Joe Scarborough declares, but remember, he is MSNBC

Rand Paul's Response to Joe Scarborough's 'It's a Scam' Criticism of DOGE Was Chef's Kiss  "Naturally, DOGE has caught the attention of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), one of the precious few from either chamber who remains steadfast in wanting to cut the size and scope of government while also making sure to hold its many bad-faith actors responsible and accountable.

"Paul, who previously has said "I’m all in and will do anything I can to help" make DOGE work, appeared on Fox News Thursday where he was shown a clip of "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough ranting about how DOGE was allegedly a "scam" and claiming that the only thing they'd be able to cut was social security and Medicare.

"The Senator's response was priceless:"

"Rand Paul obliterates MSNBC clown Joe Scarborough for calling DOGE a 'scam' — "Oh, poor Joe Scarborough. I remember when he was a conservative."
"LMAO. This is epic. “There was a time when he actually was a thoughtful person, but no longer."

If you read or heard that Trump would shoot or jail opposition, here is where you probably got that "information":  But it's the free-thinking, swing voters the Democrats are about to fear. They have learned CNN and MSNBC are fib factories, dedicated to spewing lies to defend the Marxists masquerading as Democrats.  "They've already begun "reporting" that Trump will seek "vengeance" on his political foes, the same swamp wigglers who have been trying to bankrupt, imprison, and perhaps even kill Trump for years. Thus, the tyrants will become the victims."

"Every member of the Biden family who had bribe money sent to their bank accounts is likely to find get-out-of-jail-free pardons under his Christmas tree. Leftoids will cheer on their Marxist leaders for getting away with crimes few other families could, but rational people will ask, "Why do nine members of the Biden family need to be pardoned?" . . .

"Trump's Election Day win didn't save our Republic; it gave us the fitting we needed to FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

Read the facts and weep.

Just left the ⁦DOGE meeting with ⁦Elon Musk ⁩and ⁦Vivek Ramaswamy ⁩and it’s clear to me that the problem is going to be the members in that room.

National Black Church Org Puts Sharpton and MSNBC on Notice: The Kamala Donation Scandal Isn't Going Away

 Sister Toldjah
"In the aftermath of the report, MSNBC denied knowing anything about the donations and refused to say whether it would take action after finding out about it despite also being criticized by groups like The Society of Professional Journalists."

"Just days after the election when media outlets and Democrat strategists were poring through the Kamala Harris campaign's finance records to see how much of the $1 billion in donations received were wasted, among the shady things discovered were two donations totaling $500,000 to Al Sharpton's non-profit group, the National Action Network (NAN).

"The donations from the Harris campaign, according to a Free Beacon report at the time, were made on Sept. 5th and Oct. 1st. Just two days after the October donation to NAN, MSNBC aired a video on Sharpton's show featuring Harris sharing a happy birthday greeting, and calling him "a voice of truth, a voice of conscience."

"Two weeks later, he and Harris sat down for a chummy interview, where he asked questions that "lined up closely with messages that Harris sought to highlight on the campaign trail." Missing during their back-and-forth exchange was full disclosure from Sharpton about the donations.

"In the aftermath of the report, MSNBC denied knowing anything about the donations and refused to say whether it would take action after finding out about it despite also being criticized by groups like The Society of Professional Journalists.

"Though MSNBC and Sharpton appear to want to sweep this story under the rug, it's not going anywhere thanks in part to a national black church group that is demanding the struggling network suspend Sharpton pending an investigation, saying integrity matters and that what he did makes the media and the black church look bad." . . .

Al Sharpton Hears About It After Telling Black Trump Supporters They Have 'No Shame'

Beware the MSNBC Devil woman

. . ."Had she done even some of the work a journalist is supposed to do – and told some of the other side of the story – we could perhaps give her the benefit of the doubt and accept that she inadvertently missed something. That it wasn’t a deliberate omission. But she omitted everything that would have told the other side of the story.

