Antifa celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder before panicking over backlash

The Post Millennial Senior Editor Andy Ngo has criticised Antifa for celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder but stated the group is “quite concerned” with the “anger” at the assassination.   “In the immediate hours in the first two days after the assassination, all of the Antifa all around the world were celebrating, and they were celebrating not just that Mr Kirk was assassinated, but that somebody with his views was killed,” Mr Ngo told Sky News host James Morrow. “They were surprised at the unity in the backlash and anger at what happened … They really thought this would be another killing that would just be either ignored by the media. “They’re quite concerned, and they are discussing ways for how to sabotage the right because they really fear the pendulum changing.”

Daily Signal video; Victor Davis Hanson    "Charlie Kirk’s death ignited a fire within Western civilization, and it is sending a message to the Left: No more.
"It’s been one week since Kirk was shot dead while debating on a college campus, and the Right is reacting more viscerally than we’ve seen from it in recent memory. Not only that, but we’re seeing worldwide support for Kirk, mass demonstrations against illegal immigration in Europe, the fall of France’s government, and a grassroots movement saying, “Enough is enough,” here in America. Victor Davis Hanson analyzes the events that pushed the West to its boiling point and where we go from here on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” "“What is this moment? We're seeing it in the United States with thousands of people are commemorating the death of Charlie Kirk. There's no tolerance for the usual left-wing, socialist craziness, the abhorrent violent smears of conservatives who've died. And you don't see major bureaucrats, or generals, or Hollywood figures—increasingly, they're not coming out and rejoicing because they feel that they're going to get a big pushback. “ We also are tired of what I call boutique anti-Americanism. We see Ilhan Omar suggesting that our elected government is worse than the dictatorship in Somalia; or we see AOC calling Donald Trump a fascist, as she has in the past; or we see Rashida Tlaib just demonizing and damning the United States, even though her parents fled the Middle East to come here. And we're tired of it. It doesn't mean we're gonna outlaw free speech or try to use the same tactics as the critics of America do. But what we're saying is, we're a unique place. We're better than the alternative. We don't have to be perfect to be good. So, you can say all you want, but we're gonna not just ignore you, we're gonna do our best to make sure your voices have no influence.” . . .

AOC's Considering 2028 Presidential Run

 JFeed

"One thing's certain: In a polarized America, her 2028 play could redefine the battle lines, forcing the party to confront its soul or risk implosion."

"Progressive powerhouse Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), the self-styled champion of the far-left "Squad," is stealthily gearing up for a seismic 2028 leap, mulling a audacious White House run or a Senate showdown that could upend Democratic leadership, according to a bombshell Axios report. As the Democratic Party grapples with internal fractures and a quest for identity post-2024, AOC's maneuvers signal her unyielding ambition to reshape American politics, love her or loathe her, she's positioning to dominate the narrative.
Performing for the press
"Sources close to the 35-year-old congresswoman reveal she's quietly building a war machine: Expanding her national footprint with town halls far beyond her Bronx-Queens stronghold, pumping millions into turbocharging her social media empire, and compiling a massive database of potential backers and donors. This isn't casual networking, it's calculated empire-building, with AOC's team dissecting every angle of a presidential primary blitz or a Senate challenge, potentially targeting vulnerable incumbents like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) or Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).                                "No official call yet, but the tea leaves are clear: AOC has morphed from a 2018 upset victor – ousting a Democratic establishment dinosaur – into one of the party's most electrifying and divisive figures. Her Green New Deal zealotry, unapologetic socialism, and viral takedowns of corporate titans have amassed a cult-like following among young progressives, while drawing fire from moderates and Republicans who brand her policies as economically reckless and out-of-touch. Critics warn her ascent could splinter Democrats further, handing Republicans easy ammo in a post-Trump era where economic populism clashes with woke agendas." . . .

EntertainmentJUST IN: Dems’ Kimmel Narrative Crumbles As Real Reasons For His Suspension Emerge; September 19, 2025

Trending Politics

"The outlet reported that Kimmel had plans to address the controversy on his next episode, but his team had run out of time to do a live taping. By then, roughly 66 of the 200 stations where Kimmel would have been broadcast were promised to be offline."

