Code Pink To Muslims: ‘Help Us Cleanse Our Country’

AtlasShrugs "Under the banner of ‘anti-war’ activism, the radical group Code Pink is running banner advertisements on the English language version of the official Web site of a terrorist sympathizing group, the Muslim Brotherhood, one of which invites the Muslim Brotherhood to “join us in cleansing our country.” The ad is entitled ‘Arrest The War Criminals.’ Only problem is, Code Pink believes the war criminals are none other than George W. Bush and Co. And they’re actively recruiting radical Muslim terrorists to help them in their cause." Code Pinkie Jodie Evans is a frequent visitor to this White House.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AT ITS BEST

Boortz "You know how I rant and rave about the phrase "less fortunate." That is a favorite among the left, or "progressives" as they like to be called. (You do know that the "progressive" word first showed up as a replacement word for "socialist", don't you?) Well it seems that they are taking politically correct war on words to a new level."

Where's the brave art world that stood up to John Ashcroft?

ClassicalValues "According to the New York Post, they have a bad case of "jihad jitters." "The Metropolitan Museum of Art," the Post reported yesterday, "quietly pulled images of the Prophet Mohammed from its Islamic collection and may not include them in a renovated exhibition area slated to open in 2011." Why? "The museum said the controversial images -- objected to by conservative Muslims who say their religion forbids images of their holy founder -- were 'under review.'" "

Dearborn Muslim Activist Gets Death Threats For Holding Anti-Terror Peace Rally

GatewayPundit "Caller: “I will shoot you. I will put a bullet in your head.” Last Friday, Moughni led 150 Muslims protesting the act of terrorism on Christmas Day. The protest was held outside of federal court in Downtown Detroit while Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, was being arraigned inside. "

The Tea Party Protesters Were There First

Jennifer Rubin in Commentary "The tea party activists have been written off by as rage-filled ignoramuses — just angry, unthinking riff-raff, the liberal pundits and many candidates have told us. But they miss the point. This is one of the more ideologically driven and, yes, idea-rich, populist movements in a long time. These people have a rather well-developed intellectual framework. As Barone explains..."

Al Qaeda targets Navy

Washington Times "An al Qaeda Web site last week announced that in response to U.S. targeting of al Qaeda terrorists in Yemen it would launch a campaign against U.S. Navy interests, including seeking data on naval nuclear weapons and Navy personnel and their families." Hat tip: Weasel Zippers. ---Al-Qaeda Targets the Navy :"In 2003, U.S. intelligence officials told Congress they believed that al-Qaeda controlled at least 15 cargo ships. “There were ships associated with bin Laden’s organization [that moved] weapons, and also people,” a defense official said. The fear was that al-Qaeda would use one of these ships to transport a dirty bomb into an American port.".... "Come February, they will have a formidable new nemesis in the USS Independence."

Bush Did It! And, Really, Bush Did It! And Bush Really Did It!

Victor Davis Hanson "All things being equal, the idea that a terrorist will spend a lot of time in a cell in Cuba if caught seems much less of a recruiting tool than hearing that your enemy has banned the use of “war against terror,” made up grand achievements of your civilization, apologized for his country’s sins, publicly bowed to prominent autocratic Muslims, promised a public trial in New York for your heroic mastermind of 9/11, and in general blamed the war on his predecessor. All that seems quite an encouragement to join al Qaeda in comparison to the punishment of incarceration if caught."

Will Reid's problems slow health care reform?

Rick Moran, AT " "Whether this dynamic actually gives Pelosi any real traction in the big debates remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Reid is weakened both inside the Capitol and back home and Pelosi is heading into health care negotiation with a long wish list for the House." What the article fails to mention is that the more Pelosi adds stuff from the House bill, the less likely moderate senators will be to support the final product."

Your Negro, My Macaca: Let’s not get into this smarmy business.

By Mona Charen, NRO "Senator Reid used the word “Negro.” It’s out of date, but is it now offensive? Is it the new “N” word? Just a blink of an eye ago, “black” was the preferred locution. Jesse Jackson decided it should be “African American,” and the country went along. But the slower adopters (even your humble columnist, who prefers less orotund expressions) sometimes still say “black.” How long until that becomes a sin?"

Martha Coakley Is Not Just Wrong on Terror War – She’s Dangerous (Must-See Video)

Gateway Pundit "On Monday Senate Candidate Martha Coakley told Massachusetts voters that it was time to pull out of Afghanistan. Coakley said she was not sure there was a way to succeed. “I think we have done what we are going to be able to do in Afghanistan. I think that we should plan an exit strategy. Yes. I’m not sure there is a way to succeed. If the goal was and the mission in Afghanistan was to go in because we believed that the Taliban was giving harbor to terrorists. We supported that. I supported that. They’re gone. They’re not there anymore.”"

No Way to Run a War

Jennifer Rubin, Commentary "....But of course, being commander in chief requires much more. It entails an ongoing process of rallying the country, explaining our mission, tamping down infighting, publicly supporting our military commanders, and assuring friends and foes that we’re committed to victory. Unfortunately, Obama seems to have other things to do. The country and his own image will suffer as a result."
