Pelosi Loses It During CNN Interview On Coronavirus Relief, Demands Host Show Her ‘Respect’…

Bret Baier Smoothly Swoops in With an Offer for Nancy Pelosi After Disastrous CNN Interview   "As my colleague Bonchie previously reported, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) gave one of the most disastrous interviews in the history of interviews last night during a wild appearance on Wolf Blitzer’s “Situation Room” program on CNN.

"For those who missed it, watch a 1-minute clip from the interview below, which happened at the end of their contentious exchange. Pelosi became absolutely unhinged after Blitzer suggested she not let the “perfect be the enemy of the good” on the COVID relief bill:" . . .

Nancy Pelosi goes into meltdown on live TV  . . . She melted down like the Wizard of Oz's witch after a bucket of water was thrown when asked why she wasn't willing to present President Trump a stimulus bill for simple relief to American workers hard hit by the COVID lockdowns.

"And we are not talking about a question from a rat-dog like Brit Hume or Catherine Herridge.  The interviewer who drew House speaker Nancy Pelosi's meltdown was the affable Wolf Blitzer, whose soft spot for the Democrats is pretty well known.

"According to Fox News:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., accused CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer Tuesday of being "an apologist ... for the Republican position" during a stunning interview in which she grew visibly frustrated with "The Situation Room" anchor's questions.

The fireworks began when Blitzer asked Pelosi why she "won't accept the president's latest [coronavirus] stimulus offer." . . .

"Pelosi threw out the biggest insult she could think of to Blitzer, calling him an apologist for the Republicans, in her attempt to shut him down. " . . .

"CNN is not only rabidly anti-Trump, they are rabidly anti-Republican in general."  Day after day, their line up is filled with biased vitriol that’s most often not based in any fact. After all, this is the home network of figures like Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, and yes, Wolf Blitzer, who’s no stranger to partisan bias himself." . . .

Media Slamming ACB For Using Phrase “Sexual Preference” As Bigoted But They Used It Just Weeks Ago Themselves…

 Weasel Zippers

The Fragments of a Civilization

Victor Davis Hanson

Government crimes and coverups, a corrupt media, a candidate hiding and lying to the public, and plans to undo the foundations of the republic

"Piece by piece, our civilization is beginning to disassemble. And the agents of fragmentation are as obvious as the efforts to conceal them are frantic.

St. Hillary the Colluder

"In nonchalant fashion, we learned last week from newly released government documents that Hillary Clinton’s campaign team cooked up the Trump-Russia collusion hoax as a way of diverting attention from her own ongoing embarrassing email scandals.

"Clinton, through three firewalls, paid foreign ex-spy Christopher Steele to create a bogus smear-Trump dossier. Steele, who had no data on, or information about any such collusion, apparently drew largely on fabrications dreamed up by a former Russian spy working at the liberal Brookings Institution. The convoluted conspiracy baffled even the sneaky Russians, who were confused when they got wind of it — possibly through the direct participation of one of their own assets.

"Did we then spend millions of dollars on Robert Mueller’s nearly two-year investigation, a wild goose chase consuming millions of collective media hours hyping fantasies, and paralyzing an administration for three years — all for Hillary Clinton’s machinations, the apparent true and only Russian colluder?

"John Brennan’s CIA intercepted Russian concerns over such a ruse. He even briefed President Obama on the Clinton caper. Yet the U.S. investigatory and judicial branches did not stop Clinton’s efforts to subvert a rival’s campaign. Indeed, many of the highest officials of the Obama administration shortly joined her efforts to seed the fraudulent Steele dossier throughout the Obama government and thus into the media as well — their efforts peaking in timely fashion right before the November 2016 election.

"Translate all that, and the evidence grows that Hillary Clinton, in felonious fashion, paid for the Steele dossier to subvert an election and, after the election, to destroy a presidential transition and indeed a presidency itself — government efforts that historians one day will assess as the most intense effort on record to destroy a U.S. president."     . . .

