Douglas Murray reveals ‘bizarre behaviour’ from Nancy Pelosi

Douglas Murray reveals ‘bizarre behaviour’ from Nancy Pelosi - YouTube  "Douglas Murray reveals ‘bizarre behaviour’ from Nancy Pelosi"  Mr. Murray states America has become a "gerontocracy"

"Author Douglas Murray has detailed the latest of House speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “typically strange behaviour”. “ 'We know the tendency of Joe Biden to lose his train of thought … but Nancy Pelosi is absolutely a world leader in it,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “ 'And of completely bizarre behaviour.' ”

Media works overtime to clean up Joe Biden’s word salads

Media works overtime to clean up Joe Biden's word salads (nypost.com)

"For decades, Joe Biden was known as a glib speaker. These days, he’s more like an aggressively weird word chef, tossing unrelated ingredients together into a strange bowl of thoughts. Step right up, Americans, and get yourself a sample of the presidential word salad!

"A German reporter this week asked President Biden a bizarre question about how, assuming he is defeated when he runs for re-election, possibly by Donald Trump, he would stop the next president from undoing things he has done. Biden’s answer should have been, “That’s not how this works. Ex-presidents don’t get to tell their successors what to do, sorry. Re-elect me!” Instead, he wandered around for hundreds of words of barely intelligible stream-of-consciousness remarks:

“ 'I don’t think you’ll find any European leader who thinks that I am not up to the job. And I mean that sincerely. It’s not like, ‘Whoa …’ It’s that — that — the point is that when — the first G7 meeting I attended, like the one I did today, was in Great Britain. And I sat down, and I said, ‘America is back. And one of the — one of my counterparts, colleagues, a head of state, said, ‘For how long? For how long?’ ”. . .

Is there a bigger clown in the U.S. Senate than Cory Booker?

Silvio Canto, Jr.   "The U.S. Senate is for serious people, unless we are talking about Senator Cory Booker. Let's remember Sen. Booker now and then with Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

"I'm sure that all of you remember Sen. Booker doing everything under the sun to derail Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court, including making a total fool of himself with his “I am Spartacus" moment.

"This is from Jess Lawson:

For those who may not be old enough to remember, there was a time when Democratic senators actually fulfilled their duties at these hearings by fairly scrutinizing a Supreme Court nominee to confirm his or her worthiness. But Booker’s priority is clearly on him preserving his joy and ensuring Jackson makes it to the bench: qualifications be damned.

Consider some of the following outlandish statements by the senator:

“You didn’t get here by some leftwing agenda.”… That’s funny senator because President Biden openly admitted that he was only going to consider a black woman as his nominee; that’s kind of leftwing, don’t you think?

“You’re a person who’s so much more than your race and gender.”… It’s interesting you should say that Senator Booker, because during the entirety of your comments you focused on nothing but Jackson’s race and gender.

“It’s hard for me to look at you and not see my mom.”… We’re debating, as a nation, whether to put this woman on the highest court in the land for the rest of her life, and you’re comparing her to your mother? That’s some serious inspection of Jackson’s credentials you’re doing there, senator.

"So there you have it. That's who represents the state of New Jersey.". . .

Conservative Disney employees: Our beliefs are under attack over Parental Rights in Education Bill – HotAir

Disney was once called the happiest place on earth. Unfortunately, the Age of Wokeism is ending that claim. Families notice when a company looks the other way and lets woke employees run the place. If conservatives who hold opinions different than those of activist progressives no longer feel welcomed in a place like Disney World, they will take their business elsewhere.

USA Today beclowns itself trying to cover for Ketanji Brown Jackson saying she can’t define what a woman is -

"Interdisciplinary" means you mix fields, and you're saying you're a "feminist scientist," which is already Not a Scientist, and you mix that with "gender studies scholar[ship]," making you even more Not a Scientist. Ace of Spades

American Thinker   "The media and other Democrats realize they have a problem when their president’s nominee for the nation’s highest court embraces postmodern BS like transgenderism’s claim that merely thinking of oneself as the opposite sex magically transforms that person into the opposite sex. Yet that is what Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson effectively did when she told Senator Blackburn that she couldn’t define what a woman is because “I’m not a biologist.”

