Obama, the petulant juvenile

The Tunnel Wall grooveyard. Some memories of when Obama was president, inspired by talk in 2018 of a government shutdown.
"How can this petulant juvenile manage to stay so popular?"
"Yet they all still love this petulant juvenile President.

Obama will not attend Scalia funeral

"No doubt this petty man gets petty satisfaction from insulting a far, far better man than he."
. . . "Well, most of official Washington.  President Barack Obama has discovered he has something more important to do and will not attend.  Instead, he will be at the Supreme Court on Friday to "pay his respects" – a typical empty gesture from a man who apparently can't resist delivering one last snub to a justice who opposed him at every turn."
"The common thread through the funerals of those individuals he attended is that in death, they could do the president some partisan political good.  Scalia was useless to him politically, so Obama felt no need to honor him by attending his memorial service."

The petulant juvenile is catching some backlash  . . . "If Obama does not attend, the president also potentially risks angering Republicans whom he will need to help confirm his eventual nominee to succeed Scalia.
"Los Angeles Times opinion writer Michael McGough raised this possibility in calling the decision a “dumb political move.' ” . . .
Obama administration releases top-secret doc revealing Israel's nuclear program  "Good heavens, what has this petulant juvenile president done now?"

When you mess with a petulant juvenile administration they will shut you down.

Humor me; Open the Google search box and type in the phrase "petulant juvenile" and see what comes up as of right now. One will be this post.
Thanks, TD

90 year old veterans storm the Barrycades  "However the World War ll veterans, many of whom arrive at the Memorial on Honor Flights, complimentary flights from across the country paid for by grateful citizens, ignored the Barrycades.  Having endured the horrors of freezing European winters while bombarded by German soldiers or survived the terrors of a Japanese prison camp in their youth, the now 90 year old plus veterans weren't about to surrender to a petty Commander in Chief."

How much does it cost to block all this off compared to just leaving it as is? Hell hath no fury like a petulant juvenile president scorned.

From the military blog, Blackfive:  World War II veterans knock down police barriers to attend WWII Memorial  "Due to the government shutdown, National Park Service police put up barriers preventing access. According to Leo Shane III, White House and Veterans Affairs reporter for Stars and Stripes, the veterans knocked over those barriers."
Blackfive links to this from another military blog,  Ace of Spades HQ:
Obama Administration Specifically Denied Exception to Permit Veterans to Attend WWII Memorial  "Before we go any further, let us note once again how contrived it is to shut down entryways to a wide open space out in the middle of a park.
"This is not a building, like a museum, that has doors and staffers and guides. This is f*****g scenery.
"And yet the erected artificial barriers to block people from walking through outdoor scenery."

The Obama administration spared no expense in seeing that we are inconvenienced by this shutdown that he will blame on Republicans.

Twitchy has more photos of the incident.
Political Cartoons by Gary Varvel
WWII, Korea, and Vietnam veterans weren’t stopped from visiting their war memorials.   The defense Carol Johnson, "the chief of public affairs for the National Mall and Memorial Parks at the National Park Service offered to recorder-wielding reporters and cranky bystanders — “We have to do what we need to do to protect the monuments” — didn’t go over so well."

"Questions fell thick and fast: “Protect from who?” “How much did it cost to rent the fences that you guys just put up?” “Who instructed you to do this?*” “When you say protect the monument, who do you — protect from whom?” “Open air! It’s an open-air monument!' ”
Emphasis added.

* A petulant juvenile, I'd guess. (I love saying that)
Heller cartoon: Government shutdown

Levin: 'I'll Bring Half a Million People' to WWII Memorial if You Lay 'One Damn Hand' on Veterans  " 'Enough is enough," Levin said, saying that he took this "very personally" because his grandfather fought in Iwo Jima and his great uncle fought in Guadalcanal and would be damned if "this community activist is going to shut down their memorial.' "

Gov’t shutdown spreads to beaches of Normandy
And just HOW does one close a cemetery?  Via Lucianne

From Canada Free Press; Stunt at WWII Memorial Shows More Evidence Obama is a Thug  "It is long past time for the American people to embrace the reality that Barack Obama is a Chicago street thug in a thousand dollar suit. He is ruthless, arrogant, imperious, and filled with disdain not only for those who oppose him but also for the ignorant voters who put him in office. Anyone who would deign to work for his administration has sworn allegiance to an ideology that is anathema to the Founders of this country and the Constitution they crafted." No disrespect toward this administration intended, of course.

