13 Basic Facts to Defend Israel

 Seth Grossman - American Thinker

  1. In 1948, the United Nations equally divided the “Jewish National Home” part of Palestine between Jews and Arabs.  The Jews accepted what they were given as their State of Israel.  The Arabs in Palestine rejected statehood.  They instead invaded Israel with the help of armies from five neighboring Arab countries.  After a year of bitter fighting, Jews had control of roughly three fourths of western Palestine.  In 1949, all parties agreed to a ceasefire.  The lines where the fighting stopped became the “Green Line” borders of Israel.

"During the past week, I found that even most well informed Americans know very little about the causes of the war between Jews and Arabs in Israel.  Here is a summary of 13 basic facts I think every American should know:". . .

Gonna kill some women and babies!

From American Thinker: A parable illustrates Israel’s plight and her strength

Hamas makes it clear that Israel isn’t the only target; it’s just the first target - American Thinker

The Rooster continued. “You, Mr. Wolf, were fighting for your supper.
I was fighting for my life.”

. . ."Today’s “Evidence A” for this truism is the call from Hamas for Friday the 13th to be a Day of Jihad. The call, ostensibly, demands this Jihad across the Muslim world but let’s not be naïve. According to Islam, the whole world is now or will be the Muslim world. We draw bright lines; the Islamists do not.

"Most people first became aware of this demand for jihad from the Daily Mail, which reported that Khaled Meshaal, a former Hamas leader, issued the call:

A former Hamas chief has called for protests to take place across the Muslim world on Friday in support of the Palestinians, and for the peoples of neighboring countries to join the fight against Israel.

‘[We must] head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world on Friday,’ said Khaled Meshaal, who currently heads Hamas’s diaspora office.

. . .

With Hamas’s war crimes against Israel, leftist Jews are reaping what they sowed - American Thinker

“For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.” Hosea 8:7.

"If it weren’t so unutterably tragic, it would be amusing to watch leftist Jews shout their outrage at fellow leftists who are siding with Hamas. These leftist Jews may have been pro-Israel and afraid of a second Holocaust, but their support for leftist policies led to the slaughter that horrifies them now.

"What happened in Israel was not war. It was, instead, a grotesque violation of modern norms driven by people who have, for 1,500 years, proudly and unabashedly stated both their goal and their means: The goal is world domination, and the means are torturing and slaughtering men and boys, raping women and girls, enslaving those women and girls they don’t murder, and killing babies in their cradles.

"This isn’t about territorial disputes or someone else’s colonialism. This is written into their most holy text, which has not undergone a single revision since their prophet first spoke his words. They did this in the 7th century, they did it two decades ago on September 11, they did it a decade ago to the Yazidi, they did it last weekend to the Israelis, and they’re chomping at the bit to do it to you." . . .

In The Terrorist Attack, The Jewish Future And The Jewish Past Come Together - American Thinker   "Let me tell you about the Jews of today. It’s taken thousands of years, but we are no longer a meek and timid people who will obediently board a train, be separated from our loved ones, and walk into a gas chamber believing we’ll have a nice shower after our arduous journey. It is precisely these tragic events in our collective Jewish past that inform the present and somehow will inform our future.

"The catastrophe that unfolded this past weekend in Israel was surreal for all decent humans with a pulse—excluding pro-Palestinian groups celebrating in Gaza, London, Sydney, and New York, as well as low-IQ individuals with undeserved diplomas and a platform for ignorance like Sonny Hostin of The View

"As Sukkot came to an end, Jews around the world looked forward to celebrating Simchat Torah, where the entire Torah is raised up and completely unrolled so that the Creation in Genesis connects to the final chapter of Deuteronomy when Moses takes his final breaths while looking out over the land of Israel, contemplating the future of his people. No rabbi ever told me this, but it seems clear that our unknowable future hearkens back to our lived past, as well as to the time before man walked this Earth. And that past is also connected to a future we don’t yet know.

New York, California exodus continues, but ‘catastrophic effect’ of Biden economy may be on the way: Experts (msn.com)

"Americans are continuing to flee liberal states like New York and California for better home prices and taxes, but business experts warn the Biden economy is creating new problems for happy movers.

"On Finch Capital founder and real estate investor Steven Pesavento said that during the pandemic, employees realized they no longer needed to live in the cities where they worked, which created new opportunities for a flexible lifestyle.

" 'It opened up an opportunity for them to get away from, you know, the high cost of living, the kind of oppressive civil policies and business policies, the high taxes, all of those things that they were willing to stay put over because it was what they needed for their job," Pesavento said.

