"After a widely-shared image showing hundreds of bodies piled up in a morgue in Tehran turned out to have been AI-generated, supporters of the Iranian regime have been using the picture to cast doubt on a real photo taken in the same morgue." . .

. . . "Our team was able to verify the authenticity of a number of different videos from the Kahrizak morgue, some filmed in the same courtyard where the woman in the photo is standing. These videos helped us confirm that the scene captured in the photo did take place. Other videos and photos taken from different angles also show that there were many bodies laid on the ground of the morgue’s courtyard.

In the upper left is the authentic photo of a young woman that pro-government accounts falsely claimed was AI-generated. The images to the bottom left and centre are screenshots taken from two videos filmed in the Kahrizak morgue. You can see the same wall (outlined in red) in all three images. At right is a satellite image of the morgue. The wall is outlined in red. A building that also appears in the photo of the young woman in mourning is outlined in blue in the satellite image. Marked in yellow is the chimney of one of the morgue’s buildings that appears in one of the videos. The star represents the location where the young woman is standing. The outlines were added by the FRANCE 24 Observers team.

"This footage allows us to establish that the image of the woman in mourning was indeed taken at the Kahrizak morgue. Using a satellite image of the morgue that was provided to our team by the satellite image company Vantor, as well as two verified videos filmed in the courtyard of the morgue, it is possible to establish where the young woman was standing: in front of the entrance to a large building with a red roof. A brown-and-beige wall appears in both videos and the photo. Moreover, a white building in the background of the photo of the young woman can be seen in the satellite image." . . . More...

The Women Who Would Not Kneel; As Iran’s regime wages war on its own daughters, the U.S. now faces a test that is both moral and strategic.

Presently, purple-haired, pierced semi-women in America hold their pre-printed, pre-planned professional posters in protest of our President's actions.

 The American Spectator

"During the Biden administration, I attended a small dinner with Iranian dissidents living in the United States. As they spoke, quietly, intensely, of a free Iran, I asked what they wanted most from American leadership.

Their answer was simple.

“ 'We do not want you to fight for us. We just want to know you will not abandon us when the time comes.”

"Earlier this year, tens of thousands poured into the streets across Iran in the most profound protest movement since the Iranian revolution in 1979. Many were women. (RELATED: Iran Is Not That Simple)

"The courage required is difficult to comprehend from a distance. Iranian women and girls stepped into public squares under a regime that has never concealed its capacity for cruelty toward them. For decades, they have lived with midnight arrestsendless interrogationsmurder carried out by morality police, and prisons that swallow dissent without a trace. Still, they chose to stand openly. (RELATED: Time to Stand With the People of Iran)

"What followed ranks among the most grotesque displays of state violence in recent memory.

"Accounts from detainees, families, and medical personnel describe women raped in custody, mutilated, and returned to their loved ones in conditions that defy comprehension. There are credible reports of uteruses removed, scalps taken, and bodies so desecrated that families were denied the chance to see or bury their dead. Some never received remains at all. In a system long accustomed to repression, these acts are meant to extinguish resistance and memory." . . .

These protesting Iranians remember too well Democrat President Obama's betrayal of their Green Revolution in 2009:

Barack Obama Is to Blame for Iran. Here’s Why.

Iran’s reign of terror finally faces the hammer of justice with Operation Epic Fury, proving Trump’s strength buries Obama’s shameful appeasement forever.

Had to keep his base happy.

"Americans woke up Saturday to something big. The United States and Israel launched a massive joint offensive against Iran’s regime, known as Operation Epic Fury. According to reports, targets included Iran’s supreme leader and president. Major combat operations are now underway, and the implications are global.

"Predictably, Democrats in Washington and even some Republicans are questioning the strikes. But let’s be honest — this moment was long overdue. Iran’s reign of terror didn’t start yesterday. In fact, this confrontation is the direct result of the Obama administration’s disastrous decision a decade ago to appease, enrich, and embolden Tehran.

"Barack Obama and his administration sold the world a fantasy with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly referred to as the Iran nuclear deal. This treaty was so bad that Obama didn’t even attempt to get the Senate to ratify it. He just pretended it wasn’t a treaty and signed it unilaterally, claiming it as a foreign policy victory for himself.

