Gutfeld! 11/30/24 Gutfeld celebrate the victory of Trump by a cross section of Americans

Fun video until 28:04 at which the video makes a strange exit.

Know the Signs!

The American Catholic  "News that I missed, courtesy of The Babylon Bee:

"Alcoholism is a dangerous condition affecting millions across the United States each and every year, from the poorest among us to even very powerful government officials. It’s important to know when you have a problem so you can seek the help you need. Here are nine signs to look for when determining if you are an alcoholic:"

  1. Your sentences often don’t make sense. – If you find yourself saying things like “the significance of the passage of time” or “space connects us all,” you might want to seek help.
  2. You sometimes wake up in the morning to find you posted embarrassing videos on the internet. – Drunk-posting is a sign your life is out of control.
  3. You wake up from alcohol-induced blackouts with fragmented memories of having run for president. – If you’re having vague flashes of Beyonce, Lizzo, and Mark Hamill all endorsing you for president and calling you “brat,” you need help.
  4. You make poor decisions like picking Tim Walz as your VP. – Alcoholism can inhibit our decision-making, and this can affect our lives and careers in negative ways.
  5. You find yourself drinking during stressful times such as difficult work days, cabinet meetings, and presidential debates. – Being drunk during big career moments is a sign you are a slave to alcohol.
  6. Your head hurts a lot in the mornings, as though you just fell out of a coconut tree. – If you find yourself saying, “Doug, get the ibuprofen” every morning, take a good, long look in the mirror.
  7. You drink in unsafe situations such as while you’re in control of a motor vehicle or while you’re in control of an entire country. – Driving a car, or a country, under the influence is illegal and dangerous.

"Go here to read the rest.  The woman needs an intervention rather than sycophants wish casting future political races for her."

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Now Says She Will Assist President Trump’s Deportation Force to Get Rid of Illegals with Criminal Backgrounds (Video)

. . .“But I’ll tell you this, those who come here legally, we want to get them jobs. I have 460,000 open jobs in the state of New York. I want them to get the proper work permits. I want them to keep their temporary protective status, if that’s what they have. I want to make sure that they’re part of contributing to society while they’re here.”

"“That’s separate from people who are criminals. Someone breaks the law, I’ll be the first one to call up ICE and say, ‘Get them out of here.'”

"“There is a difference in categories of individuals. I just had a meeting this morning with my team that’s been studying all the scenarios that could play out over the next few months and what we need to do to prepare. We’ll be announcing more about that. And also making sure that our final requests to the Biden administration are secure. And so that’s something else.”

“Again, I’ll do a report on what we’ve achieved in the next couple of weeks.”

"A reporter asked for clarification, “Just to be clear, are you supportive or not supportive of deporting undocumented immigrants whose only crime is either crossing the border or overstaying?”

" 'If they’re here with legal papers, like they came and they were seeking asylum, like this 224,000 people came to New York, they’re here legally in search of asylum, and that process will play out.”

“ 'But there are other people who commit crimes or are known to be criminals before they arrived here. When those are identified, I’ll be the first one to help get rid of them. I don’t want them here. I don’t want anybody terrorizing my citizens. So that’s the difference.' ”

Don’t Let the Left Do to Pete Hegseth What It Did to Brett Kavanaugh

Don’t Let the Left Do to Pete Hegseth What It Did to Brett Kavanaugh

It’s become a familiar story.

"A man is about to reach an upper echelon of public life when an accusation from his past resurfaces.

"Sometimes it’s a bad joke made in a woman’s presence or a rebuffed advance while the man was in a supervisor role.

"Other times it’s far more serious accusations of assault.

"The latter is what is happening right now to Donald Trump’s pick for secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth.

"It’s the Brett Kavanaugh show all over again."

Sharon Stone, Alec Baldwin Embody ‘Out-of-Touch Hollywood Elitism’ at Italian Film Festival

 Legal Insurrection

Renowned economist and political commentator Thomas Sowell once asked, “Why do actors — people whose main talent is faking emotions — think that their opinions should be directing the course of political events in the real world? Yet it is a mistake that they have been making as far back as John Wilkes Booth.”

