Savage Beating During Dallas Riot Illustrates Why We Defend Second Amendment

Bearing Arms  "Gun control activists don’t really see the point of guns, at least for the most part. Quite a few will work to curtail your ability to purchase a gun but have no qualms about owning them themselves. It’s different when they buy guns, after all, because they’re all good and pure and stuff.
"However, they will often question you about why you have a gun, whether you’re carrying at the moment or whether it’s your AR-15 at home in the safe.
“Why do you think you need something like that?” they ask.
"Well, because stuff like this can happen (some might find the following video disturbing):
"I’ve personally seen this video, which comes from a riot in Dallas over the weekend, from a couple of different angles. This was reportedly a man who was trying to protect his business from looters, and we see how that worked out for him.  Some reports claim he had some kind of a bladed weapon, like a machete, but all seem to agree that he didn’t have a firearm.
"It’s my understanding that, despite appearances to the contrary, the individual pictured here survived." . . .

How America Can Stand for Peace While Demanding Justice

Heritage

"Key takeaways:

  • The promise of the Declaration of Independence that we are all created equal applies to people of every race. This is not about politics—it is about morality.
  • Individually, we can make a difference by promoting peace and prosperity for all people, knowing life is better for everyone when we as Americans succeed together.
  • It will take courage to speak up, but it is the only way we can overcome racism and the problems plaguing our nation.
. . . "The arrest of fired Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin on Friday on charges of manslaughter and third-degree murder is a welcome step, but it is just a Band-Aid.
"Chauvin is seen on cellphone video kneeling on Floyd’s neck as Floyd lay on the pavement handcuffed and helpless. Other officers with Chauvin did nothing as they watched Floyd die, and should face justice for their inexcusable inaction.
"During my 70 years on this Earth I have lived through the civil rights movement, I have seen the highs and lows of this country, I have seen America’s goodness, and I have seen its hatred." . . .

Son of Minnesota’s attorney general: 'I hereby declare, officially, my support for ANTIFA'

Fox  "The son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison tweeted on Sunday that he is declaring his support for Antifa after President Trump said that his administration would be declaring it a "Terrorist Organization."

"Jeremiah Ellison, who is a member of the Minneapolis City Council, noted in the tweet that he believes "white power" terrorists are actually the ones engaging in the looting, arson and other riot activities as violent sects hijack some of the protests against racial inequality and police brutality in the wake of the death of George Floyd last Monday.

" 'I hereby declare, officially, my support for ANTIFA," Ellison said. "Unless someone can prove to me ANTIFA is behind the burning of black and immigrant owned businesses in my ward, I’ll keep focusing on stopping the white power terrorist THE ARE ACTUALLY ATTACKING US!"

Trump says Biden staffers are working to ‘get the Anarchists out of jail’  . . . "At least 13 members of the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate’s staff have donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which opposes suspects from having to post cash bail to avoid being locked up before trial, according to a report on Saturday.
"Protests and violent riots have been taking place in Minneapolis – and cities around the country – since George Floyd died after a police officer kneeled on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes even as he pleaded: “I can’t breathe.”
"A Biden campaign spokesman, Andrew Bates, told Reuters that the former vice president opposes the institution of cash bail as a “modern day debtors’ prison.' ”

The President Has the Constitutional Power to Restore Order. He Must Act.

What has happened over the last few nights in major cities of the United States is unacceptable. It has gotten worse because of federal and state passivity.

Andrew C. McCarthy

"Law enforcement is a vital response to any riotous uprising. Indeed, I believe the failure to enforce the laws without apology from the start of the upheaval last week has fueled its ferocity. It would be naïve to claim that much of the violence, which is being incited and coordinated by radical groups, might not have happened anyway — these groups are always on a hair-trigger, pouncing on any opportunity to make mayhem. But how badly things get out of control has a lot to do with the resolve of state and federal law enforcement. The laws do not enforce themselves.
"Progressive dogma notwithstanding, rioting spearheaded by radicals and anarchists does not exhaust itself if governments just give them time and space to get their yah-yahs out. Passivity, conveying the message that the laws will not be enforced, is provocative. It increases the appetite for rioting, which is only sated once the sociopaths have run out of things to burn and loot.
"That said, law enforcement on its own is inadequate to restore order once order has been lost. Police and prosecutorial offices simply do not have the resources to quell widespread seditionist violence. Consequently, other provisions of law must be considered." . . .

This is not the "greatest generation" More like vicious and pathetic.

It's time for Trump to come out and take command  "President Trump, who put in a stellar leadership performance with the coronavirus crisis — recognizing the danger, rendering aid with record speed, deregulating, leading on the cure, bringing in many players, and (unlike the blue-city and blue-state satraps) moving to close the operation as the curve flattened.  It was Trump's classic "hotel manager" crisis management at its best.

