UPDATED: Former Special Forces Member Rips Biden Over Terror Attack, Hopes America Can Survive Until Trump Arrives

UPDATE: FBI No Longer Believes Other Suspects Involved In New Orleans Terror Attack   "The update contradicts prior statements where authorities said they did not believe Jabbar acted alone."

Rusty Weiss; RedState
"Whoever on the Democrat side thought it was okay to have that dementia-addled, barely-animated carcass behind the most important desk in the entire world owes all of us a big apology," Hanson demanded.

"A former member of the U.S. Army Special Forces heavily criticized our current "MIA" President Joe Biden over the Bourbon Street terror attack in New Orleans and openly wondered if America can survive until President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

"Jim Hanson, the Chief Editor for the Middle East Forum, spoke with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, who was filling in on the first episode of "Jesse Watters Primetime" for 2025.

"McEnany introduced imagery of a SWAT team outside the home of suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar, noting that authorities were quite cautious in their approach due to concerns about possible IEDs having being wired inside.

"Hanson explained that they are right to be apprehensive, not knowing if other co-conspirators exist, claiming that the attack in Louisiana combined with the Cybertruck attack in Las Vegas appears to be "an organized cell looking to create chaos in multiple locations."

" 'That shows the dismal failure of the Biden Administration. Joe Biden has been MIA since the day of his inauguration," Hanson seethed.

"From there, he grew more furious with his commentary." . . .

Hundreds March for ‘Intifada’ in NYC Hours After Attacks in New Orleans, Las Vegas

An aspiring nurse, a football star, a single mother and a father of 2 killed in New Orleans attack    "NEW ORLEANS (AP) — An 18-year-old girl dreaming of becoming a nurse, a single mother, a father of two and a former Princeton football star suffered fatal injuries when the driver of a white pickup truck sped down Bourbon Street, packed with holiday revelers early Wednesday morning.

"Officials have not yet released the names of the 15 people killed in the New Orleans New Year’s Day truck attack, but their families and friends have started sharing their stories. New Orleans Coroner Dr. Dwight McKenna said in a statement late Wednesday that they will release the names of the dead once autopsies are complete and they’ve talked with the next of kin. About 30 people were injured." . . .

The Terrorist Who Attacked New Orleans Was Recently Radicalized and Went Insane in His Final Months

 Matt Vespa

The Gateway Pundit

"The FBI Houston office stated a developing situation in the area. As it turns out, they were cordoning off the trailer home of the New Orleans attacker, Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, who killed 15 people on New Year’s Day. He drove a Ford truck through a crowded area on Bourbon Street and opened fire on innocent bystanders before being taken down by police. He had an ISIS flag hanging on his vehicle, and reports show that he was recently radicalized.

"It’s not complicated: A man inspired by ISIS (a terrorist organization) + intentionally killing people in a crowded event with IEDs in his truck = a terrorist attack. Scratch that–Jabbar pledged allegiance to ISIS. Have things become that bad at the FBI? Of course. They’re always behind. The media was at Shamsud Din Jabbar’s trailer home in Texas hours before the FBI even showed up, which was around 1 PM local time yesterday. The New York Post and The New York Times likely know more about this man than the bureau, which shouldn’t shock anyone, as this agency has become degraded at every level.

"What a way to ring in the New Year, and I don’t mean that in a comical way. It was a total nightmare, where bombings and acts of terrorism are capping off the final weeks of Joe Biden’s America, which he’s left crime-ridden and poor. On New Year’s Day, Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, an Army veteran, rammed through people on Bourbon Street and then proceeded to open fire on other pedestrians who were still out celebrating. Fifteen people were killed, with at least another 30 wounded. Police gunned him down. The man had pledged allegiance to ISIS." . . .

A Cybertruck bomb in front of Trump Tower in Las Vegas?  Maybe it was some kind of accident, and the whole location was just a coincidence. But it's not hard to think that the idea was to send a message to both Donald Trump, who owns the tower, and to his political ally, Elon Musk, who owns Tesla.