"The mockery that ensued was painful because it exposed part of the nonsense that has become gospel on the left.  Judge Jackson took that nonsense position because she fears the transgender lunch mobs that, under the banner of ”intersectionality,” ae able to mobilize the angry identity groups that bully the rest of the left and much of the middle into compliance with their madness.

"Into the fray, however, jumped USA Today, which has become one of the most dogmatic left-wing outlets in the nation. In a “news” story written by Alia E. Dastagir,  dishonestly headlined, “Marsha Blackburn asked Ketanji Brown Jackson to define 'woman.' Science says there's no simple answer.' ”. . .

[Alia E. Dastagir's] bio says she's a "feminist scientist." You know -- the famous scientific field of Feminism.

Her degree which she claims makes her a "feminist scientist" is in Noted Scientific Field "Sociomedical Sciences." Um, again, adding in "social" into the mix.

Not a Scientist.

And she's attached, of course, to the Women's and Gender Studies Department -- not to any scientific department. Not to the "Sociomedical Science" department, which of course does not exist because it's not a real thing.

So no, she's not a "scientist." She brands herself that way so she can make her gender studies claims sound "scientific" to idiots, such as those who populate the media.

You're not a "scientist" just because you "feel science-y." You're a scientist if you do the work of an actual scientist. She does not. She's just another idiot Gender Studies Marxist.. . .

Is Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson humble, or just an idiot? - American Thinker  . . .

Usually, graduates of Harvard Law School display abundant omniscience.

But not Judge Jackson. Her retreat from admitting having any knowledge at all is a disgrace to armchair epistemologists everywhere.

And so, is Judge Jackson suffering from a crippling excess of humility? Or is she just an idiot?

I’m neither a lexicographer nor a psychotherapist. But I know the answer, and so do you.

Trump Sues Hillary Clinton as Russiagate Prepares to Explode

'The defendants nefariously sought to sway the public’s trust'

"President Donald Trump is suing former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton along with the creator of the infamous Steele dossier, Christopher Steel.

"The lawsuit says Clinton and ex-British spy Christopher Steele, and 30 others, carried out a plot to “weave a false narrative” that Trump was colluding with Russian actors.

"The 108-page suit states:

“ 'The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme—falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly-sensitive data sources—are so outrageous, subversive, and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison.' ". . .

Ketanji Brown Jackson should not be confirmed to the Supreme Court

Ketanji Brown Jackson should not be confirmed to the Supreme Court - American Thinker  "As an American of African descent and a great-grandson of slaves, I am certainly not opposed to the appointment of a black woman to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States.  However, I am categorically against confirming Ketanji Brown Jackson to that post.  One day, a woman of her background will sit on the highest court, but Jackson should not be the person to break that glass ceiling.  Here is why.". . .

What is a woman? Better not ask the Supreme Court - American Thinker . . ."I suspect that Jackson did this because answering the question truthfully would undermine her entrenched leftist ideological belief system; upset her supporters; and contradict the transgender dogmas that currently dominate American culture, the left, and the Democrat party.". . .

After Sen. Kennedy's Questioning, Constitutional Law Expert Reminds Us Who Really Chose KBJ (townhall.com)  . . ."As he was questioning Judge Jackson on Wednesday night, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), was discussing how "rights should be adjudicated." This led to the senator reminding that President Joe Biden wanted a justice who would read new rights into the 9th Amendment, which should be concerning, since Supreme Court justices aren't elected.

"Kennedy also quoted an op-ed from Klain in 2019 published in The Washington Post, when Klain was a lawyer in Washington, D.C. "We need to prepare for a complete reversal of the role the Supreme Court plays in our lives," the bold headline read. ". . .

. . .“Every lawyer and judge promises to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution, but she cannot uphold this oath if she believes that the Constitution and the principles of America’s foundation are racist and inherently flawed. Neither can a judge remain impartial and administer justice independently if she holds a philosophy that correcting racism requires affording privileged classes less justice than oppressed classes,” Russell said in her opening statement.". . .

