Indiana U Study Finds Anti-Israel Activism is ‘Highly Coordinated’

 College Insurrection

"Other “top collaborators” include Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Chicago, the U.S. Palestinian Community Network, and DISSENTERS."

"We probably didn’t need a study to know this, but confirmation is a good thing.

"The College Fix reports:

Anti-Israel activism is ‘highly coordinated,’ Indiana University study concludes

Anti-Israel activism is “highly coordinated” through one main group, an Indiana University study concluded. One of the co-authors told The College Fix that campuses which combat hostility can see less of it, but there can also be backlash.

The “central node” is the national Students for Justice in Palestine, “which functions as a strategic and narrative hub,” Professor Günther Jikeli wrote in the 61-page report. Jikeli leads the university’s Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and is a recipient of the Raoul Wallenberg Prize in Human Rights and Holocaust Studies by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and Tel Aviv University.

The researchers also wrote in their report that criticism of Israel is not always the same as antisemitism. “While political debate and student activism are vital to academic freedom, the rhetoric and actions of some groups now frequently cross the line into antisemitism, creating a hostile climate for many Jewish students and faculty,” the report stated. Many of the posts reflect Hamas messaging, the study alleges.

“Our analysis focuses on documented antisemitic incidents and on online activity where anti-Israel activism intersects with the glorification of violence and the amplification of extremist narratives,” the authors wrote in an introductory note.

However, many anti-Israel groups promote violence, the report alleges." . . .

Comment to the above post: "And our spoiled college students are not at all repulsed that Hamas got carried away with the killing and the blood and the ferocity. Apparently, the little snowflakes that require safe spaces from disturbing ideas are just fine with rape and baby killing if the cause is just. And they are convinced that the Palestinian cause is just.

"There is somebody beyond these two groups plotting behind the scenes. Somebody is paying the bills and greasing the way forward."

Biden abused his authority by turning FEMA into a far-left political machine

 Miranda Devine

"It began the minute Joe Biden came into office, when he concocted a fake voter registration crisis by leveraging the same racial discord that he had exploited during the George Floyd riots . . ."

"The Biden administration abused its power by turning the entire mechanism of the federal government into a Democratic voter mobilization campaign, according to newly unearthed White House documents viewed exclusively by The Post.

"The worst offender was FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, under the Department of Homeland Security, which was controlled for four years by Biden’s Machiavellian border buster Alejandro Mayorkas.

"When responding to an emergency or a natural disaster, FEMA employees were directed to make voter registration a “key priority.” . . .

FEMA snubbed GOP

"FEMA employees were so fixated on voter outreach that, when they visited hurricane-ravaged Florida last October, they didn’t even bother knocking on the doors of houses that had Trump signs in the yard

"Instead of assisting Hurricane Milton survivors, they were instructed to “avoid homes advertising Trump,” according to an Office of Special Counsel complaint.

"FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington was fired as a scapegoat after Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called foul on the scam and the Daily Wire reported that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags had been skipped by FEMA and denied the opportunity of qualifying for federal assistance.

"It stands to reason that if FEMA’s priority was getting out Democrats to vote, the last people they would want to visit were Trump supporters.

"The Florida scandal came on the heels of the Biden administration’s sluggish response to Hurricane Helene in Trump-supporting rural areas of North Carolina and Tennessee.

"Whether it was Hurricane Helene, the Maui wildfires, Hurricane Ian, or the East Palestine train derailment in Ohio, FEMA always came up short during the Biden years.

"The agency’s inadequate performance is more understandable when you realize that providing actual disaster relief to victims had become simply a side dish to the partisan political priorities of the Democratic Party." . . .

FEMA workers told to ‘avoid homes’ with Trump signs in hurricane-ravaged Florida community  Liberal sites deny this, but it is documented as truthful:

FEMA Chief Admits: 'We Skipped Trump Supporters' Homes During Hurricane Relief Efforts - EconoTimes

"The controversy emerged when a whistleblower reported that certain FEMA officials considered Trump supporters as "domestic terrorists," leading to deliberate avoidance of their homes during relief efforts."

Insufferable Diva, the Boss from Hell: Jasmine Crockett

 Conservative Firing Line

Isn't that the same way that Kamala Harris's staff described her? The Dems aren't sending their best, are they. Both Crockett and Harris are cut from the same cloth, highly irritating wool.