"In fact, Obama was so desperate to make the deal a defining foreign policy achievement of his presidency that the lies about the deal from the left have never stopped. He told us it was a historic diplomatic breakthrough that would block Iran’s path to nuclear weapons. In reality, it handed the mullahs a lifeline and a fortune. Sanctions were lifted. Tehran gained access to roughly $150 billion in frozen assets, and there was that infamous $1.7 billion in cash sent to the regime, much of it delivered on pallets in the middle of the night. Every step of the way, Obama was emboldening Iran, not containing it.

"It didn’t take long for Iran to show what a joke the deal really was. Just three months after signing the deal, Tehran test-fired ballistic missiles in open violation of U.N. resolutions. German intelligence later reported that Iran was still seeking technology for a military nuclear program. The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed repeated violations of material limits — all while Obama kept reassuring us that the agreement was “working.” Even he eventually admitted Iran was violating the “spirit” of the deal, and that was as close as he’d ever get to admitting that his deal was a sham." . . .  More...

Netanyahu: "The Era of Oppression Ends Today"

 JFeed

As Bibi once said, “Mr. President, Ladies and gentlemen, I didn’t intend to come here this year. My country is at war, fighting for its life."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivers a historic address as Operation Lion’s Roar begins. Announcing a joint U.S.-Israeli campaign to dismantle Iran’s nuclear ambitions and terror infrastructure, Netanyahu calls on the Iranian people to seize their destiny and overthrow the "yoke of tyranny" for a free, peaceful future.

"In a dramatic televised broadcast delivered this morning, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the citizens of both Israel and Iran, formally announcing the commencement of a joint military offensive with the United States to eliminate the Iranian existential threat.

"The Prime Minister began by expressing gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for his "historic leadership" in the mission, which Netanyahu identified as a turning point after decades of hostility. He noted that for 47 years, the Ayatollah regime has chanted "Death to Israel" and "Death to America," while spilling the blood of countless civilians and its own people.

"Netanyahu emphasized that a "murderous terror regime" must never be allowed to arm itself with nuclear weapons, as such a development would threaten all of humanity. He stated that the primary objective of the combined military action is to create the necessary conditions for the "brave Iranian people to take their fate into their own hands." . . .

"The 86-year-old cleric, who ruled Iran with an iron fist for nearly 37 years, was killed late Friday in an attack on his Tehran compound, according to Iranian state media, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Israeli officials.

"Videos circulating on social media show jubilant protesters in Tehran, Dehloran, and other locations pulling down massive monuments dedicated to Khamenei, stomping on portraits, and setting effigies ablaze. Chants of “freedom” and “death to the dictator” echoed through the streets, marking a dramatic shift from the regime’s tightly controlled narrative of mourning.

Iran's Regime Is an Unspeakable Evil, and These Protestors Support It

. . . "Here's the thing: There is no regime so horrible, no ruling despots so murderous, that some useful idiots in the United States and elsewhere in the modern world won't turn out to support them.

A coalition of organizations on Saturday have planned protests opposing the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran earlier in the day, with demonstrations planned across multiple cities.

“Trump’s unprovoked, illegal attack on Iran is an act of war that threatens to cause unthinkable death and destruction. But the people of this country reject another endless war and will take to the streets now and make our voices heard,” stated Action Coalition.

The coalition listed several emergency protests scheduled earlier in the day and into Saturday afternoon across several cities. These cities include Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City and more.

Six more protests will be held on Sunday in Albany, N.Y.; Ellensburg, Va.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Decorah, Iowa; Gainesville, Fla.; and Springfield, Mo.

"Unprovoked? Seriously? Iran has funded, trained, and equipped terrorists around the world." .

President Trump’s jaw-jaw has been a prelude to war-war with Iran

 Andrea Widburg - American Thinker

Trump hates war, but he understands that the mullahs are not interested in peace, and if there’s going to be war, it’ll be fast, powerful, and on Trump’s terms.

