The Gen Z cheers for this guy sound like the same cheers one hears for Kamala, Antifa, Hamas, and pretty much every inane statement Whoopi, Joy, and Sunny make on "The View". TD
Newsom Does Davos . . . "Many Californians would say a walnut is too large. Newsom’s arrogance and ignorance are astounding. For instance, in 2025, on his podcast (because what else does the governor of the nation’s largest state have to do?), he said it was “deeply unfair” that boys were playing in girls’ sports when discussing the trans issue with the late Charlie Kirk.
"Newsom’s ignorance is overwhelming. He’s also strangled the state with his willingness to lie to fit whatever narrative he wants the leftist press to report. Still, he can’t hide from how the state went from a huge surplus to a budget shortfall during his tenure. In 2019, his first year in Sacramento, there was a $21.4 billion budget surplus. His latest budget will have at least an $18 billion deficit. Maybe Newsom should take some economic classes at a Minneapolis Learing center." . . .
"Gavin Newsom is currently the Democrat Party’s leading presidential candidate for 2028. Those who like homeless drug addicts living on their street, thugs robbing them while shopping, fire hydrants without water, billion-dollar high-speed trains going nowhere, taxes raping their paycheck, and illegal aliens getting benefits citizens can’t afford will enthusiastically shout, “Patrick Bateman for President in 2028!' ” . . . 'Sparkle Beach Ken' Is Too Kind To Gavin Newsom
The California governor, widely expected to run for president in 2028 after he terms out of office this year, correctly figures that if he stays on offense, his own dismal record will be ignored — even if that offense is odd, off-putting, or oblique.
. . . "California Republican Party Chairwoman Corrin Rankin panned Newsom’s speech, saying, “Governor Newsom told Californians that homelessness is down, crime is at record lows, schools are improving, and Los Angeles is recovering after the Palisades fires. (He) painted a picture of a California that exists in his imagination.” . . .
Do Californians Realize How Badly They’re Getting Ripped Off? – Issues & Insights . . . "Most of your leaders should be in jail, not winning reelection.
"It’s true that over the past four years, more than a million more people moved out of the state than moved in. But what about those who can’t or don’t want to leave?
"Why do you keep electing the same class of criminals to steal your money?
"I think part of the problem is that Californians don’t know how badly they’re getting screwed, because, while everyone knows which restaurants are worth the price, it’s not easy for average citizens to make direct comparisons between life in one state and another.
"I can leave the state just as easily as I came. But most can’t pick up and move. Nor should they have to. California is a beautiful state with enormous potential. Its citizens just need to refuse to pay Wolfgang Puck prices for Hamburglar-quality service."
How sad to consider all the above. Moving to California after discharge from the Marines, that state had its ducks all in a row; it was a perfect place for me to begin my civilian life and trade. Former Corporal Tunnel Dweller