"Hothead Jimmy Kimmel felt he had nothing to apologize for, he told ABC and Disney executives as his media blackout and boycott grew from a rolling snowball into an avalanche.

"Kimmel had just finished mocking MAGA Republicans on his Tuesday night episode when alarm bells went off inside ABC studios. By injecting himself directly into the finger-pointing game between defenders and detractors of Charlie Kirk, Kimmel had put ABC and Disney in the crosshairs of the culture war, they feared.

"Discussions between network executives and Kimmel had not yet reached the desk of Disney CEO Bob Iger, but they were close. Those familiar with the talks say Kimmel was presented with an ultimatum: Apologize for suggesting Tyler Robinson, Kirk’s suspected killer, was a Trump supporter, or face the consequences, which were not yet known to either side.

“ 'We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said during the monologue.

"A “social media s**tstorm” quickly followed, an insider said, but then subsided.

"Participants had just enough time to take a breath before Brendan Carr, chair of the Federal Communications Commission, fanned the flames in an interview where he suggested ABC could lose its broadcasting license for airing one-sided political commentary.

"That’s when the storm “became a bigger swirl,” the source told the Hollywood Reporter." . . .

Grifters Desecrating Charlie Kirk’s Memory Could Implode MAGA

"Fringe opportunists on the Right are trying to twist Charlie Kirk’s murder to further their own antisemitic ends."

The American Spectator

"The body of my friend Charlie Kirk, who was tragically assassinated last week during a campus event in Utah by a leftist transgender-adjacent “furry” fetishist   , had barely returned home to Arizona before some grifters on the ostensible “right” started trying to capitalize on his memory."

Jewish Student Asks Charlie Kirk About Candace Owens, This Was His Response!

. . . "Disgraced podcaster Candace Owens, never one to miss any opportunity to slander Jewish people, took precious time away from her Brigitte Macron legal defense to suggest that Jewish people or the Jewish state of Israel were somehow involved in Kirk’s assassination. To hear Owens tell it: Kirk, a lifelong vocal supporter of the Jewish people and the Jewish state, was souring on Israel and was getting close to publicly adopting a hostile stance. Oh, and what’s more — per Owens, Bill Ackman, the billionaire hedge funder and proud Zionist, staged an “intervention” with Kirk during a retreat last month in the Hamptons, where Ackman pressured Kirk to “get in line” on the Israel issue. Notably, numerous high-profile cable news has-beens have legitimized Owens’ outrageous laundering of a left-wing political assassination into an antisemitic caper.

"Where to begin?

"I spoke with Kirk less than 24 hours before his untimely death. The night before, a right-wing rabbi friend and I held a Zoom call with Kirk and a few others. During this call, Kirk, an unapologetic Christian Zionist who was greatly distressed by rising antisemitism in some pockets of the Right, asked us a series of Israel-related questions that he anticipated receiving on his upcoming campus tour. We answered those questions and provided messaging advice for how to best communicate and win over students. At one point, Kirk joked to me that he would simply direct students toward my book, Israel and Civilization, when Israel came up on tour. It beggars belief that someone on the verge of renouncing Israel would organize this call just before embarking on a campus tour." . . .

Lies, Damned Lies, And Leftist Media Lies About An Assassin

. . . "A relative said the following: “He hates conservatives and Christians,” the relative said. “He hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached (and) been radicalized.”

"There are, in fact, no indications whatsoever that Robinson was, as popular leftist substack writer Heather Cox Richardson (hat tip: Dylan on X) falsely described him: “a young white man from a Republican, gun-enthusiast family, who appears to have embraced the far right, disliking Kirk for being insufficiently radical.”

"Any evidence of this? Of course not. There is zero evidence. But that didn’t stop her from getting an immediate 7,000 likes for her post." . . .

Blame Social Media, Guns, Vacuums — Anything but Transgenders

 Ann Coulter

Obviously, ideas like this can only survive in a sensory deprivation chamber, stripped of dissenting voices — no conservative guests, no op-eds by Sen. Tom Cotton, no conservative college speakers, no unapproved economists who’ve calculated the transgenders per capita rate of mass shootings.