"California saw its first-ever population decline in 2020 when the state imposed rigid lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. From January 2020 to July 2022, the state lost well over half a million people, with the number of residents leaving surpassing those moving in by almost 700,000." . . .

International women’s rights orgs silent on Hamas' kidnapping and sexual violence in Israel

The name "Antifa" stands for anti-Nazi, does it not? Wouldn't support for Israel be in line with their stated mission?

Israeli Student Assaulted on Columbia University Campus - Algemeiner.com   . . ."IA said he was outside the university library with four other friends and noticed the suspect with a bandana covering her face, ripping off flyers they had put up earlier with names and photos of Israelis that Hamas has reportedly taken as hostages.
"When the group approached her, IA said the suspect screamed obscenities toward the students and hit the victim with a stick. IA said he defended himself when the suspect allegedly tried to punch him in the face. After the incident, the victim said that one hand was bruised and his ring finger on the other hand was broken." . . .

  Just The News

An Inconvenient Truth? Leftist groups who purportedly exist to combat sexism and rape appear to be giving a "pass" to Hamas.

"Several international women’s rights organizations have remained silent as terrorists killed and sexually assaulted numerous Israeli women in an attack over the weekend, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of their social media platforms and websites.

"Hamas, a U.S.-designated Palestinian terrorist group, invaded Israel on the morning of October 7 and began executing and kidnapping Israeli men, women, children and the elderly, with thousands reported dead and injured.

"Multiple outlets have reported that Hamas terrorists have been sexually assaulting women as they tried to escape from a music festival in Israel but international women’s groups have remained silent over the past few days despite the violence.

"Equality Now, a human rights organization that targets violence and abuse of women around the world, has not released a statement regarding the attack but noted the upcoming International Day of the Girl Child on Oct. 11, which celebrates justice for young girls, according to a Monday Twitter post." . . .

Netanyahu's office releases horrifying images of infants murdered by Hamas | The Times of Israel   . . ."The Times of Israel is sharing heavily blurred versions of the photos that were released.

"A spokesman for the PMO told The Times of Israel that the rationale behind sharing such images was simple: “So that the world will see just a fraction of the horrors that Hamas carried out.”

"The PMO said the photos released were some of what was shown earlier Thursday to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, adding that they are “difficult-to-see images of babies murdered and burned by the monsters of Hamas. Hamas are not human. Hamas is ISIS.” . . .

Babies Killed, Beheaded in Israel by Hamas at Kfar Aza: Israeli TV (msn.com)  "Israeli Major General Itai Veruv spoke to reporters at the scene of the Kibbutz massacre: “It is not a battlefield. You see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms and how the terrorist kills them. It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. It’s a massacre, it’s a terror activity.”

Israel releases pictures of ‘murdered babies’ as evidence of stomach-churning Hamas atrocities (msn.com)  A rescue team who visited the kibbutz, where the smell of rotting bodies still hangs in the air, told how they saw a pregnant woman lying dead on the floor of the first house they walked into.

"It had earlier been reported that the terrorists massacred entire families including babies at Kfar Aza.

"Mr Blinken said he had seen images of children “riddled with bullets” and young people who had been burned by Hamas attackers.

"He told a press conference: “Images are worth a thousand words - these are worth a million.” He likened the brutality to that of ISIS.

"He said the images he had seen represented “depravity in the most unimaginable way”." . . .

“Hamas has only one agenda: to destroy Israel and to murder. No country can or would tolerate the slaughter of its citizens or simply return to the conditions that allowed it to take place. Israel has the right, indeed, the obligation to defend itself and to ensure that this never happens. So the prime minister and I discussed how Israel does this matters. Our humanity, the value that we place on human life and human dignity. That’s what makes us who we are. And we count them among our greatest strength.”

Biden fails murdered Americans

Biden fails murdered Americans - American Thinker

Or is this presidential slight a signal of something much more cynical, more sinister, and more politically motivated? Have these 25 murdered Americans not been honored with lowered flags to offend neither Muslims at home and abroad, nor Biden’s pollical base of progressives who largely are in support of the Palestinians and hostile toward Israel?

"Twenty-five confirmed dead Americans and “[a]t least 17 Americans are missing.” This much the White House is revealing in the aftermath of Hamas’ unexpected terrorist attack on Israel last Saturday. How the President intends to ultimately respond to these American losses, beyond the already promised military and intelligence support to Israel, at this point is anybody’s guess.

