Hamas in Its Own Words

 ADL

"Hamas sees the territory of Israel as exclusive to all the world’s Muslims (not just Palestinians), forbids a Jewish state on “any part” of the land and promotes the idea that it is the “duty for every Muslim” to reverse Israel’s existence: . . ."

"On October 7, Hamas attacked Israel, slaughtering around 1,200 men, women, children, and infants in the largest and most brutal massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Hamas terrorists intentionally recorded their murder, rape, and torture of civilians, including around 200 foreign nationals, and took at least 240 hostages back with them to Gaza.

The physical attack was followed by a propaganda and disinformation campaign. Knowing that Israel would have no choice but to respond to the October 7 massacre, Hamas retreated into its network of tunnels beneath the homes, schools, and hospitals of Gaza, using Palestinian civilians as human shields in order to weaponize the resulting civilian casualties

This left Israel with two options – either do nothing in response to the murder and kidnapping of its citizens by invading Hamas terrorists, thereby inviting more attacks, or act against Hamas as it hid behind and under its own citizens. As Hamas leaders themselves admit, Hamas sees either path as a strategic win for its campaign of terror and incitement against Israel, with the ultimate goal of Israel’s eradication. While there can be legitimate criticism of specific Israeli policies and actions during its war with Hamas, it is paramount to remember this worldview of Hamas.

Since its founding in the late 1980s, Hamas has been promoting rhetoric and policies aimed at destroying the Jewish state of Israel and killing Jews and Israelis around the world. This is evident in their founding charter, which cites the infamous Protocols of the Elders of Zion forgery as “proof” of a Zionist plot to control the world. It remains true after Hamas released a new charter in 2017, which essentially simply swapped the word “Jew” out and replaced it with “Zionist” while repeating antisemitic tropes.

The following are examples of hateful rhetoric by Hamas leaders and officials, as well as language from their charter:

Hamas Leaders and Officials:

Statements by Hamas officials make clear the terrorist organization’s commitment to destroying Israel and killing Jews and Israelis around the world.

  • Ismail Haniyeh in 2020: He explained that Hamas rejects ceasefire agreements by which, “Gaza would become Singapore,” preferring to remain at war with Israel until a Palestinian state is established from the River to the Sea: “We cannot, in exchange for money or projects, give up Palestine and our weapons. We will not give up the resistance... We will not recognize Israel, Palestine must stretch from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.”
  • Hamas official, Hamad Al-Regeb in an April 2023 sermon: He prayed for “annihilation” and “paralysis” of the Jews whom he described as filthy animals: “[Allah] transformed them into filthy, ugly animals like apes and pigs because of the injustice and evil they had brought about.” Al-Regeb also prayed for the ability to “get to the necks of the Jews.”
  • Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Saleh Al-Arouri in an August 2023 interview:  He expressed Hamas’ desire for “total war” with Israel: “Therefore, we are convinced that if a total conflict begins, the airspace and seaports of this entity will be shut down, and they will not be able to live without electricity, water, and communications.” . . .  Entire article here.

Surprise! Hamas Has Already Doomed Peace

 The American Spectator

. . . "Now that Israel has gotten back all of the living hostages, it is freer to respond to any present and future breaches by Hamas and company."

"Only a couple of days after the announcement of President Trump’s brokered ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, Hamas has indicated that it will forever poison any chance of a durable peace. Surprise, surprise.

"First, Hamas is already in violation of phase one of the deal, in which Hamas was to release ALL living and deceased hostages by the end of the day on Monday. While Hamas did release the 20 living hostages in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, which included some 250 convicted terrorists, Hamas has yet to return all 28 of the deceased hostages, including two Americans.