"The biggest development coming out of Charlie Kirk’s murder last week is that the gun isn’t to blame. This time, “social media” did it.
"On Sunday, The New York Times published an idiotic op-ed to that effect by Nathan Taylor Pemberton, who “writes about extremism and American politics,” and whose last article for The Nation magazine was presciently titled: “Why the Right Fantasizes About Death and Destruction.” So we know he’s a fair broker.
"Long after it had been established that Kirk’s shooter, Tyler Robinson, was in a romantic relationship with a transgender, Pemberton proclaimed: “The only thing that can be said conclusively about Mr. Robinson, at this moment, is that he was a chronically online, white American male.”
"Really? Was that the only thing that stuck out about the accused shooter?
"If Pemberton’s right, we can narrow down future assassins to the 99% of the population that’s online — with the exception of people over 65, only a paltry 90% of whom are online, according to Pew Research.
"I don’t know how the FBI’s profiling unit missed this.
"On further thought, the usefulness of “chronically online” as a red flag is severely hampered by the fact that it encompasses the entire f-ing population. Most Americans spend more than 10 hours a day online, according to a recent survey. The only less helpful characterization would have been “mammal.”
"Is there something — anything else — that stands out about a murderer who was living with his transgender partner?
"Transgenders are, at most, 1% of the population. That’s about the same as the percentage of Americans who are deaf, missing a limb, have eyes of two different colors or support Stacey Abrams for any elected office.
"Here are some of the most notorious recent public murders. Would it be at all odd if each of these had been committed by a deaf person?". . .

Kamala Throws Tim Walz Under the Bus.

 PJ Media

"Kamala Harris has finally confirmed what many already suspected: Tim Walz was never her first choice as a running mate. According to an excerpt from her new book 107 Days, Kamala openly admits that Pete Buttigieg was originally at the top of her list. She ultimately decided against him, however, not because of his disastrous tenure in the Biden administration or his qualifications, but because she feared that the country couldn’t handle the combination of a black woman and a gay man on the same ticket.

"In her words, “Buttigieg would have been an ideal partner—if I were a straight white man.” That’s about as blunt as it gets, and it leaves Walz looking like the political equivalent of being picked last in gym.

"It’s not a good look for Kamala or for Walz. For anyone who thought Walz was chosen for his leadership or his accomplishments, Kamala has now erased that illusion with one chapter.

He wasn’t chosen because he was the best candidate, but because he was seen as the safest bet — a bland, middle-of-the-road option who wouldn’t bring “extra baggage” to the ticket. Which is hilarious because ultimately, he did bring baggage to the campaign. Between his stolen valor, his draconian COVID policies, and his affinity for putting tampons in boys' restrooms, the “safe” Tim Walz ended up being as much of a liability as a running mate possibly could be.

"Still, it’s a humiliating admission. Imagine being introduced as vice presidential material, only to discover later that you were basically a last-resort fallback. That’s essentially what Kamala is telling the country.

"Harris’s treatment of Walz is particularly striking because many had already speculated that he wasn’t her top choice. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro was long rumored to be on her shortlist, but that was a major no-no because the Democratic Party has become increasingly antisemitic. Reports also suggested that other Democrats she approached simply turned her down. It was hardly a sign of strength going into 2024; it was more like desperation dressed up as strategy. Now, instead of doubling down on choosing Walz, Harris essentially threw him under the bus." . . .

Dems Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Murder Spark Historic Party-Switching Wave to GOP

And stop calling the killer a "shooter". He is and will forever be the "murderer". TD

 PJ Media

Kirk's murder was meant to silence conservative voices through intimidation and violence. Instead, it's created a political martyrdom that's energizing the right while exposing the left's tolerance for political violence when it serves their purposes.

"The assassination of Charlie Kirk has become a defining moment in American politics, and not just because of the tragedy itself. When Tyler Robinson gunned down Kirk last week at Utah Valley University, he didn’t just take a life; he exposed a shocking reality: Some on the left celebrated the attack. That reaction has now triggered what’s being called the “Charlie Kirk effect,” a historic wave of Democrats abandoning their party and joining the GOP.

"The numbers tell the story better than any pundit could. According to a report from The New York Post, across states like Florida and New Mexico, voter registration offices are reporting unprecedented surges in people switching from Democrat to Republican. These are Americans who watched the left's reaction to Kirk's murder and decided they'd seen enough.