"There is a reason why journalism – as it is practiced by the “mainstream” media – is regarded with even more contempt than Congress by many Americans. It is because journalism has transitioned – overtly – into peddling deliberately one-sided misinformation, to borrow a term these “journalists” love to apply to anyone who dares to question their lies.

" 'I experienced this personally at the hands of Rachel Maddow, who doesn’t even pretend to present the facts – from both sides – before she lies about one side. Daniel Penny trial: Alvin Bragg is a menace to our society and must GO

NY Post

. . ."Bragg’s approach starting with his infamous “Day One” memo — barring staff from prosecuting a wide range of offenses and limiting the sentences they seek — has been objectively pro-criminal. He’s a menace, and the city needs to be done with him.

"As the Danny Penny jury deliberates, this farce of a trial has made one thing abundantly plain: Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg needs to go.

"This case never should have gone to court.

"The prosecution’s own witnesses proved that every rational person in that subway car — veterans of the subway system — feared for their lives after Jordan Neely burst through the doors and began ranting death threats as he half-lunged at other straphangers.

"Penny heroically acted to protect them.

"It’s a tragedy that Neely wound up dead, but Penny was far from the only author of that tragedy: The failure to address his severe schizophrenia illness (even after he skipped early, just two months before the fatal day, out of treatment mandated after a 2021 assault) and his compromised physical health, including the synthetic marijuana in his system at time of death, all played a role.

"The city medical examiner didn’t even wait for the toxicology report before declaring a homicide — on the basis of watching the videos alone.

"Yet Bragg, playing to race-obsessed “activists,” brought charges of second-degree manslaughter — plus, as “insurance” in hopes the jury would agree on a lesser charge, negligent homicide.

"Even if Penny’s found innocent on all charges, his ordeal still sends a grim message to all New Yorkers remains: Don’t think about standing up to protect the innocent." . . .

It finally dawns on Clooney that his BFF Obama made him his patsy -report

Monica Showalter  "It's not easy being George Clooney these days.

"The realization has finally hit him that Obama, his best friend forever, used him for a patsy in the recent election.

"First, he had him hold a fundraiser for Joe Biden, where he could clearly see Joe's senility, and then he had Clooney write the editorial for the New York Times calling on Democrats to get that guy out of there. Now that the electoral disaster has happened for the Democrats as a result, Obama has left Clooney holding the bag.

"Nick Arama at Red State writes:

According to a new report from Radar Online, Clooney "is furious with Obama for disappearing after the election disaster and leaving him holding the bag for pushing the plan with his Hollywood pals," a showbiz insider said.

A "political mole" told Radar it was Barack Obama who asked Clooney to call for Biden to step aside, "fearing fallout if he did it himself."

"Obama and Clooney have been tight for years, and George became Barack's surrogate in leading the charge for Joe to step away", explained the source. "Barack knew he would look like a traitor if he publicly called for Joe to be cut loose. And now, he's trying to walk away from it all.

"George feels duped and vows he's not going to be anyone's political water boy anymore."

"Doesn't matter, George. You're still the waterboy. Obama is the hands-off, grand old man of the Democrat party who got you to be the public dupe; his hands are clean, can't trace a thing to him. But you, Clooney? You'll always do as you're told because that's what you did for Obama. You're Obama's designated dupe now, and with the disaster for Democrats as a result, too bad about your reputation." . . .

The Pardon May Not Be Quite the Magic Bullet It Seems

 Legal Insurrection

According to Reuters, if Hunter is called to testify before the House of Representatives or the DOJ about the Biden family business dealings, the fact that he was pardoned “could limit his ability to invoke” his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

"Many Americans were outraged on Sunday after learning that President Joe Biden had issued a sweeping pardon to his son, Hunter. This decision came despite repeated public denials from both Biden and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Hunter, who faced convictions on three gun-related charges and a guilty plea for tax evasion, was on the brink of near-certain incarceration. The pardon effectively wiped the slate clean. Yet, as with most complex matters, it is not without limitations.

"During a Monday night panel on Fox News’ Hannity, investigative journalist John Solomon, editor of Just the News, and Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett discussed the ongoing risks facing Hunter and the Biden family.