"Strangely, however, there is one White House response to such a national tragedy which might normally be expected but that Biden hasn’t yet taken -- that the nation’s flags be flown at half-staff in the murdered American’s honor.

"During a so-called Roundtable with Jewish Community Leaders held at the White House on Wednesday, President Biden was asked about his planned response to the terrorist attacks. "There's a lot we're doing, a lot we're doing… But the idea that I'm going to stand here before you and tell you what I'm doing is bizarre,” responded Biden.

"That Joe Biden should find this question to be “bizarre” may seem a little ironic, if not more than a little, well, bizarre, coming from a man who rarely says or does anything as president that isn’t utterly bizarre, but this may be beside the point. However, Biden not yet ordering the nation’s flags to be flown at half-staff is indeed bizarre." . . .

Harvard Student Leaves Lecture On Microaggressions To Attend ‘Kill The Jews’ Rally

Harvard Student Leaves Lecture On Microaggressions To Attend ‘Kill The Jews’ Rally | Babylon Bee Parody

CAMBRIDGE, MA — A Harvard University student later identified as Luke Dillon left a lecture on microaggressions a little early so he could make it to the "Kill the Jews" rally on time.

The University happily hosted the rally for mass murder and rape after being assured that no one would be misgendered. "Hate speech has no place here at Harvard," assured President Claudine Gay. "We affirm everyone's right, regardless of gender, to feel safe to express their deep hatred and longing to kill Jewish people. That's why Harvard is more than a school - it's a family."

A group effort, the "Kill the Jews" rally was lovingly organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee with help from the Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Studentenbund. The rally's aim is to spread awareness of the plight of the Palestinian people who currently have to live in a world where Jewish people are alive and breathing.

"We will continue to band together until the Jewish people are rendered extinct and a free Palestine is established from the river to the sea," said Mr. Dillon. "Jewish breathing is a clear microaggression and if you disagree with killing Jews, that just makes you a Nazi. As we all know, only Nazis support Israel! Boo, Nazi Israel!"

At publishing time, Harvard had proudly announced that its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Department would be hosting a "Yay, Holocaust" night next week.

It Wasn't a Mistake. It Was Social Justice.

Ann Coulter...Most people have no idea, but the obsession with keeping "families" together is another zany progressive cause. Part of the reason is that godless liberals who dismiss religion as a bunch of hocus-pocus believe there's some mystical, supernatural connection between kids and their biological parents -- even if the parents are Charles Manson and Lizzie Borden." . . .

. . ."A report by the U.S. Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect listed some of the ways children had been killed by their parents in 1993: Here are a few:

  • 2-month-old: force-fed fatal amounts of Epsom salts and liquid antacids;
  • 5-month-old: scalded to death;
  • 1-year-old: beaten with shoe heel;
  • 2-year-old: severely beaten after bed-wetting;
  • 3-year-old: forcibly hung by neck;
  • 7-year-old: bludgeoned to death;
  • 8-year-old: stabbed in heart.

"At that time, about 1,200 to 1,500 kids were being killed by their parents every year. After passage of a law putting kids' safety above keeping "families" together (and avoiding racial stereotypes!), that number was cut in half. Today, about 700 kids die at their parents' hands every year.

"Under Joe Biden's active, hands-on leadership, progressives are getting everything they've ever wanted. They've flung open the border, emptied the prisons, embroiled the nation in faraway wars and established anti-white racism as our national creed. Giving homicidal parents a "second chance" is surely coming up on the agenda.

"Let Ella Vitalis' hideous death remind Americans why we shouldn't let progressives anywhere near child welfare laws." . . .

Meet the UVA Student Leader Who Is 'Proud to Stand in Solidarity' With Hamas (townhall.com)

Leftists Want the Same Massacre to Happen Here (townhall.com)   . . ."They want you dead, horribly. Your family as well. Too bad if the truth scares you. You can deny it, but you’re only fooling yourself – and probably not even yourself.

"How do I know they want us dead? They tell me on social media, where the fellow travelers of the brave warriors who take on unarmed women and children cheer on the atrocities.  What do you think they mean by “decolonialization”? They mean you deceased. But they also tell us by their actions. Why do you think that Soros DAs free rapists and murderers? Why do you think they only vigorously pursue their political enemies and those who use self-defense to protect themselves from criminals? Why do you think they are dedicated to seeing us disarmed? We’re not murdering people – and they do not care about the people who actually are. Their top priority is to see that we do not have the means to protect ourselves – via cops, via the legal system, or via our guns. There is only one possible conclusion for anyone who is not in willful denial. It’s just hard for some people to accept, but take a look at the people giddy over Hamas’s savagery and you cannot come to any other conclusion. Do you think someone who wants to make sure you cannot fight back wants you alive or dead? Because wanting you defenseless is only consistent with wanting you dead." . . .

