Trump Hits Back At Media After Accusations Of Inciting Two Mass Shootings

Did the press blame Obama for the horror of Sandy Hook?

Daily Wire  "President Donald Trump hit back against the news media on Monday after he was consistently blamed for causing the pair of mass shootings that occurred over the weekend."  . . .

The Media has a big responsibility to life and safety in our Country. Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years. News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased, or these terrible problems will only get worse!
"The president’s remarks come on the heels of two recent mass shootings that took place less than one day apart. On Saturday, a gunman opened fire in a Walmart shopping complex in El Paso, Texas, murdering at least 20 individuals and injuring more than two dozen others. A second attacker took the lives of nine people and injured nearly 30 others after he gunned down people in a Dayton, Ohio bar early Sunday morning.
"Democratic lawmakers and the news media have repeatedly accused the president of stoking racism and inciting violence since taking office. Only hours after the first shooting garnered national attention, the left-wing of the aisle began to point fingers at Trump for causing the tragedy." . . .
Never trust CNN: School shooting survivor: CNN told me to stick to script
"Parkland, Fla. student Colton Haab says he pulled out of a CNN town hall on gun control because producers re-worded and wrote out his question for him"

Mass murderers: tools of the left

2020 Dems Rush to Blame Trump for 'White Supremacy' After El Paso Shooting
. . . "While Trump has warned about an "invasion" of illegal immigrants (a defensible comparison given the large volume of recent migrants), the terrorist mass shooter in El Paso seems to have had his own agenda independent from the president's rhetoric.
"The manifesto, which has been confirmed by local authorities, "criticized both Democrats and Republicans and expressed anti-government and anti-corporate views. The author claimed to have developed those beliefs before Trump’s presidency," NBC News reported."

Politicizing Murder with Lies  "Exploiting the deaths of innocents in El Paso and Dayton for political gain."
"The bodies in Gilroy, El Paso, and Dayton were still in the morgue when the progressive “carrion-picking crows” started politicizing the murders. But everything they said about gun control, “white nationalism,” and Trump’s culpability was based on lies and stale clichés recycled for political gain." . . .
. . . "Finally, the Democrats’ habit of using mass shootings as fodder for their partisan political message is despicable. If they really cared about crimes against “people of color,” they would have long ago been talking about the violence of blacks against black people in the cities they run. It’s shocking moral idiocy that a party continually harping on “racism” ignores the fact that more blacks are murdered in one year than were killed in the whole history of racist violence from Reconstruction to the Civil Rights Act.
"But as Trump pointed out about Baltimore, that would require the black elite to actually do something for their “brothers” and “sisters” trapped in Blue-State plantations. How much easier, and lucrative, it is to rail against “racism” and marginal “white nationalists,” and to exploit a tragedy in order to demonize a president who has done more for black and Latino Americans than Barack Obama ever did." . . .
The El Paso Blame Game  . . . "Then again, too, Mr. Trump’s is not the only language echoed in that demented document. Start with the title — “The Inconvenient Truth About Me.” Whose language is echoed there? We do not, even for a second, blame Al Gore or advocates of the Green New Deal. Yet the manifesto veers from complaining about a “Hispanic invasion” to railing about how our modern lifestyle is destroying the environment." . . .  CNN is referred to in here...naturally.

Trump again speciously blamed for the insanity of others
"It is hardly a surprise that the leftists in the media and among the Democratic presidential candidates would immediately blame President Trump for the two horrific mass shootings that occurred over thirteen hours on Saturday.  It's what they do.  Having no scruples whatsoever, they jump at every opportunity to malign the president, no matter how specious their accusations. " . . .
. . . "They all know he de-segregated his elite golf club of Palm Beach.  They know he was pals with Don King, Mike Tyson, even the odious Al Sharpton in the old days.  They all know he is not a racist, but they do not care about the truth.  They only care about defeating the man who is showing them up day after day since he was elected by succeeding." . . .

Dayton Shooter Was A Pro-Satan Leftist Who Supported Warren, Sanders, Antifa And Communism  . . . "And while the media was eager to quickly expose the El Paso shooter as a right-wing extremist with the implication that he is merely following Trump's belligerent rhetoric, only few details had emerged about the Dayton, Ohio shooter although we certainly understand why the mainstream media may not have rushed to make these alleged details public - because according to Heavy.com, the Dayton shooter was an Elizabeth Warren (and Bernie Sanders) supporter who advocated for socialism, communism and supported Antifa." . . .