“ 'Hunter’s pardon does not prevent the Department of Justice from pursuing fraud charges against him,” Solomon explained. Drawing a comparison, he noted how O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in a criminal trial but was later found liable for their wrongful deaths in a civil suit, and ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages.

"Solomon said, “You can’t bring criminal charges against Hunter Biden, but there’s nothing that prevents the Trump Justice Department from filing a fraud case and seeking civil remedy and taking money from him and other members of the family on allegations that they reported false information. They committed fraud. Those are things that are still on the table. A pardon doesn’t protect you from civil actions.”

“ 'He no longer will be able to deny or say ‘I don’t want to testify in any proceedings because I invoke my Fifth Amendment right against incrimination.’ The president took that away from him, so he’s going to have to testify if he’s compelled.” . . .

Trump will reverse Biden’s Israel delusions and bring an era of Mideast peace

 Caroline Glick

"Biden and his team have blocked Israel from attacking Iran’s nuclear installations, arguing that such a strike will cause a regional war that will force direct US military involvement. Trump recognizes that by attacking Iran’s nuclear installations, Israel will end the regional war that has been raging for 400 days — and enable the United States to stay out of the hostilities."

"On Sunday, Israel reportedly killed Hezbollah terror boss Ali Musa Daqduq in Syria, bringing a measure of justice to the US military’s Iraq war veterans.

"In 2007, Daqduq and his underlings infiltrated a US base in Karbala, Iraq, killing one soldier and kidnapping — and later brutally executing — four more. CENTCOM sources on Monday expressed confidence that Daqduq had in fact been slain.

"Israeli forces have killed hundreds of terrorists with American blood on their hands since Iran launched its seven-front war against the Jewish state last year.

"Yet their achievements have made President Biden and his advisers uncomfortable — because they expose the truth that the Biden team has refused to countenance.

"Israel’s enemies are America’s enemies. And when Israel defeats its enemies, America wins.

"Biden and his team are not alone in their discomfort. For over 30 years, the US foreign policy establishment produced one failed policy after another, because its members collectively refused to reconcile themselves to the fact that Israel is America’s greatest ally in the Middle East.

"Instead, they all insisted that Israel is the source of regional instability and that the only way to forge peace was for Israel to appease its enemies — all of whom seek its annihilation.

"Since that is a self-evidently impossible goal, all of those efforts failed.

"Cycles of US-induced appeasement, instability, terror and war led to further US-induced appeasement, and the pattern circled on and on and on.

"Donald Trump is the only US president in the past 30 years who insisted that reality be his guide.

"His willingness to recognize Israel as America’s greatest regional ally enabled him to see that the more powerful Israel is, the less America has to do. Conversely, the weaker Israel is, the more America has to do." . . .

. . ."Glick was born in Houston, TX and grew up in Chicago, IL. She moved to Israel in 1991, two weeks after receiving her BA in Political Science from Columbia University. She joined the Israel Defense Forces that summer and served as an officer for five and a half years." . . .

MSNBC's Joy Reid takes issue with ‘gangster’ Trump pushing Hamas to release US hostages

. . ."After complaining about Trump “muscling other countries” like Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa over tariffs, Reid went on to snark about how the president-elect is “demanding Hamas release all hostages being held in Gaza before his inauguration, or there will be, ‘all hell to pay in the Middle East.’” Evidently, the MSNBC host would rather the hostages continue to be held even longer." . . .

Gavin Newsom announces plan to renew statewide EV rebates, but moves to exclude Elon Musk’s Tesla

 Olivia Murray

"Needless to say, Trump is right to eliminate them, and Newsom is wrong to reimplement them."

"According to a report from GuruFocus and shared via Yahoo News, California governor Gavin Newsom recently announced his intention to renew statewide electric car rebates if President Trump does in fact revoke the $7,500 federal tax credit—but Elon Musk’s Tesla vehicles won’t be eligible.

"Why you might ask? Well, Newsom claims the preclusion is a strategic effort to encourage “rivalry” and competition in the market, but the obvious explanation seems like political punishment.