"But something's gone wrong with his strange silence and ineffectual tweets with this crisis.  I'm not the only one who's noticed — the Daily Wire has an impressive wrap-up of this worrisome development here.
"Its premise is quite twisted.  One racial incident in a solid blue city with all blue players, and suddenly Trump's the one being blamed.  It had to be unnerving for him and maybe easy to dismiss since it was all so meritless; it was blue-city awfulness at its worst.  The left hammered on.  The entire media establishment and Hollywood chi chi crowd stayed with this line and stepped up their encouragement of protests, painting him with the racism narrative.  He seems to be on the defensive.
"Now the protests have became a vehicle for criminals, using color of race, for some kind of national "devil's nights."  It's the Detroitification of America, a neglected, miserable place, except going for multiple nights, with global markets and all the world watching.
"This is not a good look for Trump." . . .
Rioters Hurt 50 Secret Service Agents. Lincoln Memorial Vandalized, Church Burned, American Flags Burned

Obama: The Remains of an Administration

Victor Davis Hanson
Obama’s policies are in tatters, and the worst scandals of his White House are coming to light.
"Each day that the Obama administration fades into the past, its wrongdoings manage to wander back into the present.
"After years of suppression, all sorts of strange events keep popping up to remind us of what little is left of the Obama years — the Susan Rice memo, Christopher Steele deleting his computer records, FBI-doctored and lost 302s, text messages wiped clean, the bizarre Obama January 5, 2017, Oval Office meeting, the ambush interview of Michael Flynn, the unmasking and leaking of redacted names swept up in reverse-targeting surveillance operations, the administration fraud perpetrated on the FISA courts. The list is so overwhelming and bizarre that it ensures that anything at any time can now appear. And the result keeps reminding Americans of how corrupt were the years between 2009 and 2017 and how untruthful was the coverage of such institutionalized wrongdoing.
. . .
"Emeritus Barack Obama now and then ventures out to go through the motions of an enfeebled defense for what is becoming an increasingly discredited administration. But his heart is not in it. His mind is elsewhere. His cause is no longer social activism and community organizing, if it ever was, but lucre and the perceived well-earned good life. The arc of his moralizing universe is long, but for the anointed like him, it apparently bends toward the just deserts of riches and material bounty.
"First lady forever and bestselling memoirist Michelle Obama sometimes takes a hiatus from making millions to offer a half-hearted progressive warning about the sudden heartlessness of the country — reminiscent of her transitory 2008 warnings about a downright mean country and one of which she had previously not been especially proud.
"The remains of the Obama team (Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Comey, Samantha Power) are not offering much of a defense for the Obama years — they are now too busy scrambling to hide their own legal culpability and exposure." . . .

NYPD Sergeants Union Tweets Arrest Report For Mayor De Blasio’s Daughter

NYPD sergeants’ union tweets Chiara de Blasio’s full arrest report

TPM

. . . "The account also posted de Blasio’s internal arrest file, which included her home address (Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s residence), ID number and other personal information.
“How can the NYPD protect the city of NY from rioting anarchist when the Mayors object throwing daughter is one of them,” the SBA said in the same tweet. “Now we know why he is forbidding Mounted Units to be mobilized and keeping the NYPD from doing their jobs.”
"Soon after the sergeants union published the post, the post was removed and replaced with the note, “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.” (Among other rules, Twitter bars posting private information without “express authorization and permission.”)
"At a press conference Monday, Mayor de Blasio said the SBA “did something unconscionable, and it’s not just because it’s my daughter. They do this all the time with people’s privacy. This is another one of the things that has to change.” He compared the Twitter post to law enforcement leaks to reporters.
"The mayor said separately that his daughter had told him she was peacefully protesting and believed she was following police orders at the time of her arrest." . . .

The CNN headline was displayed like this:

New York City mayor's daughter arrested alongside protesters for 'unlawful assembly,' sources say
" 'unlawful assembly" was CNN's way of saying, "so they claim, but don't believe it".

MSNBC Reporter Describes Minneapolis “Protest” as “Not, Generally Speaking, Unruly” as He Stands in Front of Burning Building

What orders are given to these people at CNN and MSNBC before they go out to cover things? Are our people so poorly educated that there is no uprising against the content of our news and TV programming? TD

Legal Insurrection
“I want to be clear on how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest. It is not generally speaking unruly. But fires have been started.”

"Velshi said:
I want to be clear on how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest. It is not generally speaking unruly. But fires have been started. There is a deep sense of grievance and complaint here, and that is the thing. That when you discount people who are doing things to public property that they shouldn’t be doing, it does have to be understood that this city has got, for the last several years, an issue with police, and it’s got a real sense of the deep sense of grievance of inequality.
"It’s sad that I’m not surprised MSNBC tried to downplay the riots even on live TV. The station has no integrity." . . .

George Soros, 89, is still on a quest to destroy America

In spite of his abrasiveness, President Trump stands between us and people like this.

