"I left Islam for Christ. Playing 'crusader' in Dearborn is ruining our witness" Abdu Murray

I have had gracious, edifying conversations with a few Muslims, but you can see by the Hamas and Oct 7th commentaries in the Tunnel Wall, compassion and respect ends with those who behead babies and murder families. TD

Washington Examiner

"Christians are to be ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor. 5:20), expressing what is beautiful, good, and true. I met such ambassadors during my nine-year odyssey from Islam to Christ. What persuaded me was not spectacles or confrontation, but the credibility of the gospel, conveyed by Christians who compromised on neither truth nor compassion."

"Knights of the Crusades, crosses on their chests and swords held high, rushed toward a Muslim horde with violence in their eyes and scimitars raised. That image circulated on social media ahead of the Aug. 18 political march in Dearborn, Michigan — only a few miles from where I have lived my whole life, first as a Muslim, now as a Christian for the last 26 years. The image, and what happened that day, troubles me — but not for the reasons many assume.

"I support Christians engaging in the public arena, politics included. But we must ask whether our engagement bears the image of Christ or confirms the caricature of Christianity we hope to overcome.

"Every Christian in metro Detroit who wants to talk to a Muslim neighbor about Jesus now has the additional barrier of that crusade image and the news coverage of Christians angrily pointing their fingers.

JAMES TALARICO SAID HE ‘HATES CHRISTIANITY.’ HERE’S WHY

"I understand the concerns that brought some Christians to that march; I've shared some of them publicly. Friends of mine were mistreated — and even arrested — for preaching the gospel at a Dearborn festival, then vindicated in court, acquitted, and awarded damages in a civil suit. More recently, Dearborn’s mayor chastised a Christian at a City Council meeting, telling him he wasn't welcome in the city where he pays taxes. A protester was recently attacked in the streets. His attackers were arrested, and the legal system is running its course. These are legitimate causes for concern.

"Those events, coupled with fears that the Muslim-controlled “no-go zones” of Europe and the UK might take root here, drove much of the support for the Aug. 18 march. Police arrested 22 people for misdemeanors (though they declined to say which side they came from). That the justice system is working gives me hope that we are not in the same place as Europe and the U.K.

"Some critics say Christians should stay out of politics altogether. That swings the pendulum too far." . . .  Full article...

Lindsay Clancy, Motherhood, and a Culture That Has Forgotten Sacrifice |

"The disturbing reaction to the Massachusetts murder trial reveals a culture increasingly estranged from an enduring truth about parenthood: to love another person is to sacrifice for them."

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

"Ultimately, that’s what love is: sacrifice. Christ provided the perfect and ultimate example of love when He lay … scourged and shredded … upon the cross."

"The case of Massachusetts woman Lindsay Clancy has garnered national attention, in no small degree due to the alarming surge of women online and outside the courthouse expressing “solidarity” with and support for Clancy, who is on trial for the brutal murder of her three children, ages three, five, and eight. Clancy has admitted in court to taking each of the children into the basement, one by one, and strangling them to death with exercise bands.
"The trial has led a number of clearly unstable women to post TikTok and Instagram videos of themselves angrily screeching and hurling ice into bathtubs while their children cower in the background in fear and confusion or, perhaps even more disturbingly, clutching their young children with the words “Same, Lindsay” superimposed over the video.
"There is much debate and discussion, in the wake of the trial, over postpartum depression, the pharmaceutical industry, and the social contagion effects of brain-rotting, attention-whoring social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, but I’m not here to weigh in on any of that. As a father and a Catholic, my own attention has been arrested by the fact that many American women seem to have forgotten one of the most fundamental aspects of motherhood. No doubt the prevalence of abortion over the past number of decades has played a role in this.
"St. Josemaría Escrivá, the 20th century Spanish priest who encouraged laity and clergy alike to pursue holiness in everyday, once wrote, simply, “The way of love is called sacrifice.” Every mother and father is called to sacrifice for his or her children. While abortion and contraception may declare children to be an inconvenience to be disposed of or prevented, Christianity instead encourages parents to embrace parenthood as Christ embraced the cross. St. Francis De Sales urged his fellow Catholics, “Lovingly kiss the crosses that our Lord Himself lays upon your arms, without looking to see whether they are of precious or aromatic wood. They are more truly crosses when they are made of a wood that smells dirty and is considered useless.”
"Parenthood is a sublime joy. My wonderful wife and I have a beautiful baby girl, nearly two years old, and we are expecting her baby brother later this year. My daughter has brought so much joy and meaning and purpose to my life. Parenthood can also, I know, be a trial. At such times, however, every mother and father ought to, in the words of Christ Himself, “take up his cross, and follow me” (Matthew 16:24)." . . . More.

