(Don’t) Take the F Train

(Don’t) Take the F Train - Clarice_Feldman   Another act to subdue an aggressive mentally ill man leads to another George Floyd media-leftist whitewash of the perpetrator and this time, I think it will not work.

Don Surber says it well:

“Democrats turned subways into hell and now give good citizens the choice between being the victim of a lunatic who kills them or a lunatic justice system that punishes anyone who stands up to the psychos.

"It’s called anarcho-tyranny.“

Let’s review the comparison. Jordan Neely had a long criminal record -- 42 arrests. He threatened passengers who made several 911 calls without a response. ". . .

. . .If New York cannot manage its homeless and mentally ill, it will have to forego the nonsense about defunding the police and place cops in the subways and on the streets, or it will be up to more people than the three men who subdued Neely to keep ordinary citizens safe from attack. Maybe the people who are failing their duties to the homeless and mentally ill are the ones who deserve to be in the dock, not those acting to defend themselves and others."

Villains, we're taking care of you; Heroes will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. TD

Biden Calls a 'Major Press Conference,' But Is Just Confused

This is the man who, in his wisdom, has done all he can to divide our nation, black against white. From his first words in power, he spoke the words "white supremacy", as learned from his former (and current) leader and mentor. He has made our nation a laughing stock before the world, doing for the Presidency what Jim Acosta did for journalism. The Tunnel Dweller

PJ Media   "Old Joe Biden almost held a “major press conference” on Friday. Or rather, he announced one, and it was briefly big news, but as it turned out, it was just the dementia talking. Good thing he didn’t declare war on anyone. How comforting it is that the adults are back in charge, eh?". . .

"Biden has held so few press conferences that whenever he announces one, it’s a significant event. David E. Clementson, an assistant professor in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, noted in a late February article at The Conversation that “it took Biden until late March 2021 to hold his first press conference, more than two months after his inauguration — the longest a new president had gone without holding a press conference in 100 years.”

What’s more, “during Biden’s first year in office, he held a total of 10 press conferences.” In fact, he has had only 21 in all, making his average for his first two years of pretending to be president just over ten per year. No president in the last 34 years has averaged so few press conferences. So on Friday, when he said he was going to have one, the excitement among the assembled Leftist media hacks was understandable.

Biden, appearing even weaker and feebler than he usually does, said softly: “Um, you know, I, I think we, we’ve got a lot of work to do, I’m, uh, and I’m doin’ a major press conference this afternoon, so, uh, I love you all, but I’d like to ask ya to leave so we can get down to business.” Biden then grinned wolfishly as various reporters asked him questions about the drone attack on the Kremlin and the risks he saw in artificial intelligence (AI); he responded that he would address all of their concerns later.". . .

New York Times White House correspondent Katie Rogers cleared it all up early Friday afternoon, tweeting: “At ease. The president was referring to his MSNBC interview tonight when he said he was delivering a ‘major’ press conference this afternoon, per 2 ppl familiar.” So the putative president of the United States was confusing a softball interview with a sycophantic far-Left network with a genuine attempt to address the real concerns of the American people by taking unscripted questions from actual journalists, some of whom don’t share his political views.

John Kennedy Explodes At Schumer, Dems' 'Loon Wing' For 'Threats' Against Supreme Court

JUST IN: John Kennedy Explodes At Schumer, Dems' 'Loon Wing' For 'Threats' Against Supreme Court - YouTube

"In remarks at the start of today's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) excoriated Democrats for their attacks on Supreme Court Justices."

Comments to this video: "I am both appalled and disgusted that Schumer was allowed to get away with these threats that he made against the US SC justices. It makes me sick. He should absolutely be ashamed of himself.

"If the Constitution is All Law. Why hasn’t Hillary or Chuck been charged? And so many other. Republicans quit talking and do something. Stand up for the Constitution of the United States and the American People. You have the evidence!! God help us

Another Reason I am No Longer a Leftist

When left-wingers and right-wingers toss out their “expertise” and “solutions” for poverty they so rarely mention one of our worst enemies, a dragon we must confront and spear on a daily basis if we don’t want to sink beneath the surface. This dragon is not laziness nor is it racism. It is learned helplessness.

