Democratic Senator Sure Looks Like He's Asking for Violence Against Trump, Musk

Tom Knighton

"I suspect those who heed Markey's words as an invitation to violence are going to have a very bad time. That blood will also be on Markey's hands."

"The American Revolution wasn't exactly a love fest. We didn't talk our way into independence. We shot red coats in the face. We tried to talk, of course, but the British weren't interested in listening, so we did what we had to do.

"The American Civil War was a fight to end slavery and preserve the nation. It was a violent fight. Yankees and Rebs shot each other and destroyed entire cities, and in the end, the task was accomplished.

"So when someone like Sen. Ed Markey invokes those two wars as "revolutions" and then calls for a new one, one has every right to believe violence is, at a minimum, not off the table.

"And that's exactly what Markey did.

Standing outside in snow-covered Boston with a bullhorn adorned with leftist stickers, including one saying "Black Lives Matter," the senator spoke about the start of the American Revolution, and other similar "revolutions," including one against Trump and Musk. "This is the city of revolutionaries, from the American Revolution, to create checks and balances in the United States Constitution so that we did not have a dictator, a king, the way those way those colonists were living under it!" The crowd could be heard agreeing enthusiastically.

"And they fought, all along Massachusetts Avenue, all coming out, the minutemen and women to say, 'no taxation without representation!'" As Markey continued, his remarks were momentarily drowned out by cheers from the crowd. "The American Revolution started here," he went on to remind. "The revolution of abolitionism started here, the revolution of the suffragette movement started here, the revolution of same-sex marriage started here, the revolution against the war in Vietnam started here, the revolution against Donald Trump and Elon Musk, it starts here," the senator emphasized.

California Eyes Takeover of Oil Refineries

The American Spectator; "In its latest move to echo Venezuela, California’s energy commission touts government control of the state’s once-booming petroleum industry."

“Running a refinery requires expertise, efficiency, and adaptability — qualities not typically associated with government-run enterprises.”

"Fresh on the heels of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s emergency legislative session that blamed corporate greed and price gouging for the state’s absurdly high gasoline prices, the state is seriously considering a government takeover of the state’s refineries. I kid you not.

"If you think gas prices are high under the state’s absurdly regulated market-based system, just imagine what they’ll be under this scenario. California’s leaders don’t want us driving anyway, so then they could just raise prices at will — rather than indirectly through taxes and regulations — and force us into short-range electric vehicles. And California isn’t exactly known for efficiently operating anything. But at least oil refinery workers will get great pensions.

"This possibility isn’t from the musings of paranoid conservatives.

“ 'Russia. China. Venezuela. Iran. More than a dozen countries make gasoline at state-owned refineries. Could California be next on the list?” asked the Los Angeles Times in an article this week. “California policymakers are considering state ownership of one or more oil refineries, one item on a list of options presented by the California Energy Commission to ensure steady gas supplies as oil companies pull back from the refinery business in the state.”

"Right after that special session resulted in the passage of a pointless and symbolic new law forcing refineries to maintain larger oil reserves, Phillips 66 announced its plan to shutter its Los Angeles operations and eliminate a total of 900 jobs (employees and contractors). “With the long-term sustainability of our Los Angeles Refinery uncertain and affected by market dynamics, we are working with leading land development firms to evaluate the future use of our unique and strategically located properties,” the company’s CEO said.

"In August, Chevron — a company that has operated continually in California since 1879 — announced that it would move its corporate headquarters to Texas. California officials offered snarky responses. A spokesperson for Gavin Newsom said the governor wasn’t surprised and that “We’re proud of California’s place as the leading creator of clean energy jobs — a critical part of our diverse, innovative and vibrant economy.” Blah, blah, blah.

Toxic RINO Susan Collins Is a “NO” on Kash Patel, Trashes Him Ahead of Confirmation Vote

 The Gateway Pundit

Susan Collins had no problem confirming Joe Biden’s radical political nominees. In fact, Collins is the top aisle-crosser and brags about her breaking the ranks to help the Democrats.

