What New York City Has to Look Forward To

 Townhall

"My guess is his commitment to Marxism is far greater than his commitment to Islam, but maybe not. Maybe he will try to turn NYC into a Muslim Mecca. It wouldn't surprise me." . . .

"New York City, of course, recently elected a "Marxist Muslim" as mayor of the city. How much of either (Marxism or Islam) Zohran Mamdani will be able to impose upon the city is yet to be determined, but that is what he calls himself. Marxism, as I shall demonstrate, is an all-encompassing world philosophy, but its main emphasis is on economics—socialism. Let's look at what the people of New York City have to look forward to if Mamdani gets his Marxist way.

The Abolition of Private Property

"The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property." It's the first point of Marx's "Communist Manifesto," and Mamdani said he believes it. Of course, what Marx and communists actually mean is "private property for me, but not for thee." Do you think Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) is going to sacrifice his three houses, or Ben and Jerry will give their land back to Native Americans?

"Communism always has a "ruling class" ("nomenklatura"), and they do just fine, economically, thank you very much, with their lovely dachas in the countryside and new cars the peasants could never afford. Abolition of private property might be difficult for Mamdani in rich New York, but we'll see how he does.

The Destruction of Religion

"My object is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism." "Communism begins where atheism begins." "The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion." All these quotes are from Marx and present an interesting paradox for Mamdani, supposedly a devout Muslim. Is Allah pleased with Marx's denunciation of a God? Does Mamdani believe in Islam and Marxian economics? How is he going to divide it up? My guess is his commitment to Marxism is far greater than his commitment to Islam, but maybe not. Maybe he will try to turn NYC into a Muslim Mecca. It wouldn't surprise me." . . .

Business Mogul ABANDONS New York Over Zohran Mamdani As Residents FLEE to Red States!   "New York City is officially in trouble. As Zohran Mamdani prepares to take over as the next mayor, major businesses are already pulling out, canceling expansion plans, and warning that NYC is becoming completely hostile to investment. And they’re not alone — longtime residents are packing up and heading straight to red states in search of lower taxes, safer streets, and real economic opportunity."

"Seize the building? When was the last time anything became better when the govt took over? . History repeats itself. Nothing new under the sun. This will fail and it will teach the youth that Communism DOESNT WORK! If you have a slumlord here’s one thing you can do. Move out and bankrupt them. Leave bad reviews so they can’t get business. They will be forced to sell to a proper landlord. That’s how it works!"

We hear those same youthful, girlish voices cheering Mamdani that we heard in Kamala and Jasmine Crockett rallies, pro-Hamas rallies, and anti-Trump demonstrations. TD

Emails Between Kathryn Ruemmler and Jeffrey Epstein Resurface – Highlighting Again, Zero Epstein Dirt on Trump

The Conservative Treehouse   "In an effort to further create friction and division amid the base of support for President Trump, emails previously released to congress are resurfacing – including emails between Kathryn Ruemmler, Obama’s former White House Counsel, and Jeffrey Epstein.  The UniParty players are pushing this narrative hard.

However, in fact, this is an old story going back to 2023 when the connections between then CIA Director William Burns, Kathryn Ruemmler and Jeffrey Epstein were previously released to the public {SEE HERE}. However, amid the new effort to stir up friction, the Ruemmler-Epstein emails are being talked about again.  Example Below:

"As noted before by the Wall Street Journal, “Kathryn Ruemmler, a White House counsel under President Barack Obama, had dozens of meetings with Epstein in the years after her White House service and before she became a top lawyer at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. He also planned for her to join a 2015 trip to Paris and a 2017 visit to Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean.

The email above is from August 2018, approximately six months after Ruemmler, who represented former National Security Advisor Susan Rice, lied to Senate Judiciary Committee about Rice’s knowledge of the FBI opening an investigation of President Trump in 2016.

Wall Street Journal 2023 – […] The documents show that Epstein appeared to know some of his guests well. He asked for avocado sushi rolls to be on hand when meeting with Ms. Ruemmler, according to the documents. He visited apartments she was considering buying. In October 2014, Epstein knew her travel plans and told an assistant to look into her flight. “See if there is a first-class seat,” he wrote, “if so upgrade her.”