“ 'I’m switching parties to protest. I understand that the right also has certain character flaws, but it doesn’t culminate in sympathy for political violence,” said Sheilfer Zepeda, a 31-year-old avocado farmer and software entrepreneur from California, reacting to Democrats celebrating the assassination. “Attempted assassinations of presidential candidates, public executions of healthcare CEOs and political influencers seems to be in line with what leftists want.”

"Zepeda further analyzed his old party. “After all, in revolutionary socialist doctrine, political violence is necessary and justified, which is why we see so many people trying to intellectualize these assassinations in the first place. I just simply cannot align with the direction things are going in.”

"Christopher Elton, a restaurant manager from Bucks County, Pa., said Kirk’s death “definitely encouraged” him to register as a Republican last week.

“ 'There’s more peace on the right compared to the left. And I’m almost embarrassed for voting left in my life,” he said. “I was always more of a policy voter than party affiliated. I slowly moved toward faith and religion and Jesus, and learned a lot through Charlie Kirk. He wasn’t argumentative. He brought you facts. If he was wrong, he’d be the first one to say it.” . . .

Shocking And Rare Footage Of WW1 On Film

"To be able to encompass such a broad spectrum of detail within less than an hour is an accomplishment. Included within is background to the lead up of the war developing, detail about how, when and where chemical weapons were first used. And a lot more detail about how the persistent Middle East tensions were cast during the First World War. In my opinion, this video would be ideal learning material for anyone who knows little about the so called “Great War”

‘Remember That’: Greg Gutfeld Decodes Obama, Cohost ‘Both Sides’ Argument After Charlie Kirk’s Murder

. . . "These are news anchors, these are politicians, these are college professors that are actually legitimizing this and saying it over and over again, these are why this is different," Gutfeld said of calling people on the right Nazis and fascists." . . .

Obama Implies Trump to Blame for Charlie Kirk Assassination: ‘Extreme Views Were Not in My White House’   . . . "He mourned Kirk’s death, saying it was “horrific,” but made sure to recite an (inaccurate) laundry list of Kirk’s more controversial statements, including a false claim that Kirk claimed black women were stupid.

"Obama then said that Trump wanted to use Kirk’s assassination as “a rationale for trying to silence discussion around who we are as a country and what direction we should go.” He then claimed that when he had been in the White House, “those extreme views were not in my White House. I wasn’t embracing them. I wasn’t empowering them. I wasn’t putting the weight of the United States government behind extremist views.”

"In fact, it was Obama who inaugurated an era of division and extremism. On the campaign trail in 2008, he encouraged his supporters to confront friends and neighbors, and “argue with them, get in their face.' ” . . .  On the campaign trail in 2008, he encouraged his supporters to confront friends and neighbors, and “argue with them, get in their face.”

Obama Couldn't Help but Take Vile Swipe at Trump in New Comments on Charlie Kirk's Assassination   . . . "Obama also found the temerity to insist that, while there are fringe elements on both sides of the political aisle, he never pushed divisive rhetoric during his time in the White House.

" 'But I will say that — those extreme views were not in my White House," he said. "I wasn't embracing them. I wasn't empowering them. I wasn't putting the weight of the United States government behind extremist views."

" 'When we have the weight of the United States government behind extremist views, we've got a problem."

"The absolute balls it takes to say that when we've spent the past decade hearing Obama, Biden, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and on and on refer to Trump supporters - half the nation - as "fascists" or "Nazis" or an "existential threat" to the country is mind-numbing.

"Obama was one of the most divisive presidents in this country's history. He quite literally used the death of Trayvon Martin as a springboard to create a massive racial divide in this country during his presidency.

"As for calling political opponents "enemies"? Yeah, he did that too.

"Some would suggest Obama was so divisive during his presidency that it actually led to Mr. Trump's shocking victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016. The divisiveness, relentless weaponization of government, and the violent threats from his party under Biden's reign helped bring us Trump 2.0.

"Here again, Obama demonstrates that divisiveness, suggesting the violent rhetoric is equal on both sides of the political spectrum (it isn't) and taking an unnecessary swipe at both Trump and Kirk, two victims of targeted political violence." . . .

Israel's Largest Ground Invasion of Gaza City Has Begun?

