Biden's Ghostwriters in the Sky

Major New Transparency Win: Biden Ghostwriter Audio Tapes Coming Out

"Listening to an interview isn't like reading a carefully edited book; every halting reply, every hiccup, every hesitation, every mental blank-out presumably is there and, if we are to judge by every public appearance Joe Biden has made in the last several years, painfully obvious."

. . .

A federal judge on Friday rejected former President Joe Biden’s request to block the release of audio recordings and transcripts from his conversations with biographer Mark Zwonitzer.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia denied the former president’s motion for a preliminary injunction in the Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Heritage Foundation and its employee, Mike Howell.

The materials come from former special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. The Justice Department will now turn over the redacted versions to the plaintiffs and House Judiciary Committee.

Biden administration buried whistleblower complaint alleging Fauci lied to Congress during pandemic | Just The News    "An intelligence community whistleblower formally accused Dr. Anthony Fauci of lying to Congress during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Biden administration took the unusual step of yanking the complaint from the government's independent watchdogs and referring it instead to the political appointee overseeing the Health and Human Services Department, bombshell memos released by departing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard show.

"The effort to divert the investigation of Fauci to then-HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra occurred shortly after the government's top pandemic doctor engaged in a discussion with the CIA about evidence that workers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China had been sickened in fall 2019, potentially explosive evidence that the virus emerged from a lab leak at the very facility where Fauci's office was funding dangerous research on bat viruses, the memos show." . . .

President Trump Notes Opposition Effort to Destroy DC Reflection Pool

 The Last Refuge

Reader Comment: “'Will ‘democrats’ really make heroes out of vandals (criminals)?” Well heck yeah, it’s never stopped them before! Remember a punk named George Floyd?"

"Team Algae and Filth has been busy at work, supported by CNN, ABC and various leftist media, in an attempt to grow algae back in the DC reflection pool, and cut out the newly installed lining.  A few arrests have been made by DC park police.

"Yes, these folks are that unstable.  Liberalism is a mental disorder.

"President Trump responds to the effort via Truth Social:

“We’ve cleaned, renovated, and beautified over 45 Monuments and Memorials, 28 Statues, and 22 Fountains in Washington, D.C. Things are really looking good in our Nation’s Capital, and add to that the fact that when I became President, Crime was rampant, and now, Washington, D.C., is one of the Safest Cities anywhere in the United States. However, we’ve had some real problems with Vandalism at the beautiful Reflecting Pool, which sits between The Washington Monument and The Lincoln Memorial.

Just like three days ago, they destroyed the grass outside of the Pool, they’ve also done everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed. No different than the chemicals that were used on the National Mall, they used something similar in the Reflecting Pool to try to destroy and demean our beautiful work. Lightweight ABC Reporter, Jonathan Karl, was seen sticking his hand into the Pool, and trying to rip the rubber off of the surface. The algae is 75% gone, and the condition will soon be completely remedied, and the area that was vandalized, fortunately, is just a small area of damage, and will be fixed early next week. It’s a shame that the Radical Left Lunatics, most likely Dumocats, who have spent their lives trying to ruin our Country, are free to do so. Law Enforcement is actively investigating this situation and will hopefully have it resolved soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

DOJ's Harmeet Dhillon Throws a Curveball That Sends MLB's Bad Week Spiraling

  Sister Toldjah

"As RedState previously reported, Major League Baseball (MLB) landed itself in hot water on Monday after issuing a "warning" to three San Francisco Giants pitchers who refused to bend the knee to "Pride Night," writing Bible verses on their rainbow-themed hats during the team's Friday game against the Chicago Cubs.

"The warning stated that "the writing on the cap violates our rules, and consistent with normal practice, we have warned the players about future violations." In a follow-up statement, they claimed it had nothing to do with the Christian message. "To be clear, this routine verbal warning not to wear the hat in future games is not disciplinary and had absolutely nothing to do with the content of the message.". . .  Uh huh....

