Hunter, how can we miss you if you won't go away?

Chuck Todd blasts podcasters for platforming Hunter Biden, 'spectacle' hurting Democrats   . . ." Hunter Biden was in the news again after he spoke on Andrew Callaghan's "Channel 5" podcast last weekend and Monday’s episode of former DNC chair Jaime Harrison's "At Our Table" podcast, making headlines for wild tirades defending his father and blasting his critics.

"Todd responded on his own podcast by declaring, "I will never book Hunter Biden," and explained why. "Number one, he's not the candidate. He wasn't on the ballot. Anything he says in defense of his father, I don't know whether it's true or not, but it doesn't matter. He's a son defending his father," he said.". . .

Hunter Biden accuses George Clooney of undermining his father in 2024 | AP NewsScreed against longtime Democratic advisers. "There were also weighty critiques of several longtime Democratic advisers.

"Anita Dunn, a longtime Biden senior adviser, has made “$40 to $50 million” off of work for the Democratic Party, Hunter Biden said. James Carville, adviser to former President Bill Clinton, “hasn’t run a race in 40 f——— years.”

"Former Obama strategist David Axelrod, Hunter Biden said, “had one success in his political life, and that was Barack Obama — and that was because of Barack Obama.” Other former Obama aides who now host “Pod Save America” are “four white millionaires that are dining out on their association with Barack Obama from 16 years ago,” he said.

"One of the four, Tommy Vietor, Monday on social media applauded Hunter Biden’s decision “to process the election, look inward, and hold himself accountable for how his family’s insular, dare I say arrogant at times, approach to politics led to this catastrophic outcome we’re all now living with.”

"In a message Tuesday, Axelrod told The Associated Press, “Never have the words ‘no comment’ felt more appropriate.” Dunn did not immediately return a message seeking comment." . . .

A look at Hunter Biden's recent interviews about his father and the Democratic Party : NPR

. . .PAGER: Right now, I think what we're hearing from Hunter Biden is a lot of personal grievance and score settling. Hunter and some other members of the former president's family and close allies feel very frustrated by what they feel like was disloyalty from members of the Democratic Party.

The Stare That Broke America; Rudeness is now revolutionary.

There is an old saying “Courtesy is the grease of a civilized society.” It does indeed help to hold society together. We forget it at our peril.

The American Spectator

"Previous generations understood something vital — courtesy wasn’t always heartfelt, but it held society together. You smiled. You nodded. You engaged. Not because it was authentic, but because it was necessary."

Decoding Expressionless Gazes

"The internet has discovered that young people sometimes look blank when confused or bored. Panic ensues.

"It’s the latest “phenomenon” rattling the internet: the so-called Gen Z stare — the earth-shattering discovery that 20-year-olds sometimes zone out. Millions of TikTok views later, we’re treating blank expressions and dead-eyed customer service like they’re some anthropological breakthrough.

"This is what passes for cultural analysis in 2025: dissecting teenage facial expressions like we’re studying alien life forms. The same media apparatus that gave us think pieces on “soft launching” (not oversharing) has now discovered that young waitresses look annoyed when customers ramble.

"Revolutionary stuff.

"The “Gen Z stare” joins a proud tradition of transforming mundane human behavior into complex sociological phenomena. We’ve become a society that needs trendy labels for basic rudeness and social failings.

"Consider “ghosting” — the fascinating discovery that some people don’t return calls or texts. Previous generations called this “being an ass” or “having no manners.” Now it’s a dating phenomenon worthy of academic study. “Breadcrumbing” is the equally groundbreaking concept of stringing someone along, a practice documented since humans first figured out courtship. “Love bombing” is showering someone with excessive attention early in a relationship, which your grandmother would have recognized as “coming on too strong.”

" 'Doom scrolling” elevated “reading too much depressing news” into a clinical-sounding condition. “Phone stacking” is putting phones in a pile during dinner. Previous generations accomplished this by simply not bringing electronics to the table." . . .

Ghislaine Maxwell granted limited immunity while giving DOJ '100 different people' linked to Jeffrey Epstein

 NY Post

"Epstein counted influential politicians and businessmen as his associates — including former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Trump. The 47th president had a falling out with Epstein in 2004 — and reportedly later banned him from Mar-a-Lago for acting inappropriately with a club member’s daughter"
Notorious sex criminal Ghislaine Maxwell answered questions from Justice Department officials about “100 different people” linked to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, an attorney for the disgraced socialite claimed Friday following two days of interrogation led by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche during which she was reportedly granted limited immunity.
"David Oscar Markus told reporters that his client, currently serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted in Manhattan of federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges in December 2021, was “asked about every possible thing you could imagine – everything.”
" 'This was the first opportunity she’s ever been given to answer questions about what happened,” Markus added. “The truth will come out about what happened with Mr. Epstein and she’s the person who’s answering those questions.” . . .   More...

