Is Fetterman’s stroke a legitimate issue? (MSNBC update)

Assuming that the signs did in fact point to Parkinson’s Disease, her election would have put a person with severely impaired logic processing behind the Resolute Desk. That was a cost that America could ill afford. FDR, on the other hand, merely had difficulty with movement. His mind, to all accounts, was fully intact. And this is why we must look at John Fetterman. He has had a significant stroke.

Is Fetterman’s stroke a legitimate issue?  . . ." In plain English, he has trouble “hearing” language and difficulty speaking. The debate with Dr. Oz made this painfully clear. Even with a teleprompter to allow him to read what was being said, he fumbled badly.

"Let’s make one thing clear. I’m not talking about the usual Democrat difficulty with “getting their message out.” Every Democrat has that impairment because the Democrats don’t have a message worth presenting. This is an irrecoverable physical injury to parts of the brain that are essential to language skills.

"A senator must have fluent language skills. If I tried to be a government official in Greece, I’d fail badly because it would all be Greek to me. (Even though I’ve studied biblical Greek.) That’s what Fetterman is facing. Every conversation, every piece of legislation, and every confrontation would be unintelligible gibberish. He would be utterly incapable of doing any of the essential tasks that fall to a senator. Gisele Fetterman, an unelected illegal alien immigrant (now citizen), would functionally be another Edith Wilson, making all the decisions. That cannot be permitted.

"Pundits who argue that a candidate’s health is off-limits forget this. Some health problems are merely physical. Others have major mental impacts, and as I noted in my Hillary videos, we can’t afford public officials who are mentally impaired.

"Just in case you haven’t noticed, just look at Joe Biden. We are all praying that America survives his incapacity."

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell lays it on THICK for Fetterman, compares him to Winston Churchill
  . . .
Fetterman’s performance was a nightmare scenario for the party and the corrupt, partisan media is pulling out all stops to spin the debacle with the narrative now being pushed that the hulking lieutenant governor’s inability to form coherent thoughts and sentences despite having a closed captioning system provided to him was a heroic effort due to his being a stroke survivor, a triumph over his disability comparable to some of western civilization’s most towering historic figures.
"MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell likened Fetterman to British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, laying it on thick with the sort of WWII rhetoric that makes gullible leftists with little real knowledge of history swoon.". . .

What's next after the Fetterman disaster?

Byron York  "WHAT'S NEXT AFTER THE FETTERMAN DISASTER? Early voting is well underway in Pennsylvania. Indeed, one reason Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman, recovering from a serious stroke, wanted to delay his debate with Republican Mehmet Oz was to bank as many early votes as possible before debate night. Given Fetterman's disastrous performance in the debate, it was a good idea. And it worked. According to the Election Project, which compiles early voting figures from around the country, 685,289 Pennsylvanians cast their ballots before the debate. Of those, 499,396 were registered Democrats. The Fetterman campaign wanted to get its team to the polls before what was likely to be a discouraging debate.

The debate turned out to be, as many observed, painful to watch. Fetterman's recovery from his May stroke has clearly not progressed to the point where he can successfully take part in a traditional debate — that is, in one of the traditional events of a campaign. The day before the debate, his campaign team sent a memo to reporters to prepare them for "awkward pauses, missing some words, and mushing other words together" when Fetterman took the stage. The idea was to lower expectations and not have the press express surprise when Fetterman had difficulty communicating.

But it was much worse than that. At times, Fetterman struggled to make even a simple point. To cite one example: The struggle was particularly apparent when he tried to execute a classic politician's flip-flop on fracking. The technique of fracking is hugely important to the oil and gas industry in Pennsylvania, which means it is hugely important to Pennsylvania as a whole. But the debate moderators pointed out that in May 2018, not all that long ago, Fetterman said, "I don't support fracking. I never have.". . .