Playing the Blame Game in El Paso and Dayton; "How can we use social media to avoid mass shootings?"
. . . "And despite CNN’s obsession with “angry, young, white males” as violence-prone mass shooters, what about a general decline in the culture and pluralism, and the sanctioned ridicule of religious values? This has been concomitant with the coarsening of language and pervasive disrespect and incivility: even on our most prestigious college campuses, rampant and promiscuous name-calling (“racist,” “sexist”) long predate Donald Trump. The demonization (e.g., “The Deplorables”) was not a consequence but a cause of Trump’s ascendancy." . . .
CNN's  lemon, Mr. Lemon
Hysteria is rampant, not entirely for humanitarian reasons, but also for politics, especially fanned by the partisan demagogues at CNN. In one interview, presidential candidate and usually childish Beto O’Rourke blames El Paso on the “hatred on Fox News.”
CNN’s so-called news anchors and reporters recite predictable talking points as well as ask leading questions, preparatory to, for example, the outburst that “Donald Trump is responsible” for the mass shootings, as the once-temperate Cory Booker proclaims, as did O’Rourke, in the endless bidding war among Democrat candidates, for far-left ideologue.

Confused elderly man Joe Biden offers condolences for ‘tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan’

Thomas Lifson  "We all misspeak from time to time. But with the national spotlight on nothing else but the shootings in El Paso and Dayton, you’d think that Joe Biden would know the locations. But speaking yesterday to a group of supporters at a fundraiser, he wasn’t even close. Emily Larsen reports in the Daily Caller:
Former Vice President Joe Biden misstated the locations of mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, while speaking to donors at a high-dollar fundraiser in San Diego on Sunday night.
Biden, 76, mistakenly referred to the shootings as “the tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before," but later corrected himself, according to a pool report. Biden seemingly confused Houston for El Paso and Michigan for Ohio when speaking to donors about the shootings.
"This confusion suggests something disturbing about the way Biden’s mind works. Texas is an undifferentiated whole, so Houston and El Paso – 746 road miles apart from each other, one a semi-tropical coastal, worldly, mega-metropolis, the other a high desert (3800 feet) hardscrabble-ish border town – are interchangeable. (I’ve sent time in both cities and they are very, very different in almost every respect, geographically, economically, socially, and ethnically.)  Even worse is Biden’s vague sense of the industrial Midwest, moving Dayton, Ohio to Michigan." . . .

If Trump’s To Blame For El Paso Shooting, Is Warren To Blame For Dayton?

Issues & Insights

"As night follows day, the two horribly tragic mass shootings have Democrats pointing fingers of blame at President Trump. Except one shooter, in addition to being a white supremacist, was also an anti-corporatist environmentalist who backs universal health care, and the other was a leftist supporter of Elizabeth Warren. Trying to pin the blame for these maniacs’ murderous actions on any one person, other than the shooter, is political opportunism at its worst.
"Beto O’Rourke jumped in on Sunday, declaring that Trump was responsible for the shooting in El Paso, Texas, which claimed 20 lives and injured 26 more. O’Rourke declared that Trump “is a racist, and he stokes racism in this country. And it does not just offend our sensibilities, it fundamentally changes the character of this country, and it leads to violence.”
O’Rourke went on to claim that “We’ve had a rise in hate crimes every single one of the last three years during an administration where you have a president who’s called Mexicans rapists and criminals.”
"O’Rourke is hardly the only one blaming Trump. Critics instantly seized on a manifesto allegedly penned by the suspected shooter, in which he complains about the “Hispanic invasion of Texas,” to link the shooting to Trump.
"Princeton professor Eddie Glaude said on “Meet the Press” that “Hispanic invasion” is “almost the exact same language of the president of the United States.”
"But assuming that manifesto — posted on the Drudge Report — is credible, the person who wrote it also happens to share many policy positions with Democrats. He’s mad about the environment, he wants universal health care, he hates big corporations and job-killing automation.
"The manifesto, for example, complains that “our lifestyle is destroying the environment of our country. The decimation of the environment is creating a massive burden for future generations. Corporations are heaing (sic) the destruction of our environment by shamelessly over harvesting resources.” . . .