"In response, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) fired off a letter to MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, demanding answers and strongly implying that a public Senate Judiciary Committee hearing might be in order due in part to the fact that "baseball enjoys a sweeping, judicially manufactured exemption from the federal antitrust laws—a privilege the Senate Judiciary Committee has examined with bipartisan skepticism in recent years."

"In a follow-up to this story, Harmeet Dhillon, the DOJ's Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, has now entered the chat, informing Manfred and the MLB that they now face a civil rights probe, with the matter being referred to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC):

"The three players expressed their opposition to MLB's pro-Pride orthodoxy," Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said in the letter. "The Civil Rights Act prohibits MLB and its franchises from unreasonably burdening the rights of players with religious objections to serving as the League's vehicle for pro-Pride messages.

“Federal law is clear: employers must modify their uniform requirements to reasonably accommodate their employees’ exercise of religion,” Dhillon added in the letter. “The Trump administration is committed to combatting religious discrimination."

JUST IN: President Trump Says Lincoln Reflecting Pool Will be Drained to Make Necessary Repairs After Vandals Poured Corrosive Chemicals Into Pool

I can hear Democrats now: "We don't condone those actions, but..."

 The Gateway Pundit

Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool: Here’s the Before and After

"President Trump on Saturday said the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool will likely have to be drained to make the necessary repairs after vandals took a knife and put a 250 foot long gash into the pool and poured corrosive chemicals in the water.

"Many people have been arrested for vandalizing the reflecting pool and peeling off the paint from the bottom of the pool.

"Former Olympian David Hearn was arrested and charged with misdemeanor for destruction of property for vandalizing the Lincoln Reflecting Pool.

"According to independent journalist Emily Miller, a man was arrested after jumping into the pool on Friday and cutting out a “huge piece” of the sealant.

"Miller also filmed a man being detained by Park Police. “He grabbed the hose that female National Park Service workers were using to clear the algae,” Miller said.

"That man turned out to be cyclist and Olympian David Hearn, 67.Hearn is a three-time Olympic canoeist.

"President Trump said he met with contractors and determined that the reflecting pool will likely need to be drained to make the necessary repairs." . . .More...

Fetterman Is so Done With the Left’s Reflecting Pool Tantrum – PJ Media   "President Donald Trump’s overhaul of the long-neglected reflecting pool has become the latest target for the usual Trump-hating mob, which now seems to object to basic maintenance if the wrong man orders it. The pool had been leaking for years, suffered algae blooms, and was wasting millions of gallons of water annually."

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger Picks LGBT Activist Who Fought Girls’ Bathroom Protections for State Board Role

The Gateway Pundit

Spanberger’s campaign was a massive bait and switch. She campaigned as a moderate and then showed her true colors the minute she was sworn in as governor.

"Virginia’s Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger has chosen and LGBT activist who has fought against protections for girls’ bathrooms to sit on a state board that directly influences related policies.
"During the election, Spanberger regularly dodged questions on this issue when asked by reporters. No we know why.
"Her decision to appoint this person to this role just shows that Democrats have not changed at all. They are not budging on this issue and will go right back to where they were before the 2024 election the instant they retake power." . . .

"Virginia Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger appointed an LGBTQ activist who pushed back against efforts to bar biological males from girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms to a state advisory board that helps shape recommendations on LGBTQ-related policies.

Spanberger’s appointment of Kellen MacBeth on May 22, who previously led the LGBTQ nonprofit Equality Arlington, follows a gubernatorial campaign during which she ran as a moderate and sidestepped questions about transgender participation in women’s sports and access to female-only spaces.

MacBeth, the founder of Equality Arlington, has become one of Northern Virginia’s most visible LGBTQ advocates. Under his leadership, Equality Arlington has urged Virginia school districts to implement policies allowing transgender students to use bathrooms that align with their “gender identity” and has encouraged local governments to resist efforts to reverse those protections. The organization also advocated for preserving transgender-inclusive policies in Arlington Public Schools despite federal pressure to change them." . . .  More...

Media priorities are obvious; It's impossible to hate the media enough.