The Adolescent President; The rhetorical excesses of Barack Obama.

George Will  "Representative Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) had recently released his budget, so Obama expressed his disapproval by calling it, for the benefit of his academic audience, a “meanwich” and a “stinkburger.”

"Try to imagine Franklin Roosevelt or Dwight Eisenhower or John Kennedy or Ronald Reagan talking like that. It is unimaginable that those grown-ups would resort to japes that fourth-graders would not consider sufficiently clever for use on a playground.

..."Today’s president is older than that. But he talks like an arrested-development adolescent."
...
"Finally, the real discussion-stopper for the righteous — and there is no righteousness like an adolescent’s — is an assertion that has always been an Obama specialty. It is that there cannot be honorable and intelligent disagreement with him."

Right: adolescent enough for you?

The petulant juvenile dude: 10 times Obama made fun of Republicans in the past year

Washington Examiner
President Obama smiles while making a joke during his speech at the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel, May 3, in Washington, D.C. (AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin)

"President Obama is so over Republican lawmakers.

"He has long lamented what he views as GOP obstructionism, but now he’s not even trying to hide his disdain, belittling them with a newfound fervor.

" 'They don't do anything,” an exasperated Obama said in Minnesota Friday, “except block me and call me names.”

"Well, the president is also in a bit of name-calling mood.

"Here are just a handful of times Obama has mocked conservative leaders in the last year:"

And if that isn't enough, consider these opinions:

Inside the Obama Frat House   ... "There were intimations early in Obama’s Presidency that his leadership team was a boys club. "  Dude.

Jumping the shark? Thoughts on some sequester cuts as handled by a petulant, juvenile president

First define our terms; what does "jump the shark" mean?

Hopen'Change
"Yes, even though the president claims that there is no longer enough money for the government to staff the TSA, keep Navy vessels at sea, inspect meat for school lunches, forecast death-dealing weather events, pay to sweep the BS off the floors of Congress, or keep dangerous foreign felons in jail, Secret Service staffers are already booking accommodations and tee times for Mr. Obama's wildly expensive annual trip to Martha's Vineyard."
US News; Obama's Vineyard Vacation Will Cost Taxpayers Millions

Our Petty, Country-Be-Damned President  "Sometimes, the smallest things can be the most revealing.
"On Tuesday, the nation — or at least the part that’s still paying attention — learned that President Barack Obama’s administration, in what can only be seen as an incredibly petty and virulently vindictive response to spending “cuts” imposed by sequestration... decided to cancel all tours of the White House...  This and others from Lucianne; always a good source.
Political Cartoons by Henry Payne
Strassel: Jumping the Sequester  "The phrase "jumping the shark" describes that gimmicky moment when something once considered significant is exposed as ludicrous. This is the week the White House jumped the sequester."
We've learned that the White House employs three calligraphers, who cumulatively earn $277,000 a year. The Environmental Protection Agency gave $141,000 to fund a Chinese study on swine manure. Part of a $325,000 National Science Foundation outlay went to building a robotic squirrel.
Political Cartoons by Steve Kelley
Obama's LOL sequester cuts: White House tours, then 60,000 border security agents  "So, in true petulant Chicago style the first thing the Obama administration cut was White House tours."....
"Late this week as a clever PR warning of how awful sequester is, Obama administration officials ostentatiously sent out notices of possible April furloughs, not for the White House's extra chefs, groundskeepers, the guy who walks Bo the dog or other federal non-essentials. They sent them out to 60,000 border security personnel." Andrew Malcolm at IBD

Krauthammer: Obama's Golf With Tiger Travel Expenses Would Pay for a Year of White House Tours

Living Large in the Obama White House   "....The current annual cost of the White House — just in household expenses, not the policy operations for which it exists — is $1.4 billion:....the first family’s yearly health-care costs are $7 million; more than $6 million is spent on the White House grounds each year. Transporting the president cost $346 million last year. But as Michelle Obama might say, America is basically a downright mean sort of place, so the tours will just have to go."

When Harry met Romney

http://terrellaftermath.com/
Now the Dems go after Romney because he paid too much in taxes.