. . ."In Las Vegas, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside of the Trump Hotel. The driver was killed, and several others were injured. Blessedly, it wasn’t a mass casualty event. The only person who died was the bomber, who rigged the vehicle with firework mortars and gasoline cans. It was an intentional event. And yet, our FBI doesn’t know what to think, do, or say. They said Nola wasn’t an act of terrorism.

Joe Biden's final insult: Letting 9/11 terrorist mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed off with a plea deal

"News of the plea deal elicited swift political reaction. On August 2, 2024, Republican U.S. Representative Mike Lawler of New York introduced the “Justice for 9/11 Act” to prevent the Biden administration from offering plea deals to KSM and his associates. The legislation also seeks to keep the men at Guantanamo Bay in solitary confinement and eliminate any option of extradition.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed | Counter Extremism Project   . . ."On July 31, 2024, the military commission at Guantanamo Bay announced that Brigadier General Susan Escallier, the now-retired official appointed to oversee the war court, approved plea deals with KSM and his co-defendants. The pretrial deal stipulated that defendants would serve life sentences at most. Family members of some of the victims rejected the deal as they sought full trials and possible death penalties for the defendants. On August 2, 2024, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin overrode the plea agreement after claiming he had the authority to either accept or reject plea agreements.

" A previous Department of Defense statement on July 11, 2024, noted that pre-trial proceedings were scheduled for September 16, 2024, through October 18, 2024. The effect of Austin’s ruling on the timeline remained unclear as of mid-August 2024.". . .

The blood, toil and sacrifice of thousand of Americans in his post-terror years has been reduced to nearly nothing.

. . ."It also points to Biden's likely pressure to get the matter resolved before he left office, as the Post noted. In reality, there should have been no plea deal. JAG advocates like Escallier shouldn't have had any authority to rule out the death penalty like it was some petty mugging murder case, all by herself with her woke cronies."

 NY Post

"At best, this is Biden & Co. bungling literally the most important military prosecution in American history. Even on the way out, Joe can’t help staining the office he served in and hurting the country he pretends to love."

"The Biden administration’s toxic legacy continues to do grave harm to Americans and the national interest; the latest outrage is the renewed likelihood that the 9/11 masterminds will avoid the death penalty

"On Monday, an appeals court tossed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s move to quash plea deals offered to Khalid Sheik Mohammed and co-conspirators Walid bin Attash and Mustafa al-Hawsawi.

"Those deals were signed in July by senior defense official and retired Brig. Gen. Susan Escallier, an Austin appointee to the Office of Military Commissions." . . .Post Editorial Board

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed confessed to the beheading of American journalist Daniel Pearl and a central role in 30 other attacks and plots in the U.S. and worldwide that killed thousands of victims, . . ."I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan," Mohammed is quoted as saying in a transcript of a military hearing at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, released by the Pentagon.

" 'For those who would like to confirm, there are pictures of me on the Internet holding his head," he added." . . .

No photo found showed the Sheikh holding Pearl's head so we had to substitute Kathy Griffin's fantasy photo in it's place.

Eyes Wide Shut: Biden's mental state

"But politicians are always going to lie. The mainstream press is the villain of the story. . . ."

"The disintegration of the attempted coverup of President Biden’s senility must be the biggest American news story of 2024. President Trump highlighted the contribution of prominent Democrats to the coverup in the video compilation below. Who are your favorite contributors? Attorney General Merrick Garland is probably mine. Thanks to the reviled Mitch McConnell, Garland does not hold a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen runs a close second. General Milley is beyond category. What a crew." . . .

. . ."But politicians are always going to lie. The mainstream press is the villain of the story. Every one of the outlets and reporters who kept eyes wide shut should be shamed into oblivion, as the New York Post opines in its new-year’s editorial “Journos who joined gaslighting on Biden’s decline should never live it down.”

Former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn blasts FBI for initially denying terror link

"Former national security adviser Michael Flynn blasted the FBI for initially denying the New Orleans attack’s link to terrorism early Wednesday, blaming the agency’s “woke culture” for the denial.

“OF COURSE IT WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK! The person that attacked was terrorizing people for Christ sake,” Flynn, who worked under the first Trump administration, wrote in a post to X. “I swear to God, shut the FBI down.

