There’s a New Biden Autopen Scandal Bombshell, and It Involves Kamala

 PJ Media

"Every new memo proves the Biden-Harris White House wasn’t just incompetent—it was actively deceiving the American people. The media’s role? Protect the Democrats at all costs. "

                                                      of Caricaturing Kamala Harris

"The Biden autopen scandal just got even worse, and this time Kamala Harris finds herself squarely in the crosshairs.

"The Trump administration’s investigation into former president Joe Biden’s reliance on the autopen has unearthed internal White House memos that reveal something far more damaging than anyone initially suspected: Biden wasn’t just using the autopen to sign documents—he was effectively handing over presidential power to his vice president, who had no constitutional authority to wield it.

"In the earliest days of Biden’s presidency, White House Staff Secretary Jess Hertz circulated a draft memo that should alarm every American. Just the News obtained and reviewed the documents, which recommended that Biden “personally approve and hand-sign all decisions that require presidential action,” particularly when it came to pardons.

"You have to wonder why such a memo was even necessary. From the very start, those closest to Biden knew he wasn’t capable of handling the most basic responsibilities of the office, and decisions normally reserved for the president were being delegated to others.

"By Biden’s final year in office, even that minimal safeguard had collapsed. Internal memos obtained by the Trump White House reveal that Biden was increasingly deferring to Kamala Harris on clemency decisions.

"A particularly damning February 2024 memo from Biden’s White House Counsel’s office noted that while Biden had previously asked to discuss pardon candidates personally, the process had shifted to the point where “the Vice President’s approval was sufficient to obtain his approval.”

"The Constitution grants the power to “grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States” exclusively to the president—yet Biden was outsourcing this authority to Kamala Harris, who had no constitutional right to exercise it." . . . More...

Care To Guess How Many Of The Safest Cities In The U.S. Have A Democratic Mayor?

 I & I Editorial Board

"Earlier this week, we reported that of the 20 most dangerous cities in the country – measured by their homicide rates in 2024 – only one had a Republican mayor. We were shocked by this finding.

"So, we decided to look at the other end of the spectrum. What are the political affiliations of the mayors in the safest cities in the country?

"Here’s what we found.

"Many cities have nonpartisan elections, but of the 20 safest cities in the country, just five have mayors who are affiliated with or supported by Democrats.

"Well, you might dismiss this as simply the result of these being relatively small cities. And it’s true that these are on the small side.

"But small size doesn’t necessarily make a city safer. Among the cities with the highest homicide rates are St. Louis, which has a population of just over 277,000; the Richmond, Va., population is 231,000; Montgomery, Ala., has 193,000; and Shreveport, La., 175,000. Dayton, Ohio, with a population almost exactly the same as Orange, Calif., has a homicide rate of 29.7 per 100,000 residents.

"On the other hand, San Diego, which has a population of 1.4 million, has a homicide rate of just 2.52 – well below the national average and almost a third of Los Angeles. San Diego has also seen voters put results over ideology – it’s had four Republican and five Democratic mayors since 1992.

"Honolulu, with nearly a million residents, has a homicide rate of just 1.5. It, too, appears to value results over party ID. Since 1984, the city has had one Republican, two independents, and three Democratic mayors." . . .

Democrats Reject Law and Order

The American SpectatorChicago awash in crime.

"And oh yes. The governor is telling his citizens not only to live with crime, but if they are going to monitor anything, it should not be criminals, but ICE agents. Really."

Calvin Coolidge was not amused.
It was 1919, and the Republican governor of Massachusetts, Calvin Coolidge by name, had had it with a lawless “police strike” in Boston.
"Almost 100 years later, in 2018, The Washington Post would note:
"The phrase ‘law and order’ was used as the title of a 1919 speech given by Calvin Coolidge in response to a police strike in Boston. Coolidge, then governor of Massachusetts, had called in the National Guard to quell a weekend of lawlessness when the department attempted to unionize. The Boston papers characterized the cops as Bolsheviks who set out to destroy civil society.
"“There are strident voices, urging resistance to law in the name of freedom,” Coolidge said. “They are not seeking freedom for themselves; they have it. They are seeking to enslave others. Their works are evil. They know it. They must be resisted.”
"The future president added harshly, “Laws are not manufactured. They are not imposed. They are rules of action existing from everlasting to everlasting. He who resists them, resists himself. He commits suicide. … To obey is life. To disobey is death.”
"By 1968, GOP presidential nominee Richard Nixon had revived the Coolidge phrase and campaigned across the country for a return to law and order.
"Nixon’s campaign slogan resonated — with reason. In 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King and Democratic presidential candidate Senator Robert F. Kennedy (father of HHS Secretary RFK Jr.) had both been assassinated. During the last four years of Democrat President Lyndon Johnson’s presidency, riots had broken out in major American cities.
"The riots had begun in New York’s Harlem in 1964, moving on to the Los Angeles Watts section in 1965 and, in massive fashion, to Detroit and Newark in 1967. History records that following the assassination of Dr. King, there were disturbances in over 100 urban areas around the country.
"In Chicago specifically, the riot there — per Wikipedia — “left 11 Chicago citizens dead, 48 wounded by police gunfire, 90 policemen injured, and 2,150 people arrested.”
"Chicago has a history of facing crime on its streets. And right this minute, Chicago’s crime problems are making headlines again. Take this headline from the Chicago Sun-Times: “9 killed, 52 wounded over Labor Day weekend, most violent holiday weekend of summer,” with the subtitle, “As President Donald Trump threatens to send the National Guard into Chicago to quell violence, violence surged, with 16 people wounded over the weekend in three mass shootings. Other attacks left 9 dead.” . . .  More...