"As of this writing, Hamas has released the bodies of four hostages. Following Israel’s announcement that it viewed this as a breach of the agreement and will keep the Rafah border crossing closed as a response, Hamas announced that it will release an additional four bodies of the hostages. Assuming Hamas fulfils its promise, this still leaves 20 deceased hostages who are now past due. Second, there have been multiple violations of the “yellow line,” the line to which Israel has withdrawn in phase one of the deal. The IDF has maintained that “After multiple attempts to distance them, the suspects refused to comply, prompting troops to open fire to remove the threat.” (RELATED: To Bring Hostages Home, Israel Pays Very Steep Price)

"Third, Hamas has pledged continued jihad against Israel. Khalil al-Hayya, a Hamas leader and part of the terrorist group’s Cairo delegation, stated this week that “The countdown to the next massacre has begun. Next time, we will slaughter all Jews.”

"Additionally, merely a day after President Trump announced that a ceasefire had been reached, members of Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) have already announced that they will continue to fight. In a joint statement, the groups emphasized “our determination to continue with the resistance in all its forms until our rights are achieved — first and foremost the removal of the occupation, self determination, and the establishment of an independent state with full sovereignty with Jerusalem as its capital” [author’s emphasis].

"Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qassem stated recently that the terror group will not disarm, exclaiming that “We will not be captives to Israeli terms or demands. This is one of the focal points of the struggle in the next stage, after the cessation of aggression in the Gaza Strip.” ...More..

Never Again: Exchanging Vicious Terrorists For Innocent Hostages

. . . "Asked if he felt joy at the hostages being released, Ben-Artzi said:

There is always joy. I rejoiced when the three soldiers were freed in the Jibril Deal, and I rejoiced when Gilad Shalit returned. But at the time, even back then and even more so today, I knew that with our own hands we were signing the next kidnapping, the next massacre, and the next murders.

Have you heard the news that Hamas has emerged from the tunnels and gone on a murder spree since the ceasefire took effect?

The Federalist: The Biggest Obstacle To Trump’s Israel-Hamas Peace Deal Is Jihadi Ideology  . . . "The Biden years put Iran First and imperiled the first Trump administration’s achievements — rejuvenating the mullocracy, enabling the Oct. 7 massacre, and seeking to exploit the ensuing war to reward Hamas with a Palestinian state.

"But under the second Trump administration, the world’s leading state sponsor of jihad and its myriad proxies find themselves severely hobbled if not in ruins, while our strongest regional ally, Israel, has emerged ascendant following its efforts to hammer common foes. Consequently, prospects for Abraham Accords expansion and American extrication from the region have only grown more propitious." . . .

And if Hamas, a group whose raison d’etre is murdering Jews and perpetrating a second Holocaust in Israel, were to be committed to a plan that calls for Gaza’s deradicalization and demilitarization — not just a hostage-for-jihadist trade that stops the war and rolls Israeli forces back — why would it demand that future jihadist foot-soldiers be set free?

Oct. 7: A Dark Anniversary

 The American Spectator

"Hamas claims that it has lost track of some of the hostages. That gives it — and its closest allies such as Palestinian Islamic Jihad — time to murder more of the hostages.

"[Today] is the second anniversary of Hamas’s attack on Israel. The October 7, 2023 attack was genocidal, seeking to kill the maximum number of Jews. Hamas burned entire families, used rape and torture as weapons of war and took about 250 hostages."

"President Trump is vastly different from former president Biden. Instead of pressuring Israel to make peace on Hamas’s terms, he has put forth four or five peace plans that were designed to place Israel in control of its own fate.

"Now Trump has put forth a 20-point peace plan and has given Hamas a deadline of 6:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time to agree to it or face what should be attacks by Israel that could eradicate the terrorist network.

"The plan requires the release of all hostages — those still alive and those who were murdered in captivity — within three days of the agreement. It also requires that Hamas surrender its weapons and not participate in any future Palestinian “government” of the Gaza Strip.

"The plan further creates a “Board of Peace,” headed by Trump, to oversee the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and ensure that Hamas takes no part in Gaza’s government.

"The unspoken alternative is for Hamas to face eradication by the Israelis.

"Several Arab nations have endorsed Trump’s plan. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt all issued a joint statement which said we  “welcome President Donald J. Trump’s leadership and his sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza, and assert their confidence in his ability to find a path to peace.”

