The Switcheroos of the Two Parties

 Victor Davis Hanson

Third, the real rulers of the party are the hyper-rich of Big Tech, Wall Street, Hollywood, the corporate boardroom, the administrative state, the media, and the legal world. Almost all these institutions have lost public confidence and poll miserably. Their cocooned leaders are never subject to the ramifications of their own often unworkable policies.

Another Democrat scold

"Our two parties have both changed, and that explains why one will win, and one lose in the midterm elections. The old Democrats have faded away after being overwhelmed by radicals and socialists.Moderates who once embraced former President Bill Clinton's opportunistic "third way" are now either irrelevant or nonexistent.Once considered too wacky and socialist to be taken seriously, Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the performance-art "squad," the radicals of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and her hard progressive wing are today's Democratic Party kingpins. The alienating radicals of Antifa and Black Lives Matter often serve as the new party's shock troops on the streets. They opportunistically appear to push the party to embrace no-bail laws, defunding the police, and the destruction of the fossil fuel industry.Since none of those positions poll even close to 50 percent with the public, the Democrats routinely either slur their opponents as racists, nativists, and climate denialists or obsess on another Trump psychodrama distraction from the Russia collusion hoax to the Mar-a-Lago raid.". . .

Kayleigh McEnany and Fox News Annihilate Competition, Boast More Viewers Than CNN and MSNBC Combined

There’s also an argument to be made that, at the end of the day, people are simply more interested in truth and transparency and not just another network carrying the Biden administration’s proverbial water.   Claire O'Hare

AnalyzingAmerica.org   "Fox News has control over the airwaves once again. Fox News is drawing more viewers than its competitors.

“Outnumbered, a daily show has about 2 million viewers per day. Kayleigh McEnany and Harris Faulkner host the show.

"McEnany, a former White House press secretary, is the new addition as a full-time co-host.

"During that same time slot, CNN and MSNBC’s showings reported 638,000 and 685,000 viewers, while “Outnumbered” had 1.96 million viewers.

"The rating charts show that the age group is 24-54. In that group, McEnany brought in the most viewers, 256,000 viewers.

"CNN and MSNBC combined had less than 200,000 viewers. . .

Former Top Swimmer Rips Into Biden For Interview With Transgender Activist Who Called for Public to "normalize" Women Having Visible "bulges" in Their Crotch Area

"Womanhood is not, and should not, be a mental disorder suffered by men.” -Riley Gaines

100%FedUp  "Trans activist Dylan Mulvaney, a 25-year-old biological male from San Diego, was recently invited to the White House for an interview with Joe Biden. In the interview, Biden and Mulvaney discussed trans rights, abortion rights, climate change, criminal legal reform, gun legislation, and economic stability.

"Mulvaney has been documenting their transition  into “girlhood” on social media in a video series called “Days of Girlhood.” Mulvaney, who less than a year ago identified as a man, is now so celebrated as a female that they get to go to meet the President of the United States.". . .

Report: Migrant Caravans Are Preparing To Flood The US Border Ahead Of Midterms…

Via Daily Caller:

Guatemala’s interior minister has intelligence that large caravans of migrants will try to get to the U.S. in anticipation of the midterm elections, he said in an exclusive sit-down interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Migrants, who believe the midterm elections could end with Republicans taking back control of Congress, are heading to the U.S. border in large caravans, Guatemalan Interior Minister Napoleon Barrientos told the DCNF. The migrants think that they have a short window to make the trek because it may not be as easy to immigrate to the U.S. after the midterm elections, with Republican lawmakers promising to beef up border security and tighten oversight.

Dems to Voters: Why Do You Care About Crime?

But for Democrats, protecting New Yorkers from violent attack is not the goal of law enforcement. The main objective of the criminal justice system is to ensure that it does not "worsen racial disparities," as explained by The New York Times' Mara Gay.

Ann Coulter   "Last week in New York City, career criminal Argenis Rivera punched a woman who was pushing her 2-year-old in a stroller, then began choking her, screaming that she was a "white bitch." He let go only to attack another woman sitting on a bench, reading -- apparently, also a "white bitch" -- until he was scared off by a man with two dogs who came to the women's rescue.

"This happened at around 1 p.m. in Hudson River Park, a nice area.

"A few months earlier, Rivera had been arrested for punching a doorman in midtown Manhattan, the latest of about a dozen arrests. "But under the law, he was immediately released.