'READY TO HELP' Hillary Clinton says she’s ready to serve in a Biden administration and help ‘fix’ America

The Sun    "HILLARY Clinton has said she would serve in Joe Biden's administration in order to "fix" the country.

"Speaking at the 19th Represents Summit on Thursday, Clinton said: "I’m ready to help in any way I can." . . .

"When Clinton endorsed Biden, she said: "Just think of what a difference it would make right now if we had a president who not only listened to the science, put facts over fiction, but brought us together."

" '[Someone who] showed the kind of compassion and caring that we need from our president, and which Joe Biden has been exemplifying throughout his entire life."

" 'Think of what it would mean if we had a real president and not just someone who plays one on TV."

"Clinton, who ran against Donald Trump four years ago, is in full support of Biden's VP pick of Kamala Harris, according to 19thnews.

“ 'I still hope, especially with Kamala on the ticket, that the coverage of women running for president or vice president will be less sexist, less sensationalist, less trivializing," she said.

“ 'I told them that they would just have to be ready for that and be able to ride through it.”

Suspicious Dem questions for Amy Coney Barrett suggest a set-up

http://www.terrellaftermath.com/

Suspicious Dem questions for Amy Coney Barrett suggest a set-up  "For those who have watched the Senate confirmation hearing of Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court justice, we know one thing:  facing the inevitability of her confirmation, the Democrats are using this entire hearing as a big, fat campaign ad for Joe Biden.  It's all about COVID, the ACA, and health care — just like his entire shtick for the last few months.

"But is this really all they are up to?  History proves that the Dems are usually up to no good, especially when they seem to be behaving.  It's possible they will just use the remainder of their time to filibuster, talk at the nominee, try to humiliate her, and push her into saying something inflammatory that they can use against her nomination and the president.  It's possible they are just going to let the process play out and only hope to gain some political advantage from it — nothing more." . . .

. . . "Putting it all together, my guess is that they have someone who will say ACB made offensive remarks about his sex directly to him, in a class, or in one of her legal opinions, and that this caused the accuser irreparable harm, pain, and suffering.  This  person might go even farther and claim (lie) that he were sexually harassed by her.

"So buckle up, girls and boys (and those who self-identify as girls and boys).  The Dems are poised to pull another Kavanaugh on our nominee and Bork the living hell out of her.  I may be wrong about this, but if I'm not, the Republicans had better not capitulate to the Dems.  They must put on their big boy pants, ignore the Dems wholesale, call the vote, and swear Barrett in faster than you can say Biden/Harris."

Biden Accuser Tara Reade to Release Memoir One Week Before Election Day

 Breitbart

"Tara Reade is writing a memoir to detail her journey since she came out against Joe Biden and alleged that he sexually assaulted her in 1993.

"In March, Reade, like several other women before her, went public with claims that Biden had touched her inappropriately without consent. That incident is to be told in Reade’s new book, Left Out: When The Truth Doesn’t Fit In, which is set to be released on October 27, one week before the presidential election.

"According to Fox News, the excerpt reads:

Tara Reade shares the aftermath of the re-victimization of speaking out about her sexual assault, with then-Sen. Joe Biden in 1993, where the shaming, attacks and threats instigated by the media set (sic) her into a personal tailspin. Tara-rized viciously by cyberbullies, receiving death threats, and fearing for her life and those of her family, Tara tells how living with no regret and coming forward was right for her conscious (sic). The moment that defines Tara will not confine, but instead move her forward by reclaiming her identity and pulling back together the pieces of life left.

"While Biden has denied Reade’s claims, Jacquie Jordan, founder of TVGuestpert Publishing, told Fox News that she believes Reade’s story is “worth” understanding.

“ 'As a woman-owned business, we believe Tara Reade’s story was worth being written, memorialized and shared,” Jordan said." . . .

Whatever Biden did to Tara, Bruce Springsteen is OK with it.

Mazie Hirono Cements Her Insanity, Asks Amy Coney Barrett if She’s Ever Raped Someone  "Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono is a certified insane person. That’s been known for a while, yet she continues to up the bar every time she ends up in the spotlight during a hearing. After previously trying to disqualify Amy Coney Barrett over her religion back in 2017, something that’s blatantly unconstitutional, Hirono strapped on the water skis and had the guy driving the boat floor it towards the shark in today’s confirmation hearing.