"That means those Arab states, at least, are tired of the war and want it to end. It doesn’t mean that they won’t aid Hamas — especially our Qatari “allies” — but they are worried about Iran, Hamas’s principal sponsor, and its influence across their region.

"Hamas has already responded to the peace offer. In a statement it said that it would release all the hostages, “if the proper conditions for the exchange are met.” The statement continues, saying that Hamas “renews its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independents (technocrats), based on Palestinian national consensus and Arab and Islamic support.”

"Note well that Hamas doesn’t agree to be excluded from the future government of Gaza" . . .

Trump Warns of ‘Massive Bloodshed’ if Hamas Fails to Agree to Peace Deal

. . . "Trump previously announced the deadline in an Oct. 3 post on Truth Social, delivering an ominous warning to Hamas about accepting the deal.

"If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas," Trump wrote. "THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. Thank you for your attention to this matter!' " . . .

 October 7, Two Years Later

. . . "Alan Dershowtiz noted, “On October 8, things changed again when the extreme Progressive woke left used these massacres as an excuse to turn on Israel.  This was even before Israel fired a single shot or sent a single troop into Gaza.  Now on college campuses, students and faculty feel free to call for genocide against the Jews.  Everyone should read the Hamas charter, which in some ways is worse than Mein Kampf because it is more specific.' ” . . .

. . . "The world should realize that evil does not occur in a vacuum.  Some, whether college presidents, the mainstream media, or Western leaders, should recognize that they have enabled and encouraged genocide against the Jews."

Rashida Tlaib: 'If You Want to Be Louder, Vote Uncommitted'

Rashida Tlaib: 'If You Want to Be Louder, Vote Uncommitted' – HotAir

"Not a word of concern over Palestinians burning babies alive, machine-gunning families, and raping young Israeli women repeatedly.". . .

. . ."It's all about votes for our demented president. It's bad enough he looks feeble domestically. It is dangerous that he looks weak on the world stage. Who is afraid of Joe Biden? Not Putin. Not Hamas, a proxy of Iran. Does anyone think Xi is worried about Joe Biden? Biden banned government electronic devices from using TikTok and now his campaign is using it to attract young voters. You can't make this stuff up.

"Tlaib and the Hamas caucus want Israel to retreat. The only way that Israel can stop fighting is when they destroy Hamas. Israel can no longer have Hamas living on its border. Joe Biden should put America first and America's loyal ally in the Middle East by stiffening his spine in his support of Israel. Instead, he is more concerned about his re-election. This is a disgrace. Joe Biden is not fit to be president." . . .

The repulsive, angry, Joy-Reidish Tlaib has not one bit of sorrow for the families killed, tortured, or burned alive by her countrymen; not a bit of blame for the ghastly deeds done by her people that led to all the violence in Gaza. If she wants peace for her people, she must learn they have to be the people a nation would respond to welcome as neighbors. TD

HAMAS MASSACRE (saturday-october-seven.com)

The World Does Not Want Israel to Win the War Against Hamas UPDATED:

  American Greatness (amgreatness.com)

This means that Israel’s leaders will need to press on alone to defend their nation against Hamas and other threats until there is a new president in the White House who stands firmly with the Israeli people. Hopefully, that will happen next January.

"The daring Israel Defense Forces (IDF) rescue mission on June 8 that freed four Israelis taken hostage by Hamas during its October 7, 2023 terrorist attack against Israel was a pivotal event that should have shifted global opinion about the war in Israel’s favor by illustrating the shocking malevolence of Hamas and how little it values human life.

""Unfortunately, this did not happen.

"The IDF freed four hostages who Hamas was holding in apartment buildings, using the residents as human shields to prevent them from being freed. In addition, so-called “innocent” Palestinian civilians were incarcerating hostages in their apartments, with Hamas reportedly paying them to do so.