Democrats and mass murderers: a marriage of convenience

What Democrats attempted with Justice Kavanaugh they now try on our President. TD

Leftists Change Shooter Patrick Crusius’s MyLife Page after Saturday Shooting from Democrat to Republican — Page Created After Shooting!  Good work, Gateway Pundit

MyLife is an American information brokerage founded in 2002 as Reunion.com. MyLife gathers personal information through public records and other sources to automatically generate a “MyLife Public Page” for each person, described by MyLife as a “complete Wikipedia-like biography on every American.” At 2:46 PM today MyLife had this profile for the deranged killer Patrick Crusius. His original profile at 2:46 said he was a registered Democrat
"At 2:50 PM leftists changed his political affiliation from Democrat to Republican."
"At 2:52 his profile was changed again.                                                                       "His description now says he is a Republican and QAnon member."

Ohio Board of Elections Website Shows Mass Shooter Connor Betts a Registered Democrat  Make note of this for future reference.
Left tries dishonesty in bid to turn El Paso shooter into a Republican
. . . "Neither of these things were true. Both were dishonest manipulations to smear Republicans and their leader. What this shows is the extent to which the left will go to pin anything they can on Trump. The people who did this were extraordinarily dishonest, trying to alter facts in the name of scoring political points. Obviously, they were Alinskyites who never let a crisis go to waste, and like Bill Ayers, they are convinced that the end justifies the means. Facts are malleable. They'll do anything to cast blame to people who had nothing to do with this madman, his ravings, or his evil act." . . .
Another hoax. This picture of guns arranged to say “Trump” is trending, attributed to the El Paso shooter with claims that these were his firearms. A quick reverse image search shows that the shooter did not take this photo. It’s been on Reddit for ages.

Despicable O’Rourke tries to save his failing presidential campaign by blaming President Trump for his hometown tragedy  . . . "I cannot contain my contempt for the fake Hispanic multimillionaire posing as a crusader for the little guy and gal. I hope the grieving families and the injured who even now are struggling for their lives or feeling the pain of gunshot wounds understand that their suffering is being used by an unprincipled politician to grab power." . . .                               The left's big blame game after El Paso: Guns, Trump, white supremacy  "That won't stop the left. Already, they have attempted to paint the killer as a Republican, actually changing the man's registration from Democrat to Republican on some social media site as GatewayPundit reported here."

ABC Decides Trump Needs to ‘Answer for’ Mass Shootings He Caused  . . . "Karl was teed up by GMA co-host Dan Harris who played a soundbite of former El Paso Congressman Beto O’Rourke, who called “racist” Trump the cause of the shootings. “Several of the Democrats who are running for president right now are tieing President Trump to these mass shootings,” Harris said. “Is it fair, Jon, to tie the President to this violence?”
“ 'Dan, whether or not it's fair, he's going to have to answer those questions. " . . .
CNN speculates injured El Paso victims afraid to go to hospitals because of immigration status  . . . "But it appears there haven’t been “troubling reports” — there’s just been the ONE report from CNN.
"It’s unclear why, if CNN’s claims are valid, they haven’t been confirmed by any other outlets. Some critics believe CNN and those sharing its claims are “playing politics”:

You, sir, are the enemy of the people.— Derrick Simon (@SimmyDerrick) August 3, 2019Is this laundered or real?
Is this laundered or real?Last time I tracked the facts on CNN, it was laundered. Speculation gets laundered into truth all the time…this is the penultimate step in the process. Tomorrow it will be a FACT that illegals avoided getting treatment because of their status.  — ILikeToThink (@IThinkBasic) August 4, 2019

Updated: El Paso Mayor Has The Perfect Response When Asked About Trump's 'Racism,' White Nationalism

The American left, CNN, MSNBC, and Democrat candidates rub their hands with glee over the shootings.

Beth Baumann  "After former Congressman Beto O'Rourke (D) appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" and cited President Donald Trump's alleged racism as the reason behind the "violence in America," host Jake Tapper pressed El Paso Mayor Dee Margo on the issue.
"Despite Tapper's repeated attempts to get Margo to take a stance on Trump's alleged racism, the Mayor shut him down.
"Former Congressman from El Paso, Beto O'Rourke, told me earlier in the show that, in his view, the president's anti-immigrant rhetoric is making things worse and creating an atmosphere of violence. Do you agree? Do you have any concerns about the things President Trump says about immigrants?" Tapper asked." . . .

"Jake Tapper: Do you think President Trump is a white nationalist?
Beto O’Rourke: Yes, I do

"Let’s not even pretend CNN is not an arm of the Democratic Party. Last time Marco Rubio went on CNN over Parkland, CNN allowed him to be called a murderer and blamed him for the shooting." . . .