"In February, Frank Abrokwa, 37, was arrested for the 45th time. (Thanks, U.S. immigration officials! Another job well done.) Among Abrokwa's most recent arrests:

-- On Jan. 7, he was arrested for hitting a 30-year-old man, a complete stranger, on a subway platform. Released without bail.

-- On Feb. 5, he was arrested for punching a 53-year-old man, also a stranger, at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Released without bail.

-- On Feb. 21, he was arrested for smashing his own feces into a woman's face as she sat in a subway station. Released without bail.

-- On Feb. 22 -- the very next day! -- he was arrested for shoplifting at a hardware store and threatening employees with a screwdriver. Released without bail.

"All in all, New York's no-bail law is working great! The law is called "no bail" but really means "no jail, not ever, no matter how many times you're arrested."

"How did such a dangerous policy become law? It seems that in 2020, Democrats finally gained total control of state government, the first time that's happened since World War II, except for a single year in 1964.

"And what was the first item on the Democrats' agenda, literally the moment after they were sworn in? Crack down on Wall Street? Fill potholes and creaking bridges?

"NO! They passed a law to ensure that no criminal ever spends a night in jail!". . .

"If that's what you like, watch sports. But if you don't want criminals controlling the streets, destroying neighborhoods and committing violent crimes in parks and subway stations, please vote Republican on Nov. 8."  A.C.

Fetterman Faces Fallout From Disastrous Debate: ‘Worst Performance By Any Candidate I Have Ever Seen’

 Daily Wire

. . ."The fallout from the debate was seen in betting markets, on cable news, and on social media with pundits with various views noting that Fetterman’s obvious health concerns will likely end up being a major factor in the outcome of the race.

“ 'Even with the moderators constantly cutting Fetterman off to protect him from himself, there is nothing the media can do to spin this debate,” political strategist Andrew Surabian tweeted. “I have never seen someone so obviously mentally/physically unfit to serve in office than John Fetterman.”

"PR executive Josh Holmes wrote: “I’ve honestly never seen anything like this. The partisanship required to vote for Fetterman at this point should be studied in a lab.' ”. . .

Man Suffers 'Life Changing Injuries' After Electric Car Bursts Into Flames While Driving Down Highway

Western Journal

"A man suffered serious injuries near Broughton, North Wales, on Tuesday morning when his electric vehicle spontaneously burst into flames.

"According to the Liverpool Echo, the man was driving near the A55, also known as the North Wales Expressway.

"His car reportedly caught on fire without warning, and bystanders rushed to the vehicle to pull the man from the flames. Paramedics attended to the victim at the scene.". . .

On the Debates of Oct 25, 2022

Meghan McCain/ UK Daily Mail: John Fetterman's painful debate performance exposed a cynical political and media cover-up of a Senate hopeful's health. Voters and the candidate HIMSELF deserved better   "Tuesday night's debate between John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz was one of the most difficult that I have ever sat through in my life.

It made me extremely sad. It was uncomfortable to watch. Quite frankly, it never should have happened. But most importantly, Americans cannot pretend that we didn't witness what we witnessed last night.

"We saw a man in the throes of a difficult recovery from a stroke. And we were exposed to a political and media scandal. I would go so far as to call it a cover-up.

"Now, you cannot be human without feeling for John Fetterman. Above all else, he is a man with a family and a compelling political career. He is a man with hopes and ambitions, who was nearly killed by a stroke as he was on the verge of realizing - no doubt - a dream. And nonetheless, as he said last night, he got back up.

"Of course, we've known for weeks that John Fetterman had lingering problems from his stroke.". . .

John Fetterman debate was painful and shameful — he is physically incapable of being a senator  . . ."It’s an act of personal malpractice on the part of those who encouraged him to continue because this singularly upsetting performance is not the way any person on this Earth — and particularly not someone who suffered a calamitous brain shock — should become famous or notorious or be remembered."

Nexstar Fires Back at Fetterman Who Blamed the Caption System for His Performance

Fired-up Lee Zeldin brings the fight to Gov. Hochul, decisively wins only NY governor debate  "If Gov. Kathy Hochul was going to give him only one debate, Rep. Lee Zeldin wasn’t going to waste a second making nice. The Republican challenger brought the fight and focus that he has displayed on the campaign trail and scored a decisive victory Tuesday night.