"First of all, since when has Newsom ever cared about encouraging market rivalries and competition? Just take a look at what his brand of progressivism has done to the insurance markets in California, both health and property. What about the time that he used his political weight to issue Covid-19 lockdown diktats, but made sure the winery in which he had a financial stake was exempt, remaining open and making money? PlumpJack Winery sure had quite an unfair advantage in the vineyard business for a time.

"Secondly, the answer to market rivalry and competition means getting the government out of private companies’ business; it doesn’t mean handicapping one company so the inferior others can catch up—that’s not how it’s supposed to work. In fact, it’s just more socialism—fostering an environment in which everyone can fail equally. Only the government would target a company that’s doing well on its own and seek to undermine its in-the-lead position.

"But Newsom has a history of abusing his position. As I mentioned above, PlumpJack Winery, but then there was also the time that he signed the new minimum wage law that included a very strange and obscure exemption for restaurants owned by one of Newsom’s biggest donors, and now, I can’t help but think that he’s punishing Musk for Musk’s foray into and support of the MAGA movement." . . .

What sort of legacy does Joe Biden have to ‘tarnish’?

I would add to Biden's legacy his Freedom Hall speech, his State of the Union address, and his Democrat Convention speech, all of which promoted the desire for someone to assassinate Donald Trump. Who of us has not been moved or sickened at the sight of Biden's face, twisted in bitter hatred of the man whose very existence puts him to shame. Tunnel Dweller

Jack Hellner

"The dishonest media, who hid the obvious mental decline of Biden for years, now act shocked that Biden pardoned his son. They act as if it is rare for a congenital liar like Biden to lie."

. . ."It is clear that Joe Biden, whose mind is shot, did not write the language in this pardon.  He didn’t come up with the blanket pardon for ten years to cover the kickbacks.  It looks to me as though Hunter’s attorneys wrote the pardon to cover his crimes as a foreign agent and other crimes he may have committed.  It is pathetic to give Hunter a blanket pardon.

"As for Biden’s legacy:

Stealing classified documents for decades?

Getting almost all foreign policy decisions wrong, according to Robert Gates?

The Afghanistan disaster?

Open borders that let in criminals and terrorists?  Losing over 300,000 children?  Making cartels rich?

High inflation that destroyed the poor and the middle class?

Firing people who chose not to take a vaccine?

Keeping schools closed at the behest of political supporters?

Destroying women’s sports?

Dictatorially and unconstitutionally paying off hundreds of billions in student loans?

Building up the finances of Iran and Russia so they can finance wars and terrorism?

Continually lying about what Trump said in Charlottesville to gin up racial hate and division?

Wasting all the money on worthless DIE?

"I would challenge anyone to come up with a list of domestic and foreign accomplishments of Biden that supposedly give him a good legacy.  I can’t think of any."

Democrats Fear Worst POTUS Ever Tarnishes His Legacy with Hunter Pardon

"You think I'm kidding, but I'm not. Joe Biden, the president who was elected to return the country to normalcy but failed about as miserably and completely in that goal as a human being can, put a coda on his disastrous presidency by pardoning his son for everything Hunter did or thought about doing for an 11-year period. And Democrats, still reeling from losing the election three weeks ago, are just now beginning to realize the utter destruction to their movement the 46th president has wrought.
"A neutral presidential historian would list as a blight on his legacy Joe Biden's calamitous withdrawal from Afghanistan, condemning generations of Afghani women who had just begun to learn how to read and write, and vote, back to the burqa and a life of servitude under Sharia Law. Biden's actions got 13 American servicemen and women killed needlessly, and led to tens of thousands of Afghanis who were our allies during our 20-year war being disappeared and murdered by the Taliban.

"Historians might view harshly Joe Biden's lifting of sanctions on Iran, funneling money back to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps which in turn led to the rearming and training of Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran's resurgence, due directly to the change in policy of Joe Biden, led to the October 7th attacks in Israel that reignited the war in the Middle East. There are still four Americans being held hostage by Hamas as a consequence of that attack that Joe Biden has as of yet failed to rescue or negotiate for their release." ...