[…] Epstein and his staff discussed whether Ms. Ruemmler, now 52, would be uncomfortable with the presence of young women who worked as assistants and staffers at the townhouse, the documents show. Women emailed Epstein on two occasions to ask if they should avoid the home while Ms. Ruemmler was there. Epstein told one of the women he didn’t want her around, and another that it wasn’t a problem, the documents show.

Ms. Ruemmler didn’t see anything that would lead her to be concerned at the townhouse and didn’t express any concern, the Goldman spokesman said.

[…] Over the next few years, Ms. Ruemmler, then a partner specializing in white-collar defense at Latham & Watkins, had more than three dozen appointments with Epstein, including for lunches and dinners." . . .

. . . "If Epstein had any dirt on President Trump, Kathryn Ruemmler would be the primary person who would use that information against Donald Trump politically, especially because of Ruemmler’s relationship with President Obama and Susan Rice.  If there was anything against Trump in the Epstein mess, it would have been deployed to the benefit of Hillary Clinton in 2016."...

Court reveals Bryan Kohberger’s jail windfall — and orders him to pay victims' parents

 AOL

"Jim Leonard, a New Jersey-based defense attorney whose clients have included "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, called Kohberger's $28,000 in donations "offensive on every level" but said the victims' families could sue him civilly to block him from profiting off the crime." . . .

"An Idaho court revealed convicted murderer Bryan Kohberger received tens of thousands of dollars in donations while his case dragged on Thursday, three years to the day after the former criminology Ph.D. student killed four undergrads in a 4 a.m. home invasion stabbing spree.
" 'State's Exhibit 3, filed with its reply brief, demonstrates that Defendant received several hundred donations totaling $28,360.96 while incarcerated at the Latah County and Ada County jails," Judge Steven Hippler wrote. "According to defense counsel, many of these donations came from Defendant's family members." . . .
"A specific breakdown showing the source of the funding was not released by the court. Kohberger's parents declared bankruptcy twice previously, in the mid-1990s and again in 2010, court records show." . . .
"Hippler said some of the additional funds were outside the terms of the plea deal, but he ordered Kohberger to pay Goncalves' parents and Mogen's mother roughly $3,000 to split — $1,420 to the Goncalves family and $1,587.79 to Karen Laramie. The sums also carry a 9.125% annual interest rate.
"He also found that Kohberger's defense team was wrong about their claim that he would not be able to profit from future media deals under Idaho's version of the "Son of Sam" law, which requires him to put any earnings in an escrow account so that the victims' families have a chance to collect restitution or damages before he can profit."

UPDATED: Michelle Obama Is an Insufferable Racist

 Matt Margolis

Michelle Obama doesn’t know what unfair scrutiny is. She wouldn’t be able to tolerate a fraction of the scrutiny that the Trump family had to endure daily. Reporters attacked Melania for everything from her shoes to her accent.

"Would you believe that in the entirety of human history, no one has been oppressed as much as Michelle Obama? It’s true. Whenever she gets in front of a microphone, she can’t help but complain about how unfairly she’s been treated, how terrible white people are, or how racist our country is. She paints herself as chronically oppressed, endlessly scrutinized, and forever burdened by a country that never treated her fairly. I know it must not be easy having fame, fortune, a bunch of multimillion-dollar homes, and all that. It must be really, really brutal. The routine has become predictable, and her latest appearances only reinforce the sense that she carries a deep resentment toward white America, while insisting she’s the one who never got a fair shake.

"Last month, in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts to promote her new book, she literally had the gall to claim that people unfairly scrutinized her while she was in the White House. Roberts began by quoting Michelle’s own words.

“ 'You said, ‘We were all too aware that as the first black couple, we couldn’t afford any missteps.’ And you also say that as a black woman, ‘I was under a particularly white hot glare.’ Did you feel that?”