We could have guessed how Jasmine Crockett is to her staff, since Kamala Harris was an absolute jerk to hers too (and Amy Klobuchar, etc. etc.).  It seems to be a trend. Jasmine’s staff are saying that she’s the “boss from hell” who “terrorizes them.” Remember that Kamala had a constant avalanche of staffers abandoning her ship for years. Crockett appears to be the same kind of twisted diva." . . .
“Who could have possibly guessed that Crockett is not only insufferable, but she’s also incredibly lazy. There were just no[t] signs. But really, this is exactly what you’d expect from someone who is such a loudmouth in public. The vulgarity and constant dramatics aren’t the kind of thing thworse when the cameras are off.

For example, Crockett makes her staffers rent an “Escalade” to transport her to and from hearings and votes at the Capitol Building. Whichever unlucky staffer picks her up is then forced to act like a chauffeur, standing by the vehicle and then driving her around like she’s royalty.” Red State

. . . "For those of you unfamiliar with an Escalade – it’s an expensive Cadillac SUV. Expensive is the operative word. They can run as high as $148,000 USED.   They can rent anywhere from $150-$400.  Of course, Ms. Diva the Boss from Hell can afford it."
So there you have it.  She’s not just vile, or a ranting diva, she’s also the “boss from hell.” She made fun of a Governor in a wheelchair, called Trump every name in the book like “Temu Hitler” and other things. She treats her staff as badly as she treats the American people – and she thinks she’s smarter than everyone else. She’s not, by the way.

Adam Schiff may be in serious trouble in a case that should be easy to prove -

 Andrea Widburg; American Thinker

"Nevertheless, I would suggest that anyone whom Schiff defamed on the floor of the House immediately look into filing a defamation suit against him."

. . . "Back in May, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (“FHFA”) sent a referral letter to AG Pam Bondi, accusing Schiff of wrongdoing:

Mr. Schiff appears to have falsified records in order to receive favorable loan terms, and also appears to have been aware of the financial benefits of a primary residence mortgage when compared to a secondary residence mortgage as a spokesperson in 2023 told the media outlet CNN that, “Adam’s California and Maryland addresses have been listed as primary residences for loan purposes because they are both occupied throughout the year and to distinguish them from a vacation property.”

. . ."For the record, for mortgage purposes, the law doesn’t care how you use your property. However, you will get better mortgage rates only for the one property you designate as your primary residence.

"According to the FHFA referral, what Schiff did, while it might have made good sense to him financially, could have constituted a criminal act:" . . .

. . . "Nevertheless, I would suggest that anyone whom Schiff defamed on the floor of the House immediately look into filing a defamation suit against him. That’s because Schiff’s statements will retroactively have lost the protections granted congressmen under the Speech and Debate clause (Art I, Sec. 6, Cl. 1). It sure would be fun to see Schiff face one or more multimillion dollar defamation suits—and if I were the plaintiff’s lawyer, I would argue that any statute of limitations only started running at the moment it was discovered that Schiff’s tenure in the House was a fraud."

VDH: Why DEI was already dying

 Victor Davis Hanson

"Fourth, does the word "minority" still carry any currency? In today's California, the demography breaks down as 40% Latino, 34% White, 16% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 6% Black, and 3% Other — with no significant majority and whites fewer than the Latino "minority.' "

"President Donald Trump's executive orders banning Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI)-related racial and gender preferencing have ostensibly doomed the DEI industry.
"But DEI was already on its last legs. Half of all Americans no longer approve of racial, ethnic, or gender preferences.
"DEI had enjoyed a surge following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent 120 days of nonstop rioting, arson, assaults, killings, and attacks on law enforcement during the summer of 2020.
"In those chaotic years, DEI was seen as the answer to racial tensions.
"DEI had insidiously replaced the old notion of affirmative action — a 1960s-era government remedy for historical prejudices against black Americans, from the legacy of slavery to Jim Crow segregation.
"But during the Obama era, "diversity" superseded affirmative action by offering preferences to many groups well beyond black Americans.
"Quite abruptly, Americans began talking in Marxist binaries.
"On one side were the supposed 65–70 percent white majority "oppressors" and "victimizers" — often stereotyped as exuding "white privilege," "white supremacy," or even "white rage."
"They were juxtaposed to the 25–30% of "diverse" Americans, the so-called "oppressed" and "victimized."
"Yet almost immediately, contradictions and hypocrisies undermined DEI.
"First, how does one define "diverse" in an increasingly multiracial, intermarried, assimilated, and integrated society?
"DNA badges?
"The old one-drop rule of the antebellum South?
"Superficial appearance?" . . .