"Winston Churchill didn’t actually say that “jaw-jaw is better than war-war.” What he said was, “Meeting jaw to jaw is better than war,” a saying that became pithier over time. Either way, Churchill made clear that, while he never intended to be taken for a ride as Neville Chamberlain was in 1938 (although Chamberlain was struggling with the fact that Britain had no meaningful military at the time), he did recognize that war’s destruction should always be avoided, if possible.

"Donald Trump understands that, too. He has made it remarkably clear that he has no intention of becoming a “war president.” Indeed, he’s the only president in recent history who, to date, has not started a war. What he has done, all over the world, is to use his understanding of human psychology, along with America’s economic power, to stop wars.

"But Trump, like Churchill in 1938, also understands that there are certain wars that cannot be stopped. Instead, they must be confronted sooner because they’re only going to be worse later. That’s certainly the case with Iran. If Iran gets nuclear weapons, it will effectively hold the whole world hostage.

"The same fanatically religious government that slaughters its own people will not have a problem with unleashing nuclear Armageddon on its enemies. Indeed, the mullahs’ ideology leads them to embrace Armageddon.

Both Judaism and Christianity foresee an apocalyptic moment, but they’re not trying to hasten its arrival. What differs about the Iranian version is that Iran believes that its role is not simply to be a passive, albeit faithful, observer of the End of Days, which is how Christians and Jews approach the subject. Instead, it will trigger the End of Days." . . .  More...

Trump’s masterful statement about the attack on Iran;  Andrea Widburg

. . . "What I’m worried about is the home front. We know that the left will be hysterical in their defense of the cruel Iranian regime. We also know that many on the right will frame the war either as (1) an unnecessary defense of Israel, as if Iran hasn’t been waging unrelenting war against America and the West since 1979, a war that cannot be allowed to go nuclear, or as (2) an offense to the isolationist strain in the Republican party. Given those forces, it’s imperative that Trump make his case to the American people.

"Thankfully, in his first statement about the strike, I think he did make that case. It was a short and, to my mind, masterful statement." . . .

(You can read the full text here.)

Trump closed by telling the Iranian people that, finally, an American president listened to their cries for relief from this tyranny:

. . . "So let’s see how you respond. America is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force. Now is the time to seize control of your destiny and to unleash the prosperous and glorious future that is close within your reach.

"This is the moment for action. Do not let it pass.

The Democrat Party Represents Everybody but Americans

 J.B. Shurk - American Thinker

"How is it possible for Democrat members of Congress to be trusted with protecting our nation when they openly despise American patriotism and turn their backs on chants of “U-S-A”?"

"If there had been any confusion over what Democrats believe or whom the Democrat Party supports, this week has been clarifying.

"Susan Rice — the serial liar who falsely blamed the September 11, 2012, murder of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on an Internet video; weaponized Intelligence Community surveillance by illegally unmasking the names of Trump transition officials in 2016; and pushed the Russia Collusion Hoax for the last decade — went on a podcast to promise retribution for any American seen as bending the “knee to Trump.” The woman who ran Joe Biden’s White House explicitly promised that “this is not going to be an instance of forgive and forget” once Democrats retake power in Washington, D.C.

"This shouldn’t be a surprise. Barack Obama used the IRS to harass conservatives, and his “wingman” Eric Holder used the Patriot Act to spy on political opponents. During Joe Biden’s puppet presidency, the FBI and DOJ targeted pro-life Christians, Second Amendment supporters, parents concerned about the sexualization of their kids’ public school curricula, and anybody who could be linked to President Trump’s MAGA movement. Still, when Susan Rice is making such vocal threats eight months before the midterms, every Republican should sit up and take notice. Should Democrats reclaim power over the next two election cycles, they are going to make their abusive J6 mass incarceration look insignificant compared to the program of mass arrests and ritual humiliation they intend to unleash. The same 99%-Democrat grand juries that have shielded Democrats from criminal prosecution since Trump’s return to office will quickly sign-off on preposterous charges against every Republican under malicious investigation.