Why are all of the left’s cause célèbre heroes bad people?

A biker friend of mine who often hooked up with women in night spots once told me with a sly smile, "Some women just like bad boys".

Luigi Mangione fangirl lashes out at Brian Thompson's widow online "One of the Luigi Mangione fangirl “journalists” lashed out at Brian Thompson’s widow in a sickening social media posting spree after the object of her obsession pleaded guilty to murder.

"Lena Weissbrot, one of the three deranged fangirls called the “Mangionistas,” who were given press credentials by the Mamdani administration, reposted horrifying comments about Paulette Thompson — justifying the killing of her husband and suggesting she was complicit in murder."...

Is the left now claiming there are “mostly peaceful” fatal shootings?   ..."And it is Mangione who has a large and devoted following on social media and elsewhere.
"My God, is the left now claiming there are “mostly peaceful” fatal shootings? If so, what happened to “gun violence?” Guess it depends on who is shot.
"So, in leftist parlance, pre-planned homicides are not “violence,” but misgendering or dead-naming someone is “literally violence?” . . .

Why are all of the left’s cause célèbre heroes bad people?

"It seems that all of the heroes of the left are rotten people, which raises the obvious question: if there are no good and decent people among the left’s causes, could it be because there are no good and decent people who can become their latest cause célèbre, and because their causes are all rotten causes? Perhaps, just perhaps, good and decent people don’t do the stupid s(tuff) that inflames our good friends on the left!"

Fashion Designer Marc Jacobs Says He Would Dress Luigi Mangione for His Trial, Calls Him a Fashion Trendsetter

. . . There has been no evidence whatever that Mangione was ever a UnitedHealthcare patient.

Mangione has now pleaded guilty to “interstate stalking resulting in death” and “stalking through use of interstate facilities resulting in death.” Both carry a maximum life sentence.

Liberal, Joe Biden-appointed judge Margaret Garnett tossed out the two charges the prosecution sought which would have led to the death penalty.

It seems likely that with its plea, the defense expects Mongione’s second trial for second-degree murder will be dismissed as a case of “double jeopardy.”

Whether or not Mangione is a fashion trendsetter, he has at least become a hero of the bloodthirsty left-wing." . . .

Britain Hands Out Guides to Illegal Migrants Reminding Them Not to Rape Women

 The Gateway Pundit

Well, we did see what Hamas did to women in Israel that October 7th. TD

"The Home Office has just issued a booklet to illegal immigrants advising them not to commit rape and sexual assault, including of children. This tells us all we need to know about the kind of people illegally entering our country " Chris Philip, MP

Grok AI

"The British government is handing a nine-page guide explaining that rape, sexual harassment, domestic abuse and controlling women are unacceptable in the United Kingdom.

The government booklet lays out basic rules on sex, consent, relationships and behavior in public, while explaining that in liberal democracies like the U.K. women have the right to work, study, travel and choose whom they marry." . . .

“Women do not need permission from a husband, father, brother, or any other man to do any of these things,” the guidance states.

Hasan Piker and the Democrats Who Embrace His Violent Rhetoric (Extreme language advisory)

"From attacks on the Constitution to praise for Hamas and Mao, Piker’s rhetoric has not stopped prominent Democrats from appearing with him."