"Abdallah Aljamal, a Gaza-based journalist, held three Israeli hostages captive in his home. Aljamal, who was killed in the IDF raid, wrote many stories slamming Israel for human rights violations in the war and killing Palestinians. He also was a spokesman for Hamas.

"Desperate to prevent the hostages from being brought back to Israel by the IDF team, Hamas fighters attacked the team as it left the apartment buildings with machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades. The IDF team defended itself and Israel was forced to conduct airstrikes to defend the hostage extraction.

"Arnon Zmora, an officer of the IDF’s elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit, was shot and critically injured by Hamas terrorists guarding three of the four hostages.

"This was a great victory for Israel and demonstrated that it will not abandon its people taken hostage by Hamas terrorists. Hamas holding hostages in crowded civilian areas and its ferocious firefight against the IDF rescuers demonstrated how little Hamas values human life and confirmed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s belief that more Palestinian civilian deaths work to his advantage.

"But most of the world saw the IDF raid differently. Israel was criticized for the large number of Palestinian civilian casualties in the raid, even though many were caused by Hamas fighters firing on IDF forces in a civilian area. The mainstream media and Western politicians cited, without question, exaggerated Palestinian casualty figures from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry. U.S. and European media described the raid as a “deadly hostage rescue.” Some Western media outlets tried to downplay the fact that Hamas was engaged in hostage-taking by claiming the hostages had been “released” rather than “freed.” . . .

Give Hamas advance notice of the raid and this is what you will find:

International women’s rights orgs silent on Hamas' kidnapping and sexual violence in Israel

The name "Antifa" stands for anti-Nazi, does it not? Wouldn't support for Israel be in line with their stated mission?

From California: Stanford professor suspended for calling Jewish students 'colonisers' - The Jewish Chronicle (thejc.com)

Israeli Student Assaulted on Columbia University Campus - Algemeiner.com   . . ."IA said he was outside the university library with four other friends and noticed the suspect with a bandana covering her face, ripping off flyers they had put up earlier with names and photos of Israelis that Hamas has reportedly taken as hostages.
"When the group approached her, IA said the suspect screamed obscenities toward the students and hit the victim with a stick. IA said he defended himself when the suspect allegedly tried to punch him in the face. After the incident, the victim said that one hand was bruised and his ring finger on the other hand was broken." . . .

  Just The News

An Inconvenient Truth? Leftist groups who purportedly exist to combat sexism and rape appear to be giving a "pass" to Hamas.

"Several international women’s rights organizations have remained silent as terrorists killed and sexually assaulted numerous Israeli women in an attack over the weekend, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of their social media platforms and websites.

"Hamas, a U.S.-designated Palestinian terrorist group, invaded Israel on the morning of October 7 and began executing and kidnapping Israeli men, women, children and the elderly, with thousands reported dead and injured.

"Multiple outlets have reported that Hamas terrorists have been sexually assaulting women as they tried to escape from a music festival in Israel but international women’s groups have remained silent over the past few days despite the violence.

"Equality Now, a human rights organization that targets violence and abuse of women around the world, has not released a statement regarding the attack but noted the upcoming International Day of the Girl Child on Oct. 11, which celebrates justice for young girls, according to a Monday Twitter post." . . .

Netanyahu's office releases horrifying images of infants murdered by Hamas | The Times of Israel   . . ."The Times of Israel is sharing heavily blurred versions of the photos that were released.

"A spokesman for the PMO told The Times of Israel that the rationale behind sharing such images was simple: “So that the world will see just a fraction of the horrors that Hamas carried out.”

"The PMO said the photos released were some of what was shown earlier Thursday to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, adding that they are “difficult-to-see images of babies murdered and burned by the monsters of Hamas. Hamas are not human. Hamas is ISIS.” . . .

Babies Killed, Beheaded in Israel by Hamas at Kfar Aza: Israeli TV (msn.com)  "Israeli Major General Itai Veruv spoke to reporters at the scene of the Kibbutz massacre: “It is not a battlefield. You see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms and how the terrorist kills them. It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. It’s a massacre, it’s a terror activity.”