Likeable? Who Cares? We're Hiring a New CEO, Not Looking For a Friend  "The decision the American voter faces in November is clear. Do you vote for the man who has done the best job of telling you what you want to hear .. the man pursuing the job with no real record of accomplishment or success?  Or do you step into the voting booth and recruit the man with a proven record of business success – a man who might not be as glib or smooth at asking for the job – but a man who clearly has the better credentials to get the job done?" Boortz
Obama: Romney 'sure can afford' to pay more  "Isn’t that great that Obama has now decided that he will be the one to determine who can and should pay more in taxes?  As they say:  “From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs.”  “They” being communists, of course." Neal Boortz

NRO; Romney and Our Broken Tax Code  "The Democrats have managed to intentionally conflate the personal with the political, assisted as usual by the media. Reforming the tax code is important work for serious minds; the attention given to Romney’s personal taxes by Obama, Reid, and their echo chamber is juvenile."  (This blog -meaning moi- often refers to Mr. Obama as a petulant juvenile. Can anyone convince me he is not?)

Romney Gave 1,000 Times as Much to Charity in a Year as Biden Gave in a Decade
"The release of Mitt Romney’s 2011 tax returns shows that he freely gave away more than $4 million to charity last year (about 30 percent of his income)."

LYING IS THE NEW NORMAL
"This president just goes out there and says whatever sounds good at the moment, and the Activist Old Media watches from the sidelines, or often, encourages the deception.
"Or, I could use the harsh word and call them all what they really are----lies. "
Harry's Source Lied, Media Complied  " A letter from auditors at Price Waterhouse Cooper states unequivocally that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney paid taxes every year between 1990 and 2009. This puts an end, once and for all, to irresponsible left-wing media speculation started by Sen. Harry Reid and the Huffington Post back in July."

Looking more and more like a DOJ war on Fox News, not just James Rosen

Legal Insurrection  "First it was James Rosen’s personal email and phone records.
"Then it was Rosen’s parents’ phone records.
"Shannon Bream just reported on Hannity that court records appear to reflect phone records were obtained for multiple Fox News lines at multiple locations. The records were partially redacted, but the area codes and exchanges match up."
....
"Ryan Lizza at The New Yorker reports:
The Obama Justice Department has seized the phone records of numbers that are associated with White House staffers and, apparently, with Fox News reporters, according to a document filed in the case of Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, on October 13, 2011. Kim is a former State Department contractor accused of violating the Espionage Act for allegedly leaking classified information to James Rosen, a Fox News reporter. Ronald C. Machen, Jr., the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, who is prosecuting the case, has seized records associated with two phone numbers at the White House, at least five numbers associated with Fox News, and one that has the same area code and exchange as Rosen’s personal-cell-phone number (the last four numbers are redacted).

Obama's War on Fox News Reporters/ The DOJ targets a news corp. that won't obey the Party Line.   That reality raises an extremely important question: who's going to stop the Obama administration?"
This petulant juvenile president cannot tolerate dissent in any form.

Petulant juvenile: Obama’s tantrum a striking display of failed leadership

"It is understandable that Americans do not want to hear in such an outrageous act of war that is the Orlando massacre that they are the enemy.  Leading an entire nation, rather than a political party, is much more difficult than the more ideological task of a campaign. Ben Voth

Michael Goodwin

"If it is true that the best defense is a good offense, President Obama should be celebrating in the end zone now. Obviously furious over criticism that his anti-terror policies are weak and that the Orlando slaughter proves it, he went on a televised tirade to let America know he’s mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
"He laid waste to a field of straw men, cable-TV pundits and the always-evil “partisan rhetoric,” by which he means anyone who disagrees with him. It was a striking display of personal anger and pent-up grievances — and a total failure of leadership during a national crisis." . . .
On Islamic Terror, Words Do Matter  . . . "It is understandable that Americans do not want to hear in such an outrageous act of war that is the Orlando massacre that they are the enemy.  Leading an entire nation, rather than a political party, is much more difficult than the more ideological task of a campaign.  In a world of 24-hour campaigning, even once elected, that patriotic duty may be easy to forget." . . .

Florida governor (a Republican): Obama 'has not called' after Orlando terrorist attack   . . . "It's typically commonplace for the president to call the governor of a state after such catastrophic events.
"Scott said that he received a call from former President George W. Bush, who said that he and former first lady Laura Bush "were praying for us."
"Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, also phoned him, Scott said." . . .

Do any millennials out there have even a smidgen of interest in US foreign policy?

Yet they all still love this petulant juvenile President.

Political Cartoons by Michael Ramirez

A Week in the Life of John Kerry  . . . "Cataloguing Secretary Kerry’s misstatements and poor judgment is getting to be a regular job. One expects much more from a would be “messiah.' ”

Kerry Says He Didn't Want to Threaten Nuclear Agreement with U.S. Hostage Negotiations by attempting to ask Iran to release all US hostages last year.