His language ranks with that of Rashida Tlaib and mule skinners. If you like Hamas and what they did to Israeli families that Oct 7th, you will like this man. TD

The American Spectator  Warning: This opinion piece directly quotes the abundantly profane Hasan Piker. Piker’s acceptance among Democrat officials and candidates makes his horrid comments newsworthy. Reader discretion is advised.

"The fact that a Rose Parade of similar figures has not mustered behind Carville and marched away from Hasan Piker with all deliberate speed speaks terrifying volumes about the shambolic state of the modern Democrat Party."

"“Man, you can fuck and suck me from the back, okay. I fuck the Constitution. I wipe my ass with the Constitution. It’s a fucking piece of paper, dude. Shut the fuck up. Motherfuck the Constitution and motherfuck this country, okay. You stupid bitch.”

"Most people who heard such comments would walk (or run) away in disgust and hope never again to encounter such verbal sewage.

"'Left-wingers, liberals, you need to be fucking showing your opponents’ guts on there, you need to be gutting them,” this man roared. “You need to be shanking these motherfuckers and letting their fucking intestines writhe on-stage,” he said. “Slice them up. Slice ’em and fucking dice ’em.”

"These comments practically incite violence. The sadism that fuels such rhetoric might justify ringing mental-health authorities. And if those statements did not trigger a call to 911, consider this, about landlords:

"“Kill them. Kill those motherfuckers. Murder those motherfuckers in the street. Let the streets soak in their fucking red capitalist blood, dude.”

"Those are the barbaric words of Hasan Piker, the extreme-Left social-media personality and spiritual leader of the flying-off-the-cliff Left.

"Piker’s vicious and inflammatory outbursts are not news, by themselves. America is overrun with psychopaths who mutter disturbing nonsense while stumbling through the streets or soiling themselves on sidewalks.

"What is newsworthy is that prominent Democrats embrace Piker, broadcast with him, and invite him to their campaign events.

"Piker and Abdul El-Sayed jointly rallied voters at Michigan State University in East Lansing and University of Michigan last April 7. Piker joked about weightlifting with El-Sayed at an August 3 campaign gathering, the night before he won Michigan’s Democrat nomination for U.S. Senate. Piker was an honored guest at El-Sayed’s primary-night victory party." . . . More.

If You Hate America, Why Don't You Leave?

"Although there are some Americans who make dramatic statements about expelling them, is that the kind of image we want to portray to the rest of the world about how we respect human rights?"

"For years, I’ve tried to understand the growing rancor between the Muslim community and the American population. It seems there is never a time when the two groups have lived comfortably with each other. And in these times of Muslims also becoming part of our political community, of the strife in the Middle East, and the ongoing conflicts in Muslim-majority countries, there is no sign of relationships improving.

"Although some Muslims have migrated here and have made satisfying lives for themselves, a large number of Muslims are dissatisfied or uncomfortable with their new home. It has been helpful to try to understand the mindset of these Muslims and then explore the implications of their beliefs and commitments.

"Muslims and native-born Americans have fascinating and different explanations for the Muslim dislike of the U.S. If you ask Muslims, many of them will say that their reactions are due to the recent steps that the Trump administration has taken against Muslims in this country and around the world: . . .

"Son of a Hamas founder, Mosab Hassan Yousef, warns what is to come for America if we do not fight for our values."

El-Sayed: KISS And Tell

"Having suffered the lash of Islam in Iran, Amirizadeh undoubtedly harbors deep concerns over a candidate who openly admits everything he does in life is to honor Islam."

James Zumwalt - American Thinker     "Last week was interesting for anyone concerned about Islam’s growing influence in America.

"Recently revealed were the 2009 remarks made by Michigan US Senate nominee, Democrat and avowed Muslim, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed.  He reportedly shared that, while in medical school, he chose to obtain a loan that was compliant with Islamic law—Sharia. In fact, he proclaimed that, as a Muslim, he would always follow Sharia in “everything” he ever sought to do.

