"That's How Real Journalism Works:" Leaked Emails Show How ProPublica Tried to Manufacture a Smear Against Pete Hegseth

 Daily Caller

"The Daily Caller reached out to West Point to ask how the false information was relayed, if there was any further communication between the school and ProPublica, and if the officials who shared the false information were being disciplined. They did not answer the questions and refused to accept a phone call to discuss the story further."

"After a West Point spokesperson falsely claimed that Pete Hegseth had not even applied to the institution, much less been accepted, journalism outfit ProPublica reached out to Hegseth’s lawyer, asserting that the Secretary of Defense nominee had lied and gave him a one hour deadline to respond.

"Hegseth posted on Wednesday morning a photo of his acceptance to West Point and said ProPublica was planning on posting “a knowingly false report” that he was not accepted to the school in 1999. ProPublica editor Jesse Eisinger then responded with a Twitter thread, explaining that the outlet had done “real journalism” and determined something they heard was not true and that they would not be posting their story. Eisinger wrote that journalists must give the subject of a story a “fair chance to respond to all of the salient facts in the story.”

We understand that ProPublica (the Left Wing hack group) is planning to publish a knowingly false report that I was not accepted to West Point in 1999.

"However, emails and apparent phone transcripts obtained by the Caller reveal that ProPublica themselves did not do that in pursuit of the Hegseth story." . . .

Seven GOP Senators Most Likely To Stand Between Trump And His Dream Cabinet

"I guarantee it will be the biggest mistake of their lives for even a single Republican Senator to hesitate in confirming every Cabinet appointee. We, the middle class working voters, overwhelming selected Donald Trump to do for us exactly what he has promised. We did not vote for these elitist Senators, nor do we care about their unimportant opinions. Their only response needs to be, "Yes, sir." If these insignificant Senators suddenly become self-important legends in their own minds, those of us who supported President Trump will do everything in our power to make sure these Senators become among the unemployed, and that their remaining time in office is miserable." (Comment to the above post.)

'The Trump Effect' in Foreign Policy is Real and It's Growing

Rick Moran

"This is the eleventh presidential administration in my adult life, and I cannot recall any president-elect having such an extraordinary effect on events, both directly and indirectly, before he enters office. Part of that is the incredible time we live in. Trump is going to be riding the wave of this change, unable to control it, but hopefully able to influence events to America's advantage."

"Donald Trump isn't president yet, but he may as well be. The rest of the world thinks that he's president. That has already started a shuffling of the deck and is forcing reassessments from friends and foes alike.

"Early this month, Trump took to Truth Social to issue a warning to the terrorist group Hamas — what's left of it, anyway.

“ 'If the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity. Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!”

"The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday that for the first time since October 7, 2023, Hamas has agreed to allow Israeli troops to remain in Gaza after a ceasefire is agreed to. More importantly, the terrorists handed over a list of living hostages that would be released when the fighting ended.

Progress toward a deal comes after an Egyptian delegation visited Israel in late November, and after President-elect Donald Trump said on Truth Social earlier this month that there would be “hell to pay” in the Middle East if the hostages aren’t released before he assumes office in January.

As part of the latest proposal, Israel and Hamas are considering a 60-day cease-fire period that would see the release of up to 30 hostages being held in Gaza, including U.S. citizens, according to the mediators. In exchange, Israel would set free Palestinian prisoners and allow greater humanitarian aid to flow into Gaza, they said.

"Hamas is giving way in Gaza, Syria's Bashar Assad is just another exiled tyrant, Europe's elites are faltering as governments in Berlin and Paris fall, and conservatives are on the march.

"It's not all Trump's doing, of course. But Trump's election, quite unexpectedly, has changed the power dynamic in some places that allows change to happen. The uncertainty about what Trump might do has caused massive reassessments of the strategic situation for U.S. allies and enemies." . . .

Netanyahu to Iranians: Peace Coming ‘Sooner than People Think’

Joel B. Pollak

"Earlier Thursday, Breitbart News reported that elements of the Iranian establishment are considering regime change because of the failure of Iran’s “revolutionary” leadership and its strategy of promoting terrorism and war abroad.