"In Turin, Italy, for the Torino Film Festival, actors Sharon Stone and Alec Baldwin showed us precisely why we hate Hollywood. We’ll start with Stone who blamed President-elect Donald Trump’s victory on “Americans who don’t travel, who 80% don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.”

"The “Basic Instinct” star spoke at a press event on the sidelines of the festival. She was asked to comment on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women which fell on Monday. Stone, who is clearly still reeling from Vice President Kamala Harris’s loss, responded with a tirade about politics and fascism.

"Sounding quite a bit like Jane Fonda, either by design or for no reason at all, Stone began by saying, “We have to stop and think about who we choose for government. And if, in fact, we are actually choosing our government or if the government is choosing itself.”

You know, Italy has seen fascism. Italy has seen these things. You guys, you understand what happens. You have seen this before.

My country is in the midst of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naïve and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.

We haven’t seen this before in our country. So Americans who don’t travel, who 80 percent don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.

What I can say is that the only way that we can help with these issues, is to help each other.

"Even by Hollywood’s lofty standards, Stone’s comments—delivered with an air of imperiousness—exhibited an astonishing degree of disdain for her fellow Americans. Unsurprisingly, the backlash was swift and intense."

The Culture The Media Is Creating Really Sucks. Case in point, Joy Reid

Derek Hunter

"The only reason I can figure as to why the left needs to elevate and normalize deviant behavior – and that’s what it is, whether you’re into it or not (go look up the word; I didn’t create it) – is to normalize it." . . .

"Anyone who has ever dated (sorry liberals, ask someone normal what it’s like to have a date) knows about mixed signals – “Does she like me or doesn’t she?” It’s part of the human dance for which there is no guide or good advice because you’ll never know at all until you know it all. But that’s just dating, part of growing up. What you grow up in is a big part of that experience, and what people are growing up in right now is pretty much a toilet, in no small part, thanks to the media. It’s time to flush it.

"I’m no prude, so I don’t mean to come off sounding like one, but as an avid media consumer for work, I can’t help but notice just how horrible the media is. And while you can avoid media consumption, you can’t avoid its ramifications. Let me explain.

"Whenever I tweet or write something about a movie, a TV show, or anything related to popular culture, I inevitably get messages from people proudly declaring they “don’t have cable” or “haven’t been to the movies in 30 years” because all those companies are horrible, which they are. However, someone’s ignorance of pop culture does not exempt them from its implications. You’re impacted by it, whether you like it or not. If some kid pees in a big pool you’re in, you’re going to swim through some pee, no matter how far away from that kid you were when they peed. You can say you’ll just get out of the pool, but we’re all fish…

. . ."Then there’s this one with the headline, “The shocking truths I learned about men when, as a 41-year-old mother, I tried to open an ‘ethical’ brothel that was safe for women.” Again, on what planet is whatever this person learned “news”? " .

Why on earth does MSNBC keep Joy Reid? Why does MSNBC continue to exist?

"Joy Reid is very possibly the most racist, bigoted, angry, and hostile person ever to have a voice on cable TV, with the possible exception of Lawrence O’Donnell and Keith Olbermann.  No one watches either of them or cares an iota about their rantings unless they are equally insane.  Joy Reid is the queen of the most vitriolic hate and rage against all white people. "

. . ."MSNBC has for years and years been the advance team for the hate-American crowd.  Their demise, if on the horizon, will be a welcome reprieve for all the patriots who love America and want their country back."   Video:‘Extraordinary’: Joy Reid under fire for ‘unhinged’ Thanksgiving rant

Republicans Face Narrowest House Majority in 90 Years, Thanks to California’s Ballot Harvesting, Etc.— If GOP Loses Just One Vote, Their Bill Will Die

The Gateway Pundit   "Now that counting has finally been completed in lawless California, where elections no longer take place, a mad dash of ballot harvesting and illegal voters determines elections in the Golden State today.