 Jack Hellner

"Look how hard the media is working to hide true information about all the communists or socialists running for office. Of course, they have been doing that for a long time. Look at how they covered up Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright, and Louis Farakkan as they campaigned for him to remake America."

"I have thought for years that the media has lost its curiosity gene and its ability, or desire, to investigate, but I have been absolutely wrong.

"When they focus and collude with other Democrats, they can do very important work for the American people. Here is a story that shows their great skill:

"After years of not giving a s*** about the condition of the Reflecting Pool, they have done endless reports about algae in the pool. They are also very concerned that Trump spent $11 million (around 33 cents per person in the U.S) cleaning it up.

"Here are some of the stories they do not report in collusion with other Democrats:

"No matter how much fraud is found throughout government programs, they will ignore the arrests and act like they are minor. They fought tooth and nail against DOGE and reported negatively on DOGE revelations.

"They did not report how corrupt USAID was and how much money has been funneled to leftist organizations in the government.

"They refuse to report how Biden and Obama used the Justice Department and IRS to target political opponents, including endless investigations into Trump. They act like that never happened." . . .   More...

Did Trump Snooker Iran?

"Trump may have given Iran everything it wanted on paper—but the real question is whether Tehran fell for a deal that gives America the leverage to walk away."

Ken Timmerman › American Greatness

. . . "They can point to all the goodies they believe they are entitled to in the 14-point MoU, but until Trump declares that they have fulfilled their commitments, they won’t be getting them. Not a one." . . .

Or until Democrats take over the House.

"To evaluate the Iran Memorandum of Understanding on its merits, beyond the hype, let’s start by separating what we know from what we don’t.

"Iran’s military has been destroyed. It has no air force, no navy, and no air defenses.

"We have obliterated Iran’s uranium enrichment plants, its uranium mills, and its uranium hexafluoride conversion facility, as well as the secret bomb-making workshops in Parchin that Iran would never allow the IAEA to inspect.

"We have destroyed most of Iran’s ability to manufacture drones and ballistic missiles.

"We have shattered the Iranian economy.

"We have pitted the regime against itself, as seen in recent demonstrations organized by hard-liners against the MoU.

"We have also demonstrated that America has a new “special relationship”—with Israel, not Britain. We have gone to war with the IDF, flying thousands of joint air missions without a single mishap, something we could arguably not do today with our NATO allies.

"These are facts, and they are major accomplishments of a military campaign that no previous American president has been willing to attempt.

"But we did not defeat the Iranian regime. That, too, is a fact—one the regime reminds the U.S. of every day.

"Not only do they appear to be undeterred, but they enjoy taunting us, threatening to “bloody” our noses, and deliver a “harsh blow” should we not keep up our commitments under the MoU.

"But just what are the U.S. commitments?

"The 14-point MoU reads like a wish list crafted in Tehran. And I suspect that is exactly what it is. (More on that below).

"Over the past several weeks, I have watched with disbelief as pro-regime media in Tehran released this or that version of the accord, including what appeared to be U.S. commitments to establish a $300 billion reconstruction fund and to withdraw all U.S. military forces from the region.

"Astonishingly, those measures do indeed figure in the 14-point MoU. Paragraph 6 says that the United States “undertakes with regional partners to develop a definitive, mutually agreed plan with at least USD 300 billion for the reconstruction and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” . . .  More...

Trump walks Iran into a trap

Trump made a big deal out of signing the MOU publicly. Cameras, people standing around, a worldwide press event of the signing. But Trump knew, and still knows full well, that the Iranians have no intention of adhering to the memo or to any future deal. They will cheat. And when they do, Trump will be able to say, “The U.S. signed the MOU in good faith. The Iranians signed it, too. Now, world, you can see clearly that Iran alone on the world stage cannot be trusted to adhere to any agreement.” (China and Russia are another story for another time.)