"Some may dismiss these remarks, made 17 years ago, as those of a man simply dedicated deeply to his religion—one he embraces totally separate from his political views and life in general. However, such a dismissal would be a big mistake for Michigan voters in the upcoming election.

"While U.S. legislators embracing Christianity and most other religions do leave their religion at the door to represent their constituency on matters concerning their well-being, Muslims dedicated to their “religion” do not—and cannot. There is no issue amongst non-Muslim legislators complying with the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment mandate prohibiting the establishment of a national religion and protecting the free exercise of religion; but for Muslim legislators, there is.

"The above mandate gives rise to the philosophical and jurisprudential concept that there can be no state-mandated religion—i.e., “separation of church and state.” But, what if such separation is impossible because one has declared his total commitment to a religion that disallows such a separation?" . . .

. . . "For the record, El-Sayed could well give false testimony in response. Such is permissible under Islam. While honesty is supposedly honored, three situations allow Muslims to lie. These include lying to resolve a situation between two individuals, to a spouse in order to please her, and to be deceptive about an ongoing war. Clearly, as Islam’s ultimate goal is the submission of all religions to it, such a war between Islam and all other religions is in progress" . . .

Miller REFUSES To Take Back The Hezbollah Charge On Tlaib — 'I Said It, I Own It, I Stand By It'

Freya Explains Politics

"This breakdown examines a floor clash in the House of Representatives over Lebanon policy that escalated into a rare, hours-long procedural standoff. During debate on a resolution calling for the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Lebanon, Rep. Max Miller of Ohio accused Hezbollah of terrorism and directed pointed remarks at Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, prompting her to invoke a seldom-used House rule demanding his words be struck from the record. What followed was not a quick correction but a 70-minute freeze of official business, as the chamber's presiding officer worked to apply Section 361 of the House Rules and Manual, the provision governing when remarks are ruled out of order for impugning a member's patriotism or loyalty.

"We trace how the confrontation reflects tensions well beyond a single exchange: years of prior friction between the two lawmakers, procedural questions about the resolution's underlying premise, and a fight over institutional decorum that briefly halted the House altogether. The video also highlights an underexamined wrinkle: doubts about the resolution itself came not only from Miller but from senior members of Tlaib's own party, complicating the narrative once the vote was finally held. We look at how the clerk's formal reading of the disputed words back into the record, Miller's public refusal to withdraw them, and a colleague's subsequent restatement of his position on the floor combined to turn a debate over Lebanon policy into a case study in how the House handles allegations of misconduct on the floor, and what the episode signals about the state of decorum in Congress."

. . . "She was also a member of a private Facebook group whose members glorified Hamas in the immediate aftermath of October 7, posting photos of Hamas fighters posing with elderly hostages and celebrating the slaughter of Israeli soldiers as “achievements.” The group’s founder — one of Tlaib’s key fundraisers — has posted videos questioning the Holocaust and calling Jews “satanic.”

A controversial pro-Palestinian gathering in Detroit is drawing scrutiny for featuring speakers with extremist views—including two former Israeli prisoners released in a Hamas deal—alongside Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., a prominent anti-Israel congresswoman

Tlaib has a favorite term for any who do not like Hamas killing toddlers with their bare hands (entirely the opinion of TD):   Foul mouthed Rashida Tlaib rouses the Jew-hating rabble: ‘motherf**kers! We ain’t going anywhere’ Her name for President Trump..

The perfect Democrat candidate

  Don Surber

"Talarico claims to be a biblical scholar but insists, “God is nonbinary.” Look, if God wanted Chastity Bono to be a boy, He would have made her one."