"Republicans lost their final seat when Derek Tran ousted Michelle Steel after three weeks of counting and collecting suspect ballots in Orange County. Tran was declared the winner the day before Thanksgiving.

The Republicans will hold their smallest lead when Congress convenes in January.
Leftist CNN’s Harry Enten, a senior data analyst, sounded the alarm on the historically slim GOP majority, pointing out that if current projections hold, the Republican advantage could be the smallest in nearly a century.
"As it stands, Republicans are projected to hold just 220 seats compared to the Democrats’ 215. This razor-thin margin leaves little room for error, particularly as President Trump has announced nominations for three key Republican members—Elise Stefanik, Matt Gaetz, and Mike Waltz—to join his administration." . . .
So the bottom line is, look, the results from the November elections weren’t exactly good for Democrats, but this is a shining light for them. They really did hold the Republican majority down. And given the likely resignations that are coming, that House of Representatives for the Republicans—that House majority—is going to be record small.

Megyn Kelly Obliterates Pete Hegseth Accuser from ALL Legal Angles – Here’s Why Charges were Never Filed and What Really Happened in Monterey

The Gateway Pundit

Video here

"The fake news has been all over Pete Hegseth this week regarding a sexual assault allegation from 2017 that was previously investigated and dropped by the Monterey Police Department.

"There was a reason charges were never filed. And the legacy media knows this.  They are pushing this slanderous attack against Pete Hegseth anyway because they really, really care about powerful men abusing innocent women and children… except, of course, if those powerful men include serial abusers like Bill Clinton or gropers like Joe Biden.

"The media rushed to humiliate and slander President Trump’s nominee for Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, this week with leaks about a years-old sexual assault allegation that was already investigated by police.

"In 2017, Monterey, California, police investigated an allegation made by a married woman [Jane Doe] who claimed Pete Hegseth sexually assaulted her at a political event, but they found no evidence to support her claims. Hegseth claimed the encounter was consensual.

"Video footage appears to show a consensual encounter. Video footage also appears to show that it was Hegseth and not the accuser who was slightly intoxicated while the accuser did not appear impaired at all from video footage." . . .

Fani Willis’s Case Against Trump Is Nearly Unpardonable — Raising Possibility of a State Prosecution of a Sitting President

The New York Sun
"The Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel reckons that there is a “categorical” prohibition on prosecuting a sitting president. Ms. Willis is under no such restriction, largely because the vulnerability of a sitting president to state prosecution has never arisen — until now." . . .

"When President-elect Trump takes the oath of office on January 20, the Constitution ordains that he “shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States.”
"That has been taken to cover federal crimes, but not state ones — like the ones brought by the district attorney of Fulton County, Fani Willis. She charged Trump and 18 others with racketeering and other crimes against the Peach State in connection to efforts to reverse the result of the 2020 presidential election.
"The prosecutions of Ms. Willis and of the district attorney of Manhattan, Alvin Bragg, have, alongside Trump’s victory in November, opened up hitherto unexplored constitutional terrain: Can a president be prosecuted for state crimes while in office? The answer to that question could determine the fate of Ms. Willis and Mr. Bragg’s cases — and the scope of the protections of the presidency. "
"Pardons for state crimes usually reside within the purview of the highest executive authority in the state — the governor. Georgia is led by Governor Kemp, a prominent Republican who has had a fraught — to put it mildly — relationship with the 45th president, now the 47th president-elect."Mr. Kemp opposed President Trump’s efforts in 2020 to overturn President Biden’s win in Georgia, and the president-elect backed his opponent two years later. He also called Mr. Kemp a “disloyal guy” and a “very average governor. … Little Brian, little Brian Kemp, bad guy.” The two let bygones be bygones this year, when Mr. Kemp endorsed Trump — and Georgia swung Republican."Even if Mr. Kemp was moved to pardon Trump with respect to Ms. Willis’s prosecution, Georgia law ties his hands. The state is one of only six where pardons are granted by an independent board — the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles. Unlike the presidential pardon power, where a conviction is not necessary, Georgia requires not only a “guilty” verdict or plea but also a five-year waiting period before a pardon can be issued." . . .