“ 'For sure,” Michelle replied. “You can’t afford to get anything wrong because you didn’t get the, and at least until the country got to know us, we didn’t get the grace that I think some other families have gotten.”

"Anyone who lived through the Obama years remembers the media environment. The media swooned over Barack’s speeches and treated Michelle like a cross between a fashion icon and a national therapist. Editors placed them on magazine covers every time they could justify it. Journalists fawned over Barack’s wardrobe, his aura, and even the crease in his pants, all while ignoring scandal after scandal after scandal. But, yeah, sure, let’s talk about how they were held to some fantasy standard that no first couple ever had to meet before or since."... More....

It is such an injustice if people like Michelle have to pay the price for actions of people like these:

Michelle Obama Lashes Out At White People During Interview For New Book

“Let me explain something to white people!” Obama said.

“ 'Our hair comes out of our head naturally in a curly pattern, so when we’re straightening it to follow your beauty standards, we are trapped by the straightness!” she claimed.

"She continued to list a slew of restrictions she believed black people faced.

“That’s why so many of us can’t swim!” Obama said.

“ 'And we run away from the water — people won’t go to the gym, because we’re trying to keep our hair straight for y’all. It is exhausting, and it’s so expensive and it takes up so much time!” . . .

UPDATE: Michelle Obama Gets Brutally Mocked for Wacky Remark

Michelle Obama sent the Internet into hysterics on Friday night with an incredibly bizarre racial rant during an interview. . . .

. . . :"A recent survey conducted by an advanced digital algorithm conclusively determined that the most oppressed person in the history of the world is, without a doubt, Michelle Obama.
"The algorithm searched infinite points of data and scanned millions of stories of human suffering and determined definitively that Michelle Obama has been oppressed more than any other living human.
" 'It's amazing, really," data scientist Mark Tungston said. "Mrs. Obama doesn't seem like the most oppressed person ever, but after analyzing the data, it's clear she is. You'd think it was a coal miner in Appalachia or a child slave in Africa, but nope, it's the woman who had to wear dresses off the rack to attend state dinners when she was First Lady.' Fed Study Vindicates Trump Trade Policy

                                                                        Rich Terrell

"A sweeping new analysis of tariff policy spanning 150 years suggests that the economic establishment may have fundamentally misunderstood how tariffs affect prices and employment, a finding with profound implications for understanding President Donald Trump’s trade policy and the proper response by the Federal Reserve." . . .
"Using a standard economic model, researchers estimated the effect of tariff shocks on inflation and unemployment. A roughly 4 percentage point increase in average tariffs lowered inflation by about 2 percentage points while raising unemployment by about 1 percentage point, they found."