Israel releases pictures of ‘murdered babies’ as evidence of stomach-churning Hamas atrocities (msn.com)  A rescue team who visited the kibbutz, where the smell of rotting bodies still hangs in the air, told how they saw a pregnant woman lying dead on the floor of the first house they walked into.

"It had earlier been reported that the terrorists massacred entire families including babies at Kfar Aza.

"Mr Blinken said he had seen images of children “riddled with bullets” and young people who had been burned by Hamas attackers.

"He told a press conference: “Images are worth a thousand words - these are worth a million.” He likened the brutality to that of ISIS.

"He said the images he had seen represented “depravity in the most unimaginable way”." . . .

“Hamas has only one agenda: to destroy Israel and to murder. No country can or would tolerate the slaughter of its citizens or simply return to the conditions that allowed it to take place. Israel has the right, indeed, the obligation to defend itself and to ensure that this never happens. So the prime minister and I discussed how Israel does this matters. Our humanity, the value that we place on human life and human dignity. That’s what makes us who we are. And we count them among our greatest strength.”

"Nobody could have anticipated the consequences of our October 7th attack."

Hamas official: We couldn't have anticipated Israel's October 7 response - The Jerusalem Post (jpost.com)  "Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouk claimed that Hamas did not anticipate Israel’s response to its October 7 massacre, according to a translation of an interview given to Egypt’s Alghad TV on Thursday by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

“When the [al-Qassam] brigades did what they did on October 7," the interviewer asked, "did they have any expectations regarding the consequences of the attack?” Marzouk responded that nobody had anticipated Israel’s response.

“Nobody in the whole world expected them to be so barbaric,” Marzouk said. “And in such violation of all international laws, treaties, and norms. Nobody expected the [Israeli response] to be so barbaric because, ultimately, the resistance fights soldiers. It is not fighting civilians with planes and tanks.”

"The same Hamas official claimed in October that terror tunnels had been constructed to protect Hamas terrorists and that it was Israel's and the United Nation's responsibility to protect Palestinian civilian lives.

"The IDF has been forced to fight on Gazan terrain as Hamas has a large amount of military infrastructure built within civilian areas of Gaza. Notably, terror tunnels used by Hamas have been located under hospitals and the UNRWA headquarters. " . . .

Who could expect Israel to be angry over their families; their women being burned to death and having body parts, including breasts amputated during rape? How could they mind Palestinians being gleeful while breaking the bones of captured Israelis?

Was cooking infants in ovens a problem for them?

Gazans raped Israeli women, then shot them in the head during the act of rape; how would we have thought that was a problem for Jews?

Horrific new stories of Hamas attacks in Israel surface, including rape of woman who screamed to be killed (nypost.com)   "A “beautiful woman with the face of an angel’’ was raped by eight to 10 Hamas terrorists in Israel on Oct. 7, while another tragic victim was beheaded with a shovel while trying to defend herself, a stricken survivor says.

Yoni Saadon, a 39-year-old father of four, told the UK’s Sunday Times that he is still haunted by the horrific scenes he witnessed at the Nova Music festival, when the Hamas fiends slaughtered at least 364 festival-goers, including the gang-raped woman, who begged to be killed.

“I saw this beautiful woman with the face of an angel and eight or 10 of the fighters beating and raping her,” recalled Saadon, a foundry shift manager. “She was screaming, ‘Stop it already! I’m going to die anyway from what you are doing, just kill me!’

“ 'When they finished, they were laughing, and the last one shot her in the head,” he said.

"Saadon said he witnessed the gruesome act after pulling over him the body of a slain woman who had also been shot in the head — and smearing her blood on himself so it looked like he, too, was dead."

“I will never forget her face,” he said. “Every night I wake to it and apologize to her, saying, ‘I’m sorry.’ “. . .

"I cannot wait to call Momma and tell her what I did to this Jew!"