Don't stretch the meaning of 'genocide' | Natasha Hausdorff

 Infidel Bloggers

Natasha Hausdorff - Wikipedia

. . ."On 2 October 2023 Hausdorff opined that because Israel's opponents had noted that warfare and terror attacks had not achieved their goal of eliminating Israel, they had taken a different approach to attack Israel.[21] She called this approach "lawfare," meaning the abuse of the law for political means.[21] She is of the opinion that many of the cases brought against Israel before international bodies such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) are based on falsehoods and the manipulation of international law.[21] She said that even if such a case is not successful, those bringing it benefit in public relations , as they generate negative media attention about Israel.[21] She believes as well that lawfare creates "pseudo international law that operates on a double standard concerning the Jewish state."[21]"

. . .Blood libels

[edit]

"On 27 October 2023 Hausdorff said that the underlying cause of the shift in world opinion against Israel as the war against Hamas carried on was that people attributed an evil intent to Israel, irrespective of any evidence against it, which was reminiscent of "some of the worst attributes of the antisemitic blood libels of old. They are here in an updated form."[22]" . . .

The Dems’ Thanksgiving Story Deserves To Be Known

Ann Coulter  . . ."It’s also becoming more evident that leftists are complete frauds, as in the Hitler was a socialist podcast that discussed the fact that collectivism has always been a top-down imposition from the far-left ruling class upon the people, whether they want it or not. Usually not. Because most people with a fair amount of common sense know that the ridiculous concepts of collectivism can never work.  Thus, the left’s incessant reliance on lies and deception, keeping those at bay keeps the leftist away.

The left is falling apart because it's tied to a failed ideology — collectivism — in its many forms and variations.  It’s also based on many big lies — in this case, that the Democrats are the “party of the people” and that they are the agents of change — a dead end if there ever were one.

"It’s our job to help the party in its quest for self-destruction and finally be rid of the scourge of collectivism, then everyone will be happy."

The Democrat party is disintegrating, warns the New York Times—so let's speed up the process   . . ."It’s also becoming more evident that leftists are complete frauds, as in the Hitler was a socialist podcast that discussed the fact that collectivism has always been a top-down imposition from the far-left ruling class upon the people, whether they want it or not. MAGA Scares-a the Crapola Outa the Mullahs: Iran Caves, Calls Off Israeli Attacks, Promises to Be Good

Scott Pinsker

One of Donald Trump’s greatest strengths is his knowledge and appreciation of leverage. He knows how to use it against others, and he knows what it feels like when it’s wielded against him."  . . .

"Just a few months ago, everything was different. Remember?

"Iran was on the warpath. Awash with petro-dollars (and just plain dollars, courtesy of the Biden administration), the Iranian mullahs were clearly the ascending power in their region. Meanwhile, Israel was ravaged by terrorist invaders; their one-proud intelligence services and military were exposed as inadequate. The Iranian proxy militaries surrounding the Jewish homeland (as well as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and more) kept a gun pointed at their enemies’ heads. This was the New World Order in the Middle East.

"America’s allies were on their heels.

"Iran thundered in apocalyptic prose: Israel will be destroyed! Death to America! Destroy the infidels! Kill the Jews! The future is ours!

"General Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, smugly told the media, “Iran’s response to the Zionist aggression is definite. We are capable of destroying all that the Zionists possess with one operation.”

"At least, Fadavi felt that way on October 31, when he issued that statement. Since then, America had a pretty big presidential election. (You might’ve heard about it.) But if you haven’t, here’s the highlight: The crazy, scary Orange Man is back in the saddle.

"And suddenly, Iran’s singing a dramatically different tune." . . .
