Americans’ Miserable Airline Experience is Absolutely Because of Democrats

William Sullivan - American Thinker
"Democrats may not be so lucky.  They are betting that they can pull off a Hail Mary strategy that relies heavily upon the ignorance and stupidity of millions of Americans.  And sadly, there are some signs that it’s working."

Well, that did work vis a vis Hamas v Israel. Remember Greta and Code Pink?

"There are reports saying that Elon Musk is offering to pay TSA employees’ salaries to help ease the financial pain of the government shutdown that is seriously impacting the Department of Homeland Security.

Regardless how much money the man has, this is an incredibly altruistic gesture.

Now, you can certainly count me among those who believe that the TSA is one of many government agencies which should have never existed at all.  But, given that it does exist, and that often good and dedicated human beings enter contracts with the federal government with the promise of income for their labor, it would be decent to want them to be paid for what they do when they go to work.  And, arguably, the fact that these agents typically earn less than the national average income means that they cannot afford these kinds of prolonged disruptions in their pay.

Additionally, given that the government has promised this service to the American people in exchange for taxpayers’ dollars, there is no downside to a private citizen ensuring that the job is done when the government has failed, right?  Paying his fair share, and all that?

Nevertheless, we are left wondering to what lengths Democrats will go in order to prevent Elon Musk from doing this.

After all, the pain is the point when it comes the Democrats’ most recent government shutdown.  Democrats want Americans to be miserable, and want them to associate their misery with the Trump presidency and Republicans. There is no other conclusion that makes any sense.

They want Americans to think otherwise, of course.  They’re out there with the scripted attacks, suggesting that they’re ready to fund the government, including the TSA – with the caveat that the Republicans submit to their demands to carve out constitutionally legislated funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE." . . .

Remember Obamas 2017 shutdown?

Obama’s vindictiveness worsening impact of shutdown

"However, the Obama Administration is going out of its way to take unreasonable and unnecessary steps to block public access to parks and monuments that isn’t warranted by a government shutdown. For example, open air parks and national monuments, places without doors or gates, where people are allowed to visit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, have been barricaded off. In addition, none of these D.C. memorials were closed during the last
government shutdown in 1995-1996 under the Clinton Administration. The Obama Administration’s closing of these sites is not something they are required to do; it’s something they are CHOOSING to do. The Obama Administration wants the effects of this government shutdown to be as painful as possible."

"Loudon noted that Jeff Reed of American Family Radio put it like this: 'The sad reality is … Obama sent more guards to keep WWII vets from entering their memorial than he sent to Benghazi.'"

Victor Davis Hanson Levels Gavin Newsom's Vile Rhetoric As the CA Governor Chooses to Fight Dirty

Townhall

"Moreover, Hanson mocked Newsom for the erratic body movements he uses while speaking, comparing him to Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz."

"Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson said Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom constantly expresses himself inappropriately during a Tuesday episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”

"Newsom has boosted his public profile by crudely attacking President Donald Trump and conducting interviews to promote his memoir amid speculation that he will mount a 2028 presidential bid. On his Daily Signal show, Hanson highlighted several recent examples of Newsom’s conduct that he found objectionable.

"'Just think of what he said the last few days, last few weeks. He told the European leaders that they basically need to take their knee pads off,” Hanson said. “In other words, they crouch down before Trump and perform a foul sex act upon him. That’s what he said.”

"Newsom in January displayed knee pads that he sells on his website while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, claiming they were designed for leaders who were “selling out” to the Trump administration, CNBC reported.

"Hanson also criticized Newsom’s team over his press office’s March 16 X post containing a cartoon image of YouTuber Nick Shirley asking to see the children at a daycare. The post came shortly after Shirley published a video in which he claimed to document over $170 million in taxpayer fraud in California.

"And then his team, when the brave young kid who was trying to expose all of the fraud and help the taxpayer comes to California, he tweets out that he’s a — with pictures as if he’s a sexual predator,” Hanson said, referring to Shirley.

"'And he’s tweeted out that he’d like to hit Trump in the mouth. He’s gone to a group of accomplished black people and said that they’re no smarter than he is, he’s no smarter than they are,” he added.

"Newsom received backlash in February after telling a black mayor he related to him because he only got a 960 on his SATs and couldn’t read during a promotional event for his book.

“I mean, every time he opens his mouth, he says something either foul, vile, mean, stupid, self-incriminating,” Hanson said. . ..   More

Trump vs. Newsom: Who said it better?

. . . "The real issue here: The Newsom crew is shallow, silly, unoriginal, inauthentic and detached from the issues Californians care about.

" 'While crises fester, Newsom tweets, trolls and asks if we miss Joe Biden yet. (No one does.)

"Trump’s tweets and quips work for him because they reflect who he is. Like the guy or not, he’s real, genuine, authentic.

"'Newsom’s missives flop because they’re phony, derivative, banal, inane.

"Besides … if Newsom really wanted to mimic Trump, he wouldn’t just tweet. He’d get down to business and govern.

"To borrow from Elvis, has the gov ever caught a rabbit?"