THE VIEW HOSTS ACCUSE DR. OZ OF BULLYING STROKE VICTIM JOHN FETTERMAN

Hemingway: Fetterman’s Wife And Handlers Should Be Ashamed Of What They’re Doing To Him  “I am actually appalled at the people around Fetterman that they did not protect him or love him more. He has family members. If this had happened to me, I would pray that the people around me would love me enough to not put me through this. This is very bad for them, for the Democrat Party, and it’s an embarrassment to the people of Pennsylvania. They deserve far better than this,” Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway said on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle.”

‘Ableism’ Rears Its Head in Pennsylvania – Lincoln Institute   "John Fetterman obviously is not cognitively fit for the U.S. Senate."

The screwy little definition box that pops up via Google informs the world, “ableism: discrimination in favor of able-bodied people.” But any good progressive will tell you that that doesn’t go far enough. No, it never does.

. . ."Leave it to a liberal, however, to turn such obvious observations — universally coming from the Right and the Left — into a form of bigotry. To wit, Liz Plank of MSNBC remonstrated, “[W]hen your side is so bad you have to rely on ableism to win.”

"That was the sum Twitter total of what Plank wrote. She seemed to imply that Republicans must rely on “ableism” to win this Senate seat. It’s a strange statement. After all, the Republican nominee is perfectly able, whereas the Democratic nominee is clearly not able. Fetterman’s obvious inability should not constitute “ableism” on the part of Republicans.". . .

NHS Warning: Many "Trans" Kids Merely Going Through A "Phase"

Zero Hedge  via Revolver    . . ."A variety of people have long warned that many or most of these children are simply going through a phase -- encouraged by a woke-hijacked society gone mad -- and that doctors and parents shouldn't be so quick to plunge into name changes, restroom changes, hormone treatments and surgeries.

"People warning about the trend have been vilified as intolerant bigots. Now, however, the UK's NHS is putting forth very much the same cautions. As with those whose once-taboo stances against vaccine mandates and lockdowns have now been vindicated, those who've been right all along about the gender-transition mania shouldn't expect any apologies."

“Gentle Giant” — The Hot New Media Term for Violent Criminal

Revolver  . . ."Floyd’s family may have cared about him so little they abandoned his personal possessions after his death, but now they are very concerned about the George Floyd myth, or at least they money they can make by defending it.

"And the George Floyd myth, as it is repeated over and over and over, takes a very specific form: Last summer, the Ad Council put out an ad centered on a phrase you have probably head before. Maybe you’ve heard it twice. Or ten times. Or a hundred.". . .

. . ."Well, you probably did expect it, actually. Most people have been convinced by the media’s portrayal of Floyd that he was big and benign; humongous and harmless; towering and tame. Well, except for that time he broke into a woman’s home and pointed a gun at her stomach while his friends looked for stuff to rob. Or that time he committed armed robbery in Houston". . .

A few good moments for Conservatives (not found on CNN and MSNBC)

AZ Poll: GOP’s Kari Lake Blows Governor’s Race Wide Open, Leads Hobbs by 11  "Republican Kari Lake has taken a commanding double-digit lead in Arizona’s gubernatorial race, while GOP candidate Blake Masters is neck and neck with Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) in the U.S. Senate contest, according to a poll. ". . .

Even one from Al Sharpton! ‘Latte Liberals’: Al Sharpton Rips Democrats For Ignoring Voters’ Concerns With Crime   . . ." 'Whenever the issue of crime comes up, as Jim said, sometimes Democratic candidates worry too much about what their base says, and you will have ‘woke’ people saying, oh, if you’re talking about crime, well, my gosh, you’re racist,” Scarborough said Wednesday. “Or there’s a racial component every time a politician talks about crime. Rev, you’ve been saying all along that’s not the case. You’ve been saying that when you go and talk to people, crime’s at the top of their list of things that they’re concerned about.”

"Scarborough warned that Democrats could face defeat in the Nov. 8 midterm elections on Oct. 14 if they did not address crime and criticized left-wing prosecutors like Krasner Friday morning.". . .