Frontpage Mag   In 2014, I published an essay listing ten reasons I am no longer a leftist. Something happened last Monday that hurt my feelings a lot and reminded me of another reason: I’m poor. This is counterintuitive. The Left depicts itself as the champion of the poor; the Left depicts right-wingers as hating the poor. Backstage, behind all the speechifying about “compassion,” a very specific left-wing attitude to the poor is abhorrent to me. I encountered that attitude last Monday. I felt disgust, rage, and sorrow.

The average per capita income in my city, Paterson, NJ, is a bit more than half of the US average. One in four persons is living on less than $13,000 annually. Paterson was founded in 1791 by Alexander Hamilton. Thanks to its picturesque facades, Paterson is often used as a film set. In 2019, Steven Spielberg filmed his remake of West Side Story here. Sets are hermetically sealed. Directors, scriptwriters, actors, choreographers, composers, enter this city lugging mobile, self-contained, restaurants, dressing rooms, and even sun and rain. They never breathe the same air as a Patersonian, yet they tell the story of Paterson. When Spielberg was here, using our decaying city as his backdrop, he erected, in downtown Paterson, a set of a decaying city. He came all this way just to use his techno-Crayolas to scribble up a simulacrum of what a decaying city should really look like.

Yes, Spielberg’s set is a metaphor. People who are not poor say who the poor are, why we are poor, and what should be done about us. They script us. They choreograph us. They erect sets blocking your view of real poor people. They announce their own authority and they cry, “Authenticity!”

Everyone negatively stereotypes the poor. I’m poor and I succumb to using slurs like “redneck,” “white trash,” “trailer trash,” and “toothless.” “Redneck” refers to the sunburned necks of those who labor manually in hot sun, like my carpenter brother; like me when I was a landscaper, one of many manual labor jobs I took when I was working my way toward a PhD. “Toothless” is an insult meaning stupid, primitive, and backward. But we all know what “toothless” really means. “Toothless,” when used as an insult, means that those who can afford dental care are comfortable disdaining those who can’t.

Grassley and Comer Say They’ve Found Evidence of Biden Getting PAID OFF for ‘Policy Decisions’

Frontpage Mag

Comer declared, “The American people need to know if President Biden sold out the United States of America to make money for himself. Senator Grassley and I will seek the truth to ensure accountability for the American people.”

"Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) wrote to Gestapo chief Merrick Garland and his henchman, FBI top dog Christopher Wray, on Wednesday with some allegations that were positively explosive. Grassley and Comer say that they’ve “received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures” regarding a “criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions.” Would anyone really be surprised if it were positively determined that Old Joe Biden was paid off by foreigners to set policy in a way they dictated?

"If this is accurate, it would involve not just Biden but Barack Obama as well. This is because the vice president doesn’t have any Constitutional authority to make policy decisions, and quite aside from the Constitution, Obama, who famously said, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up”, is unlikely to have given Old Joe any real authority to do anything. So if a foreign national was paying Old Joe to make policy decisions favorable to himself, they would almost certainly have had to have the approval of the Man Whose Tan Suit Was His Only Scandal.

The implications of this cannot be understated. It would be no surprise if Old Joe were confirmed as the corrupt kleptocrat he has long been reputed to be, but if this bribery scheme did end up reaching Obama, it could have a serious impact on the Democrats’ present electoral chances and even upon their continued ability to sew up elections left and right by means of ballot harvesting, mail-in ballots, and other present-day chicanery. The only problem is that the very agencies that ought to be energetically pursuing this issue are part of the same corrupt Leftist establishment that dominates Washington. Consequently, it’s not at all clear that the truth about this will ever come out.

$50 Trillion For What? Kennedy Dumbfounds Biden Climate Peddler In Fiery Exchange Over 'Carbon Neutrality' |

 ZeroHedge

"Biden Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk highlighted the absurdity of the climate grift this week during a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing, when Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) couldn't get a straight answer out of him over the cost of going 'carbon neutral.' ". . .

Watch (with full exchange here):

 . . ."As energy expert David Blackmon writes in the Daily Caller;

And there we have it. Americans are being asked to accept the force-feeding of an incredibly radical set of policies with a price tag that is unprecedented in global history to achieve a “carbon neutrality” goal, whose benefits are so nebulous, negligible and wholly reliant on the cooperative actions of other countries beyond U.S. control that they cannot be measured in any reliable way.

