Ex-CNN Reporter Slammed On HBO Talk Show For Using Race Card

 WLT Report

"And so we see Bill Maher on his show, Real Time with Bill Maher, calling out guest Don Lemon for using his dual special privilege card, he’s a just sweet lil’ poor gay man that’s always scared and feels so unsafe (I’m paraphrasing) and he’s a black man."

"The point of this short story is to show that the special bubble that the protected classes have, that gives them special privileges and has let them get away with so much for far too long, due to people being afraid of being called a name, is going away." . . .

New York Post reports:

Former CNN host Don Lemon was humbled after bringing up his race and sexual orientation during a segment on “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday.

Lemon spoke to Maher on a panel with New York University professor Scott Galloway about the ongoing anti-Israel protests taking place on several college campuses nationwide.

However, Lemon suggested that the protests could be a learning experience for the students.

“I’m not minimizing what’s going on, but it teaches some of these students to deal with discomfort,” Lemon said.

Lemon said, “I’m often the only person of color in the room.”

“There’s only three of us here. Come on,” Maher said as the audience began laughing and cheering.

. . . "Tell me again about your oppression, Don. "It’s so hard having a month celebrating your sexuality, with the roads painted with your flags, isn’t it?

"And what happens if someone drives over it and leaves tire tracks, Lemon?

"Do they get they get a slap on the hand?". . .
