15 Rare, Never-Before-Seen Colorized Images of WWII

Obama Broke Pledge To Thwart Nuclear Terrorist Threat

Editorial; Investor’s Business Daily . . ." The falsehoods flew during the president's American University speech this week. The Iran pact is an "arrangement that permanently prohibits Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon," Obama outrageously claimed; "America can trigger snap back (of international sanctions) on our own": United Nations atomic inspectors will get "access even if Iran objects."
. . .
"But forget today's flimflam; re-familiarize yourself with Obama's claims from yesteryear of being a crusader against nuclear terrorism.
" 'The single most important national security threat that we face is nuclear weapons falling into the hands of terrorists," Obama told voters in a summer 2008 campaign ad."

With video. How much more offensive can Obama get?

How Utterly Offensive! Barack Obama Compares “Iranian Hardliners” to REPUBLICANS

"But superpowers should not act impulsively in response to talks… Just because Iranian hardliners chant ‘Death to America” does not mean that that’s what all Iranians believe. In fact, it’s those hardliners that are more satisfied with the status quo. It’s those hardliners chanting “death to America” who’ve been most opposed to the deal. They’re making common cause with the Republican Caucus."
"Some Iranian hardliners"? This is the government of Iran speaking this way! This president cannot be believed in anything he says.

Ever wonder if Neil Kinnock likes Joe Biden as much as we are supposed to?

Joe Biden plagiarised Neil Kinnock speech    "What's in a quote? For Joe Biden, his plagiarisation of a speech delivered by Neil Kinnock, then Labour leader, helped [put paid] to his own campaign to win the Democrats' presidential nomination more than 20 years ago."

Reince Priebus Throws Biden-Shaped Wrench in Clinton Machine
"Watch, via Mediaite:

“Certainly Joe Biden is far more likable,” he said, comparing the sitting VP to Hillary Clinton. He also characterized Biden as a “tougher” opponent for Republicans. “Hillary Clinton has a lot of problems. I think she is an opponent that’s easy to define.”
“I think Joe Biden is someone that a lot of people, whether they like his politics or not, they like him, and likability – you can analyze politics all you want, likability is probably the number one issue on the ballot,” Priebus added.
. . . "Priebus is right about Biden—there’s something innately human about him compared to Clinton. Where Clinton uses the fullest extent of her political machine to cover up her mistakes and foibles, Biden blows through his like a labrador puppy on Pixi Stix and Mountain Dew."

Well, I saw him at the Clarence Thomas hearings and the Biden-Ryan debate of 2012 and most certainly did NOT find him likeable. TD

Obama Administration Modifies U.S. Oath of Allegiance to Accommodate Muslims

"However, whenever Muslims find themselves under the authority of non-Islamic institutions and persons, they are permitted to feign loyalty -- even to the point of cursing Islam and pretending to have abandoned it -- with one caveat: Muslims must never take up arms on behalf of “infidels” against fellow Muslims.  In other words, their loyalty to non-Muslims must be skin deep."

Raymond Ibrahim  . . .  "The original oath required incoming citizens to declare that they will “bear arms on behalf of the United States” and “perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States” when required by the law.

"Now the USCIS says, “A candidate [to U.S. citizenship] may be eligible to exclude these two clauses based on religious training and belief or a conscientious objection.”

"The new changes further add that new candidates “May be eligible for [additional?] modifications based on religious training and belief, or conscientious objection arising from a deeply held moral or ethical code.”

"These changes serve incoming Islamic supremacists especially well.  For, while Islamic law allows Muslims to feign loyalty to non-Muslim “infidel” authorities, it bans Muslims from living up to the pretense by actually fighting or killing fellow Muslims on behalf of a non-Muslim entity, such as the United States.

"The perfectly fitting story of Nidal Hassan -- the U.S. army major and “observant Muslim who prayed daily” but then turned murderer -- comes to mind and is illustrative." . . .Read more

What Would Have Happened if Germany Had Invaded the U.S. During World War II?