Instead, we are being told by senior political appointees forcing those policies into being that we should simply trust them because they think it is the right thing to do in their “heart of hearts.”

This is madness. For some context, $50 trillion is an amount that exceeds the gross domestic product of the U.S., China, India, Germany and Japan, combined. It is a number that drastically exceeds total U.S. national debt. It is more than 135 times the $369 billion in green energy subsidies contained in last year’s Orwellian-named Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

That is five new IRAs each year for the next 27 years. Madness.

"Madness indeed."

Afghanistan Surrender Was A Tragedy Biden Caused; Now He's Blaming Others -

 The Lid (lidblog.com)

"The White House issued a bewildering 12-page report two weeks ago, defending their calamitous surrender in Afghanistan 20 months ago. This was such gaslighting that even corporate media pushed back.

"The death of 13 American military personnel, hundreds of thousands of Afghans seeking to escape the chaos, and girls who can no longer receive an education, made CBS deem the withdrawal “one of the darkest moments of the Biden presidency to date.”

"Yet the White House chose to double down on its grievous errors, declaring that Joe Biden “is very proud” of how it was carried out and insisting the evacuation was chaos free. In reality, the operation was an international catastrophe, and its consequences have been tragic.

"Biden ruined much of what our military accomplished during two decades of sacrifice in Afghanistan. The Taliban’s enormous strategic victory — with more than $7 billion worth of U.S. weapons, ammunition, aircraft, materiel, and vehicles — was given to them on a silver platter. Millions of civilians have plunged into destitution thanks to Biden’s rogue move. Many Afghans, who risked their lives to assist us, were left behind to face the wrath of the Taliban.

"The tumult that accompanied the haphazard retreat, with visions similar to Saigon’s fall, conveyed a message of American weakness that Vladimir Putin undoubtedly used as a red carpet to invade Ukraine a few months later.

"The Afghanistan debacle properly took a toll on Biden’s popularity. . ."

Navy SEAL Who Killed Bin Laden Reacts To Navy Drag Queen Digital 'Ambassador': 'I Can’t Believe I Fought For This Bullsh*t' ⋆ Conservative Firing Line

"As we and others reported, the U.S. Navy went full woke when it emulated Anheuser-Busch, using a so-called “non-binary” drag queen to work as a “digital ambassador” as part of its recruiting effort.  That prompted Rob O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who killed al Qaeda terrorist Osama bin Laden, to lash out at the Navy in a profane tweet.

“Alright. The U.S. Navy is now using an enlisted sailor Drag Queen as a recruiter. I’m done. China is going to destroy us. YOU GOT THIS NAVY. I can’t believe I fought for this bullshit,” he said on Twitter.". . .

Dem’s Smear Campaign Against SCOTUS Conservatives Boomerangs On Sotomayor -

 The Lid (lidblog.com)

"You’d almost have to be blind not to notice the full-court press in the campaign to discredit GOP-nominated members of the Supreme Court.

"Oppo research has dug up stories about friends, relations, and travel — insinuating that these Justices have been somehow ‘on the take’ when, on closer inspection, there is no evidence of rulings being influenced, of improper gifts, or even any indication that the instances cited are equal to or less than similar gifts afforded to their Democrat-nominated counterparts.

"Wave after wave of critical stories come out as if to confirm everything Justice Thomas once said in his confirmation hearings about ‘high-tech lynchings.’ The attention is always laser-focused on what they can dig up about the conservative judges.

"Critics on the right are nearly unanimous in their condemnation of this tactic as a naked attempt to discredit some judges, so they can ‘fix’ the ‘problem,’ so they can control the one branch of government that is an impediment to their agenda.". . .

REPORT: Charges Against Hunter Biden May Be Imminent –

REPORT: Charges Against Hunter Biden May Be Imminent – PJ Media "A decision on whether to charge Hunter Biden is imminent in the investigation led by U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware, according to sources cited by The Washington Post.

“ 'The people familiar with the matter said Weiss is nearing the end of his decision-making process, although they offered no specific timetable,” the report explains. “They cautioned that the probe has taken longer than some officials thought it would, frustrating some law enforcement officials, and conceivably could slow down again before a decision has been reached.”