"Their woke culture from top to bottom is truly unacceptable any longer. Like a dead fish, they’re rotted from the head down. They truly believe the American people whom they’re suppose to serve are fools. Just stop with this nonsense," he added.

"The ex-Army lieutenant general went on to laud President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for FBI director, Kash Patel, but said he should consider shutting down the agency altogether.

" '@Kash_Patel you’re the right person to lead this organization but you have your work cut out for you. Seriously considering closing the bureau’s doors as one of your options,” he wrote." . . .

New Year's reveler witnessed 'twisted, horribly disfigured' bodies strewn on sidewalk: 'Dead right in front of us'

"Dead right in front of us was someone's mother, twisted, obviously deceased,” he said

"One man, deceased, had tire tracks across his back and when someone turned him over he had tire tracks across his stomach and was clearly crushed.”

"A little girl that we had seen dancing as we were walking up the street was as flat as a pillow,” he continued.

"It just kept going. Every eye shot -- body, body, body, body. It was unbelievable.

Vehicle Used in New Orleans Terror Attack Crossed the Border Two Days Ago. Trump Responds.    . . ."President-elect Donald Trump weighed in on Truth Social after the latest news about the vehicle broke.

"When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true," he said. "The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before. Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department. The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!"

According to police the man killed at least ten people and injured more than two dozen, then fired a weapon from the vehicle intent on killing more. Debrina Kawam, 57, identified as woman burned to death 'by migrant' on NYC subway as NYPD shares horrifying new detail

UK Daily Mail

Torres said in response: 'On the same day the murder victim of the subway fire, Debrina Kawam (61) was finally identified, Governor Hochul feels the need to take a victory lap. ''Mission accomplished' is the ultimate form of gaslighting.'

"The woman who was set on fire and burned to death on a New York City subway car has been identified as Debrina Kawam of New Jersey

"Shocking footage stunned the Big Apple as Kawam, 57, was seen engulfed in flames in horror scenes on the train near Coney Island on December 22.

"She was allegedly set on fire by illegal immigrant Sebastian Zepeta, who cops say used a lighter before fanning the flames with his shirt.

"Zepeta, 33, is facing murder and arson charges following the horror incident.

"Officials used fingerprint data, dental records and DNA evidence to identify Kawam, and said she was believed to have been homeless. She was originally from Tom's River, New Jersey.

"Kawam was reportedly sleeping on the subway car around 7:30am at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station in Brooklyn when she was set ablaze.

"The footage of the moments after Kawam was set on fire went viral as it showed an NYPD officer walking past the fire while a man, allegedly Zepeta, watched on. " . . .

Michael Goodwin: All of Team Joe aided in the Big Lie — now the world knows the truth of the Biden crime family

 Michael Goodwin; NY Post
. .  ."Antony Blinken, now Biden’s secretary of state, who helped organize the dishonest 2020 letter from the 51 former intelligence officials who said the laptop smelled of Russian disinformation, also had to know the truth about the Biden family business.  He was deputy national security adviser in 2013." . . .

"Ever since The Post broke the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop in October of 2020, it’s been obvious that Joe Biden was involved in his son’s influence peddling schemes.

"The president’s serial denials were as credible as Bill Clinton’s claim that “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”

"Biden’s most ridiculous lie was that he never even discussed Hunter’s foreign business with him.

"Laptop messages and photos showing Joe meeting with some of Hunter’s skeezy clients proved otherwise.

"Revelations that the son got millions from Ukraine energy company Burisma, despite knowing nothing about energy or Ukraine, destroyed the fiction that this was a merit-based business.

"So did crucial public statements by Tony Bobulinski, a former Hunter Biden partner who bravely authenticated many of the emails and identified Joe as the “big guy” slated for a 10% cut in a Chinese deal." . . .

Arrest the Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland?

The American Spectator  A decidedly anti-semitic Polish threat to arrest Israel’s Netanyahu.

"It may be a full 79 years since the end of World War II.

But leave it to the deputy foreign minister of Poland, Władysław Bartoszewski by name, to remind us of the virulent anti-semitism that both brought on the war and resulted in the infamous mass murder of some six million Jews.