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Iranian people in a speech Thursday in which he urged them to rise up against their government, and promised them a future of peace and prosperity when Iran is free.

"The speech, Netanyahu’s third in recent months, came as Israel reportedly considered plans to attack Iran’s nuclear program, which is vulnerable after Israel destroyed almost 90% Syria’s air defenses after the fall of the Assad regime this week.

"Israel also destroyed Iran’s air defenses in an attack in October, which was a response to a massive ballistic missile attack by Iran earlier that month. Iran also attacked Israel with ballistic missiles, drones, and cruise missiles in April.

"The speech was posted Youtube, and a transcript was provided by Israel’s Government Press Office:" . . .

The Left’s Assassination Lust Is Misdirected

 Issues & Insights

“The ‘private’ insurance sector is distorted by endless government regulations and interventions,” says our friend Steven Hayward in his Power Line Daily Chart. “Second, the dirty secret of health policy since the failure of Hillarycare in 1994 is that the government demands that private health insurance systems do cost containment, so that they, and not the government, will take the heat.”

"The hero worship for Luigi Mangione, the accused executioner of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, is appalling to reasonable people. We understand, though, that on occasion Americans can have a legitimate grievance with their health insurance coverage. But the guilty parties are not corporate insurance executives. The culpable are the lawmakers and regulators in Washington who have hijacked the country’s health care industry.

"Mangione, arrested Monday in Pennsylvania on fake ID and firearms charges, justified the slaying of health care insurance executives, which sent many on the left into spasms of delight.

“ 'These parasites had it coming,” the new folk hero for elitists wrote in his manifesto. Sadly, Mangione, a son of privilege who favors the crumbling British government’s National Health Service, is not alone in his blind hatred for health insurance executives.

"Former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz, who has been publicly demonstrating her tenuous grip of reality and decency for years, has been a leader among the aggrieved. “And people wonder why we want these executives dead,” she posted on Bluesky only hours after Thompson was gunned down.

"Then on Monday night on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” she said that, “along with so many other Americans,” she felt “joy, unfortunately,” at the news of Thompson’s death. She quickly tried to backtrack when she realized how malicious and deranged she sounded. But out of the abundance – or maybe the emptiness – of her heart, her mouth spoke.

"On Tuesday, we noted that The Hill was reporting that “social media users have sometimes outright gloated at the killing.” Apparently it’s an acceptable expression of “populist rage.” Later in the day, the execrable Jimmy Kimmel read exchanges among his staff which demonstrated that his crew desperately needs help."

"One asked if “you guys think the UnitedHealthcare CEO killer is hot?” Another said “everyone is obsessed” with Ivy Leaguer Mangione and seemed happy to report that people “are saying a NY jury has the power to find him innocent.” Other zany comments included “we all love him,” “I’m not mad at him” and “I would visit him in prison, and bake him cookies maybe.” . . .

Tactics, Techniques and Procedures to Keep Deep State Bureaucrats From Obstructing Donald Trump’s Agenda

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall

"If we’re serious about draining the swamp, we must play smart against the bureaucrats. They will be turning all their evil cunning against us, so our people must demand change and enforce our will. Anything less is accepting failure, and we’ve accepted failure for long enough."

"Donald Trump must move hard and fast to get his agenda enacted. He’s going to be opposed not only by the bureaucrats of the Deep State but by, to some extent, the courts, congressional Democrats, and soft Republicans. Fortunately, President Trump, as chief executive – the unitary executive – has tremendous authority. He and his appointees, as well as Republicans in Congress, must use it. They will feel considerable pressure to be soft and weak, not only from the regime media but from the spineless establishmentarians. They must reject it, and fully exercise the power the American people have granted them.

"There are practical limitations to Donald Trump’s soon-to-be-recovered power. He will have to fight the regime media every step of the way, and it will gleefully lie about him and attempt to intimidate members of his administration to compel obedience. Everything he does will be challenged in the courts, and while we have more favorable judges than we used to, the problem with alleged judicial conservatives is sometimes they tolerate the libs. When it comes to prosecution, there are some venues – like Washington DC – where you can’t convict a Democrat, and that will allow them not to answer for their crimes. There are legal considerations. Some laws are crystal clear and limit what he can do, while other laws are ambiguous, meaning he can push the outside of the envelope. And it’s going to be tough making new laws. The filibuster remains a thing – the Republicans will not do what the Democrats promise to do and get rid of it for him to ram through his agenda. Whether that’s a good idea or not is a moot point. We must fight the battle on the battlefield where we’ve landed.