. . . "The Democratic Party is collapsing in a cesspool of its own creation. "

" — and interacting only with liberal friends and co-workers, they live in a self-affirming information bubble that distorts reality to enforce a narrative that Democrats are good and Republicans are evil."

AfterMath - Home

Democrats are now the 'party of evil,' and we have seen this evil even back in 2019

. . . "Gangs of progressive screamers showing up in restaurants to publicly harass Republican officials or politicians? The left-wing media say they are not really “mobs.”They’re principled, youthful protestors trying to build a kinder, gentler, socialist world for every American who’s not rich enough to buy their own car."

COLUMN: New book details why Democrats have become dangerous | Opinion | gazette.com . . . "Sadly, many Democratic voters don’t understand how dangerous their leadership has become, getting their news exclusively from left-leaning sources — The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NPR, MSNBC, social media, etc. — and interacting only with liberal friends and co-workers, they live in a self-affirming information bubble that distorts reality to enforce a narrative that Democrats are good and Republicans are evil." . . .

. . . " A major initiative of the Democratic Party was stacking universities with left-leaning professors. In the 1960s, many bright and affluent students in elite universities avoided the Vietnam era draft by staying in school to earn post-graduate degrees. They tended to be anti-war Democrats. Many chose university teaching careers to influence the next generation of students and ultimately controlled which faculty members were hired and who would receive tenure. Today, university professors are overwhelmingly Democrats who advocate for extreme liberal philosophies and policies and actively disparage and suppress conservative ideas.

"Once established at the university level, Democrats were positioned to influence ensuing generations of K-12 public-school teachers who then passionately advocated for liberal ideas and social policies. Today, class [curricula] are peppered with liberal propaganda, our public schools are controlled by Democrats and will be for decades. With control of public schools, they influence and indoctrinate children. Given the political leanings of its members who overwhelmingly vote for Democrats, the major teacher unions are megaphones for the Democratic Party. The Democrats they elect return the favor with lucrative salaries, benefits, and pensions for their members … Mike Rosen book review

Why the Democrats Are in Such a Terrible State   . . . "Why are the Democrats floundering so badly? There are several reasons, all interrelated: First and foremost, the Democrats have held too much power across too many industries (politics, the media, the entertainment industry, academia) for too long.

"As often happens, they abused that power: manipulating the electoral process, weaponizing the justice system to go after political opponents, censoring dissenting voices in traditional and social media, poisoning education and entertainment with "woke" garbage, and lying to the public." . . .

. . . "This is not to lay all the blame at the feet of Democrats. To the contrary, they have been aided and abetted by Republicans, some of whom so desperately crave press approval that they capitulate on every important issue."

Dems, Media Richly Deserve Their Dismal Ratings | The American Spectator

"Anyone old enough to have watched the original Star Wars film on the big screen will clearly remember the scene in which Obi-Wan Kenobi advises Luke Skywalker that the Mos Eisley settlement is “a wretched hive of scum and villainy.” According to a new Wall Street Journal poll, this is very much the way most voters view the Democratic Party. Specifically, the survey found that 63 percent of voters hold an unfavorable view of “the Party of Jefferson and Jackson.” Considering the absurd antics to which voters have been subjected by these people, it’s remarkable that their numbers aren’t worse." . . .

It has long been blindingly obvious to any objective observer that the majority of “mainstream news outlets” collude with the Democrats to create political narratives to benefit the latter. Conversely, these same news organizations routinely slant their coverage of Republicans in a way that is both dishonest and openly hostile.

Progressive Don Quixotes: Tilting At Windfarms

 Legal Insurrection

"And the wind doesn’t blow all the time… Where do you store solar or wind energy? No such mass-storage system exists… All of them require backup. And guess what the go-to back-up is: fossil fuel."