"This woman is legitimately the dumbest person to ever serve in the U.S. Senate, and that’s a position with an awful lot of competition." . . .

In what was a convoluted, nonsensical series of “questioning,” the Hawaii Senator decides that judges should in fact rule based on sympathies and not the law. Think about how crazy that is? Hirono also apparently has no idea what a term as basic as “severability” means. Keep in mind, this woman graduated from Georgetown with a law degree. My word, if there was ever sufficient proof a university should be shut down, this qualifies.

This election reflects America’s peculiar, and very dangerous, class war

Bookworm Room

America is in the midst of a weird Marxist class war, with the upper classes and dispossessed rebelling against the working and middle classes.

"Victor Davis Hanson was on Tucker Carlson on Thursday. Hanson is always interesting, but this time he knocked it out of the park and into the next county. What  he talked about was the fact that Trump represents ordinary Americans.

"Usually when people say, “If I were Trump, I would say blah, blah, blah,” I’m thinking “yeah, yeah, whatever. I know what you’d say, but it’s Trump who figured out how to get into the White House on the first try.”

"This time, though, when I listened to VDH, I realized that he was saying something extraordinarily important. This isn’t just the speech that Trump should make. Instead, this represents one of the most cogent statements I’ve heard about Trump, the leader, and his coalition, the everyday Americans. VDH makes patently clear that America is in the midst of a revolutionary class war, and one that the working- and true middle-class (as opposed to the “elite” upper middle class) must win if America is to survive:

. . .

"I wanted to stand up and cheer when VDH was done.

"And you know what’s really ironic? Since 1867, when Marx published Das Kapital, Marxists have been the ones who framed everything as class warfare. That’s part of why Marxism never really worked here in America the way it did in the rest of the world.

"America, after all, didn’t have fixed classes and it always had economic fluidity. With hard work (and, yes, luck) you could make it in America — and then you’d really be something. In the Old World (Europe, Asia, Latin America, etc.), no matter how hard you worked, you couldn’t make it and, even if you made money, you were never “something” in those societies.

. . . "Ideologues will often act against their own best interests. America’s white collar, wealthy, college educated Democrats are so terrified of the constructive class that they are siding with the violent radicals and anarchists to take political power back from Trump. They’re riding the tiger, though, because just a few years ago, their foot soldiers were calling themselves the 99% and vowing to kill all the Wall Street people.
"These are dangerous, crazy times. All I can do is urge you to go to the polls on November 3 and do everything you can to ensure that Trump and Congressional Republicans win in a landslide."  Emphasis mine; TD

The Week Washington Went Third World

Jack Cashill  "Until early August 2016, the only coups that America experienced happened on movie screens. Without intending, an exhaustive Washington Post article from June 2017 suggests how America’s first serious coup attempt unfolded.

"The article details an early August 2016 meeting in the White House. It should be noted that the article was written to provide cover for the Obama administration’s seemingly lackadaisical response to what the media imagined as the greatest provocation from Moscow since the Cuban missile crisis. According to the Post, the CIA’s John Brennan had sent an “intelligence bombshell” directly to Obama, an “eyes only” report with sourcing deep inside the Kremlin.

"The report allegedly detailed “Russian President Vladimir Putin’s direct involvement in a cyber campaign to disrupt and discredit the U.S. presidential race.” Reportedly, Putin was not just meddling in the campaign, but was actively trying to defeat Hillary and elect Trump. “It took time,” said the Post, “for other parts of the intelligence community to endorse the CIA’s view.”

"The nature of that bombshell appears to have shifted dramatically in the ten days prior to the August 2016 meeting. According to information released recently by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe, “In late July 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians' hacking of the Democratic National Committee.”

"Solidifying this report are the handwritten notes from Brennan that he “subsequently briefed” President Obama and other national security officials about the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services.” That “subsequent” briefing in early August would seem likely to be the one about which the Post breathlessly reported in June 2017." . . .