"At the threshold, the Trump administration and its congressional allies must understand what they are up against – a bunch of people who are absolutely determined to maintain the failed status quo. As someone with military command, executive officer, and staff experience – as well as 30 years of being a lawyer – I’ve learned a few tricks of the trade for getting stuff done in the face of institutional opposition." . . .

The art of the smear campaign that started with Robert Bork.

"The fact here is that the critics have no credibility precisely because they have kept going the Borking route repeatedly over the years. Robert Bork first, later Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, then Bush 41 Vice President Dan Quayle, and so on — and on and on." . . .

The Borking of Pete Hegseth  "It all began with Robert Bork.

"Nominated for the United States Supreme Court by President Reagan in 1987, Bork was superbly qualified for the job. In his career, he had been a professor at Yale Law School, solicitor general of the United States, acting attorney general, and then served as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. He was enormously respected by his legal peers.

"And then.

"Bork would later write this of what happened after his nomination was announced:

During all of this time there was the incessant barrage of negative advertising, media coverage, a daily flood of mail, and constant telephone calls. The media varied, of course, but the reporting in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the three network news programs was almost unrelievedly hostile, as, of course, were the advertisements. The campaign was having its effect.

"Indeed the “Get Bork” campaign did in fact have a major effect. What was not foreseen on the day was that the campaign against Bork would, in fact, set the pattern for campaigns against not only future Republican nominees for the Court but for Cabinet positions as well.

"Court nominees Clarence Thomas and, later, Brett Kavanaugh were targeted for what had become known as “Borking” — virulent media campaigns designed to smear and defeat the nominee of the moment.

"This time the target in this latest “Borking” campaign is President-elect Trump’s nominee for secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth.

"Any rational person would be impressed with Hegseth’s background. He received his bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University, then went on to earn his Master of Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He signed up for the Army Reserve Officers Training Corps while at Princeton, and while working as an equity analyst at Bear Stearns was a commissioned officer in the Minnesota National Guard." . . .

With Kamala Harris a laughing participant in the Borking of Judge Kavanaugh. TD

DOGE Asks Twitter for Examples of Government Waste and WHOA, NELLIE Do People Have Some Ideas

Twitchy

"If the power of American small businesses is unleashed by taking the government off their backs, there's almost no limit to the economic boom that could result." . . .

"It's no secret that one of the most exciting aspects of the incoming Trump administration is going to be what Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovers and, hopefully, fixes. In reducing regulations, waste, and other useless expenditures of the federal government, there is the potential to save American taxpayers not millions, not billions, but possibly trillions of dollars.

"Even better, Musk and Ramaswamy have promised transparency in their 18-month program, creating an official DOGE account on Twitter where Americans can both see and interact with their work.

"Imagine an agency that doesn't try to hide everything it is doing from the people. Crazy times.

"Early this morning, the DOGE account put proof to the promise that it wants to hear from the American people by tweeting a call for recommendations of some of the worst and most wasteful government programs." . . .  "There were plenty of more creative ideas as well."

Biden Just Let All of Hunter's Friends Out of Jail UPDATED

PJ Media

Because the Biden administration doesn't operate with an America First mindset, there was no release secured for any of the hostages being held by Hamas in exchange for the commuted sentence of the terrorist.

. . "People have spent a lot of time this last month wondering what Joe Biden was up to and whether he was attending to any of his presidential duties at all. Not that the old boy had been extraordinarily present in the months leading up to the election, mind you, but he seemed extra AWOL after it.

"Well, President LOLEightyonemillion got back to work this week, and we're all probably going to end up wishing he hadn't.

"The pardon of his son Hunter was only a soft opening act for Biden, who really got his pen busy in the last several days. This is from something that Rick wrote yesterday

The White House announced on Wednesday that Biden has pardoned 39 "non-violent" prisoners and commuted the sentences of 1,500 others. The White House says it's the largest grant of clemency in U.S. history.