Quora
 150730_QUORA_WWII

. . . "And even if the Germans had landed a sizable force here, how where they going to be resupplied? Any such force would have been trapped here until it was defeated, destroyed, or retreated. The U.S. could play at the U-boat game, and the Germans would have needed open logistics lines to keep themselves supplied. Assuming that they were somehow able to move further inland, they still would need a corridor or corridors open to the ocean for supplies and retreat. Not seeing how that could have happened.

"In addition, everybody had guns. One commonality among the nations conquered by Germany is that private firearms ownership was heavily restricted or simply banned. With no such restrictions here and given the fact that modern combined arms tactics were still in their infancy, it's difficult to see how the Germans would have avoided taking heavy casualties. The Germans would have faced an armed force at least 10 times the size of their invasion force, who were also motivated to ensure that they (the Germans) would lose." . . .

One dead and three injured as masked man, 51, armed with a gun and hatchet opens fire on Mad Max showing at Nashville movie theater after dousing the audience with pepper spray

Numerous searches have not revealed the shooter's name.

Police: Antioch shooter identified as 51-year-old local man

Gunman dead after shooting at Nashville movie theater

Daily Mail
Footage taken from a helicopter appears to show a body of the 51-year-old suspect lying at the back of the movie theater
"A suspect armed with a gun and a hatchet has been shot dead by police after injuring three people inside a busy Nashville movie theater during a screening of Mad Max.
"SWAT team cordoned off an area surrounding the Carmike 8 theater in Antioch, Tennessee, at 1:13pm on Wednesday afternoon after movie-goers alerted nearby officers to the gunman who walked in wearing a surgical mask.
"A short time later the 51-year-old local man, who has not yet been identified, was shot dead by police after escaping the theater out of the back. Witnesses say the confrontation with officers lasted up to three minutes.
"A 58-year-old man was injured after they were attacked with the axe while two women - aged 53 and 17 - were treated for chemical exposure at the scene after the suspect doused the inside of the theater with pepper spray." . . .Read more

Hillary's day so far

Why a Criminal Prosecution of Hillary Clinton Might Not Happen
. . . "The answer is not a simple one, despite the apparent gravity of Clinton’s actions. Attorney General Loretta Lynch must first agree to open a full-scale investigation, and the DOJ must then find evidence of Clinton’s criminal intent in order to prosecute. National-security lawyers say the decision to charge Clinton would depend largely on whether the offending documents were actually marked “classified.” But given the Justice Department’s history of foot-dragging in cases involving high-level government officials mishandling classified documents, Clinton may well avoid a criminal investigation altogether — much less a prosecution." . . .

Biden Poses With Sam Power, Who Called Hillary 'Monster'
" Joe Biden, who is considering a run for president, posed today in front of reporters with Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Should Biden decide to run for president, he'd face Hillary Clinton, whom Power called a "monster" in the 2008 campaign."

Tim Allen Just SLAMMED Hillary In A HUGE Way, I Knew I Loved This Guy
" For many of us, we remember him as Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor from the family comedy Home Improvement, but as it turns out, Tim Allen is a staunch right-winger. Even better yet, he just took aim at presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in a huge way – this is going to be awesome." . . .

Tim Allen Just SLAMMED Hillary In A HUGE Way, I Knew I Loved This Guy
. . . “We’re going to drill Hillary,” Allen said during a Television Critics Association Q&A session. “It will be horrible personally if Hillary continued [to lead the Democrats], but it will be great for the storyline if she continues.”

"Fortunately, no one is off the table for Allen, as GOP candidates could even find themselves on the receiving end of a few shots. Now, we can only imagine how nervous the heads are over at ABC, as they’ve already expressed a certain level of concern when it comes to Allen cracking jokes at President Barack Obama – especially when he refers to him as a communist."