"They say nobody’s perfect, but I disagree. I just pitched the perfect political candidate to the DNC, which desperately wants to avoid the disaster in Michigan's senatorial race known as Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, the doctor who has never seen a patient.
"He was captain of the football team at his pricy private high school, oops, a prestigious public school in a pricy neighborhood.
"But the Big Mo (for Mohamed) wrote ahead of the 2023 Super Bowl, “Football is very much associated with a particularly masculine and, oftentimes, toxically masculine culture. And so much of it was about—you wanted to be able to get back up and play for your team, and you really aren’t allowed to show pain or vulnerability. That’s part of the sport.”
"His hatred of football runs even deeper today.
"He said, “You think about all the wars that we fight abroad, all of the sordid history of oppressing other people in the name of this American idea, right? Whether it was, quote, Manifest Destiny and destroying Native Americans, or it was the transatlantic slave trade where, you know, folks who, quote, founded this country on the backs of Native folks that they destroyed, then captured people, enslaved them, and had them work their fields because they thought it was their right. Right. And all of this, like a lot of these narratives, you kind of see echoed in the ethos of football.”
"Everything is about slavery to Democrats—just as it was nearly 200 years ago
"Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed also hates Mackinac Island—a storied vacationland for Michiganders and their Michigeese. He said in a 2020 documentary about him, “I hate Mackinac so much. Every time I’ve ever come here, I’ve hated it. Why am I here?”

"What’s next? An Ohio State Buckeyes bumper sticker?

"He’s the Muslim Graham Platner without the Nazi tattoo or military service."  . . .

. . . "But looking elsewhere: The DNC was impressed. A committee member pointed out that Hell, Michigan, is in Livingston County, which is 95% white and more than 50% male. Trump carried the county by 24 points two years ago. Finally, they asked me his name. I said Hitler. Adolf Hitler. " . . .More...

Hollywood Won’t Show Radical Islam. Run Hide Fight: Infidels Will

Hollywood Won’t Show Radical Islam. Run Hide Fight: Infidels Will  . . . "The streamer Sneako, who also chanted in New York about Muhammad’s army coming back to kill Jews, tweeted, “The kuffar are getting so desperate they’re trying to do Bush-era propaganda in 2026. No one cares anymore. We all know the Israelis are the real terrorists.” The word “kuffar” goes back to the root “kafir” meaning “ infidels.”

"Why should the accurate depiction of ISIS on TV be thought of as bigoted when the radical Islamists this film portrays see America as the Great Satan and Israel as the Little Satan, believe that the West needs to fall, and also terrorize their own people? Currently, ISIS is responsible for 20 percent of all terrorist attacks on the planet. This radical mentality is fueled by Jihad, which asserts that non-believers should either be converted or killed. " . . .

The American Spectator

"The Daily Wire is preparing to release its latest film, Run Hide Fight: Infidels, in September, with the plot centering around an ISIS takeover of a pro-Hamas college campus. The trailer has already sparked intense reactions, with political figures like Mehdi Hasan arguing the film is Islamophobic. However, the trailer's contents depict terrorism in its most recognizable forms.  After October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked Israel and killed 1,200 of its citizens, taking many Jews hostage for the next two years, students around the world on college campuses erupted in support for Hamas and demonized Israel. This film has the viewers imagine a world in which these students actually get what they cheered for; the trailer shows a liberal campus hijacked by ISIS terrorists and depicts bombings, knife attacks, and assaults against women. The pro-Hamas students on campus experience the true ideology of the terrorists they promoted at their university.  It is our duty as citizens of this land — Muslims, Christians, Jews, and all others — to guard against the dangers of this threat to our way of life. By releasing this film, the Daily Wire intends to raise awareness of the threat of radical Islam in the United States, which has gained favor in the eyes of younger populations through terrorist groups like Hamas. The premature criticism of this film undermines the critical message and warning it gives to American society of the dangers of radical Islam.  However, the true quality of a given product can often be tested by the quality of its critics; Hasan wrote on X, “Difficult to come up with a more bigoted, Islamophobic, & clichéd trailer than this one. Also, Hollywood has ‘refused’ to tell the story of ‘radical Islam’? Is [Ben] Shapiro insane or just gaslighting? Muslims have been the main villains in Hollywood for decades, even predating 9/11!”" . . .  More...  Behind a pay wall.

