Trump and The Press

A reader in Michelle Malkin's blog coined an excellent term for the press: presstitutes
I would not look to see the Trumps on the cover of Cosmo anytime soon.

Trump begins implementing his presidential media strategy  . . . "To be sure, he has many legitimate complaints, for instance about Martha Raddatz, who moderated a presidential debate and cried over Hillary’s loss during the ABC TV election night coverage, as at least one source has indicated that Trump mentioned.  There is no reasonable response to that other than an apology for it.

"Trump was conducting a seminar, reportedly in his boardroom atop Trump Tower.  Don’t kid yourself: these people are being affected by the fact that Trump’s world is one of affluence they can’t dream of.  The message impressing itself on their subconscious is that this is unlike any other president of the United States." . . .

Liberal media OK with normalizing Iran and pedophiles; Trump is a step too far  . . . "OK then. The liberal press’ mission — its renewed mission — is to continue doggedly pursue Mr. Trump to convince the American people just how bad he really is (those 60 million plus who elected him, didn’t seem to get it the first time around).
Mr. Trump can’t be normalized — he’s too dangerous. But Iran can. Pedophiles can. Pornographers can. Here’s a list of five instances where the liberal media sought to normalize the truly indefensible.

1. Slate: “What Iran — yes Iran — can teach America about the fight for LGBTQ rights.”

"Does this headline even need explanation? The U.S. should look to Iran for advice on LGBTQ freedoms? This is a country that criminalize same-sex marriage, forces women to adhere to a strict dress code in public, and prohibits freedom of expression." . . .

Trumping the Media: Donald Continually Confounds the MSM
. . . "It's amusing now to replay the scenes of those Important People who assured us that Trump, the clown, could never win. My favorite headline was from The Nation: "Relax, Donald Trump Can't Win.' " . . .

Political Cartoons by Henry Payne

Dear Media: Drop Dead -- Love, Donald J. Trump  . . . "The media, like the Hun, is always either at your feet or at your throat. Let's see which way the titans of Sixth Avenue fall." ' . . .
DRAMA: Trump reportedly explodes at media bigwigs in off-record meeting   . . . " 'No, that's not true at all. I sat right to his left. He did not explode in anger," Conway said during an appearance on Bloomberg's "With All Due Respect."
"She added:
"By the way, it's an off-the-record meeting, so whoever said that and mischaracterized it should think twice. But no he did not explode in anger. He's the president-elect. He won … winning solves a lot of problems. Winning makes a lot of statements. I'm really happy he reached out to them after a very long and bruising, hard fought, not-always-fairly-covered campaign."
