Joe Newby "On Sunday, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., is set to speak at a Democrat Party event in New Hampshire, causing some to speculate that she might actually make a run for the White House in 2020. She told the Daily Caller on Thursday that her visit has nothing to do with any potential White House run, but said she would run if millennials want her to.
“ 'I’m just going up to do a county Democratic thing. That’s all,” she said.
" 'I’m not running for anything but my own seat. I don’t have any presidential aspirations,” she said when pressed by the Daily Caller. “If the millennials want me to do it, I’d do it, though.”
Breitbart added:
“ 'According to an invitation obtained by New Hampshire’s WMUR, Waters is set to be in the state on Sunday for a picnic scheduled to be at the Miller Farm in New Durham, where she will be around members of the Strafford County Democratic Committee,” the Daily Caller reported.
On Wednesday, New York City Magazine ran an interview with Waters entitled, “Maxine Waters Is Learning From Millennials.”

"As we and others have noted, Waters has even questioned the patriotism of Trump supporters and refuses to condemn death threats against the president and his supporters.
“ 'These are tough times and in tough times we need a tough leader,” Watkins added. “That’s why I nominate Maxine Waters to be our next president.' ”