UPDATED: If Piker's not sorry for what he says about Israel, then he's not sorry for what he said about the USA either

The Pikester will be fine; those chicks who love Mangione, who blame Israel for the families slaughtered by Hamas, who were taught by visiting Iranians to shake their fists and shout "death to America", and who voted for Mamdani will still love him. TD

Trojan-Horsing Society’s Institutions

Who Would Have Believed The Singularity Would Be So Stupid?

One more clue why this is a most truly disgusting man who has no business being in politics any more than el-Sayed.

"Hasan Piker's one of the most repulsive influencers in the Democrat party now, and what's told here should make clear nothing he says should be taken at face value:

Hasan Piker, a 35-year-old American streamer who broadcasts on Twitch to millions of followers, is one of the rising voices in Democratic politics. He describes himself as a Marxist, has said America "deserved 9/11," called for Zionists to be treated like neo-Nazis and declared that he would choose Hamas over Israel "every single time."

In recent months, he has moved from the screen to the campaign trail, becoming a prominent figure in Abdul El-Sayed's campaign. El-Sayed won Michigan's Democratic US Senate primary last week and could become the first Muslim elected to the US Senate. [...]

Despite his Marxist politics, the business he runs is thoroughly capitalist. According to Rolling Stone, nearly 50,000 subscribers pay $6 a month for his channel. After Twitch takes its 30% cut, that translates into more than $2 million in annual revenue.

"Then he's obviously as much a grifter as he is an enemy of the USA and Israel. And no doubt, he harbors the same sentiments towards Europe (which has its own share of self-haters too).

The remark most closely associated with Piker came in August 2019, during a livestream in which he watched Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw being interviewed by Joe Rogan. Piker mocked Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who lost his right eye to an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan, and referred to the fighter who wounded him as a "brave soldier."

"America deserved 9/11, dude,"
Piker said during the same broadcast. "F**k it, I'm saying it. We totally brought it upon ourselves." Only after two days of criticism did he walk the comment back in an interview with his uncle, Cenk Uygur, calling the remark "inappropriate" and describing it as a failed attempt at satire."

UPDATE:  Hasan Piker Wants to Destroy White, Middle-Class America. You Should Care - American Thinker   . . . "The white middle class stands in the crosshairs of a movement that has them marked for destruction. Hasan Piker cheers the call to impoverish them. Cea Weaver made it. Mayor Mamdani administrates public policy that promises gold, but delivers poison. The Democratic Socialists of America push race-communism that brands American success, especially if white and middle class, as oppression.

"Democrats have embraced this perverse creed, whose language of hope sparks change no decent person can endorse. It would be ludicrous for Republicans, whose base is white middle-class America, not to grasp this harsh reality now. November’s midterms are far from another routine election.

"Ignore the warning and watch America become a grotesque shadow of herself. After all, elections really do have consequences."

A Senator From Hamas?

A Senator From Hamas? | Power Line
So one is torn between cheering El-Sayed’s win as a break for the Republican Party, and bemoaning the sad state of today’s Democratic Party.

"The far-left Abdul El-Sayed has narrowly won the Democratic primary for Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat. The moment has historical significance, in that El-Sayed embodies in a single person the alliance between socialists and Islamic extremists that now dominates the Democratic Party.

“'Socialist” may be too mild a characterization of El-Sayed. He wants to enact socialized medicine, end enforcement of immigration laws, put a 7% annual wealth tax on billionaires, have the government seize control of AI companies, make college “free” for everyone, and adopt a universal basic income. At the same time, like so many Democrats these days, he is a bitter anti-Semite.

"And it turns out that quite a bit of his financial support comes from the pro-terrorist Council on American-Islamic Relations. For those who may not remember, CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case, the biggest criminal prosecution of supporters of terrorist groups:" . . .  More...