"That's a whole lot of sudden extra chow in prison cafeterias all over the land. It's almost as if Democrats have an affinity for people who break the law. As Rick goes on to say, this is an "abuse" of the president's power to grant clemency. He seems to want to leave a lot of scorched earth and burned bridges behind him on his way out of the White House door.

"Somebody wants him to, anyway. Biden is cranky and vindictive, but the people who have been running his brain for the last four years have their downright evil moments. They're the ones who drew up the list for Biden's clemency frenzy. There were bound to be some unsavory characters on it." . . .

Joe Biden Considers A Scorched Earth Policy On His Way Out The Door ..."The man is an inveterate liar. He lies about important things and trivial. He lied about riding the train, the death of his grandfather, and being shot at in Iraq. He lied about the truck driver who killed his wife and daughter in 1972, claiming that the man had been drunk despite police records of the time showing no such thing. He cheated in college, lied about his standing at graduation in law school, and, fatally for his 1988 presidential run, plagiarized Neil Kinnock, a British politician.

"If there is a legacy to Joe Biden pre-Barack Obama, it is his destruction of the confirmation process for the Supreme Court. For most of our history up until that point in 1987, Supreme Court nominations were largely collegial processes that focused mainly on the candidate’s knowledge of the law and their qualifications for sitting on the bench. Joe Biden and fellow liberal urchin Teddy Kennedy savaged Bork for his conservative views and, as the New York Times suggested, the Bork nomination “in some ways, was the beginning of the end of civil discourse in politics.”

Biden Releases CCP Spies, Pedo as J6ers, Miles Guo, and Pro-Lifers Still in Jail  "While peaceful American citizens and a prominent anti-CCP Chinese dissident rot in American jails, Joe Biden is granting clemency to Chinese nationals jailed for espionage, spying, and child pornography, much to the glee of America’s number one enemy, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

"That laundered Chinese money to Joe Biden and his family is once again paying dividends, as the CCP celebrated a deal where the release of several U.S. citizens from China is being rewarded by the exchange of several dangerous criminals." . . .  Sadly, the bulk of this article is behind a pay wall. TD

Biden commutes sentence of man who watched infant rape videos because he is a CCP asset   "Just remember, in Joe Biden’s America, “no one is above the law” unless…you’re the president’s son, you participated in weaponized committees to target Trump supporters and destroyed the evidence of your actions, you committed treason or participated in crimes against humanity but vote Democrat, you burn down and vandalize pregnancy resource centers, or you’re an extensive viewer of child pornography (including infant rape) and important to the Chinese Communist Party." . . .

UPDATE:  Biden Commutes Sentence of Illinois Official Who Embezzled $53M from Small Town  . . ."Crundwell was the comptroller for the town of Dixon, Illinois, famed as the boyhood home of Ronald Reagan. But investigators eventually discovered that for more than 20 years she had been funneling millions of dollars a year of city funding into her personal accounts to fund her luxurious lifestyle and businesses.

"Li Arellano, a Republican who took the mayor’s office after the Crundwell conviction and who ran for office to clean up the mess she left, insisted that Biden just showed that “crime pays.' ”

UPDATE: Biden commutes sentence of disgraced PA judge who sent kids to jail for $2.1 MILLION in kickbacks   . . ."In his statement released by the White House, Biden announced that the nearly 1,500 commutations he granted to Americans was the highest ever in one day. According to the statement, those on the list have been completing their sentences under the COVID-era CARES Act at home for a minimum of a year. He emphasized his belief that the US is "a nation of second chances" and stated that they have "shown their commitment to rehabilitation." A Chinese national convicted of possessing more than 47,000 files of child pornography also received a commutation."

People Like Jamaal Bowman [Joy Reid, Al Sharpton, Letitia James, Maxine Waters, Kim Foxx, et al.] Are Why America Can't Fix Race Relations

Jeff Charles  "Whenever I see or hear the words “Dear White People,” I have an involuntary cringe reaction. Why? Because I know that what is to follow these three words will likely be some of the most skull-hammeringly obtuse race-hustling heap of bovine excrement most of us have seen.