"The Clintons and several former top Justice Department officials — ex-FBI Director James Comey, one-time special counsel Robert Mueller and former Attorneys General Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions and Alberto Gonzales — were included in the list of subpoenas sought by Perry in order to “expand the full committee’s investigation into Ms. Maxwell.”

New DNI Docs Reveal Washington Post's Role In Russiagate Hoax

 The Federalist

The media did not simply report on Russiagate — it helped create Russiagate. And no outlet played a bigger role in manufacturing this false reality than Ellen Nakashima and The Washington Post.

"Newly released documents from Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard have shattered the official narrative surrounding Russian interference in the 2016 election. A previously classified draft of the Presidential Daily Briefing (PDB), prepared for President Barack Obama on Dec. 8, 2016, shows that the formal intelligence assessment was that Russia had neither influenced the outcome of the election nor shown any preference for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton. It was also revealed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Security Agency (NSA) determined there was insufficient evidence to assert that Russia had hacked the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

"Yet these candid assessments were immediately overturned. The narrative was flipped entirely, now claiming that Russia had interfered specifically to help Trump win. To lend this reversal an air of legitimacy, Obama ordered an Intelligence Community Assessment explicitly designed to support the new storyline. This dramatic about-face was immediately echoed in the press, with The Washington Post at the center of the disinformation campaign.

"On the morning of Dec. 9, 2016 — just one day after the draft PDB was circulated among Obama officials — The Washington Post published an article co-authored by Ellen Nakashima reporting that President Obama had ordered a review of Russia’s role in the election. The article stated that Russia had “attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome” of the 2016 race.

"Citing this article, the report accompanying the DNI’s new document release concludes that “Deep State officials in the IC [intelligence community]” had begun “leaking blatantly false intelligence to the Washington Post.” The DNI report goes on to state that later that same day, another leak to the Post falsely claimed the CIA had “concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened” in the election to help Trump."

The Washington Post’s Dishonesty

"In truth, the DNI report understates just how dishonest the episode really was. While the report cites two separate leaks to the Post, suggesting two different articles, they were in fact the same story — heavily rewritten after publication. The original version, which merely claimed that Russia had attempted to interfere, was already a serious departure from the previous day’s draft PDB. But that version apparently wasn’t strong enough for the “Deep State” officials feeding Nakashima the story. Within hours, that version mysteriously vanished." . . .

American Kids Aren't Alright If They Like Socialism

 Gabriella Hoffman

"Contrast what’s happening here in the U.S. with formerly oppressed countries in Central and Eastern Europe: Younger people are rejecting socialism and communism since the horrors are still raw there."

"Liberals don't want anarchy. Far from it. They want totalitarian socialism, the complete opposite of anarchy."

"American kids aren’t alright.

"According to a recent Cato Institute/YouGov survey, a majority (64%) of America’s Generation Z members say they have a favorable view of socialism, while 34% of them view communism positively.

"Imagine this: GenZers who’ve grown up in the freest, most prosperous time imaginable, with first-world luxuries, SmartPhones, and relatively few hardships, want central planning in their lives. Do they know what they’re asking for? Do they think socialism will work this go-around, despite its bloody track record?

"This trend, sadly, tracks with other polls showing troubling, growing support for these deadly ideologies. That’s why an increasing number of GenZers are fawning over radical New York City Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.

"Mamdani is the new shiny object for the cause of “democratic” socialism–socialism you foolishly vote in, but still end up miserable under. I wasn’t surprised when an unearthed clip of him endorsing the abolition of private property– a communist tenet, mind you– recently circulated on social media. The 1917 Bolshevik Decree on Land that first argued for the same “reform,” stating, “Landed proprietorship is abolished forthwith without any compensation.” Ironically, per ethics documents he filed as a New York State Assemblyman, Mamdani owns a four-acre land parcel in Uganda. Private property for me, not for thee? That’s so Bolshie!" . . .

. . ."To any young disillusioned person out there reading this: socialism and communism aren’t the answer to your woes. The Mamdani’s of the world are deceiving you. Promises of “free” things come with steep costs—higher taxes, less autonomy, and fewer grocery store options. Kiss your bougie Starbucks orders and Labubu dolls goodbye if he wins.

