Unbelievable… Seniors Not Allowed to Pray Before Meals at Nursing Home
Gateway Pundit "Senior citizens are no longer allowed to pray before meals at the Port Wentworth’s Ed Young Senior Citizens Center near Savannah, Georgia. Local officials say the meals are now provided with federal money and therefore the seniors are not allowed to pray before meals." Who thinks up these rules anyway?

When will Janet Napolitano be held accountable?
Mark Hemingway "This morning, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the administration now believed that Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad planned his attack at the behest of the Pakistani Taliban. That's quite an about face, considering that earlier in the week Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano asserted probably Shahzad acted alone. "
The Big Alienation
Patriot Post "The fastest-growing demographic in America is the Hispanic vote, and if either party cracks down on illegal immigration, it risks losing that vote for generations. But while the Democrats worry about the prospects of the Democrats and the Republicans about the well-being of the Republicans, who worries about America? No one. Which the American people have noticed, and which adds to the dangerous alienation — actually it's at the heart of the alienation — of the age. Peggy Noonan
The Success of the Times Square Terrorist
Max Boot "In a way, then, such low-level attacks as the one in Times Square are actually more useful to terrorists than more successful bombings: they create terror but avoid a serious backlash."
Surprising Guests in a Russian Parade: American Troops
NY Times "Never before in history have active-duty American troops been invited to march in the Victory Day parade, according to the United States military. The occasion is the 65th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II, a date that carries an almost sacred meaning in Russia. Russian leaders have taken pains to explain that the Americans — along with contingents from Britain, France and Poland — were invited as representatives of the “anti-Hitler coalition.”
The Appalling Media Double Standard on Reporting Political Violence
Pajamas Media "The message from the media was clear: any violence against their liberal allies will be broadcast far and wide, and any threat or slur will be published as fact, no matter how dubious the claim. The reverse, sadly, is not true, and that is not a recent development. While the media is all over the recent bombing attempt in Times Square, they quickly swept the 2008 bombing of the Times Square military recruiting station under the rug." Bob Owens blogs at Confederate Yankee .
Boycott the boycotters
Ralph Alter "The American Tea Party movement and its sympathizers represent a significant majority of Americans. They have already promised to boycott the Democrat party come November. The mass retirements of incumbent Democrat congressmen suggests that they are getting the message. If the amnesty crowd wants to start playing the boycott card, let's join in and see how things work out."
Putin disinvites Biden to WW II anniversary celebration
American Thinker "Why such a muted response from Mr. Obama and Secretary of State Clinton? They were loud and aggressive in their response to a perceived snub of Mr. Biden by Israel, doesn't this deliberate insult to the vice president merit a similar response? Where is the MSM coverage of this story? It looks like this is yet another curious chapter in the Obama foreign policy pay book."
Supreme Court: Roll The Dice On Kagan?
Legal Insurrection "I'm not ready to say that Kagan should be confirmed if nominated, but would a roll of the dice really be that bad considering the alternatives?" William A. Jacobson
Motherhood Matters
Journal for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood "They save the precious handmade Mother's Day cards. They savor the sweet, sticky kisses. They remember forever how their children's sparkling eyes light up when they spot mom at the door of the church nursery, knowing that no one else will suffice. At the end of the day, motherhood matters because we are charged with the awesome task to train the next generation..." Mary K. Mohler
Happy Mother's Day ; a history
Newsbusters "During the 1600's, the early Christians in England celebrated a day to honor Mary, the mother of Christ. By a religious order the holiday was later expanded in its scope to include all mothers, and named as the Mothering Sunday. Celebrated on the 4th Sunday of Lent (the 40 day period leading up to Easter), "Mothering Sunday" honored the mothers of England."...