‘Disqualifying’ words from Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson (nypost.com)   . . ."Democrats clearly knew that Jackson’s lack of judicial philosophy (or unwillingness to be forthcoming about her philosophy) would be a problem. So they decided to try to make it a non-issue, with several declaring that judicial philosophy either does not matter, or is not useful for deciding whether to confirm someone to sit on the highest court in the land. This is sophistry from Democrats who cared a great deal about the question when they wanted to attack Republican nominees.". . .

Mitch McConnell Stuns America with Announcement on KBJ Vote (trendingpolitics.com)  . . ."McConnell made the announcement despite going into the confirmation process with an “open mind.”

“ 'After studying the nominee’s record and watching her performance this week, I cannot and will not support Judge Jackson for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court,” McConnell said.

"The notoriously calculating McConnell has apparently read the tea leaves and decided that the Republican Party would be ill-served to strike a conciliatory tone with partisan Democrats — even over a Supreme Court nominee.". . .

Reject Ketanji Brown Jackson If confirmed, she’ll be even worse than Sotomayor and Kagan.

The gushing Cory Booker notwithstanding

Why the Senate should reject Ketanji B.rown Jackson - Washington Times

"Unless Republicans and Democrats begin to place the good of the nation above raw politics, the Senate will use a rushed process to place Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on the Supreme Court.

"We have heard that the Senate needs to make history by appointing a Black woman, even though Democrats, led by then-Sen. Joe Biden rejected former President George W. Bush’s attempts to nominate Judge Janice Rogers Brown to the D.C. Court of Appeals — placing her on a path that could have led to a Supreme Court confirmation.

"What is happening is the fulfillment of a racist political promise that candidate President Biden made to get the needed support from progressive groups. Judge Jackson’s record — not her academic pedigree — make her the wrong choice for a deeply divided and polarized nation.". . .

The American Spectator   . . ."Instead, the issue with Judge Jackson is that she is a left-wing ideologue who, if successfully confirmed by the Senate, will devote the next few decades endeavoring to move the Supreme Court far to the left. All relevant indications are that she will approach her job not like her (slightly) more pragmatic former boss, but like a leftist activist—in the mode of her possible future colleague, the midwit partisan flack Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

"Worse, Jackson, due to the outrageous race- and sex-conscious nominating process in which President Joe Biden selected her, is uniquely unfit to render equal justice under the law for legal issues affecting race and sex. Even worse, she is a proponent of critical race theory and, despite getting nominated solely due to her XX chromosomal structure, appears ignorant as to how to differentiate men from women. Worst of all, she has shown a peculiar juridical soft spot for some of society's very worst offenders—pedophiles and child pornographers.". . .

Ketanji Brown Jackson is a Trojan Horse

. . ."Instead, dwell on the exquisite irony of the moment. President Joe Biden had vowed to choose a woman of color to sit on the Supreme Court as soon as he faced the possibility of filling a vacancy on the bench. If womanhood cannot be known without the help of someone with an advanced degree in biology, preferably from a top-tier school, how did Jackson know she met the president’s criteria? Did Joe Biden ask any particular questions in the interview process to ferret out the truth of the matter? What sort of biologists would be consulted, anyway?". . .

Judge Brown is a Trojan horse, set to spill out all the weaponry of the progressives into our court of final appeal should she be approved. She will be dogmatic and anti-rational. She will view everything through the lenses of power structure and victimhood. Her work on behalf of the very worst terrorists in the entire human population and her expressed sympathies with the most horrible destroyers of human dignity (pedophiles) already predict this.

Law Schools Fall To Revolutionaries -

 The American Conservative

"Here’s a very, very powerful addition to my danger of conservative complacency post.". . .

. . .Writing on Bari Weiss’s invaluable Substack, Aaron Sibarium details the corruption of the American legal profession by wokeness. Y’all, this is a five-alarm situation. Excerpts:

"Read it all. Seriously, every word. As scholar Eric Kaufmann said over the weekend (see my link in the first graf), conservative voters and politicians have to make fighting wokeness in the culture war their No. 1 priority. If they don’t, we are going to lose our freedom. It really is that simple.