"Here’s a current headline, this one from the Jerusalem Post: “Netanyahu will be arrested if he comes to Auschwitz memorial, Polish government confirms.”

"The story reports:

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Wladyslaw Bartoszewski said that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comes to Poland, he will be arrested in accordance with the country’s commitment to the International Criminal Court (ICC).Bartoszewski’s comments came in a Friday conversation with the Polish economic and legal newspaper Rzeczpospolita regarding the preparations for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, which is set to take place this January 27.Netanyahu was charged in November, along with former defense minister Yoav Gallant, for a series of crimes by the ICC. States that signed the Rome Statute are legally required to comply with ICC arrest warrants.

"Recall. Again.

"Jan. 27, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz. And for those who came in late and drew a blank, here’s an excerpt from Wikipedia:

The camp at Auschwitz was established in April 1940, at first as a quarantine camp for Polish political prisoners. On 22 June 1941, in an attempt to obtain new territory, Hitler invaded the Soviet Union. The first gassing at Auschwitz — of a group of Soviet prisoners of war — took place around August 1941. By the end of that year, during what most historians regard as the first phase of the Holocaust, 500,000–800,000 Soviet Jews had been murdered in mass shootings by a combination of German-Einsatzgruppen, ordinary German soldiers, and local collaborators. At the Wannsee Conference in Berlin on 20 January 1942, Reinhard Heydrich outlined the Final Solution to the Jewish Question to senior Nazis, and from early 1942 freight trains delivered Jews from all over occupied Europe to German extermination camps in Poland: Auschwitz, BełżecCheÅ‚mnoMajdanekSobibór, and Treblinka. Most prisoners were gassed on arrival.

Vindictive Joe, his legacy

Hurry, please hurry!

. . ."President Trump and his staff hope that many of these Biden-driven spiteful actions and the resulting long-term challenges to the Trump agenda, can be limited by a law passed in 1996 called the Congressional Review Act. This legislation was passed to prevent outgoing administrations from cleaning out the fiscal cupboard with the sole intent of leaving the incoming administration without important resources needed to operate government effectively and efficiently. Such spitefulness is entirely emblematic of Biden’s mercifully short tenure as President."

Angry and slurring Biden shows he is unfit for a second term   "With a furrowed brow, a harsh tone, and an overall angry demeanor, President Joe Biden‘s final State of the Union speech before Election Day was an exhibition of his unfitness for office.

"Instead of striking a conciliatory tone and attempting to heal the nation’s deep divisions, Biden used his State of the Union speech to showcase his anger and bitter attitude toward his political opponents, namely former President Donald Trump." . . .

. . ."And his administration has been one of hatred and persecution. Under Biden’s administration, pro-life activists are sent to prison for praying and singing, and parents worried about their child’s school are investigated by the FBI, as are Catholics who prefer to go to Mass in Latin.

"Biden has been a danger to the nation since he took office in January 2021. On Thursday, a bitter, angry, and senile divider in chief proved his unfitness for office yet again. And in November, voters will finally be able to send him back to Delaware and permanent retirement."

Soldier KIA in Gaza, bringing IDF wartime toll to 824

Jewish News Service
The death toll among Israeli troops since the start of the Gaza ground incursion on Oct. 27, 2023, stands at 392, and at 824 on all fronts since the Hamas-led massacre on Oct. 7, 2023.

"An Israel Defense Forces soldier was killed battling Palestinian terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip, the military announced on Sunday.

"The slain man was named as Staff Sgt. Yuval Shoham, 22, of the 401st Armored Brigade’s 9th Battalion, from Jerusalem.

"On Monday morning, following an inquiry into the incident, the IDF said that he died due to an “operational accident in a tank.”

"Shoham’s parents learned of his death while on a Chanukah trip in southern Israel. They were planning to deliver a package to him when they were notified by military officers at his base.

"Shoham’s brother Shachar told Ynet that Yuval knew 23-year-old Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was kidnapped on Oct. 7, 2023 into the Gaza Strip and was later murdered by Hamas.

“ 'Bringing back the hostages was a very dear issue to him,” Shachar was quoted as saying. “I heard that he would traverse the Gaza Strip and call out: ‘Hersh’.”