BOOM: Ted Cruz ROASTS “The View”, Calls Out Whoopi Goldberg  . . ."In the context of January 6th, Whoopi Goldberg emphatically stated, “[Democrats] don’t go and don’t storm.  We don’t try to change…we don’t do that.”  (I'm guessing at this point the studio applause machine lit up on extra bright}

"To which Cruz calls out the obvious by replying, “Did I miss an entire year of Antifa riots where cities across this country were burning.”

"It’s so ridiculous how the Dems will play up the idea that Republicans are trying to actively destroy the country while, apparently, employing cognitive dissonance and forgetting what the radical left did to so many cities across the country in 2020.". . .

Never-Before-Seen-Footage – Biden Makes His Classic Predator Move On A Toddler And Sniffs Him On The Back

Defiant America   "President Joe Biden has a pattern of questionable behavior toward women. His reputation is so robust, the incidents so well-documented that they have earned him the longtime nickname of “Uncle Joe” (for his penchant for using folksy, grandfatherly language even with his peers), with the occasional addition of “Creepy” (for routinely invading women’s personal spaces).
"How much does behavior like this really matter to voters? We wanted to find out. U.K.-based market research and data analytics firm YouGov conducted an official online poll of over 1,200 people, weighted to represent U.S. adults, to try and find out what the hell people — not just us, and not just women — really think about things like sniffing a woman’s hair in a professional context. As it turns out, they really don’t like it.
"A whopping 77 percent of those polled think it is completely unacceptable for a male politican to come up behind a woman to sniff her hair. And despite the narrative that older Americans are more likely to excuse behavior like this, 85 percent of Baby Boomers said they think it is completely unacceptable. That’s 15 percent more than millennials.". . .

The Switcheroos of the Two Parties

 Victor Davis Hanson

Third, the real rulers of the party are the hyper-rich of Big Tech, Wall Street, Hollywood, the corporate boardroom, the administrative state, the media, and the legal world. Almost all these institutions have lost public confidence and poll miserably. Their cocooned leaders are never subject to the ramifications of their own often unworkable policies.

Another Democrat scold

"Our two parties have both changed, and that explains why one will win, and one lose in the midterm elections. The old Democrats have faded away after being overwhelmed by radicals and socialists.Moderates who once embraced former President Bill Clinton's opportunistic "third way" are now either irrelevant or nonexistent.Once considered too wacky and socialist to be taken seriously, Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the performance-art "squad," the radicals of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and her hard progressive wing are today's Democratic Party kingpins. The alienating radicals of Antifa and Black Lives Matter often serve as the new party's shock troops on the streets. They opportunistically appear to push the party to embrace no-bail laws, defunding the police, and the destruction of the fossil fuel industry.Since none of those positions poll even close to 50 percent with the public, the Democrats routinely either slur their opponents as racists, nativists, and climate denialists or obsess on another Trump psychodrama distraction from the Russia collusion hoax to the Mar-a-Lago raid.". . .

Kayleigh McEnany and Fox News Annihilate Competition, Boast More Viewers Than CNN and MSNBC Combined

There’s also an argument to be made that, at the end of the day, people are simply more interested in truth and transparency and not just another network carrying the Biden administration’s proverbial water.   Claire O'Hare

AnalyzingAmerica.org   "Fox News has control over the airwaves once again. Fox News is drawing more viewers than its competitors.

“Outnumbered, a daily show has about 2 million viewers per day. Kayleigh McEnany and Harris Faulkner host the show.

"McEnany, a former White House press secretary, is the new addition as a full-time co-host.

"During that same time slot, CNN and MSNBC’s showings reported 638,000 and 685,000 viewers, while “Outnumbered” had 1.96 million viewers.

"The rating charts show that the age group is 24-54. In that group, McEnany brought in the most viewers, 256,000 viewers.

"CNN and MSNBC combined had less than 200,000 viewers. . .

Former Top Swimmer Rips Into Biden For Interview With Transgender Activist Who Called for Public to "normalize" Women Having Visible "bulges" in Their Crotch Area

"Womanhood is not, and should not, be a mental disorder suffered by men.” -Riley Gaines

100%FedUp  "Trans activist Dylan Mulvaney, a 25-year-old biological male from San Diego, was recently invited to the White House for an interview with Joe Biden. In the interview, Biden and Mulvaney discussed trans rights, abortion rights, climate change, criminal legal reform, gun legislation, and economic stability.