. . . "Trump recently warned EU leaders that the rapidly proliferating windfarms are ecologically and economically detrimental, in addition to being an aesthetic disaster, spoiling Europe’s magnificent beauty. Unsurprisingly, mainstream leftist media exploded with mockery and attacks, comparing Trump’s advice to Don Quixote’s futile tilting at windmills.

"Don Quixote’s windmills happened to be imaginary monsters, yet he was uncannily prescient, as today’s windfarms are a real and present danger. The giant turbines that currently disfigure our landscapes and seascapes waste fertile land and ocean space. They harm whales and annually kill hundreds of thousands of birds, including bald and golden eagles, burrowing owls, and migratory birds and bats. They are prohibitively expensive and perilously unreliable. Alex Epstein, a renowned expert on energy and economics, explains:

Yes, the sun is free. Yes, wind is free. But the process of turning sunlight and wind into useable energy on a mass scale is far from free. In fact, compared to the other sources of energy – fossil fuels, nuclear power, and hydroelectric power, solar and wind power are very expensive.

The basic problem is that sunlight and wind as energy sources are both weak (the more technical term is dilute) and unreliable (the more technical term is intermittent). It takes a lot of resources to collect and concentrate them, and even more resources to make them available on-demand…

For wind, needed materials include high-performance compounds for turbine blades and the rare-earth metal neodymium for lightweight, specialty magnets, as well as the steel and concrete necessary to build structures – thousands of them – as tall as skyscrapers…    More...

Trump Cancels Giant Biden-Era Wind Energy Boondoggle   . . ."Not only are these windmills big and ugly, but they also kill so many hawks, eagles, and other large birds that the federal government is reluctant to release numbers. The primary problem, though, as always, remains energy density. Wind power suffers from the standard problems in "green" energy; it is intermittent, it is unreliable, and it comes with only a fraction of the energy density of traditional fuels. If these installations were economically feasible, they wouldn't require subsidies; that plants like the proposed Lava Ridge Wind Project never seem to be privately funded speaks volumes." . . .

DC Has Had Its Chance to Self-Govern. It Failed. Enough Already.

It’s time for America to reclaim its principal city as the jewel it was designed to be.

Pat Cross Cartoons

"On Monday, a crime that would be shocking in most of America happened in Washington, D.C.

"That crime, where it occurred, wasn’t shocking at all. And this fact should create consequences that Americans from Maine to Hawaii ought to be proud of.

"Edward Coristine isn’t quite 20 years old, but he’s nonetheless a famous figure. Coristine is known by his alias, “Big Balls.” He’s a college student and programmer formerly appointed to the Department of Government Efficiency, but he’s now a permanent federal employee. Coristine held the title of senior advisor at the highest pay grade (GS-15) in the General Services Administration and then moved on to a job working for the Social Security Administration.

"But on Monday his eventful life took a frightful turn, as he stepped in to protect a woman targeted by a group of animals on a D.C. street bent on carjacking her. She managed to get to safety inside the locked vehicle; Coristine was beaten severely by the would-be carjacker.

"This incident was notable only because it happened to someone in the public eye. Violent crime in Washington, D.C., especially that perpetrated by feral youths with zero fear of prosecution or incarceration, is off the scale.

"Consider that the current murder rate in Washington, D.C., is 41 per 100,000. That’s almost the highest in the world; it’s rivaled only by places like Caracas, Guatemala City, and Pretoria among international capitals. A murder rate more than four times higher than Mexico City, three times higher than Bogota, and at least 20 times higher than any of the capitals of major countries in Asia or Europe is utterly unacceptable.

"Property crime in Washington, D.C., is every bit as horrific. The police don’t even investigate muggings. Car thefts are mostly just reported to the insurance company.

"The last time I was in Washington I was walking around and ducked into a Five Guys for a quick lunch. $28 later I was nearly in a fistfight with an aggressive panhandler who came into the restaurant to demand that I buy him a meal. None of the employees did anything; they certainly didn’t bother calling the police. When I told a few Washingtonian friends about the incident, the response was “be glad it was lunchtime; it would have been a lot worse at night.”

"You don’t walk the streets of Washington, D.C., at night.

"Washington is a place where the local government thinks it’s a good idea to paint rainbow flags on all the crosswalks and essentially turn the police into lawn ornaments. Unless someone should deface those crosswalks, of course.