Columbia finally pays fines and punishes student protestors

  Susan Quinn

"Let’s hope that other elite universities will come to their senses and recognize that providing a balanced environment is the way to ensure the benefits and integrity of higher education for the future."

Dressed as Gazans who murdered jews and burned babies alive.

"The elite universities of this country have become notorious for their discrimination, arrogance, and poor priorities. Near the top of the list was Columbia University, which demonstrated a striking disregard for basic civility and particularly, its Jewish students.

"But Columbia is on the road to changing its ways and is making amends with the community, as well as in its relationship with the United States:

Columbia University has disciplined over 70 students for participating in two student-led protests, a source familiar with the matter said.

The university confirmed in a statement Tuesday that it was punishing students who participated in the protest at the school’s Butler Library, where at least 80 people were detained, as well as a similar demonstration during its annual alumni weekend last year.

"In response to the university’s offenses, the federal government had cut hundreds of millions of dollars, leverage which brought Columbia to heel:

Columbia has agreed to implement a series of policy reforms in an attempt to regain the federal funding.

That included overhauling the student disciplinary process and adopting a new definition of antisemitism.

"Columbia has taken substantive and serious steps to meet the expectations of the Trump Administration. One of those steps is responding to the Supreme Court’s banning the application of affirmative action and paying penalties for their past decisions:"...

The biggest scandal in American history. Consider the harm done to our nation.

Who can forget those nightmarish, vitriolic speeches at Freedom Hall, the final Biden SOTU, and the Democrat convention by a medically(?) jacked-up Joe Biden that practically begged someone, anyone, to assassinate Mr. Trump? The Tunnel Dweller

Eric Utter - American Thinker

"The crux of the matter is this: if, yet again, there is no real accountability for elite lawbreakers and evildoers, whether it be those who perpetrated this scandal or those who aided and abetted — or covered up — Epstein’s, if there really is a two-tier justice system, Americans will soon lose any and all faith in their institutions, leaders … and country."

"This is, inarguably, the biggest scandal in American history, and by far the most consequential. Period.

"If you know not of which I speak, you must largely consume mainstream media. (Which means it is very unlikely you’d be reading posts at the American Thinker, rendering the previous two sentences rather moot.)

"It does a monumental disservice to justice to simply call it the Russia-Russia-Russia Collusion Hoax.

"It now seems clear that an outgoing president worked with a former first lady Macbeth (and then presidential candidate), a future president, and the country’s intelligence community to make up something out of whole cloth -- specifically to take down a freshly and duly elected president and negate the will of the people.

"Tragically, those involved in these efforts to subvert the election/will of the people were largely successful.

"The Deep State, the intelligence agencies, and the most prominent members of the Democrat party, including the outgoing president, hatched and effectuated a scheme to oust, destroy, or render ineffective the democratically elected president from their rival party.

"Smooth transition of power? No, unprecedented duplicity and high treason. The kind that, if proven, caused folks in days of yore to be hung from the highest yardarm … or at least given the death penalty."

"Of course, these days, the perpetrators are zealously protected by those in the wildly corrupt and disingenuous corporate media." Emphases mine, TD

It was horrible for the country

Again, these people were willing to destroy the country because they couldn’t accept election results.  And then they told us that Trump was a threat to democracy!

"Back in 2017–18, it was “Russia, Russia, Russia.”  Today, it’s “hoax, hoax, hoax.”  For me, the worst part of the story is that it hurt the country incredibly.  It poisoned the well, and we are still recovering.

"Why did it happen?

"First, the Democrats could not accept Mrs. Clinton’s defeat.  They had to explain it but couldn’t say the truth.  Like VP Harris, Secretary Clinton was a horrible candidate who did not connect with voters.  So the Democrats had to blame somebody, and Russia, Russia, Russia was an easy scapegoat.

Second, the extent to which the Obama team went to destroy President Trump is alarming.  This is an excellent summary from Professor Victor Davis Hanson:" . . .

Five Quick Things: Remembering How Terrible Hillary Actually Is | The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

. . . "It’s not like we don’t know the answer. We’ve known it all along. Hillary Clinton was soliciting bribes on behalf of the Clinton Foundation grift engine as well as others, using her position as secretary of state in Barack Obama’s first term.

"And she was doing it openly. Do you think everyone else in the Obama administration was unaware that her email address was not an official one?

"Obama was in on everything Hillary was doing. If he wasn’t, he’d have put a stop to it." . . .