Comments: "As a 71 year old guy watching from Scotland UK, I find the ignorance and willing acceptance of misinformation by young people in America very shocking indeed. I am old enough to know the history and truth of the Middle east problem, I understand it all in great detail. Young people today think its cool to put on a Palestine scarf and to allow themselves to join just any old demonstration without knowing the true facts, if you young people refuse to really learn history, then you will support Hamas like the fools you are!"

The Reflecting Pool : The Insane Obsession With Sabotaging the D.C. Reflecting Pool Results in an Arrest

UPDATE: The Insane Obsession With Sabotaging the D.C. Reflecting Pool Results in an Arrest

. . . "Deranged lefts are literally VANDALIZING the pool just to “get Trump” INSANE to think this is where we are as a country." Nick Sortor

Media Reveals How Twisted They Are With Latest Story About Reflecting Pool

"This obviously senior man has the nerve to be surprised that they arrested him. One commenter alleged he is riding a $15,000 dollar bike. At this man's age and station in life, to be able to afford such an expensive cycling instrument, he really should have known better.

"Mess Around, Meet Reality. If this man and others actually got out of D.C. and into nature, connected with loved ones, and found a healthy obsession like bird watching, they would be better off. Trump living rent-free in your head and affecting your actions is no way to live a life. " . . .

Media Reflecting Pool Nonsense Gets Punctured by Panelist's Reminder on What Obama Did  . . . ""I know when President Obama invested, he invested, he did it with science in mind, so there was not an algae takeover," Cross said. She said it was "treated."

"Except there was an algae takeover, as Jennings then pointed out in the post above. He shared a news report from 2012, showing the significant algae bloom there less than a month later, shortly after the Obama administration's work was done.

"But, I guess under Obama, spending is "investment." And so much for "science." As Jennings pointed out, Obama didn't figure out a cure for algae. Jennings had an amusing comment on that." . . .

 Issues & Insights

"So, we continue to assert that, no matter how boggy it is, the Reflecting Pool reflects TDS with perfect clarity."

"A reader chastised us for an editorial we’d written a couple of weeks ago about the left’s unhinged reaction to the Reflecting Pool work that President Donald Trump had authorized.

“This article aged like milk,” the reader commented. “Paint is already peeling off and floating to the top. The real question is who got the $14MM and why was it a no-bid contract? Those are illegal.”

"Let’s back up a bit. Before the work on the Reflecting Pool was finished — part of Trump’s effort to clean up the city’s monuments before the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration — critics were pulling their hair out, saying that it would ruin the aesthetic by making it look like a swimming pool.

“'Was the freakout worth it?” we asked. (See: “Now We Know: The Reflecting Pool Reflects TDS.)

"In the days since that editorial ran, problems have emerged with the renovated pool, including the reemergence of algae and the (supposed) peeling of the blue-tinted material applied to the bottom that was meant to seal leaks.

So, has the editorial “aged like milk”? Not if you read it. The point is as valid today as it was then. The freakout was entirely unfounded.

At the time, we had no reason to believe that the work had been done in a shoddy manner. (We’re still not entirely sure that the “peeling paint” story is even true, given the untrustworthiness of the hysterically anti-Trump mainstream reporting these days and the willingness of Trump haters to sabotage things.)" . . .  More..

Biden Dazed and Confused at the Obama Presidential Center

Looking visibly confused, Biden removes his Ray-Bans and squints into the crowd. . . .  in a weak, faltering voice, asks, “Where’s my granddaughter?”
Setting aside the human decency angle, putting the visibly ailing former president on public display is politically self-destructive. Every appearance serves as a reminder of what many Americans view as one of the biggest scandals in modern political history: the effort to convince the public that Biden was fit to serve as commander in chief and, worse, that he was capable of serving a second term.

"Former President Joe Biden traveled to Chicago for the debut of former President Barack Obama’s Presidential Center on Thursday. Two years past the disastrous debate, which ended his bid for reelection, he appeared frail and disoriented.

In the clip below, Obama is seen leaving the stage at the end of the dedication ceremony. Jill Biden, having left her husband standing alone beside the podium, exits right behind him. Looking visibly confused, Biden removes his Ray-Bans and squints into the crowd. He then raises a hand as if recognizing someone and, in a weak, faltering voice, asks, “Where’s my granddaughter?”