Mike Rogers Begins Outreach to Michigan Democrats Who Don’t Support El-Sayed   . . . "It was a smart move to make, as there were warning signs weeks before the primary that centered around rumors that Jewish Democrats in the state would not only be voting for Rogers in the general election if El-Sayed won the primary, but that they would also fundraise for him:

"Several Jewish Michigan Democrats admitted Tuesday they or people they know will be backing Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers in the upcoming election if Abdul El-Sayed becomes the Democratic nominee." . . .With the exception of Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, my party’s leaders have sought to appease the dangerous faction rising in our midst. Weak, timid figures like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are spouting empty clichés — “We are a big-tent party” — while abdicating their moral and political responsibilities." . . .

BREAKING: Netanyahu Rejects Trump’s Board of Peace 15-Point Gaza Plan: ‘No Withdrawal Until Hamas Fully Disarms’

 Gateway Hispanic

"Israeli PM also vows no Palestinian state in Gaza or West Bank while he is in office

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday firmly rejected a 15-point plan for Gaza put forward by President Donald Trump's Board of Peace, declaring that the Israeli military will not make “any withdrawal” from Palestinian territory until Hamas is completely and genuinely disarmed.

"Speaking at a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu made Israel's position crystal clear: "Israel rejects the 15-point Gaza document proposed by the Board of Peace. The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed."

"He stressed that any disarmament must be real—covering heavy weapons, lighter weapons and all weapons—not a “fictitious” arrangement. Israeli forces will continue to act against threats to soldiers and civilians, he added.

"Netanyahu went further on the question of a future Palestinian state, stating: "As long as I am prime minister, there will be no Palestinian state, not in Gaza and not in Judea and Samaria. Neither 'Fatahstan' nor 'Hamastan.'"

"The Israeli leader noted that talks with the Trump administration are ongoing.

“'They have ideas, some of which are acceptable to us and some of which are not, and we know how to stand up to these things,” he said. “We have proven this in the past and we are proving it today.” . . .

. . . "Separately, long-running claims that Israel “funded Hamas” refer mainly to earlier Israeli coordination of Qatari cash transfers into Gaza for civilian salaries, fuel and humanitarian needs under Hamas rule.

"Critics have argued that those transfers ultimately strengthened Hamas. Israeli officials, however, maintained that the money was intended to prevent the collapse of Gaza's civilian infrastructure and maintain calm, while Hamas's primary military support came from Iran and other sources" . . .  More...

An Israeli survivor of the Hamas’ Oct. 7th attack has reportedly taken his own life on the grave of his girlfriend who was murdered by the Hamas terrorists

NY Post (h/t Thereza B) The body of Bar Asraf, 30, was found on Saturday evening at the burial site of his slain girlfriend Liron Barda, almost three years after her death at the Nova Festival massacre, according to Israeli news site JFeed.

"NY Post The traumatized survivor shared a goodbye message on his Instagram page prior to the grisly immolation — describing the pain and loss he has felt since the massacre that took his partner.

“I’m truly sorry. I can’t bear this pain any longer,” Shalev said in a heartbreaking message to Instagram Friday, the outlet reported. “I’m burning inside, and I can’t contain it anymore. “Never in my life have I felt such pain and suffering — deep, burning, eating me from within. I just want this suffering to end. I’m alive — but inside, I’m already dead.”
"On Oct. 7, 2023, Shalev was wounded during the Hamas attack on the Nova festival near Re’im, which he attended with his girlfriend 25-year-old Mapal Adam, according to The Times of Israel. They hid under a truck and played dead for hours as blood-soaked chaos raged around them — until one terrorist fatally shot Adam at close range. Shalev was shot twice while attempting to protect his girlfriend but survived.
"In a 2024 Youtube interview, Shalev recounted the horrific day. Shalev said he and Adam said “I love you” and closed their eyes to play dead just minutes before a Hamas militant approached and shot each of them. “They disappeared and I opened my eyes — Mapal is next to me in a pool of blood. She get bullet in her heart.”
"Just days after the Oct. 7 massacre, Shalev’s mother committed suicide, also setting her car on fire, according to Israeli public broadcaster KAN.' . . .
