Now it was the Republicans’ turn to pounce. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller asked Tarlov why she was defending a criminal illegal alien invader charged with sexually assaulting a child.

Wailing and gnashing of liberal teeth could be heard from our nation’s capital on Wednesday after police and federal agents detained an illegal immigrant on the National Mall. In the video below, the man exited his car as instructed and appeared calm. But inexplicably, a couple of seconds later, outnumbered by agents six to one, he tried to run away. As he was tackled to the ground by the officers, he cried out in Spanish, “Please, I’m not a criminal, I work here. I want to be with my family.”

NBC News reported that as he was placed inside an unmarked vehicle, he screamed, “My family has papers! My family and my children! Please! Please!”

One wonders if Jessica Tarlov will be on The Five Monday, or Harold Ford Jr.  TD

"Winsome Earle-Sears is the current Lieutenant Governor of Virginia and also the Republican candidate for governor. When Sears showed up at a school board meeting to talk about transgender issues in education, a liberal white woman was holding a vile sign that read, “Hey Winsome, if trans can’t share your bathroom, then blacks can’t share my water fountain.”

"It’s positively stunning that no one thought to tell this woman to get rid of the sign. Winsome Earle-Sears is black; her family came to America from Jamaica in the 1970s.

Gavin Newsom declares war on the Marines

"Term limited California Governor Gavin Newsom is running for the Democrat Party nomination for President in 2028. He’s not certain against whom he’ll be running, so he’s running against America. He’s been governing against California for years, so why not extend that kind of governance to the whole country?" . . .

"When government buildings and agents were being overwhelmed by organized rioters in Los Angeles, President Trump lawfully called out the National Guard and active-duty Marines, not to engage in civilian law enforcement, but to protect those facilities and agents. Why the Marines?  They were needed, nearby, and as America’s quick reaction force, immediately ready. He did not violate the Posse Comitatus Act, but freed federal agents to do their jobs enforcing immigration law. Rioters quickly figured out our troops and ICE agents weren’t going to let them do what Newsom so willingly let them do before the troops were deployed. The riots soon petered out and the troops were withdrawn.

"That’s not exactly “bringing war to the American people.”

"Newsom objected every step of the way. He wanted chaos, looting, arson, destruction of property and injured federal agents. He wanted to keep illegal alien criminals in California.

"This is the kind of campaigning Newsom thinks will win the Democrat nomination. He doesn’t know the difference between restoring public order when he fails to do it, and waging war? He’s certainly willing to lie about our Marines to make political points. Unfortunately for Newsom, those points aren’t appreciated outside the Democrat Party, which is increasingly anti-American. He’s certainly right that this kind of slander of the Marines might win the Democrat nomination. If he imagines it will win the presidency, he’s dead wrong. That’s not the way to win the young, male American vote, which is increasingly swinging toward traditional American values and priorities and joining the military." . . .

"CB will lose a big part of their base while not recouping that volume with new customers from the woke mob. That is not a good thing. After all, what self-respecting leftist would eat at a “Cracker” anything?"

"Cracker Barrel (“CB”) recently announced with great pride (pun intended) that they have become woke and are implementing customer-facing DEI throughout their restaurant chain, a project that has been in the works for about a year. Proving once more that idealistic leftists are oblivious to anything remotely involving sanity. 

"The Left never seems to learn. Their DEI agenda is so important that they willingly crater their own businesses. Even Left-leaning news channels and their famous anchors have learned that they are not immune to this effect. I have doubts about the success of this new direction, for a couple of reasons.

"1) Woke people who pretend to live healthy lives don't eat there anyway -- you know, because of the biscuits, gravy, fried chicken, calories, fat, etc., where just one glass of sweet tea likely has more calories than they consume in a day. Somehow CB thinks taking the "country" out of Cracker Barrel, removing the old white dude and his barrel from the logo, and making the decor look like a latte cafe will entice them in (I have a bridge to sell you).

"2) Their loyal fans, including me, have no interest in overall DEI wokeness when it is an in-your-face action. Hire whoever you wish, as I don’t care about the proclivities of my server or the cook, so no problem there. But I do care about the thinking of leaders who believe this is a good direction to pursue as a business." . . .

Cracker Barrel falls to DEI   "DEI and wokeism are divisive scourges on our society. While there’s some commonsense relief that the mindless leftist onslaught is finally being thwarted, the remaining holdouts infuriate even more -- read the room, already. One such place is Cracker Barrel, and its recalcitrant resistance to robust all-American (especially Southern) values is incongruous with its traditional country motif.