"Such is the case with disgraced former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) who did this very thing on social media after a New York jury acquitted Daniel Penny of murdering Jordan Neely during an altercation on a subway train." . . .

Ousted Squad Member Jamaal Bowman Pens 'Dear White People' Letter

Bowman ended his letter by asking his audience how many times they have seen a "white man killed in cold blood on camera." He completely disregarded the fact that UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was just shot and killed on a New York City sidewalk, which has been a nationwide phenomenon.

"In a recurring theme from Democrats on the heels of Daniel Penny’s acquittal, ousted Squad member Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) is unfairly targeting white Americans in their rhetoric on issues of race and social justice.

"In a scathing “Dear White People” letter, Bowman demanded that they address their “hypocrisy and evil,” arguing that Penny's unchecked white supremacy unjustly detained Jordan Neely— the mentally deranged man who was threatening to kill people on one of New York City’s subway car.

. . ."It is important to note that Bowman’s X post received a Community Note because two of those four officers in the Rodney King incident were convicted.

This is the same guy who pulled the fire alarm before a last-minute vote to fund the government in September.

Bowman argued that Neely was “sick” and subdued” but not a “threat” despite people who were on the subway that day testifying, saying they were terrified that Neely would get violent.

He then asked his targeted audience in his letter if they ever feel “discomfort” from their “whiteness,” claiming that when black people are killed, they don't receive justice they way white people do."

Biden Picked His Cabinet Based on DEI. How Did That Work Out for Him?

 The American Spectator

"In rejecting Kamala Harris — yet another Biden pick who was chosen for her race — voters have rejected this whole racial project."  Ellie Gardey Holmes

"Four years ago, when then–President-elect Joe Biden was selecting members of his Cabinet, one concern dominated: diversity.

"The pressure to choose candidates for top offices who were either women or from minority races was immense. Politico reported in November 2020 that Democrats “expect[ed] him to nominate the most diverse Cabinet in history.” Luckily for DEI-obsessed Democrats, Biden was happy to comply. After all, the president had promised to create a government that “looks like America.” In the end, the president’s administration was judged by numerous media outlets to be “the most diverse ever.” CNN totaled in January 2021 that 50 percent of Biden’s nominees for Cabinet positions and Cabinet-level positions were “people of color.” Biden had also named the most-ever women as Cabinet secretaries.\

"In rolling out his picks, Biden repeatedly framed the selections through the lens of diversity. For instance, when Biden announced his senior communications staff, he led with the fact that they were all female. “I am proud to announce today,” he said, “the first senior White House communications team comprised entirely of women.”

DEI Rejection

"Ultimately, the selection of the most racially diverse Cabinet ever did not lead to a desirable outcome for Biden. A major shift to the right among minority groups, a growing recognition that DEI is toxic and unfair, and electoral defeat soon followed.

"President-elect Donald Trump has strongly rejected Biden’s strategy of picking Cabinet appointees based on race, even though his proposed Cabinet is diverse in gender and race. As Alex Stroman, a former South Carolina GOP state party executive director, explained last week: “I think that’s where the country is at: we want a Cabinet that is diverse based on many different experiences and backgrounds, be it sexual or racial, economic, or cultural…. But the American people don’t want diversity for the sake of diversity.” Indeed, Americans are done with officials being chosen for what they represent over what they can provide to the country.

"With that in mind, it’s worth looking back on just how utterly race dominated Biden’s Cabinet selection process, and how this reaped a whole-of-government obsession with race. Repeatedly, Cabinet members who were selected for diversity, equity, and inclusion reasons went on to obsess over DEI in their own leadership — to the extent that the administration became a giant conglomerate of DEI." . . .

The Biden–Harris administration stopped working for the American people.

Parody As a Weapon Part CXXIII; What was that about “your word as a Biden”?

 American Free News Network

"In our last installment of Parody As a Weapon Part CXXII before the November election, we noted the similarities between the denialism of certain segments of the establishment (the mayor of Aurora, Colorado and Martha Raddatz) regarding the presence of illegal alien organized crime in our communities as a result of Biden-Harris border policy failures (or success, depending on what their goals really were), and compared it to government-inspired organized crime from the previous century. In this segment, we will continue to look at organized crime and its practice by the family currently occupying the White House.