Rich Terrell
Soros’ Ties to US Politicians and Movements  "If you’re wondering just how tight Nancy Pelosi is tied to Soros, you don’t have to look very far. According to Fox News, in November of 2017, Nancy Pelosi and George Soros shared a stage raising money from liberal donors in California for “shaping political and policy transformation in America.” The conference was titled, “Beyond #Resistance: Reclaiming our Progressive Future.' ” . . .
"Soros Wants Trump Gone"  If you wonder why some people are so anti-Trump, it may help to look at who is receiving money from Soros.
"Chuck Schumer? Richard Blumenthal? Keith Ellison? Kamala Harris? Yes to all.
"But also on the list you’ll find Republican names like Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich. Their ties to Soros may explain a lot about their anti-Trump stance." . . .
In the 2018 election, Soros poured a lot of his money into Senate races, knowing the Senate would have the final say after the House voted to impeach Trump – which I personally believe Soros planned all along. Thankfully, not all his efforts at flipping Senate seats succeeded, but that hasn’t stopped his minions from moving forward with their attempt to impeach Trump.

George Soros, 89, is still on a quest to destroy America

List Of 206 Organizations Funded By George Soros That Are Operating In The US
"These organizations are directly funded by George Soros and his Open Society Foundations. Many of them have mission statements that sound high minded and worthy of support, but all of them are committed to goals and projects that are based on the leftist model of collectivism. Their primary appeal is to focus on problems in our society with little disclosure of the kind of society they hope to create. –GEG"

Democrats: you know 'em, you love 'em, and they do make news

Ilhan Omar’s Daughter Busted Trying To Help Rioters in Minneapolis Get Supplies
"Ilhan Omar is an interesting figure and she has no idea how popular she could be, even on the right, if she gave up the anti-USA stuff and showed gratitude for all that this great country has given her and her family.
"From a refugee camp to Congresswoman who celebrates America’s freedom and greatness and generosity is a great story and one both sides would applaud.
"Except instead of praising the country that gave her everything, she trashes it and that is the true tragedy of Omar – when she gets older and realizes what a fool she has been it will be too late.
And it may be too late for her daughter based on the below story." . . .
"In a series of tweets on Thursday, Hirsi shared numerous tweets that could be read as calls to action against the police.
"One of the tweets Hirsi promoted was posted by Twin Cities DSA, an antifa-affiliated account.

The View host loses it, claims Trump only wants to reopen economy again to ‘line his own pockets’  . . . "The vicious anti-Trump hatred from leftists truly knows no bounds. Trump is just a greedy monster to them, when there is just no proof of anything they are saying. It’s patently absurd and ridiculous." . . . But they have an applause cheerleader.

The media is promoting once again that riots are righteous anger.  . . . "Consider CNN. Rioters attacked its headquarters last night but instead of Jeff Zucker demanding an end to the violence, CNN promoted it as outrage to an injustice.". . .

"Rutgers University Associate Professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Brittney Cooper says Trump supporters are to blame for the disproportionate number of black Americans who have died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
"In a tweet thread on Tuesday, Cooper wrote, "I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd to push [sic] to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID. Not only do white conservatives not care about Black life, but my most cynical negative read of the white supremacists among them is that they welcome this massive winnowing of Black folks in order to slow demographic shifts and shore up political power."  . . .
. . . "She went on to say that Trump supporters "are literally willing to die from this clusterfucked COVID response rather than admit that absolutely anybody other than him would have been a better president," specifically criticizing Trump for his comments on disinfectants. " . . .

Did Bill de Blasio Just Become the Most Hated Man in America?

While Trump’s rhetoric has been divisive, it was despicable for de Blasio to attempt to blame the riots and looting and destruction on the president. Trump has condemned the horrific death of George Floyd, the black man who died after a police officer knelt on his neck for nearly ten minutes. The president ordered the FBI and the Department of Justice to investigate the case, demonstrating his seriousness in bringing the cops to justice.
PJ Media

"As the riots and destruction across America continued for the fifth day after protests originally over the death of George Floyd devolved into looting and destruction in Minneapolis, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio despicably attempted to score political points by blaming President Donald Trump for the “atmosphere” of “tension and hatred and division” behind the protests. Yet he managed to alienate the anti-Trump left a few hours later by refusing to condemn police who drove a cruiser into a crowd of protesters.
“ 'I’ve not seen the specific words coming out of the White House or actions but I can tell you this, and this is the blunt truth: The president of the United States helped to create this atmosphere, and that’s the tragedy here,” de Blasio said in a press conference on Saturday.
“ 'It doesn’t matter what your party affiliation is, it doesn’t matter what you think of President Trump, there’s been an uptick in tension and hatred and division since he came along, it’s just a fact,” the mayor added. “And it’s not the reason for any specific act but it has helped to poison the atmosphere. So we’ve got to get back to leaders talking about unity.”