NC County Commission Chairman Walks Out after Muslim Invocation

Breitbart
 Muslim
"On Monday night in Lincoln County, North Carolina, Lincoln County Commission Chairman Carrol Mitchem walked out of the commission’s meeting when the invocation started with a Muslim prayer." . . .
" Within the last week, nearby Rowan County filed an appeal of U.S. District Judge James Beaty’s May ruling that the county’s practice of starting meetings with Christian prayers violated the First Amendment. The judge’s decision was prompted by a lawsuit from the ACLU in 2013. The commission had previously decided to allow all faiths access to the invocation in order to avoid lawsuits."

Hard Truth for the GOP from its Base

 Political Cartoons by Steve Breen
American Thinker   " The failure of the Republican presidential field (with one notable exception) to stand with its own voters on the burning issue of our time -- mass uncontrolled and unresisted illegal immigration to America -- is one of the most infuriating examples of electoral incompetence in living memory. Not only is this issue central to the concerns of an overwhelming majority of regular Republican and conservative voters, but it is the issue most likely to carve off substantial numbers of regular Democratic voters.  In short, vigorously opposing the ongoing, unprecedented, presidentially invited and abetted invasion of America across its southern border is not only obviously the right policy for the country on its merits, but very possibly the only issue with the potential to carry the Republican nominee not merely to victory but to decisive victory." . . .Read more

Why doesn't President Obama address the nation about the climate change crisis?

"My guess is that President Obama is avoiding Congress (and public opinion) because he knows he's got a very weak hand."

 Political Cartoons by Henry Payne
Silvio Canto, Jr.   "President Obama is flying solo again, as The Wall Street Journal tells us:

Rarely do American Presidents display the raw willfulness that President Obama did Monday in rolling out his plan to reorganize the economy in the name of climate change. Without a vote in Congress or even much public debate, Mr. Obama is using his last 18 months to dictate U.S. energy choices for the next 20 or 30 years. This abuse of power is regulation without representation.
The so-called Clean Power Plan commands states to cut carbon emissions by 32% (from 2005 levels) by 2030. This final mandate is 9% steeper than the draft the Environmental Protection Agency issued in June 2014.
The damage to growth, consumer incomes and U.S. competitiveness will be immense—assuming the rule isn’t tossed by the courts or rescinded by the next Administration.
"Yes, what about the damage to the U.S. economy?
"What about the damage to the U.S. Constitution and the presidency?
"Let me make this suggestion to President Obama:

1) Address the nation, and tell us about the threat of climate change, in much the same way as previous presidents have spoken about problems.  Climate change is either a crisis or a lot of hot air.  Obama should treat it like a crisis if he believes that it is one.
2) Tell us how a failure to act will devastate our economy and national security and affect people all over the world.
3) Send Congress a proposal that he can eventually sign into law.
"Why won't he do any of this?  Why won't he make his case to the American people?
"My guess is that President Obama is avoiding Congress (and public opinion) because he knows he's got a very weak hand.
"In other words, all of this climate change doom and gloom sounds good until you actually put it to a debate."

Epic fail: Donald Trump turns Gawker cell phone attack into campaign gold

Joe Newby
Gawker thought it would humiliate Trump, but ends up on losing end of the stick.

Gawker thought it would humiliate Trump, but ends up on losing end of the stick.

"Gawker should have known better than to take on a media-savvy mogul like Donald Trump. On Monday, the publication released Trump's cell phone number in an apparent effort to humiliate him for releasing Sen. Lindsey Graham's number. But, Breitbart.com reported Tuesday, Trump turned the tables, using his cell phone as a tool to get out his campaign message.

" 'Thank you @gawker!" Trump tweeted. "Call me on my cellphone 917.756.8000 and listen to my campaign message." Now, thanks to Gawker, everyone who calls the number can hear Trump's message. We tested the number and sure enough, Trump can be heard telling callers how they can help "make America great." The voicemail box is full, however, so no one can leave a message.

" 'So what cellphone number do we use to book an interview with you, sir?" one person asked. "The Donald Trumps the Commie Journalist," another person tweeted. "It's evident considering the epic media fails in this orchestrated attempt to destroy Trump!" a third person declared." . . .