"This wasn’t a knockout, but a victory on points because he made specific and realistic promises to improve life in New York. Hochul, meanwhile, mostly played defense.

"Even when she played it well, she never really laid out a vision of what four more years would look like and how they would be different from now.". . .

Gretchen Whitmer left thrashing after tangling with Tudor Dixon in Michigan debate

Elections are won, not just with bad Democrats with bad records that are badly defended, but by having good candidates on the other side.  Without the latter, Democrats stay in power forever.  Dixon did a good job forcing Whitmer to answer for her hideous record as governor.  Whitmer was able only to deliver insults such as "conspiracy theorist" in return, which has the strength of a popgun on armor.  Not surprisingly, polls are now showing Dixon a point or two ahead of Whitmer, in what has been considered a fairly "safe" blue state.  Whitmer's debate performance and Dixon's willingness to fight may have sealed Whitmer's fate now.  It couldn't come to a more oppressive and arrogant governor.

WELL, THAT WAS WEIRD  . . ."The debate was hosted by two (lame) moderators. The format presented questions that required answers in quiz-show bites ranging from 15 to 60 seconds as dictated by the moderators with an old-fashioned call bell marking the expiration of the time afforded. “Mr. Oz, I’ll give you 15 seconds to respond.” “Mr. Fetterman, you have 30 seconds.”

"I thought the format worked to Fetterman’s advantage. He was repeatedly saved by the bell when he only had a three-second thought. And yet it is difficult to see how he or the falsehoods peddled on his behalf can be taken seriously after last night.

"Fetterman could not understand the questions posed to him in oral form. He was served by a mostly unseen large screen behind the moderators. The screen presented a running transcript of the debate in closed captions. Questions posed to Fetterman were frequently followed by delays of several seconds as he read them on the screen before answering. The time delay made it seem like the questions were phoned in from outer space.". . .Scott Johnson, Powerline

Kathy Hochul on the Need to Lock Up Criminals: ‘I Don’t Know Why That’s So Important to You’  “We’re halfway through the debate, and she still hasn’t talked about locking up anyone committing any crimes,” Zeldin said, to which Hochul responded, “Anyone who commits a crime under our laws, especially with the change we made to bail, has consequences. I don’t know why that’s so important to you.”

Election Denial Will Win

Conrad Black

Despite nearly two years of prosecutors’ outrageous shakedowns to extort inculpatory evidence under the corrupt American plea bargain system, no link between the wrongdoers of “1/6” (jargon attempting to link it to “9/11″) and Trump has been exposed. This is just another attempt at bloodless Trump assassination.

"All indications now are that the Democrats are finally about to pay for using hate of Donald Trump as a substitute for governing for two years, just as, for four years prior to that, they used Trump hate as a substitute for normal opposition.

"The entire fabric of myths, frauds, and defamations that the national political media have conveniently held up as a safety net for the Democratic Party and this terribly incompetent administration is about to disappear, and the Democrats will finally carry the can for 14 years of incompetence and venality—10 failed years under Barack Obama and Joe Biden, with a four-year interlude when frenzied antagonism to the Trump administration was a divertissement of shamefully unconstitutional and obstructive opposition.

"The greatest liberation of all in the national purgation that now seems likely in the midterm elections in two weeks will be the debunking of the totalitarian fiction that the 2020 election was unquestionably fair. This fraud hangs around the neck of America like an albatross and has been repeated like a catechism by practically every member of the national political media for two years. The ranks of Congress and of the nation’s governors will be crowded with highly motivated, capable, and ethically elected occupants who have campaigned explicitly and energetically on the alleged fraudulence of the 2020 presidential election result.". . .

. . ."Trump did everything he reasonably could to warn the speaker of the House and the mayor of Washington of possible disorder and to encourage the presence of adequate forces to assure the Capitol’s security. Despite nearly two years of prosecutors’ outrageous shakedowns to extort inculpatory evidence under the corrupt American plea bargain system, no link between the wrongdoers of “1/6” (jargon attempting to link it to “9/11″) and Trump has been exposed. This is just another attempt at bloodless Trump assassination."