"Then a couple days after Susan Rice promised to wheel out a guillotine in Lafayette Square in order to rid the country of red-capped-heads once and for all, the U.S.A. men’s Olympic hockey squad beat Canada in overtime. What fantastic news! The gold-medal victory came forty-six years to the day after Team U.S.A. upset the Soviet Union on the ice at the Lake Placid Olympic Games. The whole country was surely in a fit of jubilation, right? Wrong. Why? Because Democrats largely supported Canada’s America-hating socialists sticking it to anyone competing on behalf of “Donald Trump’s America.” Democrat-leaning sports “reporters” sounded almost depressed as they watched the men’s hockey team celebrating on the ice with American flags wrapped around their shoulders and waving above their heads. So much patriotism made Democrats’ heads explode." . . .  More...

The Line That Held on Iran

First some history about red lines: 10 years after Obama's embarrassing 'red line' retreat | Responsible Statecraft    "Unfortunately, Obama learned his lesson from the Syria episode, and the lesson he learned was that he would never again seek Congress’s approval for military action or involvement anywhere else"   More...

The American Spectator

"More than his support for Israel, more than displaying empathy for the Iranian people, he had to stand by his word."

Remember Obama's red lines?

"What is it about Switzerland? Three Presidents have tried their luck at dealing with blatant insanity. Obama played his cards in Lausanne in 2015 while Biden bet on Vienna five years later. Geneva’s turn had come. The President’s golf pal Witkoff went through the motions. Last night Trump gave thumbs up. The Mullah team had its final chance. At that moment in Tehran all hell broke loose.

"Of all murky lunacies, redoing nuclear talks with born liars and lunatics is the most comic, the most idiotic, the most perilous. “The president wants diplomatic solutions. He prefers them greatly.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio had to mask Trump’s serial ultimatums tagged with frantic appeals for Tehran to negotiate. He’d risked sailing close to the wind, given Obama’s “worst deal ever made,” that crude denouncement now putting the President’s political life at risk. The Special Envoy was having a third stab at a nuclear  deal. The Mullahs would have been relishing one cop-out after another. And they slipped a fourth round of playing postman’s bluff onto the rumor mill.

"Never mind the MAGA movement. A poll from The Associated Press-NORC Centre for Public Affairs conducted in February 19-23 found that both the left and right view Iran’s nuclear program as a threat. At the same time they lack trust in the President’s judgment. As for the isolationist crowd, a military escapade in the Middle East scares the hell out of them. Zionists getting America to fight their wars are not the flavor of the day. Bait clicks for populist Tucker Carlson and professor John Mearsheimer were as likely as the risk of Iran’s ballistic missiles to de-escalate.

"Many in the MAGA movement look askew at the President’s involvement in Ukraine, Venezuela, and Gaza as a betrayal of his vow to put “America first.”  It would all have blown up in his face had Trump not bombed the terrors of Tehran to smithereens but cut a deal which froze rather than dismantled their nuclear program, declaring it better than Obama’s excuse for a deal.

"For sure, the motives of the 44th and 47th Presidents were poles apart. A signature legacy motivated the former to bargain with the devil. And he meant to empower Iran’s theocracy, not bring it down. Indeed Obama was about to turn the old order upside down. Iran, hitherto America’s number one foe, was going to be, in the world’s number one hotspot, America’s number one ally. A detente brewed between the world’s powerhouse and the world’s sour pickle jar." . . .  More...

Hamas Lied to Hostage Matan Zangauker About Release, Deepening Psychological Torture

JFeed (June, 2025)

Hamas deceived an Israeli hostage by promising his imminent release alongside another captive, only to cruelly keep him in Gaza, worsening his mental state. The incident highlights the terror group’s psychological tactics amid the ongoing hostage crisis.

"A devastating report has revealed that Hamas terrorists inflicted severe psychological torment on Israeli hostage Matan Zangauker, falsely promising his release alongside US-Israeli citizen Edan Alexander, only to abandon him in captivity. The details emerged following Alexander’s release, after the two were held together in Gaza since their abduction during Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack. Zangauker, a 24-year-old from Kibbutz Nir Oz, believed his 20-month ordeal was nearing an end when Hamas instructed him to pack his belongings, assuring him he would soon reunite with his family in Israel.

