The Palestinians Don’t Deserve a State

 PJ Media

"And now, the same continent that gave rise to the Holocaust is about to recognize a “country” that’s dedicated to the destruction of the only Jewish nation on Earth. Even if this “country” doesn’t actually exist!"

"Here’s a bold idea for the Kurds, Taiwanese, and Tibetans: Go to Israel and kidnap a bunch of Jews. It’s your quickest path to statehood.

"Travel to Tel Aviv, go swipe a few hundred Israeli civilians (women and children are your best bet; they’re smaller and take up less space), and then send your demands to the United Nations. Within a few days, England, France — and a growing number on the American left — will reward you with statehood.

"Pro Tip: Try to align your independence movement with some kind of colorful headgear — like what the Palestinians did with the keffiyeh. (It gives college kids something fun to cosplay in while they beat up Jews on campus.)

"From NPR: The U.K. will recognize a Palestinian state if Israel doesn’t agree to a Gaza ceasefire

"So today, as part of this process towards peace, I can confirm the U.K. will recognize the state of Palestine by the United Nations General Assembly in September unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza, agree to a ceasefire and commit to a long-term, sustainable peace, reviving the prospect of a two-state solution," [British Prime Minister Keir] Starmer said in an address on Tuesday.

"Starmer could’ve tied recognition of a Palestinian state to the release of the starving Israeli hostages. Instead, he did the exact opposite: He told the Palestinians they’ll be rewarded with statehood if they keep this war going.

"And so they will." . . .

. . . "because the Palestinians have proven themselves utterly incapable of achieving statehood on their own. And since they’re reliant on global support — including money, food, sanctuary, and political cover — then it’s fair and reasonable for the world to put conditions on their support:  Release the hostages; Dismantle Hamas; Demilitarize; Cease all terrorist activities."

Sergeant attacks his chain of command

Who is Quornelius Radford? What we know about the US Army's Fort Stewart shooting suspect | Marca

"All Soldiers were treated on-site and moved to Winn Army Community Hospital for further treatment," the post read. "There is no active threat to the community."

. . . "The alleged shooter is Sergeant Quornelius Samentrio Radford, 28, who opened fire inside the operational area of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team (2nd ABCT), where he served as an automated logistics specialist.

The attack was quickly contained by other soldiers, who tackled him before more harm could be done. He was then taken into custody and is currently in pre-trial confinement.  The FBI is working in coordination with the Army's Criminal Investigation Division to determine the motive. So far, no public evidence links the attack to terrorism, and authorities are avoiding speculation as the investigation continues.

"Radford remains in pre-trial military custody, and legal proceedings are underway.  ' . . .

All Holly did was try to stop a fight. For doing the right thing, she was beaten to the ground as people stood around laughing and filming.

Whatfinger News' Choice Clips. "All Holly did was try to stop a fight. For doing the right thing, she was beaten to the ground as people stood around laughing and filming. No one called 911. “I’m a single mom. I don’t get out much, so I just wanted to go celebrate my friend’s birthday and let loose for a couple hours and, you know, total innocent fun with all of us. I tried to break up a fight, and then I got attacked myself.” “There were a hundred people there that night. I was the only one who jumped in to try and save him because that was the right thing to do.” “Not one person called 911 but they film these heinous crimes and attempted murder, because that is what it is, no matter what they label it. It was attempted murder.”

[Democrat, of course] Congresswoman: 'I Am a Proud Guatemalan' –

 HotAir

"In the view of the "decolonizers," America and the West are lands to be plundered, not homelands to become a part of."

It's becoming a trend among Democrats.

"As immigrants from third-world countries have started getting elected in the woke areas, they freely admit that their political priorities are not about improving America, but instead are focused on their fellow countrymen in this and their home countries.

"Ilhan Omar regularly speaks in Somali to transplanted Somali migrants. Omar Fateh, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (Minnesota Democrats) candidate for Minneapolis Mayor, declared his allegiance to Somalia and Somalis, and now Representative Delia Ramirez of Illinois declares that she is a Guatemalan before she is American.