Obama's Syrian policy goes down the rabbit hole . . . "Perhaps the administration’s Syrian policy, and the overall failed policies of the Obama-Clinton regime in all areas, is best summarized by the Furqa al-Sultan Murad commander quoted in the article:
Othman said he was in regular contact with his American handlers about the problems on the ground. “The Americans must stop [the YPG] — they must tell them you are attacking groups that we support just like we support you,” he said. “But they are just watching. I don’t understand U.S. politics.”
Longest-Held U.S. Hostage in History Hits 9th Anniversary  "Levinson, who served 28 years with the FBI and DEA, went missing off the coast of Iran in March 2007 while working as a private investigator. Levinson’s family later received images of him in captivity, though the Iranian government has maintained they don’t know who is holding him.
"He is the longest-held U.S. hostage in history."

State Newspaper: Cuba Won't 'Concede an Inch' Despite Obama Visit  . . . "An editorial in Granma pledged that the long-embargoed nation would cling "to its revolutionary and anti-imperialist ideals," and that normalized relations with the United States would not lead to reform there.
" 'Cuba has assumed the construction of a new relationship with the United States, fully exercising its sovereignty and committed to its ideals of social justice and solidarity. No one can presume that to do so we must renounce a single one of our principles, [or] concede an inch in their defense," the nearly 3,000-word piece stated." . . .

Congress Passes Keystone XL Bill, Time For Obama To Veto Or Shut Up

WaPo via Weasel Zippers
Veto

"The House passed a bill to approve construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline Wednesday, setting the stage for the first veto showdown of the new Congress with President Obama.
"On a 270-152 vote that fell mostly along party lines, the House approved the bill, which has already cleared the Senate. The measure will now head to Obama’s desk. The president has vowed to veto the measure.
"Only one Republican, Rep. Justin Amash (Mich.), voted against the bill. Amash, a libertarian-leaning member, frequently clashes with GOP leadership.
"Twenty-nine Democrats crossed over to vote for the pipeline.[…]

Even the Liberal Media Doesn’t Want a Keystone Fight, So Why Does Obama?
"The strangest thing about the Keystone fight is that no one except Obama even seems to want it anymore. The media has backed away from the environmental arguments.
"The Washington Post’s editorial sneers at Republicans for the vote, but concedes that Keystone isn’t an environmental threat and that there’s no sense in fighting it." . . .
The man's temperament has been demonstrated to be that of a petulant juvenile; one who will spend millions of dollars barricading open-air monuments and even highways where people can see these monuments from a distance. He will try to prevent aged WW2 veterans on the trip of their lifetime from seeing these tributes that honor them, all for spite.

Ongoing post for election night

Watch this space for notes throughout the evening. I'll be doing commentary and stories, but one site doing excellent statistical blogging and tracking electoral calls is Weasel Zippers

'WHITES-TO-HELL' PASTOR TO JOIN OBAMA  "Despite recently being condemned for ranting from the church pulpit that “white people are going to hell,” Rev. Joseph Lowery will be attending President Barack Obama’s election night party in Chicago. This is troublesome as well.
Related to this Freedom Fighter's Journal post as well: BLACK RACISM ON DISPLAY IN NYC BARBERSHOP   "The controversial answer came from one of the men who candidly said, “Turn black!” Another added, “Drop out of the race.”
"Clearly, the vast majority of American blacks are voting for the Communist-traitor-president Obama for one reason only: HE IS BLACK! America does not have a white racist problem - America has a BLACK RACIST problem...big time. ...and that is nothing to laugh about..."
Obama has brought the worst in so much of  this country and is adored by many in spite of or because of it.  New tone? Death wishes, threats of ‘If you vote for Romney, I’ll kill you,’ we ‘will f*ck sh*t up’ if he wins   One such:
Who wanna f**k some s**t up if Romney wins tomorrow?
Just in at 16 minutes after the hour:
Election night Twitter feed from Legal Insurrection

The better man did not win; the better campaign has put the petulant juvenile in for another four years. This makes us begin to figure out what has America become and is reflected in the posts coming out.
The End of the America I Know; "What do we have to look forward to? "
Trillion dollar deficits every year for the next four years.
Massive tax hikes.
Lower standard of living for the next generation.