Pardon Fallout: A Visibly Shaken Chuck Todd Turns on Joe and Jill Biden in Must-Watch Moment

. . ."You read the Hallie Biden transcript, and that’s Beau’s widow. And essentially he turned her into a crack addict. And this was all happening in 2017, 2018. And Joe and Jill Biden were so concerned about their family that they decided to run for president.

"I just - so when you talk about the word 'selfish,' it’s almost like the word doesn’t, I mean, their decision to run for president put the entire Democratic Party and the United States of America in the position that it’s in now.'" . . .

Trudeau butts heads with President Trump. the non-Biden

. . ."'Trudeau doesn’t seem to have realized, however, the implications of the fact that Trump is not a fellow socialist internationalist. . . ."

Trudeau Tells Trump Canada Wouldn’t Survive His Tariff, and Trump’s Response Is Priceless   "Canada’s vapid and callow Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made an emergency trip to Mar-a-Lago Friday to see the president-elect. Trudeau was thoroughly alarmed over Trump’s threat to impose a 25% tariff on Canada (as well as Mexico) if they don't do anything to stop the flow of illegal migrants and drugs into the United States. Trudeau was clearly hoping to talk some socialist internationalist sense into Bad Orange Man, but instead, the vacant-faced Canadian authoritarian got a response that was pure Trump, and revealed once again how deeply Trump holds his America-First principles.

"Fox News reported Monday that Trump has called his meeting with the vacuous and childlike Canadian leader "very productive," but apparently not in the way that Canada’s most prominent Swiftie had hoped it would be. The atmosphere was convivial, with the two men “nibbling on crab cocktail and slurping down oysters” as they discussed “the issues of tariffs, border security and trade deficits.” Yet for all the superficial chumminess of the affair, Trump remained focused on what he wanted from Canada: “While cordial and welcoming,” he was “very direct when it came to what he wants from his counterpart to the North.”

"Trump reportedly told Trudeau that “Canada has failed the U.S. border by allowing large amounts of drugs and people across the border, including illegal immigrants from over 70 different countries.” The once-and-future president “became more animated when it came to the U.S. trade deficit with Canada, which he estimated to be more than $100 billion,” and told his shallow Canadian counterpart that “if Canada cannot fix the border issues and trade deficit, he will levy a 25% tariff on all Canadian goods on day one when he returns to office.”

"That was when Trudeau started whining and claiming victimhood status. After all, what else would you expect a leftist to do? Trudeau knows that playing the victim is the pathway to fame, favor, and fortune on the left, and apparently, he assumed this to be a universal tendency. So he told Trump, probably with tears glistening in eyes, that he just couldn’t impose such a tariff “because it would kill the Canadian economy completely.” There is nothing in the available reports about Trudeau offering to do anything about stopping the flow of migrants and drugs over the border. He just wanted Trump to withdraw his threat for nothing, out of his concern for the well-being of Canada." . . .

Newsom to ‘Trump-Proof’ California at Special Session

 RTM

“Californians have made it clear: affordability is their top concern. Yet, even with the massive deficit he created, Gov. Newsom wants to hand his attorney general a blank check to wage endless battles against the federal government — while our own state is on fire, both literally and metaphorically,” said Jones.

"California Governor Gavin Newsom is set to convene a special emergency session of the state legislature on Monday, proposing a hefty $25 million legal defense fund aimed at “Trump-proofing” the Golden State. This move comes in anticipation of potential policy clashes with President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration.

"Newsom stated that California “is a tent pole of the country… protecting and investing in rights and freedoms for all people.”He emphasized the state’s willingness to work with the new administration but added a warning.

“ 'But when there is overreach, when lives are threatened, when rights and freedoms are targeted, we will take action. And that is exactly what this special session is about – setting this state up for success, regardless of who is in the White House,” said Newsom, per Fox News.

"The proposed legislation, expected to be introduced in the coming weeks, aims to bolster the state’s justice department. With a Democratic majority in the legislature, officials anticipate the bill will become law before Inauguration Day on Jan. 20." . . .