AI Telly

. . . "The Israeli ground invasion of Gaza City represents a marked departure from previous offensives in both its ambition and execution. "Unlike past operations that primarily aimed to weaken Hamas’s military capabilities or target specific infrastructure, this campaign is openly focused on the complete seizure and control of Gaza City. "Israeli officials objective is not only to defeat the Militant over the entire city, both above and Below Ground vast network of Tunnels signaling a New strategic shift toward full occupation of Gaza. "What sets this offensive apart is also its unparalleled scale. Israel has mobilized between 60,000 and 80,000 reservists, the largest deployment in the history of the Gaza conflict. "This massive troop buildup indicates plans for a sustained, intensive campaign over an extended period, contrasting sharply with previous incursions, which involved fewer ground forces and were generally shorter in duration. "The attack is characterized by the systematic destruction of urban areas, with entire residential blocks being demolished in a block-by-block fashion. This demolition is carried out using advanced methods, including remote-controlled, explosive-laden vehicles "The way they work is that soldiers control these vehicles remotely, steering them into specific buildings, tunnels, or other targets associated with militants. "Once the vehicle reaches its designated spot, the operator remotely detonates the explosives carried on board. "This controlled explosion causes significant destruction to the target area, such as collapsing buildings or tunnels, without putting soldiers at risk in close-quarters combat or demolition operations." . . . Charlie's death reveals media's worst UPDATED

 Don Surber

Stuff the free speech argument. None of Kimmel’s supporters seem bothered that Charlie Kirk did not lose his job over free speech. He lost his life.

"Originally, today’s newsletter was supposed to be about cartoonist Chip Boks crewing up with his political cartoon about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. My goodness you don’t depict a man having his head blown off.
"I will get to that later in the newsletter, but Jimmy Kimmel had to make an ass of himself by mocking the reaction of MAGA and President Trump to Charlie’s death.
"How bad was it, Donnie?
"It was so bad that ABC yanked him from the air immediately.

“ABC Pulls Jimmy Kimmel Off Air for Charlie Kirk Comments”
ABC announced on Wednesday evening that it was pulling Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show “indefinitely” after criticism of comments he made on Monday about the motives of the man who is accused of fatally shooting the conservative activist Charlie Kirk last week.
Brendan Carr, the Federal Communications Commission chair, sharply criticized Mr. Kimmel’s comments on a podcast earlier on Wednesday.
Nexstar, an owner of many local stations throughout the United States, said shortly before ABC’s announcement that it was pre-empting episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! for the “foreseeable future.”
“Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets,” the company said.

"Who in the hell slams the victim of an assassin and his supporters?" . . .

As for Jimmy Kimmel, if Steven Colbert was losing $40 million a season with the top rated ABC-CBS-NBC late night show, how much money was Kimmel losing? Sounds like a good excuse to pull the plug on an unwatched and unwatchable show.
We live in a society where ghouls like Jimmy Kimmel celebrate the murder of someone whose opinions don’t match the left’s—unaware that the left changes its opinions on a whim. It took about 3 years to go from mocking the “It’s Ma’am” guy at GameSpot to outlawing the misgendering of trannies.
Kimmel can say what he wants, just not on ABC anymore.
Two polls today.

 Bye Bye Jimmy

. . . "Jimmy Kimmel, Tucker Carlson, and other journalists and entertainers serve at their employer's pleasure. If their words or behavior conflict with their employer's views and positions, they can be fired.

"When a conservative is fired, the media say they deserved it. When a liberal is fired, it’s a constitutional crisis, a blatant violation of the First Amendment, and a “threat to democracy.”

"I call it fair play or karma. President Trump didn’t hold back when posting on his Truth Social account: " . . .

The decision to take Kimmel off the air came from the top at Disney.

"Bob Iger, the company’s C.E.O., and Dana Walden, its television chief, made the call, according to The Times. Disney’s relations with important affiliate owners were reportedly a factor: The Wall Street Journal adds that Nexstar’s announcement weighed on executives’ deliberations. (NYT)"

Is This the Most Vile Reaction to Kimmel Getting Pulled Off Air?

"Responding to Sinclair's statement about their decision on X, Olbermann told them to "Burn in hell...Alongside Charlie Kirk'."