"Biden’s lawyers reportedly met with prosecutors to receive an update on the case last week. Sources have claimed that Hunter Biden has received preferential treatment during the agency’s investigation, which has been ongoing for four years and reportedly involves potential tax crimes and gun-related charges. Two senior law enforcement sources told NBC News last month that most of the work on Hunter Biden’s case was completed around a year ago and expressed frustration over its mishandling.

“ 'Any decision could have a significant impact on President Biden, who just launched his reelection campaign, bringing national attention to a sensitive topic that aides often struggle to broach with the president,” the Washington Post admits. Newly released emails offer fresh evidence contradicting Joe Biden’s repeated denials of any knowledge regarding Hunter Biden’s business activities. The emails show that Hunter Biden was selling access to his father during the latter’s tenure as vice president under Barack Obama." . . .

The Biden 'Bribery' Report Shows Joe Must Go

Katie Pavlich   "It’s official. President Joe Biden is running for re-election and taking Vice President Kamala Harris along with him.

"In only two years at the White House, Biden has caused enormous damage to the country, threatened U.S. national security and weakened America throughout the world with his disastrous foreign policy.

"In his re-election video, Biden claims he’s standing up for the freedoms of Americans. Reality and Biden’s actions tell a different story.

"Biden has repeatedly targeted political opponents with the full force of the federal government and violated the fundamental rights of Americans. He’s destroyed the economy with sky-high inflation, implemented Marxist policies in the mortgage system (which will lead to another housing crisis) and forced hardworking Americans to pay off the student debt of wealthy degree holders. He’s made it a habit of tearing down fundamental American values about hard work and personal responsibility. All of this while partnering with his son Hunter to sell out the country to foreign adversaries.

"Biden talks about freedom, yet he’s targeting your Second Amendment rights with calls for gun bans and by signing executive orders. Government bureaucrats, with his endorsement, have violated the First Amendment through Big Tech censorship. Not to mention his efforts to fire thousands of Americans after they said no thank you to an ineffective vaccine.". . .

'The View' Somehow Managed to Get Even Worse as Writers' Strike Leaves Whoopi Totally Lost

So these women are not the bitter scolds we have thought them to be; that they voice the writer's opinions? Just as Joe Biden and KJP's words are those of someone in the bowels of the Democrat party! The Tunnel Dweller

IJR  "It turns out, the legal department’s lawyers aren’t the only writers for “The View.”

"Most Americans who are even aware of ABC’s hour-long exercise in intellectual ineptitude probably look at “The View” like a particularly annoying happy hour in a college town: A collection of wealthy, ill-informed women voicing utterly conventional opinions on the “hot topics” of the day.

"But the Writers Guild of America strike that started Tuesday revealed there’s something else going on besides the usual limousine leftist echo chamber — and Whoopi Goldberg & Co. weren’t dealing with things particularly well.

At the top of the hour, Goldberg — the de facto ringmaster of the chattering circus — announced to the viewers of “The View” that the show was going on despite the writers’ strike, and the warts might show.

They showed — almost immediately.

US Weakness Invites Iranian Attacks on Shipping in the Gulf

There is only two ways to respond to Iranian regime aggression: forceful military action, and by empowering the Iranian pro-democracy movement.

American Thinker   On Wednesday we learned that the Iranian regime has seized a second oil tanker recently in the Persian Gulf, forcing it to dock at an Iranian port under orders from the regime's "judiciary."

It was seized by Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps Go-fast boats in the Strait of Hormuz. This remains the world's most important oil transit chokepoint, according to the US Energy Information Administration, where roughly 20% of the world’s oil transits every day.

"The Pentagon subsequently informed us that these two incidents were just the latest of fifteen cases since Biden came to the White House where Iran has threatened or attacked international shipping in the Persian Gulf region.

"These kind of attacks are unacceptable. The Iranians know that, and I guarantee you our enemies and adversaries know that. And yet the Iranians act with impunity. Why?

"For starters, they know the current U.S. President. Biden has been taking money and supporting pro-Tehran regime lobbyists since at least 2002, when a group of Tehran-supporters threw a fund-raiser for him in California that brought in $30,000.". . .