Obama’s Missing First Term: Coming Soon?
"The conventional conservative take on all this is fear that a reelected Obama will have a free hand to fill in the blanks, transforming the country in the process. Yet if the mere prospect of Obamacare was enough to spark a first-term tea-party rebellion, what will happen when the massive changes Obama has carefully backloaded to his second term actually hit? There’s a small industry of conservative policy wonks warning about the coming consequences of Obamacare. If only part of what they say is true, we could be in for a popular backlash that makes the first tea-party wave look small by comparison."

All that remains to be seen this evening is where will Obama supporters riot and burn?

Lecturer-in-Chief Obama irks La. flood victims with memo warning them not to discriminate

How can this petulant juvenile manage to stay so popular?

Washington Times

A member of the St. George Fire Department assists residents as they wade through floodwaters from heavy rains in the Chateau Wein Apartments in Baton Rouge, La., Friday, Aug. 12, 2016. (AP Photo/Gerald Herbert)

"President Obama has refused so far to survey the Louisiana flood disaster, but he did let state and local officials know that he’s watching to make sure they don’t engage in racial discrimination.
"In a 16-page guidance issued Tuesday, the Obama administration, led by the Justice Department, warned Louisiana recipients of federal disaster assistance against engaging in “unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency).”
"The guidance’s frameworks “highlight the importance of complying with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, addressing the needs of the whole community, and ensuring equal opportunity to access recovery efforts.”
"Needless to say, some Louisiana residents were offended, including the American Conservative’s Rod Dreher, who took umbrage at receiving an anti-discrimination lecture from Washington, D.C., as locals struggle to rescue, house and feed their neighbors.
“ '[E]verywhere you look you can find black folks and white folks loving on each other, helping each other through this crisis,” Mr. Dreher said in a Thursday post.
"He referred to the guidance as a “long bureaucratic memo” issued by the “Department of Justice and many other agencies of the executive branch overseen by He Who Cannot Be Troubled to Leave Martha’s Vineyard.' ”

Trump agrees to recruit the mentally ill for military service and pay for 'sex change operations'

Ed Straker   "Trump agrees to recruit the mentally ill and pay for sex-change operations
"A few months ago, President Trump agreed to ban transvestites, the so-called "transgendered," from the military.  Obama, on his way out the door, had ordered these mentally ill people to be recruited into the military...but only after he left office.  Curious, that. . . ." The petulant juvenile struck again.TD
. . .
"If the Trump administration had taken this to the Supreme Court, it is very likely it would have prevailed.  There is no constitutional right for the mentally ill to be in the military, despite whatever name they invent for themselves.  Trump could even have gone to the Supreme Court right now to get the preliminary injunction stayed.
Instead, not only did Trump fold on the preliminary injunction, but he gave up on the entire case.
Now that the mentally ill are going to be admitted to the military (and given free "sex change operations"), you can bet that the military will become advocates for their inclusion and seek them out for recruitment.  They will be put in the middle of life-and-death situations and given control of dangerous weapons.  That's not a place for the mentally ill to be.
The next time you see a flattering news story about a mentally ill fighter pilot in charge of a billion-dollar bomber armed with nuclear warheads, think to yourself, "Thanks, President Trump!"

UK Socialized Medicine Asks for  Female Nurse for Cervical Smear, Gets Tattooed Trans Man With Stubble  "The National Health Service (NHS) patient said she was “embarrassed and distressed” when summoned by a nurse with “an obviously male appearance … close-cropped hair, a male facial appearance and voice, large number of tattoos and facial stubble” to carry out a cervical smear, The Times reports.

"When she pointed out what she thought was a mistake, the nurse told her off: “My gender is not male. I’m a transsexual.”
"Speaking after the examination, which she ultimately decided to abandon, the patient said it was “weird where somebody says to you: ‘My gender is not male’ and you think: ‘Well, what does that even mean? You are clearly a man.’ ”
"In a formal letter of complaint, she objected that “People who are not comfortable about this are presented as bigots and this is … kind of how I was made to feel about it.”

Obama will not attend Scalia funeral

"No doubt this petty man gets petty satisfaction from insulting a far, far better man than he."
Political Cartoons by Glenn McCoy
Rick Moran
"The funeral for Justice Antonin Scalia will be held Saturday.  Official Washington will pause and take stock of the life of a great man and a great jurist.

LA Times Opinion  "It’s also is a dumb political move. By attending the funeral Obama would have underscored the importance of nonpartisanship when it comes to the court. That could only have helped him make the case that the Republican-controlled Senate has a duty to give fair consideration to the person he nominates to succeed Scalia.