Argus Hamilton's Rogue Report

Jewish World Review

"• Universal Studio is planning to stage a London premiere for the Michael Jackson biopic next April with a performance by a Michael Jackson hologram. The movie casting is spot-on. Kevin Hart will portray the younger Michael Jackson and the older Michael Jackson will be played by Liza Minnelli.
The Los Angeles Olympic Committee is reportedly set to ban transgender women from competing in women's sports in the 2028 Olympic Games. In women's swimming races, transgender women have a very unfair advantage. They're able to swim much faster in the water because they have a rudder.
New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdan is preparing to take office on New Year's Day. He's planning a religious New Year's Eve gala for his Muslim brothers. Instead of a glitter ball dropping from the One Times Square skyscraper he's going to throw Anderson Cooper off the roof of the building.
The Women of the View ripped Republicans Friday for shutting down the government then ripped Democrats Monday for opening the government up. I just hope we can delay the civil war until after the Super Bowl. The latest poll says 50% of Americans believe the other 50% have lost their minds.
Congresswoman AOC demanded that Senator Schumer step down as Senate Minority Leader Tuesday. House Democrats say Schumer can't control his Caucus. Well, Bill Clinton, Jack Kennedy and Donald Trump couldn't control their Caucuses either, but that didn't keep them from getting elected.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy assured holiday travelers that flight restrictions will ease once all the air traffic controllers return. Nevertheless thousands of flights will still be cancelled over the next three weeks. This could be the most peaceful Thanksgiving we've had since the Pilgrims landed.
GOP Senator Ron Johnson quoted an anonymous Democratic House staffer who'd warned the shutdown will continue until planes start falling out of the sky. Well, that certainly didn't require a shutdown to happen. Last week I set my phone on Boeing airplane mode, and now it drops all my calls.
The Supreme Court heard arguments over a president's power vs. Congress's power to impose tariffs. We're so blessed. The Founders created the Supreme Court to make sure the president can never hurt the country then they created Congress to make sure the president can never help the country.
President Trump enjoyed himself Sunday attending the Washington Commanders home game and talking football in the Fox booth. He's finding it harder and harder to relax. Trump has to spend three-fourths of his time on the golf course doing something he hates to do, reading obscene sky-writing.
President Trump welcomed Syria's president Ahmad al-Sharaa to the White House Monday who had once been a member of ISIS. He's the fifth Oval Office visitor in history with a previous international reputation as a terrorist, after Yassar Arafat, Nelson Mandela and Joe Biden's two dogs.
Syria's President Ahmad al-Sharaa, formerly on the U.S. terrorist list, was granted a visit to the White House Monday to discuss joint anti-ISIS cooperation. Ahmad revealed Syria produces 3 million barrels of oil a day. He was really smart to wait until Dick Cheney died before making it public.
Berlin's Olympic Stadium hosted the first-ever NFL game in Germany Sunday. A quartet sang the German national anthem. Under the 1945 peace terms, it's not allowed to be sung by more than four Germans at the same time for the same reason I'm not allowed to go get the beers. It's still too soon."

Victor Davis Hanson: Michelle Obama’s ‘Whining Tour’ and the Obamas' Oppression Myth Exposed

The Daily Signal

"From Michelle’s “Vogue” covers to her lavish estates, Victor Davis Hanson questioned the victimhood narrative being perpetuated by America's most privileged elites on last week’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words:”

“You did whatever you wanted, and yet now you [complain], and now you're worth probably over a hundred million dollars.-- Life is so hard on you because you have a beach estate in Hawaii that you built. Contrary to many environmental regulations, you have an abode on Martha's Vineyard.  So both of you have nothing to complain about. There are millions of people in America—Indian, Hispanic, Black, and White—who would die to have the opportunities that you have.--There are ups, and there are downs, and we've all suffered ups and downs. DEI—that's why it's such a pernicious ideology, because you can translate any personal unhappiness into a cosmic ism or ology against you; on this Marxist binary you're on.”

Gavin Newsom Blames Climate Change for Slow Rebuild of Pacific Palisades

  Amy Curtis; Townhall

Everything this man  does makes beautiful California a worse state to live in. TD

. . . "He has a way of saying a lot without saying anything.

"In January, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) cited years of intentional, politics-driven mismanagement as the reason wildfires are so extreme in the state:

California, the most-taxed state in the nation, boasts unparalleled financial resources. Yet, despite its wealth, the state continues to fail its residents by neglecting the most basic measures needed to protect them from devastating wildfires. Poor water management, bureaucratic resistance to wildfire remediation efforts, and misplaced spending priorities have left Californians vulnerable to disasters that are both predictable and preventable.

With the largest economy of any U.S. state, California has no shortage of financial resources. In 2024, Governor Gavin Newsom announced an unexpected $16.5 billion budget surplus. Yet, instead of prioritizing wildfire prevention, the administration cut the CAL FIRE resource management budget by 50%, reducing funding for critical forest and wildfire resilience programs. This shortfall forces firefighters to contend with overgrown forests and unchecked underbrush that act as kindling for the state’s now-annual infernos.

"Additionally, California politicians, rather than climate change, have made it difficult for insurance companies to raise rates in response to natural disasters — the same ones that Democrats, such as Gavin Newsom, exacerbate by failing to implement basic wildfire mitigation measures. Even the state insurance plan is feeling the strain.". . .  More...