Hamas hostages: Stories of the people taken from Israel (bbc.com)

IDF shows foreign press Hamas bodycam videos, photos of murder, torture, decapitation | The Times of Israel

. . ."In the second segment, captured through a call recording application on a victim’s phone, a different son reaches out to a different father. “Dad, I killed 10 with my bare hands,” the terrorist excitedly tells his father in Gaza. “Their blood is on my hands, let me speak to Mom.”

“ 'Please be proud of me, Dad,” he adds."

Watching the terrified faces of the four bloodstained teenage girls being paraded by Hamas gunmen was beyond their parents' worst nightmare. The haunting images were taken just hours after they were kidnapped and Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, Daniela Gilboa and Agam Berger appeared shadows of their former selves."     "Three months have passed since that recording of them lined up against a wall in Gaza, their hands bound behind them – and still they are in captivity."

Their plight is minimized by pro-Hamas commenters by telling us they are IDF soldiers. I have to consider every supporter of Hamas who entered Israel on Oct 6th - no matter their age - to be a Hamas fighter and has no consideration Israel is bound to respect. The Tunnel Dweller

Blame should be on Hamas, not Israel! Why is that not obvious to the scarf people in the streets?

. . ."In 2010, Tim Smith wrote a book entitled The Strong Horse, and in it he posited that Arab culture decrees that when faced with the choice between a weak horse and a strong horse, an Arab will always select and follow the strong horse. Israel: Stop acting bat s–t crazy and be the strong horse!"

AfterMath

. . ."One can arguably posit that Israeli security was inadequate on October 7th. But Israel’s initial wrong-headed response to the tragic attack was shaped by tradition and societal expectations.

"Consider the slogan “Bring them back.” Those words placed the burden on innocent Israel and not on the drugged-up psychopaths who had perpetrated the horrors.

"Moreover, Israelis expected the IDF to bring home both the living and the dead; even if it meant that some Israeli forces might die bringing back a corpse.

"All of this focus took the onus of responsibility away from the perpetrators of unspeakable crimes. “Release them” should have been demanded of Palestinians and Hamas, rather than “Bring them home” which was the Israeli cry." . . .

Sadly, Israel seems to be required to please the United States which tends to require a wimpish, democrat-influenced response that will satisfy MSNBC and "The View" ladies.

Minister Ron Dermer says blame should be on Hamas, not Israel - The Jerusalem Post   . . ."Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer directed the blame for the failure to reach a hostage deal at Hamas, stating that they have failed to accept any of the hostage deal proposals brought forward by Israel, the US, and other Arab mediators, according to an interview conducted on Wednesday on CNN.

"When asked whether the Israeli government is "moving the goalposts" regarding the hostage deal, Dermer responded, "The government is doing all it can, returning 150 of the 250 hostages taken by Hamas, with 110 of them returned alive."

"When pressed about the anger felt by the Israeli public over the execution of six Israeli hostages, Dermer said, "We should all be angry and outraged, but at Hamas, not the Israeli government. It was Hamas that killed the hostages, it was Hamas that invaded Israel and murdered twelve hundred people in cold blood.' ". . .

Hamas? Because this is what Hamas does! Israel Eliminates Hamas Terrorist Who Murdered Father in Front of Kids on October 7 (legalinsurrection.com)

"Hamas terror commander, who murdered an Israeli father in front of his small kids, was eliminated in an Israeli airstrike, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed Tuesday.

"Ahmad Fauzi Nasser Muhammad Wadia, the commander of the Hamas terrorist Nukhba forces, paraglided into the Israeli border community of Netiv Ha’asra and oversaw the massacre there. Wadia was captured by a security camera drinking Coca-Cola before the bleeding kids, aged 9 and 13, while their father lay dead.

"Gil Taasa, a 46-year-old firefighter, was killed when he jumped on a grenade to shield his sons, Koren (13) and Shai (9). Gil’s 17-year-old son Or was murdered by Wadia’s Nabuka terrorist forces. Koren and Shai managed to escape along with their mother despite severe injuries. Shay later lost his eyesight from a shrapnel wound during the attack." . . .

