Viral posts and videos claimed the tool allowed “Satan” or “Allah” while blocking “Jesus.” Independent tests by Snopes found that “Jesus,” “Satan,” and “Allah” all returned the same rejection message citing restrictions on religious figures.

Reuters Fact Check examined the tool in October 2024 and reported that “Jesus loves you” and “Allah loves you” triggered identical rejection messages. Coca-Cola told Reuters that the tool “does not approve names or phrases that are religious in nature or are for political candidates, trademarks, or celebrities.” The company stated the specific religious names and phrases had already been designated for denial.

Lead Stories also tested the site in September 2024 and confirmed neither “Allah Loves You” nor “Jesus Loves You” was permitted, with the same rejection language applied.

Reports indicate that after the August 2026 videos spread, the moderation system began rejecting a broader range of previously accepted phrases, applying restrictions more consistently.