Bobby Francis O’Rourke Asks For Donations For Shooting Victims, Directs People To His Campaign Website
Eric Bradner says the donate button is for O'Rourke's campaign.

The way I see it, while families of those involved struggle with these disasters, anti-Trump leftists raise their glasses to celebrate these events. TD

Bobby Francis (Beto) O’Rourke Spreads Hoaxes on CNN; Jake Tapper Fails to Correct "O’Rourke, speaking to Jake Tapper of CNN on State of the Union while standing in El Paso, compared the president’s rhetoric to the Third Reich of Nazi Germany, and blamed Fox News and “the Internet” for the shooting. He also said the following:" . . .

Iran’s ‘proxy’ terror army with cells ready to strike across West

What can they do to us that we aren't doing to ourselves?

Daily Star  "Iranian opposition activists and security analysts have revealed the extent of the terrorist groups linked to the regime in Tehran.
"Operations linked to Iran reach deep into Europe and in the US as part of the regime’s use of “proxy” terrorist groups.
"And all of these are overseen by the military group known as the Quds Force, watched over by the powerful Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
Iran has forces dedicated to training terrorist soldiers
"The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) - an opposition group which advocates the overthrow of the regime - warned the worsening political situation will see more use of these so-called proxies."Security intelligence group StratFor also earlier this year detailed the spread of these forces - with Iran believed to have linked forces in at least six countries in the Middle East.
"It comes as tensions flare in the Middle East as the dissolution of the so-called nuclear deal has paved the way for a new tanker war in the Strait of Hormuz."

Race-baiting CNN Claims Robots In Pop Culture Is Evidence of ‘Racism’

Heaven help us! What have we become as a society?

The Lid
Regardless, CNN insisted that robots in reality and popular science fiction are white because of the racism inherent in human society. “The reason for these shades of technological white may be racism, according to new research,” CNN intoned.

"Once again, CNN shows how devoid of facts it really is with a story exclaiming that robots with white exteriors must somehow mean that robot makers are “racist.”CNN was totally serious reporting on a “study” that claimed that white robots are examples of white supremacy. Have you ever noticed the popularity of white robots? ” CNN exclaimed in its August 1 news article. Have they ever noticed the popularity of robots of all colors?
"Of course, you know what these dopes would say if robots were made with black exteriors? They would say that it is an example of “enslaving” robots and an example of white people trying to recreate slavery. Because, you know, literally everything is racism to these fools.
"On its tweet, CNN used a photo of a NASA robot manufactured all in white plastics." . . .
Have you ever noticed the popularity of white robots? The reason for these shades of technological white may be racism, according to new research. https://t.co/PHJHO91VtA
. . . "The NASA robot pictured is the R5 Valkyrie which the space agency has slated for work on the surface of Mars.
"However, the robot built by NASA is not white because of the racism inherent in its engineers, but because of the scientific requirements for the machine’s tasks, such as heat resistance and the like. The color black absorbs heat and white reflects heat. That’s one of the reasons that golfers generally wear a light color on a hot day." . . .
Lemon
Recall when CNN's Don Lemon asked if that Malaysian passenger jet could have been swallowed up by a "black hole"? Was that racist?  . . . "But when Lemon Twitter-sourced questions about the missing Malaysian Airlines plane again on Wednesday night he went another step beyond Sunday’s “supernatural” event theory: he and his panel discussed the possibility of a “black hole” swallowing the jetliner.
He read out tweets that compared the mystery to “Lost” and “The Twilight Zone” before asking Mary Schiavo, a former U.S. Department of Transportation inspector general, to weigh in on the black hole theory.
“That’s what people are saying,” Lemon said. “I know it’s preposterous — but is it preposterous you think, Mary?”

Weird Lines From CNN’s Democratic Debates That Nobody Is Covering

The Lid

". . . After an 18 hour day of reading, researching, and writing about politics, my brain needed a break. But feeling guilty I’d turn to CNN for a moment or two during commercial breaks for the more entertaining TV program. For some reason, however, during almost every one of those short debate views, I’d hear candidates say something extraordinary or ask a bizarre question, such as the candidate who admitted to being a peeping, Tom.
"Since the two debates ended, some of those strange lines were mentioned by the MSM, but they covered up what the candidates were really saying."
. . .
"It was astonishing that no one pointed out Elizabeth Warren said something proving she knew little about politics. She said, “I don’t understand why anybody goes to all the trouble of running for president of the United States just to talk about what we really can’t do and shouldn’t fight for. I don’t get it!”  Anybody who’s ever followed politics knows the reason.
"Those candidates she criticized run to make money off of writing a book, to increase their fees for speaking engagements, and secure a contributor gig on MSNBC or CNN." . . .