"On Sunday, December 1, shortly before jetting off to Africa (perhaps to consider setting up a government in exile in a country with lax extradition), Joe Biden announced that he was issuing a blanket pardon for his son Robert AKA “Hunter” Biden for any federal crimes committed from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024 (the date of the pardon), including the firearm offenses he was convicted of committing and the tax offenses to which he had pleaded guilty.
"Though Biden had previously promised directly and through his staff that he was not going to take any such action to pardon or commute his son’s sentence, most of us who have observed Biden closely for more than 50 years were not surprised, as the current soon-to-be-evicted occupant of the White House long ago established that he was a liar of the first order.

"White House Communications Director Karine Jean-Pierre tried vainly to spin how Biden’s false statements were true at the time, even if the current statement was not true with respect to the politicized nature of the Biden Justice Department. Like most of the other utterances from the current spokesliar, this too failed to persuade, or even pass the smell test.

"Another who has served as a spokesman and cheerleader for Joe Biden is entertainer Bruce Springsteen. As a shill for democrat politicians, Springsteen has parlayed his once-formidable talent as a musician and songwriter into fundraising for left wing hacks running for office. He narrated videos for Biden in 2020 (shortly before being arrested for driving his motorcycle under the influence of alcohol on federal land during the Trump administration) and played at Harris rallies in 2024." . . .

"It is not a surprise that a man known as “The Boss” would support Joe Biden, given the sentiment expressed in so many of his songs that America is not that great of a country (though that sentiment would tend to make him and Andrew Cuomo supporter). While many thought “Born in the USA”, the name of his 1984 album with an eponymous single was a jingoistic pro-American tune based on the chorus, an actual review of the lyrics reveals it to be a grievance festival. As such, it seems appropriate to use a cut from the album of a once-talented hypocrite to highlight the hypocrisy of the talent-limited occupant of the White House, and his addicted son." . . .

Thinking about the drones

Drones gotta land

"For drones to perform the odd maneuvers for seven hours at a time, it would need three things.  First, a fuel far more efficient in terms of energy per unit, because it couldn’t carry a lot of fuel.  Drones aren’t built for that.  But they would need something else.  First, because they emit no detectable radio signals, they’d need an AI more advanced than any we know of to control their drones. That’s two breakthrough technologies. Finally, they’d need someplace to land before daylight, to be serviced and refueled, and prepped for its next flight."

Ned Barnett, a long-time American Thinker contributor dating to 2006, is a military technology historian, and hosted nine History Channel programs, such as World War I Tech or D-Day Tech, back when history meant something to the History Channel, before Pawn stars change its whole nature.

Droning on … and on … and on …
. . ."Which leads me to China. The Chinese flew a giant freaking balloon across the entire continent and we didn't do anything about it, despite its glacial pace. They must surely believe that they could get away with flying a few dozen drones over New Jersey and New York — and their attendant military bases, dams, and other infrastructure. As well as Trump’s properties." . . .

What We Know About the Mysterious New Jersey Drone Sightings  . . ."Despite the denial, some experts theorize that the military could be involved. Clint Emerson, a former Navy SEAL and security-firm owner, told the New York Post that the drones could potentially be a military project that’s kept so secret only a scant few are aware it exists. “That’s why the government’s like, ‘We don’t know.’ They’re being truthful,” he told the outlet.

"Congressman Van Drew, a Republican, floated a theory on Wednesday on Fox News, citing unnamed “very high sources” that the drones hail from a foreign adversary. “Iran launched a mothership probably about a month ago that contains these drones. That mothership, I’m going to tell you the deal, it’s off the East Coast of the United States of America. They’ve launched drones,” he said.

"On Wednesday, the Pentagon rebutted that theory, saying that there’s “no truth” to Van Drew’s claims but also confirmed that the drones are not from the U.S. military. “At this time, we have no evidence that these activities are coming from a foreign entity or the work of an adversary,” said deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh. “We’re gonna continue to monitor what is happening, but at no point were our installations threatened when this activity was occurring.' ” . . .