Corporate logos represent a company’s identity, values, and mission. For Cracker Barrel, the iconic logo welcomed good, hearty folks with a nice elderly gentleman (perhaps a patriarch, perish the thought) sitting in a wooden chair beside a barrel upon which his left arm seeks deserved rest. It really conveyed Southern warmth and charm. Now, the logo conveys a bland… never mind, I don’t know what, such is its uninspiring, androgynous-like design. Perhaps the unintended message is “keep driving,” there’s a cozier restaurant around the country bend." . . .

.The latest rebrand — removing Americana décor and the white man from its logo to make the chain “more welcoming” — is not a fresh marketing pivot. It’s the culmination of a decades-long effort to bring Cracker Barrel into the good graces of the progressive establishment. . .

This was a years-long campaign to pressure and pull Cracker Barrel into ridding itself of its Southern personality and adopt a more neutral personality that pleased hard-leftists, many of whom don't frequent those restaurants anyway.

"And without waiting for time to pass to see if it helps improve the restaurant's attendance, I can make the safe assumption that this pivot in the name of pleasing the most unpleasable people in the world is going to drive away whatever loyal base it had left. People who liked the restaurant for its Southern charm and likely felt it was relatable will probably no longer find it speaks to them. 

"More than that, anyone who catches on that this rebrand was done to please an LGBTQ+ bullying organization will likely turn their back on it on principle." . . .

It’s a serious charge that, like the Russia hoax, makes Watergate look like a sandbox squabble.

"Here’s what we’ve learned: According to Fox Business, major bank executives said “they were under pressure by the Obama and Biden administrations to deny services to individuals and businesses for political reasons.”

"One executive said the “pressures were very, very real. When your regulator gives you a suggestion, it’s not a suggestion, it’s an order. The political stuff is very real, those pressures are real.”

This is known as “political debanking” and is “the involuntary termination of banking services to individuals and organizations based on their political or religious views,” says Todd J. Zywicki, a professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, who further “argues that access to financial services is a prerequisite for exercising constitutional rights.”

Zywicki’s March paper “traces the rise of political debanking from the Obama administration’s Operation Choke Point, which targeted disfavored industries under the guise of ‘reputation risk.’” It was expanded under Biden administration, during which “Melania Trump and Michael Flynn faced account closures for their political stances.”

Other “high-profile cases” included “the cancellation of accounts tied to Donald Trump Jr.’s events and the National Committee for Religious Freedom,” and “illustrate a growing weaponization of the financial system to suppress dissent.”  . . .

Hakeem sir, Federal law says title 18 section 119 states that it is a federal crime to release or even threaten to release the Identity of ANY Federal employees private information with the intent to intimidate, harass or incite violence. So you sir have just broken a federal law, I believe you should do the American thing and turn yourself in, like you said we are not the soviet union and this isn’t the 1930’s.

It’s an ideological insurgency with a clear goal: “Erase not just Israel ‘from the river to the sea,’ but the Jewish people from the moral map.” Many involved in public education are diligently striving to achieve exactly that.

How ironic and tragic that many of those cursing Jews as "Nazis" are actively calling for the elimination of all Jews. The very definition of Nazis. Tunnel Dweller.

"RedState reported on Wednesday about the announcement from Bed Bath and Beyond executive chairman Marcus Lemonis that his company had no plans to open locations in California.

"We will not open or operate retail stores in California," Lemonis wrote. 

"In addition to pointing out that the decision wasn't "about politics," Lemonis went on to note that "California has created one of the most overregulated, expensive, and risky environments for businesses in America. It’s a system that makes it harder to employ people, harder to keep doors open, and harder to deliver value to customers."

"Lemonis's remarks were made amid an attempt at a comeback of sorts for the online home goods retailer after the original Bed Bath and Beyond chain shuttered its brick-and-mortar locations in 2023 and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Neighbors hurl antisemitic slurs at father of Georgia woman killed working for Israel’s border patrol: video

"A grieving father of an American woman killed while serving on Israel’s border patrol was verbally abused by neighbors who shouted antisemitic slurs [and called her death a "righteous murder"] and mocked him for his daughter’s death, according to the hurting dad and video." 

Rose Lubin was killed after a teenage “terrorist” stabbed
 her while on patrol in November 2023.

"Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, 20, was stabbed to death by a teenage “terrorist” while patrolling Jerusalem’s Old City in November 2023.  Lubin was a “lone soldier” living in Israel without her family after immigrating there in August 2021 and started her mandated army duty in March 2022 — more than a year before the Israel-Hamas war officially began.

"Her father, David Lubin, hasn’t known peace since his daughter’s untimely death.". . .

About a month after October 7, 2023, she was on patrol in the Old City of Jerusalem when she was killed by a terrorist on a motorcycle. Interestingly, she was living in Kibbutz Saad by the Gaza envelope on October 7th, and she was instrumental in defending the town of over 800 residents from the Hamas army that tried to conquer the town and destroy its residents."