Trump Is the Integrity Candidate

Conrad Black

Improbable as it often seems, and whatever his failings, in this election Donald Trump is the candidate of honesty, competence, and legality.

"The election campaign, now finally approaching its climax, will long be studied because of the paradoxical reactions of American public opinion to an astonishing series of events and revelations. It is now clear from intelligence declassifications—now temporarily taking the place of indictments by the special counsel on the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation—that the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, knew that she was transmitting reports compiled by Russian intelligence agents and transmitted via former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele. These were presented to the U.S. intelligence and justice communities and ultimately to the public through the media as hard intelligence evidence of treasonable conduct by her opponent Donald Trump. The solid evidence of these facts is now in the public domain.

"Yet the Trump-hating media dismiss it all as an insane conspiracy theory. The special prosecutor, John Durham, was supposed to enable the voters to make an informed decision this autumn.Instead, he is dawdling along at his own pace—enhancing the possibility of the election of a regime that will as a first priority try to sweep the whole ghastly outrage under the rug yet again.

"This administration was hobbled for the first 60 percent of its term with an investigation that should never have taken place, and which was conducted with the chief purpose of provoking its innocent target into acts that, with the help of a national press corps amounting to little more than a bloodless presidential assassination squad, could be translated into grounds for an impeachment trial for obstruction of justice. No such impeachment could succeed, any more than the spurious attempt that did occur, but it might at least turn the page and the attention of American voters, leaving the crimes of the Democrats largely unsuspected. That was its purpose.

"The current Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, obviously was aware of and effectively approved large commercial payoffs to his son by a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company and a state-connected Chinese investment operation, yet President Trump was submitted to the absurd indignity of an unfounded impeachment trial in the Senate for an unexceptionable telephone call to the Ukrainian president. He was accused of acts which were not in fact impeachable or illegal, and which in any case, he was not linked to by any probative evidence that was adduced." . . .

CNN's John Berman demands footage of Trump removing mask be taken off the air: 'That’s going to kill people'  "CNN host John Berman urged producers of New Day not to show video footage of President Trump taking off his face mask “because that’s going to kill people.”
"“Take it off! Please don’t even put it on the screen. Please take it off because that’s going to kill people,” Berman said during a segment discussing public health and the president’s recovery.
" 'Friends, there’s so much to talk about this morning. Obviously, we will discuss the president’s health over the course of the show, but this morning, I think the bigger concern is for the public health,” he said to a panel, which included Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and professor of pediatrics and molecular virology and microbiology at Baylor University.
" 'And we’re looking at 210,000 Americans dead, we’re seeing a rise in new daily cases, and the president, in that Sunset Boulevard gesture, whipped his mask off in front of the American people on the nightly news last night,” he said before saying that footage of the president should be taken off the screen.

"The footage of Trump was taken off the screen after Berman's urging to do so." . . . (Video)

Minneapolis Residents Agreed Not to Call the Cops, Then the Rapes Began

The oppressive system of “white supremacy” was being dismantled one rape at a time.

Daniel Greenfield / Sultan Knish articles   "Last month, the New York Times brought its readers the heartwarming story of the Powderhorn neighborhood in Minneapolis whose residents had decided not to call the police.

" 'If you are a comfortable white person asking to dismantle the police I invite you to reflect: are you willing to stick with it?" Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender had demanded. "Will you be calling in three months to ask about garage break-ins? Are you willing to dismantle white supremacy in all systems, including a new system?"

"Powderhorn residents had taken that message to heart and refused to call the police.

"A few days later, a “juvenile” girl was assaulted. The Associated Press reported that, “the people who took the victim to the hospital did not call police.”

"By July, the encampment had grown to 800 people and 3 sexual assaults.

"The oppressive system of “white supremacy” was being dismantled one rape at a time.

"The Powderhorn Park encampment really took off when the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board of Commissioners declared that the city's parks were now "sanctuaries" for anyone who wanted to live in them. The resolution cited Governor Walz's declaration of a "peacetime emergency" which banned removing homeless people from anywhere they wanted to be.