“They told Matan he would be freed with Edan and to prepare to return home,” a family source recounted, highlighting the cruel manipulation. Trusting the promise, Zangauker did not send a message to his mother via Alexander. However, in a barbaric twist, Hamas reneged, informing him he would remain captive while Alexander was released. The deception is believed to have significantly worsened Zangauker’s mental state, already strained by brutal conditions, including starvation and isolation in Gaza’s tunnels. On June 7, Hamas released a propaganda photo showing Zangauker hooked to an IV drip, claiming IDF operations in his area endangered him, further exploiting his plight for psychological warfare." . . .More...

‘We’re not going to put up with it any longer’: President Trump announces ‘massive and ongoing operation’ against Iran

. . . "President Donald Trump posted an eight-minute video to Truth Social announcing the “massive and ongoing” attacks, identified as Operation Epic Fury, which are targeting Iran’s military and its nuclear program, as well as to facilitate a change in its government.

“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people,” the president declared in the video posted Saturday at 2:30 a.m. EST. “Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world.”

“We are going to destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry to the ground,” Trump vowed. “We are going to annihilate their navy, we are going to ensure that the region’s terrorist proxies can no longer destabilize the region and the world.”

Iran, he claimed, “attempted to rebuild their nuclear program and continue developing long range missiles that can now threaten our very good friends and allies in Europe, our troops stationed overseas and could soon reach our American homeland.” . . .

‘It’s Insane What They Did’: Mark Halperin Unloads On Legacy Media For Framing Iran Story Like Trump Was ‘Lying’

‘It’s Insane What They Did’: Mark Halperin Unloads On Legacy Media For Framing Iran Story Like Trump Was ‘Lying’

He had six children, one of whom, Mojtaba, has been touted as a possible successor as supreme leader.

Political analyst Mark Halperin on Thursday criticized the media for using an early intelligence assessment of the damage America’s Saturday bombings inflicted on Iran’s nuclear program to portray President Donald Trump as a liar.

Trump said on Saturday that the bombings “totally obliterated” Iran’s crucial nuclear sites, but CNN and The New York Times published reports, based on an intelligence report, finding that the attack may have only delayed Iran’s nuclear program by a few months. Halperin, on “The Morning Meeting,” said Trump was exaggerating the destruction, but the news outlets’ reports were attempts to downplay the effectiveness of the strikes — despite the lack of certainty of the intelligence assessment.

“I thought I understood how the media works, but apparently I don’t. We are today where we were yesterday. The president continues to overstate the case,” Halperin said. “The people around him, like the Secretary of State and his spokesperson and the Secretary of Defense [Pete Hegseth], pretend attitudinally and stylistically and tonally that they’re agreeing with the president, but they’re not actually going as far as the president in most cases in qualifying the damage done to the Iranian nuclear program.”

“And then the media is just — it’s insane. Because Pete Hegseth is correct. They put out a fragment of a preliminary report and they framed it as if the president was lying. It’s insane what they did,” he continued. “The fragment of a preliminary report by one part of the intelligence community should not have been cast, as CNN and The New York Times did, as some definitive judgment on whether it worked or not, or how effective it was. It’s insane. And it opens the door to let the Secretary of Defense and the president have the debate about fake news.”

Both CNN and The New York Times noted in their pieces that the intelligence assessment contradicted Trump’s assertions.

“[T]he early findings are at odds with President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that the strikes ‘completely and totally obliterated’ Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities,” CNN wrote.

“The initial damage assessment suggests that President Trump’s claim that Iran’s nuclear facilities were ‘obliterated’ was overstated,” the NYT wrote.

Both CNN and the NYT used unnamed sources for their reports.

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Iranian government all contradicted CNN’s article on the leaked preliminary DIA damage report, generally asserting that the strikes caused substantial damage to Iran’s nuclear program.

The DIA later described its assessment as “low confidence.”

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly criticized the use of anonymous sources in CNN’s report on “CUOMO” Wednesday. CNN was first to report on the intelligence assessment.