Police Make Second Arrest in Brutal Beating of Rubio Canvasser; Victim Maintains Attack was Politically Motivated

 National Review

"Police in South Florida have made a second arrest in connection with a vicious weekend attack on a Marco Rubio campaign worker who told authorities he was attacked “because he was a Republican,” according to an arrest report.
"Rubio first tweeted about the attack on Monday. He has highlighted the case as an example of anti-Republican media bias, because local and national media have cast doubt on the accusation that the attack was politically motivated. Rubio believes the latest police report clearly backs his assertion that his canvasser was attacked over his Republican politics.
“ 'When a republican volunteer is savagely beaten the traditional media treats the victim as the criminal and the criminal as a nice young man who likes fishing & just made a mistake,” Rubio said, noting reporting from the Miami Herald.
“ 'Local media spent 2 days treating the GOP canvasser who was attacked as a criminal & denying the attack was politically motivated Now a second arrest, a police report & surveillance video shows how biased & irresponsible the narrative they were pushing was' ”. . .

Russian court upholds WNBA star Brittney Griner's 9-year prison sentence

CBS News  "A Russian court on Tuesday rejected an appeal by U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner of her nine-year prison sentence for drug possession, a step that could move her closer to a possible high-stakes prisoner swap between Moscow and Washington.

"The eight-time all-star center with the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and a two-time Olympic gold medalist was convicted Aug. 4 after police said they found vape canisters containing cannabis oil in her luggage at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport.

"Griner, 32, was not at the Moscow Regional Court hearing but appeared via video link from a penal colony outside the capital where she is held.

"At her trial, Griner admitted to having the canisters in her luggage but testified she packed them inadvertently in her haste to make her flight and had no criminal intent. Her defense team presented written statements saying she had been prescribed cannabis to treat chronic pain.". . .

Brittney Griner's National Anthem Stance Mocked – PJ Media   . . ."One might now ask what kind of a “stand” was Griner wanting to take? More importantly, what kind of “stand” should we take regarding a pro athlete who enjoyed her oppression in America so much that she became fabulously wealthy and had the freedom to marry a female spouse — something that she might be arrested for in Russia?

"Brittney Griner wants the American people to stand behind her and demand that Joe Biden exchange her for a convicted terrorist responsible for murdering American servicemen and women. Arms dealer Viktor Bout is the worst of the worst and a man, if set free, who would almost certainly go back to murdering innocent people.

"Should we back her even though she insults and disrespects the anthem that unites us regardless of color, creed, or politics?"

Governor Ron DeSantis Endorses Senate Candidate Joe O’Dea, Who Vows to Campaign Against Donald Trump

The Conservative Treehouse  "A week ago, Colorado senate republican candidate Joe O’Dea said on CNN, “I don’t think Donald Trump should run again.” He quickly added, ” I’m going to actively campaign against Donald Trump and make sure that we have got four or five really great Republicans right now; Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley and Tim Scott.”

"President Trump blasted O’Dea the following day {link}."

"Keep in mind, Ron DeSantis is a governor who campaigns on his success as a governor and has been rallying exclusively for governor candidates.  However, despite not endorsing the republican candidate in the Colorado state race (Heidi Ganahl), Governor DeSantis went out of his way to support the only explicitly anti-Trump Senate candidate in 2022, Joe O’Dea.

"When Paul Ryan endorsed Ron DeSantis, you could argue that DeSantis never asked for it.  When Jeb Bush endorsed DeSantis, again you could argue that DeSantis never asked for it. However, the transparency of DeSantis endorsing O’Dea who has stated his intent to actively campaign against any MAGA candidate… well, you can’t say that had nothing to do with DeSantis.". . .

. . ."The DeSantis 2024 organizers are a mixture of allied republican establishment figures, corporate party donors and former Ted Cruz base supporters (Never Trumpers) who have united in common cause to stop the MAGA working-class coalition from taking full control of the republican party.  An endorsement for DeSantis from Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger is increasingly likely as soon as the midterm election is over.

. . ."Ron DeSantis is increasingly being exposed by his own actions/inactions and the actions of others.

"Let us not pretend any longer.". . .

Here's a second opinion: People inside the Saudi government said Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was unimpressed with Biden and favored former President Trump  "Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom’s 37-year-old ruler, has reportedly mocked President Biden in private while questioning his mental state, a move that could fracture U.S.-Saudi relations at a time when the partnership is being tested following a move by OPEC+ to cut oil production and harsh criticism of the regime by American lawmakers.

"The Wall Street Journal reported that several people inside the Saudi government said the prince preferred former President Trump and has seemed unimpressed with Biden since his days as vice president while also making fun of his gaffes.". . .