"Since then, 38 more Minneapolis parks have been turned into tent cities, and of these, Powderhorn Park is the worst. The park version of CHAZ began with the Black Lives Matter riots after George Floyd’s death when the Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel was taken over, renamed the Sanctuary Hotel, and filled with homeless vagrants by lefty activists.

" 'This is a means of land repatriation. This is a means of addressing historic deep disparities," one of the lefty activists declared.

"The Sheraton was being repatriated from its Indian-American owner by indigenous white lefties and the minority hotel owner had been “confronted with the alternative of evacuating his hotel and having it possibly burned down.”

"The lefties quickly grew bored or frightened as the former Sheraton was overrun with “rampant drug use and sales”, piles of garbage and overdoses. There were fights, drug deals, and even a fire in one room. The hotel was cleared and the encampments headed to Powderhorn.

"So did the drug dealing, the overdoses, the violence, and the sexual assaults.

"Two girls and one woman have been assaulted. But an activist insisted that rapes, “can happen in any park.' ". . .  These people vote.

Media Mistakes in the Trump Era: The Definitive List

Sharyl Attkisson  "We the media have "fact-checked" President Trump like we have fact-checked no other human being on the planet, and he's certainly given us plenty to write about. That's probably why it's so easy to find lists enumerating and examining his mistakes, missteps and "lies."

"But as self-appointed arbiters of truth, we've largely excused our own unprecedented string of fact-challenged reporting. The truth is, formerly well-respected, top news organizations are making repeat, unforced errors in numbers that were unheard of just a couple of years ago.

"Our repeat mistakes involve declaring that Trump's claims are "lies" when they are matters of opinion, or when the truth between conflicting sources is unknowable; taking Trump's statements and events out of context; reporting secondhand accounts against Trump without attribution as if they're established fact; relying on untruthful, conflicted sources; and presenting reporter opinions in news stories, without labeling them as opinions.

"What's worse, we defend ourselves by trying to convince the public that our mistakes are actually a virtue because we (sometimes) correct them. Or we blame Trump for why we're getting so much wrong. Is a little bit like a police officer taking someone to jail for DUI, then driving home drunk himself: he may be correct to arrest the suspect, but he should certainly know better than to commit the same violation.

"So since nobody else has compiled an updated, extensive list of this kind, here are:

Notable Mistakes and Missteps in Major Media Reporting on Donald Trump

On the first day of the Barrett hearing, Democrats were truly awful

Then, with voices shaking, multiple senators effectively accused Barrett of plotting mass murder.  It was despicable, and it also once again turned the Supreme Court into a political instrument for the Democrat party.
Barrett doesn't need notes

Andrea Widburg  . . . "In this case, the Democrats opened not by attacking Barrett (although they did that, too).  Instead, they repeatedly attacked the proceedings themselves, saying  they were a sham and therefore illegitimate.  They also invoked Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as if she were a saint rather than a government employee who misused her power.  These attacks had a purpose.  Beginning in 2021, whatever happens next, whether the Democrats win and pack the Court or lose and decide not to abide by its rulings, the foundation will have been laid at this nomination hearing: a Court with Amy Coney Barrett on it is no Court at all.

"Because the Democrat senators knew they could not possibly make the case that Barrett belonged to a rape gang while in high school, they had to demean her in a different way.  They ultimately decided to paint Barrett as a mass murderer.  Doing this required striking a fairly delicate balance.  Barrett is openly pro-life, which means she opposes the slaughter of those 61 million innocents who have been aborted since 1973.

"The avenue for painting the mild-mannered mother of seven as a person barely better than Ted Bundy was to say, in effect, that she was going to murder Obamacare and, by doing so, kill women and children.  The hook for this argument can be found in the fact that the Supreme Court will hear an Affordable Care Act case on November 11.  The pivot for that case is the 2017 legislation doing away with the tax penalty that was the mechanism Obamacare used to force people to buy insurance." . . .