Armed Citizen Tells How He Helped Get Children Out Of Danger At El Paso Mall

Better to speak about the hero who rushed into danger to save kids than to give the murderer one word of recognition. This should get some campaign dollars for Bobby O'Rourke. TD

GUN-CARRYING HERO Saw “Scared Kids Without Parents” Running In El Paso Mall…Grabbed Them…Tried To Get Them To Safety
Meet the soldier who rushed into danger to help these children . . . "Oakley explained that he was trying to pick up as many kids as possible, but they were “so anxious” that they were squirming out of his arms. “They were without their parents and stuff, so I was just trying to pick up as many as possible.”
The KTSM reporter asked him what it was like to be in the mall, Oakley told her that he’s in the military and that it brought back flashbacks for him. He ended the interview by saying, “I’m not even worried about myself, I’m just worried about the kids.”
"Glen Oakley is a true hero!"

UK Daily Mail features Army veteran Oakley

  • U.S. Army Spc. Glendon Oakley told reporters he picked up as many small kids as he could and hauled them out of the store Saturday
. . . "After hearing the gunshots, Oakley said he drew the handgun he was licensed to carry before looking for a place to hide. Then he noticed a bunch of people fleeing from a nearby Footlocker store.
" 'They just dipped. So I ran with them. I just tried to make my way to the parking lot,' Oakley said.
"On his way out, however, the military veteran saw a group of panicking children who were running around inside the shopping plaza unsure of what to do. Their parents were nowhere in sight, he said.

" 'I got my bag in my hand. I'm trying to pick them up, as many as I can, just run out,' Oakley said. 'But they're so anxious, they're, like, jumping out of my hands. Ain't much I can do for the kids, so I just made my way out.' " . . .
HERO!' said Twitter user JamieR Army Girl. 'Active Duty member Glen Oakley, who was near the El Paso Walmart rushed to protect children during the shooting! Thank you and God Bless you!'
'What a honorable man' tweeted Judy M. Poston
'A real life superhero,' added Twitter user Jhobbs.
At least 18 people have been confirmed dead in the aftermath of the shooting, the latest in a string of mass shootings that have left the nation on high alert.

After Dems Praise Al Sharpton, WaPo Publishes Devastating Piece Detailing His Ugly Past

Maxine Waters, take note.

Daily Wire  "In response to President Trump slamming Maryland's Rep. Elijah Cummings for letting Baltimore become a crime-ridden, "rat and rodent infested mess," activist Al Sharpton announced Monday that he'd be visiting the city in solidarity with the Democrat and the Baltimore community. Trump responded by taking aim at Sharpton in a blistering tweet: "Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops!' "

"Several Democrat candidates came out in defense of Sharpton, including Biden here:
"And they did more than just defend him; they praised him as "a champion in the fight for civil rights," as Biden put it." Washington Examiner executive editor Seth Mandel
. . .  "Calling Sharpton a lifelong fighter for 'justice' ignores his history of race-baiting and deadly anti-Semitic incitement," Mandel writes before laying out some of the devastating details from Sharpton's past that he's never been forced to fully address and that Democrats have nearly uniformly whitewashed. An excerpt:
In August 1991, after City College professor Leonard Jeffries ranted that “everyone knows rich Jews helped finance the slave trade” and that “Russian Jewry had a particular control over the movies, and their financial partners, the Mafia, put together a financial system of destruction of black people,” Sharpton rushed to his defense, threatening: “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.” Days later, a Jewish driver accidentally struck and killed a black 7-year-old named Gavin Cato in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. That set off three days of rioting, in the first hours of which a group of African Americans chanting “Kill the Jew” did just that, beating and stabbing an Orthodox Jew named Yankel Rosenbaum, who died of his injuries.     But Sharpton was only warming up. He led crowds in shouting for “justice” — pay attention here, Sen. Warren — as rioters wantonly beat Jews in the streets to chants of “Heil Hitler.” At Cato’s funeral, Sharpton poured out every last drop of gasoline he had left: “Talk about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights. The issue is not anti-Semitism; the issue is apartheid. … All we want to say is what Jesus said: If you offend one of these little ones, you got to pay for it. No compromise, no meetings, no kaffeeklatsch, no skinnin’ and grinnin’.”
 Much more here.