"She was born here, by the way, but obviously is not a fan of the country that placed her in Congress. " . . .

. . . "I'm pretty certain that Ramirez couldn't be denaturalized and deported--that is hyperbole--because she was born in Chicago. Moreover, I wouldn't support deporting a natural-born American citizen for making such an insane remark.

"But kicking her off the Homeland Security Committee? Of course, that should happen. She has declared that her loyalty is to another country. How on Earth can Congress have a representative charged with defending the "homeland" (I hate that term!) whose allegiance is not to the United States?

"Only in America, I suppose. What a country!"

Rep. Delia Ramirez declares her loyalty to Guatemala first at a Mexican leftist gathering - American Thinker   . . . "If Congress could kick Rep. George Santos out of office for an inflated resume, then it certainly can expel someone who proclaims her loyalty to Guatemala first.

"She has taken to defending herself by declaring anyone criticizing her loyalty problems as a 'white supremacist authoritarians."

"Not a hint of apology for what she said. No clarification. No declaration of any loyalty to the U.S."

Dems furious at Texas redistricting need to look in the mirror

Texas Dems Flee the State | The American Spectator

Rich Lowry; NY Post  . . . "In the meantime, the partisan effect of the new Texas lines before the 2026 midterms is unmistakable: If Republicans were likely to lose five seats from this redistricting, there’s no doubt that the state’s Republican governor and Republican legislature wouldn’t be undertaking it.
"Drawing district lines is an inherently political enterprise, and parties tend to give themselves the best of it.
"When Democrats controlled the Texas Legislature, they maintained congressional lines in their favor.
"It wasn’t until 2002, when Republicans won the statehouse for the first time since Reconstruction, that the GOP could redraw the congressional map — and Republicans subsequently won a majority of Texas congressional seats in 2004, also for the first time since Reconstruction.
"Since Democrats gerrymander too, they have limited options  for retaliating against Texas.

Pritzker says he may redraw his state’s lines, but this would require gerrymandering on top of  this current gerrymander."

Guess Who's Paying for the Runaway Texas Democrats' Attempt to Block GOP Redistricting – Twitchy    "Aside from the "we're saving democracy by trying to stop the democratic process from playing out in the state legislature" lunacy from many Texas Democrats, they're also making it clear they also don't believe all their "existential threat from climate change" warnings: . . ."

Go Time: Texas AG Ken Paxton Prepares to Vacate the Seats of Democrats Who Fled to Stop Redistricting – RedState   . . . "Further, a ballot initiative doing away with the quorum requirement should be proposed to stop this once and for all. Gerrymandering exists for a reason, and we can't have a system where Democrat-led states like Illinois, Maryland, California, and others get to push things to the max while Texas doesn't. The way you stop congressional gerrymandering is by winning state-level elections. Texas Democrats should try it sometime."

How Gerrymandering Began in the US

History   "In March 1812, the Boston Gazette ran a political cartoon depicting “a new species of monster”: “The Gerry-mander.” The forked-tongue creature was shaped like a contorted Massachusetts voting district that the state’s Jeffersonian Republicans had drawn to benefit their own party. Governor (and future vice president) Elbridge Gerry signed off on his party’s redistricting plan in February, unwittingly cementing his place in the United States lexicon of underhanded political tricks."

"Federalist newspapers in Massachusetts reprinted the cartoon with its portmanteau of “Gerry” and “salamander,” helping the new word to take off. Although the pronunciation has changed over time—Gerry’s name is pronounced like “Gary,” but Americans now pronounce the word bearing his name like “Jerry”-mander—the meaning has mostly remained the same: gerrymandering is when politicians redraw voting districts to benefit their political party." . . .  Full article...

Why a ceasefire before totally destroying Hamas would be a disaster for Israel

BARE NAKED ISLAM  "Senior Hamas member Ghazi Hamad admitted live on TV exactly what Hamas’ plan is: They will stop at NOTHING to destroy Israel, and they don’t care how many Gazan ‘martyrs’ die to make it happen. Yet British PM Starmer, French President Macron, and Canadian PM Carney are insisting that Israel must agree to a permanent ceasefire by September."
