"A violent home invasion just 30 miles from Nancy Guthrie‘s home in Tucson, Arizona, has left nearby citizens on edge. The incident took place on July 21 at about 2:40 in the morning, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (the same police department investigating Guthrie’s abduction.)
“An unknown male suspect entered the residence through an unlocked door, physically and sexually assaulted the female victim, and prior to fleeing the scene, attempted to burglarize the home.”
"However, Chris Nanos, the sheriff in Pima County, told Fox News Digital that nothing indicates the cases are related. No suspect has been arrested in the latest attack, while Guthrie’s kidnapper also remains at large. The mother of Today anchor Savannah Guthrie has been missing since January 31.
