Obama to preview anti-poverty proposals  "President Obama will look to promote economic proposals designed to alleviate blight in some of the nation’s poorest communities at an event Thursday at the White House, according to a source familiar with the event."

Signs and Wonders: Even the best intentions can’t end poverty  "...  India—a country with 1.2 billion people, one-sixth of the world’s population—had officially moved from the list of “poor” nations to the list of “middle income” nations. Alan Caruba: Obama's 2014 Big Lie: Income Inequality   ... "His objective is to further divide Americans by promising what government cannot and should not deliver. This is now the Democratic Party theme leading up to the midterm elections in November. He is right about one thing, only economic growth can provide the opportunity for Americans to increase their personal incomes, provide a choice of investments, and save more for the future. In his first five years in office, economic growth has been historically slow."