"Mulvaney has been documenting their transition  into “girlhood” on social media in a video series called “Days of Girlhood.” Mulvaney, who less than a year ago identified as a man, is now so celebrated as a female that they get to go to meet the President of the United States.". . .

Report: Migrant Caravans Are Preparing To Flood The US Border Ahead Of Midterms…

Via Daily Caller:

Guatemala’s interior minister has intelligence that large caravans of migrants will try to get to the U.S. in anticipation of the midterm elections, he said in an exclusive sit-down interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Migrants, who believe the midterm elections could end with Republicans taking back control of Congress, are heading to the U.S. border in large caravans, Guatemalan Interior Minister Napoleon Barrientos told the DCNF. The migrants think that they have a short window to make the trek because it may not be as easy to immigrate to the U.S. after the midterm elections, with Republican lawmakers promising to beef up border security and tighten oversight.

Dems to Voters: Why Do You Care About Crime?

But for Democrats, protecting New Yorkers from violent attack is not the goal of law enforcement. The main objective of the criminal justice system is to ensure that it does not "worsen racial disparities," as explained by The New York Times' Mara Gay.

Ann Coulter   "Last week in New York City, career criminal Argenis Rivera punched a woman who was pushing her 2-year-old in a stroller, then began choking her, screaming that she was a "white bitch." He let go only to attack another woman sitting on a bench, reading -- apparently, also a "white bitch" -- until he was scared off by a man with two dogs who came to the women's rescue.

"This happened at around 1 p.m. in Hudson River Park, a nice area.

"A few months earlier, Rivera had been arrested for punching a doorman in midtown Manhattan, the latest of about a dozen arrests. "But under the law, he was immediately released.

"In February, Frank Abrokwa, 37, was arrested for the 45th time. (Thanks, U.S. immigration officials! Another job well done.) Among Abrokwa's most recent arrests:

-- On Jan. 7, he was arrested for hitting a 30-year-old man, a complete stranger, on a subway platform. Released without bail.

-- On Feb. 5, he was arrested for punching a 53-year-old man, also a stranger, at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Released without bail.

-- On Feb. 21, he was arrested for smashing his own feces into a woman's face as she sat in a subway station. Released without bail.

-- On Feb. 22 -- the very next day! -- he was arrested for shoplifting at a hardware store and threatening employees with a screwdriver. Released without bail.

"All in all, New York's no-bail law is working great! The law is called "no bail" but really means "no jail, not ever, no matter how many times you're arrested."

"How did such a dangerous policy become law? It seems that in 2020, Democrats finally gained total control of state government, the first time that's happened since World War II, except for a single year in 1964.

"And what was the first item on the Democrats' agenda, literally the moment after they were sworn in? Crack down on Wall Street? Fill potholes and creaking bridges?

"NO! They passed a law to ensure that no criminal ever spends a night in jail!". . .

"If that's what you like, watch sports. But if you don't want criminals controlling the streets, destroying neighborhoods and committing violent crimes in parks and subway stations, please vote Republican on Nov. 8."  A.C.

Fetterman Faces Fallout From Disastrous Debate: ‘Worst Performance By Any Candidate I Have Ever Seen’

 Daily Wire

. . ."The fallout from the debate was seen in betting markets, on cable news, and on social media with pundits with various views noting that Fetterman’s obvious health concerns will likely end up being a major factor in the outcome of the race.

“ 'Even with the moderators constantly cutting Fetterman off to protect him from himself, there is nothing the media can do to spin this debate,” political strategist Andrew Surabian tweeted. “I have never seen someone so obviously mentally/physically unfit to serve in office than John Fetterman.”

"PR executive Josh Holmes wrote: “I’ve honestly never seen anything like this. The partisanship required to vote for Fetterman at this point should be studied in a lab.' ”. . .