Humiliated Dems Forced to Delete Latest False Claim About Epstein and Trump

 RedState

"If the Democrat party were capable of feeling any level of shame, they must surely go home at night, look themselves in the mirror, then curl up in the fetal position on the floor, riddled with embarrassment. But we all know they don't feel shame." . . .

Democrats were left with a heaping helping of egg on their face after another attempt to link President Trump to Jeffrey Epstein failed, forcing them to scramble to delete the flimsy "evidence" involving their latest baseless claim.

The Democratic National Committee's official X account on Thursday posted and then quickly deleted a claim alleging the President spent Thanksgiving 2017 with Jeffrey Epstein.

Using incredibly out-of-context emails, the DNC made it clear that they were offering evidence that "documents show Donald Trump spent Thanksgiving with Jeffrey Epstein in 2017."

Whoever pushed out that message clearly struggles with reading comprehension and didn't for a moment wonder about the plausibility of the leader of the free world sneaking out of Turkey Day celebrations to pal around with a convicted sex offender for a few hours ... without anybody noticing." . . . Parallels abound between the governance of California and Iran

Bill Ponton

"Iran has also followed a path of ideologically-driven destruction like the one that California took. With the revenues from oil, Iran made giant strides toward modernity during the Shah’s reign. However, that changed after a murderous theocracy took power. When eradicating the state of Israel and killing all the Jews becomes your most important goal, it does not leave much time for fulfilling the basic needs of your people."

"Parallels abound between the governance of Iran and California over the last half century. To start with, both the government of Iran and California were taken over by ideologues in the late 1970s. In California, the takeover occurred during Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown’s tenure. In Iran, it was Ayatollah Khomeini’s ascendancy to power during the revolt against the Shah.

"Governor Jerry Brown, affectionately called “Moonbeam” by his girlfriend, singer Linda Ronstadt, epitomized the spirit of Californian progressiveness. It started with a hippie back-to-earth vibe mixed with a liberal dose of Hollywood (and later Silicon Valley) celebrity hobnobbing. This ‘70s psychobabble has continued unbroken for fifty years to the present-day administration of Brown’s smarmy heir, Governor Gavin “French Laundry” Newsom. The only difference being that it is more pronounced with a bend toward transgenderism and diversity.

"Prior to 1970, the Californian political persuasion was predominately conservative and focused on the business of providing Californians with the services needed to live in a landscape that required large-scale engineering to make it habitable. Dams and aqueducts had to be expanded and maintained to provide Californians, especially in the southern part of the state, with the water that they needed.

"With the takeover by progressives, neglect of water infrastructure by state government became acute. Californians and their legislators became distracted with the quest for an environmental utopia. Restoring the smelt population, building high-speed rail transit to nowhere, and pursuing an expensive energy transition to net-zero became the focus. The more mundane needs of Californians for affordable, reliable, and plentiful electricity, water, and transportation were ignored.  It is not a coincidence that a large section of Los Angeles burnt to the ground from a lack of adequate water pressure, while the mayor was off getting in touch with her African roots. Obsession with ideology is the root cause of the decline in the efficacy of public services in California." . . .  More...

Zohran Mamdani, Pied Piper of the Big Apple

"Even the most marginally inequitable environmental encounters are typically viewed as social injustices or personal threats (microaggressions, triggers, hate speech). Such encounters are cast exclusively as manifestations of racism, sexism, or capitalistic greed imposed upon the oppressed by the oppressors." JAF

Zohran Mamdani, Pied Piper of the Big Apple   . . . "And if all goes well, NY could replace California as the bellwether of national politics. All the left needs to do is to continue expanding the ranks of the “disenfranchised” by simultaneously raising their expectations and their grievances.  Just keep telling them what they want to hear — saves them the trouble of thinking.

"Critical thinking 101 needs to be made a mandatory academic requirement."

Designer scarf-clad but unknowledgeable street people who can be manipulated to believe Israel was the evil one on that terrible October 7th are those easily led to follow Jew-haters such as Mamdani. If this faction has a Dietrich Bonhoeffer among them I see no trace.