"Goldberg-Polin’s parents, John and Rachel, were close friends of Yuval Shoham’s parents, Effi and Oshrat, Shachar said." . . .

Hamas is refusing to release 12 live hostages, offering bodies instead.

Jimmy Carter Was the True Change Agent of the Cold War

There’s a reason the 39th president is still revered by former Soviet dissidents.  Foreign Policy Magazine

“I wish I had sent one more helicopter to get the hostages, and we would’ve rescued them, and I would’ve been reelected,” Carter told reporters at the Carter Center in Atlanta.

Carter with his top two foreign-policy advisors, Secretary of State
Cyrus Vance (left) and National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski

"The morning after U.S. presidential candidate Ronald Reagan crushed incumbent President Jimmy Carter with a 44-state landslide in 1980, the New York Times reported that demand for a “tougher American foreign policy” was a big part of the outcome. By almost a 2-1 ratio, voters in exit polls said, “They wanted this country to be more forceful in dealing with the Soviet Union.” Reagan seemed to do just that over the next eight years, with a policy of “peace through strength” and a relentless defense buildup. After the Soviet bloc began to disintegrate on his watch, Reagan was—and still is—mythologized as the primary victor of the Cold War.

"Meanwhile, Carter, who died Sunday at 100, is remembered as a somewhat weak leader, preaching naively about human rights, lamenting energy shortages and malaise in his singsong Georgia accent, and practically being hounded from the White House by the 444-day-long Iranian hostage crisis.

"So, it may seem strange that Carter, even more so than Reagan, is revered to this day among those who fought on the true front lines of the Cold War: the former dissidents of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. “They still see him as the messiah,” Svetlana Savranskaya, a scholar of the Soviet period at George Washington University, told me in an interview. “Their eyes shine when they talk about him.”

"Perhaps the least understood dimension of Carter’s much-maligned, one-term presidency was that he dramatically changed the nature of the Cold War, setting the stage for the Soviet Union’s ultimate collapse. Carter did this with a tough but deft  combination of soft and hard power. On one hand, he opened the door to Reagan’s delegitimization of the Soviet system by focusing on human rights; on the other hand, Carter aggressively funded new high-tech weapons that made Moscow realize it couldn’t compete with Washington, which in turn set off a panicky series of self-destructive moves under the final Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev.

"Carter thus teed up what came to be viewed, unfairly, as his successor’s sole triumph. His repeated avowals of human rights for people behind the Iron Curtain were seen by stunned Soviet leaders, at the time, as outrageous interference in internal matters. (“What kind of man is he with this ‘human rights,’” former Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko sputtered at one point. “He is always bringing up human rights, human rights, human rights. What for?”) His policy was also criticized as dangerously simplistic by U.S. policy experts who preached realpolitik and detente, among them former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former U.S. diplomat George Kennan.

"But to those behind the Iron Curtain, Carter’s words were a trumpet blast. In a personal note to the Soviet Union’s premier dissident, physicist Andrei Sakharov, in 1977, Carter wrote “human rights is the central concern of my administration.” Sakharov later took that message to then-Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Labeled an enemy of the state, Sakharov was eventually exiled to Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). But that moment began a great internal battle that would culminate, ultimately, in the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Long before Reagan’s “Evil Empire” speech, it was Carter who transformed U.S. policy from Cold War containment and detente to one of subtle confrontation—changing the world of the last century and also setting the stage for this century." . . .

However:  Ask the Venezuelans how great an ex-president Jimmy Carter was

. . ."Now Venezuelans are paying the price, in lost democracy and a ruined country, scattering to the four corners of the globe in their millions, because there's no way to vote a tyrant with a taste for election cheating out of office.

"That's not promoting democracy -- that's fostering dictators. That's disastrous for them as well as us, given that dictators in our hemisphere are costly problems in more ways than one. Had Carter wanted to wreck that place, he couldn't have done a better job. Maybe that's why there won't be too many respects paid to Carter after what he enabled. All he needed to do was tell the truth about what was happening and he didn't do it. He chose the selfies instead."