With his hands held in T-Rex pose, he then shuffles toward the exit.

It was a sad scene. But it was also a frightening one. This is the man Democrats wanted Americans to believe was fit for four more years in the Oval Office. Had fate not intervened — and had Jill Biden and those around him succeeded in their efforts — this visibly frail and diminished man could now be a year and a half into a second term as president of the United States." . . .

Dems Destroy Reflecting Pool In Protest Of Trump

Doc Rich

@uhyeah9243:  We used to build pools. That does not happen in 1 week. I smell Dems."

“CNN’s idea of journalism: write a sensational headline, let people rage-share it, then admit 3 paragraphs later it’s just residual algae from dormant supply lines and a normal startup process.”

. . . "Leave it to CNN’s intrepid reporters to spare no effort in pursuit of answers. What they ultimately uncovered, however, was not a major scandal or systemic failure, but a routine algae bloom — the sort of maintenance issue familiar to countless pool owners. Yet because the issue occurred in a high-profile Trump administration project, it was treated as though it were a matter of national consequence.

The result was an investigation that seemed wildly disproportionate to the subject matter. Rather than exposing wrongdoing or uncovering a significant public-interest story, the network devoted substantial journalistic resources to explaining why algae appeared in a recently refilled pool. The exercise ultimately said more about CNN’s editorial priorities than it did about the reflecting pool itself.

Which raises an obvious question: If the network can marshal this level of effort and manpower to investigate a routine algae problem, why doesn’t it devote the same energy to uncovering the fraud, waste, and corruption that affect millions of Americans and cost taxpayers billions of dollars each year?" . .  .

President Trump Has Major Update On Cause Of Reflecting Pool Damage: ‘Radical Left Lunatics’ l   . . . “Just like three days ago, they destroyed the grass outside of the Pool, they’ve also done everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed,” Trump wrote in the post. “No different than the chemicals that were used on the National Mall, they used something similar in the Reflecting Pool to try to destroy and demean our beautiful work.”

Trump said law enforcement is “actively investigating” the vandalism.

This renovation project is part of the president’s beautification efforts in Washington, D.C. — an initiative headed by the Interior Department (DOI).

“We’ve cleaned, renovated, and beautified over 45 Monuments and Memorials, 28 Statues, and 22 Fountains in Washington, D.C.,” Trump wrote in the post, adding that “things are looking really good” in the capital city since his initiative began. " . . .

NH’s ‘Trailblazing’ First Transgender Lawmaker Sentenced to 33 Years for Child Sex Crimes

 Legal Insurrection

Laughton “pleaded guilty to goading [his] former partner into taking sexually explicit photos of children” and spoke “extensively” in text messages in the spring of 2023 about “potential or fantasized sexual contact with kids.”

"Once hailed as a “pioneer,” former New Hampshire state representative Stacie Marie Laughton, 41, of Nashua, a biological male who identifies as a woman, was sentenced to 33 years in prison on Thursday for the sexual exploitation of children at a Massachusetts daycare.

"But this story did not begin with the daycare investigation. Laughton’s criminal record and political career reveal a pattern of misconduct that was repeatedly ignored as liberal activists and media figures rushed to embrace the nation’s first openly transgender elected official.

"His first electoral victory came in 2012, when he won a seat in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The win was widely celebrated as historic: he was not only New Hampshire’s first openly transgender lawmaker, but also the first openly transgender person elected to any state legislature in the United States.

"However, within days of Laughton’s victory, reports of prior felony fraud convictions emerged, and he resigned as representative-elect. At the time, New Hampshire Public Radio reported:

The decision was prompted by a state law forbidding felons from holding public office until the felon is discharged.

In 2008, Laughton was sentenced for conspiring to commit credit card fraud, and falsifying evidence. After four months, [his] sentence was suspended pending ten years of good behavior, the Laconia Daily Sun reports.