Remember how two half-wits with handguns shut down Boston? Armed citizens turn the tables on packs of semihuman savages.   "The gun control thing is part and parcel of the left’s campaign to delegitimize any resistance to the leftists’ exterminationist agenda. You see it in their demands that Israel forgo violence, but it is not because they believe violence is illegitimate. As we have seen, they support violence."

Palestine woke the world up -

  Don Surber (substack.com)

. . ."There are no innocents in Gaza. That unnamed Gaza resident and her 2.3 million neighbors have been chanting “Death to Israel” for five decades. This weekend the message finally got through to Israelis and the civilized world that the Palestinians mean exactly what they say."

"Palestinian goons launched a horrific and well-staged attack on Israel this weekend that included the gang rapes of women, the beheading of babies and the burning of Jews alive. The horror exposed just what decolonization and the rest of the lefty euphemisms for wiping out the West are.

"All the talk about intersectionality, diversity, equity and inclusiveness really mean torturing and killing white people. The actions by Hamas — Palestine’s other name — finally showed the world what their true goal is and what their methods are. The left used to say by any means necessary. The terrorists say by the worst means possible. That is what terrorists do: they attack innocents in horrific fashion to terrorize people into submission.

"Paragliding into a Rave for Peace to rape and kill women was only for starters. We learned later that in one town they beheaded babies.

"Israelis are uniting behind Netanyahu like never before because they know they either win this war or die.

"The Times of Israel reported, “An agreement is reached to bring Benny Gantz’s opposition National Unity party into an emergency government amid the war with Hamas in Gaza following days of negotiations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Gantz announced in a joint statement.

" 'A small war cabinet to direct the war with Hamas will be created, as demanded by Gantz, which will include just Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Gantz." . . .

...In the end, the incompetence of Palestinian leadership brought the civilized world down on them. They indulged themselves in a 7th century barbarism that revealed to the world who they are. That may appeal to Iran but Americans have had it.

Fireworks at the WH Press Briefing: Reporter Tells KJP She Should Be 'Ashamed' for Ducking Questions –

  RedState

At this point, the position of press secretary is almost useless as a source of actual news and information because, with KJP at the helm, the job seems to mostly consist of deflecting and ignoring. "I would refer you to...."

We’ve written dozens and dozens of stories about White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre because she’s irritable, evades any questions she doesn’t like, and is just generally incompetent at her job. Few besides Fox News’ Peter Doocy and Today News Africa's Simon Ateba ever call it out; most of the other WH press corps sheep just go along with it.

But on Wednesday, it all seemed to be too much for NY Post writer Steven Nelson, who called out KJP for refusing to answer his questions—since May. Transparency be damned, evidently.

After she looked past him yet again and searched for a friendlier reporter who could throw her softballs, Nelson spoke up: "You haven't called on me in two seasons, Karine."

"And I’m not calling on you today," Jean-Pierre snapped. Then, with a smirk on her face, she tried to ignore Nelson's protestations as she kept repeating, "Go ahead, go ahead" to another reporter.

Trump Vs. Biden On Israel Explained In One Post –

  Issues & Insights (issuesinsights.com)

"This was posted by Robert Greenway, who was the principal architect of the historic Abraham Accords under the Trump administration. Remember that every step he describes that Trump took was met with horror and anguish by elites and leftists alike who said it would lead to conflict.

We moved our embassy to Jerusalem. No war.

We withdrew from the JCPOA. No war.

We undertook the maximum economic pressure campaign and crippling, historic sanctions on Iran. No war and they stayed below 4% enrichment.

We recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. No war.

We eliminated Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al Muhandis (and Abu Bakr al Baghdadi). No war.

The results? Iran isolated under crippling sanctions reducing their capacity to threaten the region, and historic peace brokered between Israel and its neighbors via the Abraham Accords.

Two years after Biden took office Iran is enriching over 60%, they’re two weeks from sufficient material for a nuclear weapon, Sudan fell into a civil war, and Israel just experienced the greatest loss of life in a single day since the holocaust. In seeking to avoid conflict, it is upon us.