"In 2020, a mob of rioters burned a church near the White House and so threatened the presidential residence that Donald Trump was moved into the basement by the Secret Service. The reaction of the local government? Not a crackdown. Instead, they turned 16th Street NW, just a few blocks away, into Black Lives Matter Plaza, complete with garish yellow “BLACK LIVES MATTER” paint in the middle of a tourist area, and didn’t take it down for almost five years until the returning Trump administration began threatening to pull federal funding." . . .

Democrats rule California; how have they done with DC?

Elon Musk Urges Donald Trump to Federalize DC Over Injured DOGE Worker - Newsweek

"The president also [referred to] the incident during his remarks on Tuesday at the White House: "Somebody from DOGE was very badly hurt last night. A young man who was beat up by a bunch of thugs from DC. They're either going to straighten their act out, in terms of government and protection, or we're going to have to federalize and run it the way it's supposed to be run."

"Billionaire Elon Musk said Tuesday that it's "time to federalize DC" after President Donald Trump suggested the same threat while spotlighting a recent crime in Washington that allegedly involved a member of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)

"Musk posted on X, "A few days ago, a gang of about a dozen young men tried to assault a woman in her car at night in DC. A @Doge team member saw what was happening, ran to defend her and was severely beaten to the point of concussion, but he saved her. It is time to federalize DC."

"Earlier Tuesday, Trump posted on Truth Social, that he would "federalize this city" while talking about crime in the nation's capital. He also included a photo of the alleged DOGE worker, who was cut, bruised and bloodied and sitting beside a white van." . . .

“99 homicides. Carjackings up 111%. D.C. teens beat a White House intern—and I can’t even charge them. They’re coddled. This ends now.” — @JudgeJeanine

Get woke, go broke: Howard Stern’s $500M fall from relevance

 Joseph Ford Cotto

"In that same year, Stern intensified his attacks on Donald Trump and his supporters, going so far as to declare that he “despised” the people who had once packed his fanbase."

"Howard Stern didn’t just have a radio show. He had a revolution. He was brash, vulgar, and fearless. He gave voice to the silenced, told dirty jokes with conviction, and turned a microphone into a battering ram against establishment sanctimony. But somewhere along the line, the rebel became the regime." . . .

. . . "Today, some fans and former staff estimate his listenership hovers around 125,000 daily. This is a far cry from the 20 million he once commanded during his terrestrial radio peak. Put another way, he gets only 0.625% of his glory days’ audience. SiriusXM hasn’t released formal figures, and they probably never will. The number itself is less important than the arc it represents.

"This isn’t just about one man’s career unraveling. It’s about the consequences of abandoning authenticity to win elite approval. Howard Stern didn’t fade because the times changed. He faded because his change stretched beyond what his fans could believe in.

"Stern mocked the powerful, then hoped for their approval. He championed rebellion; then, in his defining moment, became a mouthpiece for the status quo. He gave a voice to the voiceless, only to fundamentally transform his persona by disrespecting the people who powered his rise.

"In doing so, he squandered not just his audience, but his legacy." . . .

Keir Starmer and the fall of Britain

Civis Americanus

Next time, Britons, try voting Conservative while you still have a country and British rather than sharia law.

When Hamas visits your children

"Britain’s prime minister, Keir Starmer, is a poster child for the adage that friends don’t let friends vote Labor, as shown by his proposal to reward Hamas terrorists by recognizing a Palestinian state.  He apparently never heard the principle well known among military officers, which is to never give an order you know will not be obeyed.  What does Starmer do when, after he recognizes his terrorist state, Israel responds by annexing Gaza, Judea, and Samaria?

How England Defrauded the Jews, Arabs, and French Combined

"Not only Israel, but also Jordan could argue strongly that a new Palestinian state should be carved out of English territory, in Britain itself if none of its remaining colonies is suitable.  This could be achieved by Israel giving the “Palestinians” free one-way tickets to London.  An incentive for Palestinian emigration to the U.K. is the fact that Britons are not permitted to own weapons for self-defense, which means the males are free to regard British women as “uncovered meat” that they are free to take whenever they want — in contrast to American small towns, where there are more pew-pews than people." . . .
