Jasmine Crockett Just Got Caught in Another Scandal

 Townhall

"The lawmaker is known not only for lying about Jeffrey Epstein, but also crime. She claimed that white supremacists are responsible for most of the crime in the United States."

Rich Terrell

"When Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) isn’t busy trying to deceive the public about Jeffrey Epstein’s donations to Republicans, she’s dodging bills.

"The lawmaker reportedly refuses to pay for her luxury home in Dallas, according to a Fox News Digital report.

Progressive firebrand and rumored Senate candidate Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, has had an unpaid lien balance of over $3,000 against her luxury condo in Dallas for over a year, according to county records reviewed by Fox News Digital.

A notice of a lien filed on April 11, 2024, which is publicly available on the Dallas County Clerk’s website, shows that Crockett owes the Westside Condominium Association a total of $3,047.79.

The notice said that Crockett "is in default in her obligation for payment of assessments and has failed and refused and continues to fail and refuse, despite demand upon her, to pay the Association assessments and related charges properly levied against the Property." . . .  More...

. . . "The report notes that Crockett bought the condominium in May 2014. The HOA fees are between $222 and $403.

"This news comes after Crockett’s suspicious campaign expenses were exposed. Her campaign spent over $25,000 on high-end hotels and limousine services in 2025. She also spent almost $50,000 on security expenses." . . .

Has the Global Warming Threat Passed? Sometimes weather is just weather.

These departures from traditional objective journalism harm us all. Just as a pilot requires reliable instrumentation to navigate the skies" . . ."participants in a liberal democracy need honest reporting to best inform their civic participation as voters and citizens."

"Made you look!
"Over the last two weeks, parts of the coastal Northeast have experienced sub-freezing temperatures, well before such readings are typical.
"In contrast with the occasional 60-degree day one might experience in New York City in January, such uncharacteristically cool temperatures have failed to give rise to plaintive headlines and think pieces decrying the “new normal” of an increasingly frigid planet.
"And yet oddly warm winter days will often prompt just that — everything from interviews with young people expressing guilt over enjoying a pleasant winter’s day in Central Park (which I recall seeing in New York media several years ago), to 3,000-word essays explicating in laborious detail how a warmer world will impact (among other things) migration flows, geopolitics, and food prices.
"Whether under the cover of straight reporting or in the form of the dreaded “news analysis” increasingly popular in many publications, media outlets often cannot resist stretching an anodyne, anecdotal experience (in this example, the weather) into a tendentious line of reasoning designed to drive a predetermined narrative.
"Such ideologically infused reporting elides how the events comprising the human experience tend to sit along a bell curve of probability. To label a weather event a “hundred-year storm” is to correctly acknowledge the difference between infrequency and unprecedentedness; by contrast, citing some outlying, five standard deviations from the mean occurrence as proof of durable “change” insults one’s intelligence.
"The “news analysis” format in particular is rife with shaky extrapolations of discrete events into larger patterns of meaning. Publications offering only straight reporting and an opinion/commentary section draw sufficiently clear lines between what is provable fact (or can be reasonably inferred) on the one hand, and the opinions or conclusions which one might draw from such reporting on the other. What “news analysis” pieces — whether anecdotally derived or otherwise — do is short circuit the process by which the reader educates himself and forms an opinion; rather, it presents information — which need not even be particularly compelling, as is often the case with anecdotal experience — and instructs the audience as to how to interpret it."  . . .

DHS to increase operations in Twin Cities region as Somali fraud becomes unignorable

Cooper Williamson

"As deportation operations continue to clean up sanctuary cities across the country, the Department of Homeland Security is focusing on another hub of problematic immigration: the Minneapolis-St. Paul region of Minnesota.

'The Washington Examiner reported that Tom Homan, the Trump administration's border czar, hinted at an immigration enforcement surge there as soon as this week.

'In a Fox News appearance on Tuesday, Homan suggested that plans were already in the works to increase resources in the Twin Cities in particular.

“ 'I can tell you, the focus is there. It's coming, but I don't want to give a lot. I can't tell you how many people are on the ground now, and how many people are going to be on the ground. I'll leave that to the secretary of homeland security, but focus is on those Twin Cities more because of the criminal activities there that've been uncovered by DOJ and DHS,” Homan said in the interview.

Citing an anonymous source familiar with the operations, the New York Times reported that the operation will target Somalis with final deportation orders in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region.

"Roughly 100 ICE agents have been called in for the operation, according to NYT.

"This surge in law enforcement comes as the federal government expands its investigations into massive COVID-era fraud schemes. Over 75 indictments have already been issued, and Governor Tim Walz has been accused of obstruction in the case." . . .More...l

Why Are There So Many Women Blocking ICE Agents from Doing Their Jobs?

 Phyllis Chesler

"Why are these women also flying Palestine flags and wearing keffiyehs? Who is paying them to do this? Or are they actually stupid enough to do this pro bono?

"For that matter, why are so many young women in NYC so dressed up as they line up to catch a glimpse of their heartthrob, killer Luigi Mangione, who is on trial for murdering an insurance company executive?

"Might as well ask: Why do women write to male serial killers who have killed women? And why do they marry them as well? I once joked that they do so because they have delusions of omnipotence--that they alone can tame the savage beast, but there’s more. They can always be sure where “their” man is; there can be no other woman with him; and, most of all, these brides do not have to cook, do laundry, or clean up for these male killers who might actually appreciate their visits, including the conjugal visits.

"What is wrong with this picture? Practically everything. And the real and radical feminist movement is nowhere in sight. We’ve been marginalized, disappeared, our most important ideas forgotten.

"Oh yes: There are so many women in hijabs attacking pro-Israel activists, individual Jews, both Jewish students and teachers...I could go on. I have ideas about this but will share them a bit later."