By embracing our enemy and spurning our friends it will not be easily contained.

‘Gas the Jews’ doesn’t qualify as hate speech?

 Eric Utter - American Thinker

Speaking of the difference between Western nations and terrorists, Benjamin Netanyahu once observed, “Here’s the difference between us.  We’re using missile defense to protect our civilians, and they're using their civilians to protect their missiles.” In fact, Hamas has located its military headquarters under a hospital.

'Hamas Sympathizer'

"Muslims and anti-Semites around the world have gathered in recent days to celebrate the mass slaughter of Jews in Israel by Hamas terrorists.  Several cities in Europe, including London and Berlin, have been the sight of these unspeakably appalling — yet joyous — gatherings.  Various cities in North America, such as Montreal and New York, have also been witness to such madness and depravity.  BLM has thrown its support behind the Palestinian cause, as have, unsurprisingly, many campus groups across America.

"In Australia, thousands of “Australians” gathered outside the Sydney Opera House to lose themselves in such zesty chants as "f--- the Jews!" and "gas the Jews!"  One person was arrested...for “breaching the peace” of the wannabe Jew-gassers by having the audacity to possess an Israeli flag.  Good on the local constabulary for dealing with him!

"But might not “f--- the Jews” be considered hate speech in this day and age?  I mean, nearly all locales across the former penal colony have laws regulating hate speech as regards race and religion.  If “gas the Jews” doesn’t qualify, what would?  “Misgender the Jews”?" . . .

Man's inhumanity to man - Patricia McCarthy   "
Has there been in recent years any more evidence of the gross probability of the inhumanity that human beings are capable of than what Hamas has perpetrated on the civilians of Israel?

"In the decades past, we have seen what Islamic terrorists are capable of; beheading Americans on video, the obvious intent to shock and terrorize the West.". . .

Obama implemented the plan to “take America down a peg or two.” Boy did he! The Trump administration was a shock to the left’s system, so he had to be destroyed.  The Democrats are still doing their best to ruin the man, his business, his family.  Their use of lawfare to do it is unconscionable.  The Democrats have emboldened the terrorists, funded the terrorists, racialized college students throughout the country, convinced black people they are oppressed, Asians that they are privileged, white people that they are interminably racist oppressors, etc., etc.  These are the people who now support the murderous Hamas terrorists.

Hamas and Amoral Clarity › Victor Davis Hanson   "One unexpected blowback from the medieval Hamas’s barbaric murdering of hundreds of Israeli civilians is the revelation of current global amorality.

"More than 20 Harvard University identity politics groups pledged their support to the Hamas murderers—to the utter silence for days of Harvard President Claudine Gay.

"Americans knew higher education practiced racist admission policies. It has long promoted racially segregated dorms and graduations. And de facto it has destroyed the First Amendment.

"But the overt support for Hamas killers by the diversity, equity, and inclusion crowd on a lot of campuses exposes to Americans the real moral and intellectual rot in higher education.

"Democratic Socialist members of the new woke Democrat Party openly expressed ecstatic support for Hamas’s bloodwork." . . .

What has become of America today?

How an Israeli kibbutz 'paradise' turned into hell in Hamas attack | Reuters   "Bodies of young Israeli babies, including some with their heads cut off, have been found by IDF soldiers in a southern Israeli kibbutz, according to reports.

"Soldiers discovered the bodies among burned-out houses, strewn furniture and torched cars after Hamas terrorists attacked Kfar Aza kibbutz near the Gaza border.

In a video on X/Twitter, an i24 journalist said: “Talking to some of the soldiers here, they say what they witnessed as they’ve been walking through these communities is bodies of babies with their heads cut off and families gunned down in their beds.

“We can see some of these soldiers right now, comforting each other.”

"Kfar Aza was one of the hardest hit areas when Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on Saturday morning.

Americans Gather To Celebrate Slaughter Of Jews   . . ."The hatred toward Israeli Jews was palpable, even though it is likely none of those celebrating the slaughter had even been to Israel. Have they ever met a Jew? The Jewish population in this burb of 92,000 is so small it doesn’t even register on the census. The Greater Seattle Area counts 63,400 Jewish residents and 25,000 Muslim residents.

"Those celebrating in the streets of Kirkland were pretending Hamas is full of freedom fighters. In fact, they’re full of murderous cowards who hate Jews as much as they hate women, gays, and Westerners. The lesbian couple holding hands on the pro-Hamas side would be thrown from the highest rooftop if they held hands in Gaza.