Reading list on last night's SOTU. Be sure to read the Victor Davis Hanson commentary here.

CNS: Not a Long, Nor a Long-Lasting Speech "President Obama carefully said that: "In 2011, Congress passed a law saying that if both parties couldn't agree on a plan to reach our deficit goal, about a trillion dollars' worth of budget cuts would automatically go into effect."
"The Congress didn't "pass a law." It passed a bill. The bill they passed went to the White House for President Obama's signature. Only after he signed it did it become "law.""  Emphasis added

CNS: 57 Vacation Days Since Vowing He 'Will Not Rest Until Anyone' Can Find A GOOD Job   "But 1,245 days later, including at least 57 days off, millions of Americans are still out of work with unemployment at 7.9 percent, 0.1 percent higher than when he took office."
Political Cartoons by Jerry Holbert

The Great Man Speaks "Who has the time or the inclination to listen to our President?  So I have prepared a synopsis of his speech.  You could read this or basically, just listen to any other of his speeches."   Read more:

A short note on Speaker Boehner's expression  "In Boehner's face, I saw a man pushed too far. Is he ready to say no to a big spending bully? Let's hope."

Obama blind to his own irony  "But the very Chicago-style tactician who once cracked wise about "bringing a knife to a gunfight" seeks to make sure that Americans never have more than a knife to bring to a gunfight."
From the editors of NRO: The Broke, Retreating State of Our Union
"The president’s confrontational, hectoring, and highly ideological speech ought to be a wake-up call to the country. The Republican majority in the House is the only real check on his power. Supplementing that check with a Republican majority in the Senate is imperative. Even through all of President Obama’s obfuscations, that much is clear."
Isn't even Obama's sycophantic media getting at least a little bit tired of this petulant juvenile and his in-your-face hubris?

The President’s Miracle-Gro Government  "Just add taxes. Spend. Repeat."

Victor Davis Hanson; Déjà Vu — You Think?  "Five years ago, the well-delivered script caused fainting, now it should earn mostly yawns: Fault the well off; invest more borrowed money in more federal programs that have no demonstrable record of success; blame the bad news on others; ignore the $1 trillion-plus annual borrowing; threaten to use more executive orders; demonize the opposition; take bad news abroad and declare it good, and fluff everything up with the hope-and-change cadences that address the trivial and avoid the fundamental."
Predictable, Forgettable The speech "will be long forgotten in a few short weeks. And that’s certainly good news for the State of the Union"

Obama’s Most Dishonest State of the Union Address  ...."Obama claimed that spending was under control, the national debt was no longer a problem, the war in Afghanistan had been won, the economic recovery was here, unemployment was fading and Al Qaeda was a shadow of its former self."

White House Escalates War of Words With Fox News

Fox News  "Calling Fox News "a wing of the Republican Party," the Obama administration on Sunday escalated its war of words against the channel, even as observers questioned the wisdom of a White House war on a news organization.
" "What I think is fair to say about Fox -- and certainly it's the way we view it -- is that it really is more a wing of the Republican Party," said Anita Dunn, White House communications director, on CNN." (Or MSNBC?)
....
"In recent weeks, the White House has begun using its government blog to directly attack what it called "Fox lies." David Gergen, who has worked for President Bill Clinton and three Republican presidents, questioned the propriety of the White House declaring war on a news organization."
 What if Republicans attacked MSNBC?

And, in this same article, is the reason I call Mr. Obama a petulant juvenile:
"Still, Obama refused to appear on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace on Sept. 20, the day he appeared on five other Sunday shows. At the time, the White House characterized the snub as payback for the Fox Broadcast Network's decision not to air an Obama prime time appearance. But last weekend, Dunn blamed Fox News Channel's coverage of the administration for Obama's snub of Fox News Sunday."

Still trying to figure how this petulant juvenile could have been reelected.

"Do Republicans have the right product, but the wrong marketing plan? Find out on this Trifecta."(Video)

'Shut Up, Grandpa'  "Collectivists of the Washington establishment, representing both major parties, have analyzed the 2012 election results and come to a lovely conclusion: old white men are the problem. The only difference of opinion between the two factions regards how one ought to handle it. ...Republican experts, as the reluctant stewards of these cantankerous fogies, are more circumspect: they merely want to leave Grandpa ranting in the corner with his talk radio shows "
