"Hirsi, a far-left activist, anti-Israel agitator, and Barnard College senior, posted a screenshot of the GoFundMe with a link on her Instagram story Tuesday evening. At the time, the fundraiser had collected just over $9,000. By Wednesday afternoon, that ballooned to more than $42,000.

"The GoFundMe launched after ICE detained Mahdawi, a Jordan native, following the revocation of his green card on Monday. The fundraiser has a $100,000 goal with proceeds going toward "legal expenses on behalf of Mohsen … to effect his release from detention and to achieve his quest for US citizenship," the page says.

" 'It also seeks to further his advocacy for building understanding between Israelis and Palestinians for the traumas that each have experienced in order to bring peace and justice to each," the page adds.

"But while the fundraiser portrays Mahdawi as an "advocate for peace and justice," the Columbia graduate student has repeatedly expressed support for Hamas. Just two weeks after the terrorist group killed nearly 1,200 Israelis during its Oct. 7 attack, Mahdawi told a New England newspaper that "Hamas is a product of the Israeli occupation." According to the newspaper, he also helped pen an Oct. 14, 2023, statement that anti-Israel groups at Columbia issued arguing that the "Palestinian struggle for freedom is rooted in international law, under which occupied peoples have the right to resist the occupation of their land." . . .

"On Sunday night, Fox News Host Mark Levin, on his show "Life, Liberty, and Levin," had on as his guest former Plano, Texas detective, now private investigator Douglas Deaton. Deaton came on to tell Levin about a very curious proposal that could happen in Plano. The proposal is for a massive 400-plus acre development called "EPIC City." What's the problem with EPIC City? Potentially, a lot. 

"For starters, the "EPIC" in EPIC City is an acronym that stands for "East Plano Islamic Center." Deaton explained that the Center is already in existence. There are already some 74 single-family homes near a large mosque in East Plano, a suburb of Dallas. The proposal is for a massive 402-acre expansion of the site, which would contain around 1,000 homes and other mixed-use developments. However, the fear is that the true nature of this site is for it to become an exclusive Muslim-only community. Deaton went on to say that this fear has been brought about by the development's own promotional materials.

"But an even bigger problem than the massive growth of the site is talk that the idea behind EPIC City would be a Sharia law-only community. Deaton says that those behind the Islamic Center deny that both publicly and through attorneys. However, EPIC is working with something called the UIF Corporation, which has on its website a Sharia-compliant Supervisory Board. UIF also has an office at the current Islamic Center. It gets better; a past UIF Corporation president is a co-founder of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, which Deaton describes as "very, very serious about making sure that Sharia has a seat at the table when it comes to reimagining Islam in the West.' In touch with a higher morality and reality, their whims must not only be adopted but praised by mere Normal Americans. Compared to their brilliance, the hard work, sacrifices and rights of America’s women are meaningless. We are also told of their superhuman courage, which when backed by the entire leftist establishment, and prior to January 20, the entire federal government, might be considered something less than genuine bravery.

"At the beginning of April, fencer Stephanie Turner joined the expanding ranks of actual women demonstrating real courage. She refused to fence a man pretending to be a woman, was black- carded—fencing’s most serious sanction--and in an act of spite, tournament officials ejected her from the venue.

"Turner had previously avoided competitions with trans entrants, but this one apparently registered after Turner, and she wasn’t aware she’d have to fence him until she’d already fenced four bouts. USA Fencing was quick to defend itself, saying she was ousted for refusing to fence, not because USA Fencing was upholding any ideology, no sir. While such a rule exists, there is more than sufficient reason to believe they were motivated by the TSN." . . .

"So the Biden family kept the secret while watching Joe’s dementia grow.  There were no lawyers or friends nearby who dared to address the issue.  The Biden family and his colleagues were hiding it from the world, for their own advantage, forcing the demented man to agree to their decisions and assent to the signing of documents that in a court of law could be successfully contested.  This is a crime we are talking about, not a joke.  And those who are guilty need to be held accountable."

"Many close associates and colleagues are now revealing that they knew the state of Biden’s brain almost from the beginning of his presidency.  We are told that the president seemed befuddled about what he had done, that he had forgotten he had signed bills, such as House speaker Mike Johnson reported after his meeting with Biden.  And most everyone saw the president wander into the jungle while on a trip.  Even as they report on the mistakes Biden made, they do not seem to understand the demented brain.

"Those of us who have dealt with loved ones suffering from dementia know that you can’t take much of anything they say at face value.  They simply are not capable of knowing what they think.

"The first thing most people lose as their dementia progresses is executive function.  They can’t take the evidence before them and make decisions; they can’t run committees or respond well to papers or arguments that are put before them.  That Biden, according to Ron Klain, thought he was president of NATO isn’t funny; it shows that he was in another world through most of his presidency.  Taking his comments and decisions seriously is ludicrous.

“ 'Being of sound mind” is always on the will when one signs it.  There can be some levels to this; as one is fading, one can determine that it is time to get one’s documents in order.  But there is a line where the “being of sound mind” clause kicks in, and one can be declared non compos mentis.  Documents signed by someone with dementia can be contested.  There is room for mischief here.  Some states offer legal help and consultation to the elderly who feel they are being conned out of their money and property.  Indeed, that is a good and beneficial service.  There is, without doubt, a lot of fraud around those issues." . . .