Hamas vows to kill hostages at 'risk' of rescue, and Biden ups his pressure on Israel (nypost.com)   "Hamas has now basically admitted it killed those six hostages rather than risk their liberation — indeed, all but boasted of it.

"Meanwhile, the Harris-Biden administration seems to be taking the tragedy as license to push Israel into a cease-fire deal that could let the terrorists re-supply." . . .

Feckless Biden and Kamala have thrown Israel to the wolves with their ignorance and betrayal - Michael Goodwin

"As fate would have it, the 79th anniversary of the formal Japanese surrender in World War II came on the same day that Joe Biden all but encouraged Hamas to keep fighting and holding hostages in Gaza.  The contrast suggests that had Biden been president back then instead of Harry Truman, America would have lost the Second World War."

UPDATED: Amazing what Democrats will choose to protest; The hypocrisy extends for miles.

 Jack Hellner

"If your “protest” against “fascism” includes you doing a conga line in costume, maybe you aren’t actually fighting fascism. Maybe you’re just bored."

"Let's look at what they protest and what they don't to see if that is true.

"First off, you never saw protests against Obama or Biden, no matter what they did or didn't do.

"We have seen many protests against law enforcement.

"When a white cop shot a black criminal teenager who tried to grab his gun in Ferguson, Missouri, we saw massive destructive protests throughout the country with the known lie about 'hands up don't shoot.'

"We saw massive destructive protests when a cop killed a black drug addict resisting arrest in Minneapolis.

"We are seeing mass protests throughout the country because a radical white woman was killed when she had a dangerous weapon, a car, and used it on an ICE agent.

"We see mass protests when ICE and Border Patrol agents are finally enforcing the laws that Congress passed after years when Biden intentionally flooded America with illegals.

"No matter how many cops are killed by criminals, there are no protests."

"Yesterday, with remarkable, robotic unanimity, the Democrats discovered that Hamas is a bad organization. Considering that, beginning with Hamas’s October 7, 2023, genocidal attack against Israel, so many in the Democrat party were loath to condemn Hamas, while the party’s foot soldiers openly embraced it, the sudden turnaround is suspect. None of the possible explanations reflects well on the Democrats." . . .

. . . "The Democrat party foot soldiers, of course, were loud and proud about supporting Hamas or, if they didn’t name Hamas, about supporting its actions. Here are just two examples of many:

. . . "Immediately after the attacks, when the smoke was still rising and the blood was still wet on Israeli soil, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Gaza) refused to condemn Hamas. Additionally, eight Democrats joined her to vote “no” on an October 25, 2023, resolution to condemn Hamas (as did the execrable Thomas Massie (R-Gaza)), and six others voted present to avoid taking a stand." . . .

. . . "One almost must admire Rashida Tlaib for refusing to join this newfound disdain for Hamas. At least she has her principles.

"So, what gives?

"One thing, which I know from paying attention to the Democrat-voting Jews in my world, is that many Jews have finally decided that, yes, the Democrat party hates them. Albeit reluctantly, they’re turning away from it. And now that illegal and criminal aliens are being deported and exposed, Democrats can’t afford to lose a reliable (and generous) voting bloc.

"Another theory, which I strongly support, is that Democrats know that the mullahs are doomed. Once the mullahs flee, their files will be opened, and those files will reveal a whole lot about how Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis have been funded and the moral support they’ve received. Democrats may be worried that they’ll show up in those files. (Same goes for information in Venezuela, which also helped support Hamas and Hezbollah.)

"There’s also a theory that indictments are finally coming for the loud-and-proud radicals who provided material support for Hamas via the “Free Palestine” movement. The stench will be bad, and the Democrats want some distance.

"In other words, the Democrats aren’t opposing Hamas for principled reasons. If they’d had principles, they would have opposed Hamas over two years ago. Instead, this is a CYA effort that only serves to highlight just how foul Democrats really are."  Much more..