"The people who lived under totalitarianism in the Soviet bloc were the first to understand the true nature of the changes sweeping over America in this last decade. I tell their story in Live Not By Lies, and share their advice on how to resist it. If you have previously thought the idea of “soft totalitarianism” was unduly alarmist, I invite you to read Sibarium’s report and reconsider. If you are the kind of person who think that wokeness is a fad among the young, and that they’ll grow out of it, you are not only wrong, you are dangerously wrong.

"This week, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is appearing before the Senate in her Supreme Court confirmation hearings. Two years ago, in a law school lecture, she discussed Critical Race theorists who were influential in shaping her thinking. Here is a link to the text of the lecture. She also praised the fraudulent 1619 Project. Well, Critical Race Theory came up yesterday in questioning:". . .

Sen. Graham warns NATO summit will fail if ’Biden Doctrine’ is used

WATCH: Sen. Graham warns NATO summit will fail if ’Biden Doctrine’ is used | Washington Examiner   "As President Joe Biden heads to Brussels for a NATO summit, Sen. Lindsey Graham said a strong message must be sent that there will be severe consequences should Russian President Vladimir Putin decide to use chemical weapons within Ukraine.

"When asked about different U.S. presidents’ approaches to war, Graham, a South Carolina Republican, told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that Biden’s approach is not working.

“Here’s what’s not working, the ‘Biden Doctrine,’ which is to withdraw completely from Afghanistan, leave the place abandoned, give up Bagram Air Base, and allow the Taliban to be back in power 20 years after 9/11 with ISIS and al Qaeda growing in strength inside Afghanistan,” Graham said. ”He is not deterring Putin from destroying the great people of the Ukraine … He is not deterring China from being provocative in Asia, and he’s about to do a deal with the religious Nazi called the Ayatollah.”
"Graham said the NATO summit can either be “a disaster, or it can be a resounding success” depending on what kind of message Russia and China get.
“ 'If NATO will tell Putin with clarity, 'If you use chemical weapons, we will establish a no-fly zone. If you explode a nuclear device inside Ukraine, we’ll consider that an attack on NATO itself because the radiation will flow throughout Europe,'” Graham insisted. “And tell China right now, before it’s too late, that if you keep giving aid to Putin, we will sanction you, and here are the sanctions.'”. . .

Russia not taking Gen. Mark Milley's phone calls

Why I'm not taking Milley's calls either:

Monica Showalter

. . .Another theory is that Putin may now view the United States as a determined adversary bent on his downfall and not worth engaging. Russian officials bristled at Biden calling Putin a "war criminal," saying it could lead to a complete break in relations.

"It misses some of the big ones, though, one of which is the matter of contempt and how much of that the Russians have for Milley (and his wokester U.S. defense secretary, Lloyd Austin).

"After all, Milley's signature achievement has been the botched, chaotic, mal-planned, militarily disastrous U.S. pullout of Afghanistan, which left America's military reputation in ruins and effectively negated the U.S.'s decades of sacrifice in blood and treasure.  Milley is still on the job, of course, un-fired and un–drummed out of the service, so the incompetence now associated with American military leadership is unlikely to change any time soon.  Russia's military establishment had warned that the U.S. pullout plan would lead to disaster back in April 2021, and sure enough, it did.  Milley's pullout was so bad that it made the orderly Russian pullout from the country back in 1989 look positively good in comparison.

"How could the Russians respect a guy like that, or, more importantly, fear him?  Much easier to just dismiss his phone calls.". . .

"Whatever it is, we know that Milley doesn't have the pull to get his phone calls answered in Moscow.  The Post is probably right in thinking that this raises the odds of a U.S.-Russia conflict.  If so, it would be another fine mess Milley has gotten us into.  Back in the old days, countries would leap to pick up the phone when the U.S. came calling.  Today, not so much.  What an embarrassment."