Toxic RINO Senator Susan Collins (ME) on Thursday morning announced she is a “no” vote on Kash Patel.
"The Senate will vote to confirm Kash Patel as FBI Director on Thursday. Senator Collins came out against Kash Patel just hours before the vote.
"Senator Collins said her decision to vote against Kash Patel comes after a flood of firings and resignations at the Justice Department.
“The nomination of Kash Patel to serve as Director of the FBI comes to the Senate against the backdrop of recent personnel actions at the Department of Justice, including the resignations of several career federal prosecutors who felt they were being instructed to act in a manner inconsistent with their ethical obligations,” Susan Collins said. “In addition, a questionnaire has been sent to thousands of FBI employees regarding their involvement
"Collins said she will voting ‘no’ on Patel’s confirmation because of his “politically charged statements.”
" 'In this context, there is a compelling need for an FBI Director who is decidedly apolitical. While Mr. Patel has had 16 years of dedicated public service, his time over the past four years has been characterized by high profile and aggressive political activity. Mr. Patel has made numerous politically charged statements in his book and elsewhere discrediting the work of the FBI, the very institution he has been nominated to lead. These statements, in conjunction with the questionnaire sent to thousands of FBI employees, cast doubt on Mr. Patel’s ability to advance the FBI’s law enforcement mission in a way that is free from the appearance of political motivation.” . . .

Did You See How Hamas Returned the Remains of the Murdered Bibas Children?

 Townhall

"ISRAEL has demanded Hamas thugs face "hell" after they put on a twisted parade using the locked coffins of four killed hostages. The remains of the youngest Israeli hostage Kfir, 2, his mum Shiri, 33 and older brother Ariel, 5 were among those released today." . . .Youtube

Even I, who said Hamas was evil, never imagined it would parade the body of the Bibas children out in a public spectacle, in mislabeled coffins with locks that don’t open. pic.twitter.com/8ZBe1SW9qR

— Eylon Levy (@EylonALevy) February 20, 2025

style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1rem; margin-top: 0px;">"The murdered hostages included a woman and her two young children and an elderly journalist. The victims were identified as Shiri Bibas, 32, and her children, Ariel and Kfir. The children were four years old and nine months old, respectively. The journalist was 83-year-old Oded Lifshitz.

"Video footage circulating on social media showed the terrorists parading black coffins containing the remains through the Gaza Strip, making a macabre spectacle of the matter." . . .

"The four coffins were placed on a stage in front of a crowd of Palestinians. A large banner showing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu depicted as a vampire was displayed in the background. The image shows blood dripping from his fangs with a picture of the deceased hostages superimposed on his chest."

Terrorist group Hamas on Thursday turned over the remains of four Israeli hostages it kidnapped during its surprise attack on October 7, 2023.

The details of the exchange elicited outrage from across the globe as it put the terrorist organization’s brutality on full display.

Hamas is pure evil. Parading an elderly man and a mother and her children in locked coffins with no keys. Creating a propaganda stage for an audience to celebrate. Hamas leadership screwed up thinking this would gain favor. Israelis will never forget this… pic.twitter.com/0ue5qJGoPA

Education Department Slashes $600 Million In Funding For ‘Social Justice Activism’ Teacher Training

The Federalist

These training programs are designed to ensure that teachers obsess over race and gender as the top qualities upon which to judge others, and then eventually weave that thinking into curriculums, classroom discussion, and policies.

"The U.S. Department of Education announced Monday it cut over $600 million in grants spent on training teachers in “social justice activism,” critical race theory, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideology.

"The grants were used to fund institutions and nonprofits involved in training teachers on concepts like “anti-racism” and claims about white privilege and white supremacy. The grants also helped fund discriminatory staff recruiting strategies that targeted candidates based on their race.

" 'It’s hard to overstate how radical these teacher trainings are — we are talking about forcing teachers to talk about their race at work, asking educators to ‘take personal and institutional responsibility for systemic inequities,’ promoting abolitionist teaching practices and defining equity as equal outcomes,” Erika Sanzi, director of outreach for Parents Defending Education, said in a press release. “And not for nothing but all we see are declining outcomes for the students that these trainings purport to help most.”

"The Department of Education noted several of the trainings — meant for future classroom teachers — the grants funded, including “Requiring practitioners to take personal and institutional responsibility for systemic inequities (e.g., racism) and critically reassess their own practices,” and “Receiving professional development workshops and equity training on topics such as ‘Building Cultural Competence,’ ‘Dismantling Racial Bias’ and ‘Centering Equity in the Classroom.'”

"Other trainings were aimed at “building historical and sociopolitical understandings of race and racism to interrupt racial marginalization and oppression of students in planning instruction relationship building discipline and assessment” and “acknowledging and responding to systemic forms of oppression and inequity, including racism, ableism, ‘gender-based’ discrimination, homophobia, and ageism.”

A Shameful Ad Signed by Jews in the New York Times: How a Holocaust Happens

Phyllis Chesler; Substack

We are commanded to pray for all our people on the Day of Atonement. Oh, I do not want to have to pray for these signatories on Yom Kippur. I do not want to take any responsibility for their shameful display.

NY Post

"It's all happening just as I knew it would--but all the shiny, happy, people did not want to see it. They still don't. As someone said about the Holocaust: It started slowly and then it happened all at once.

First, little things happened--well, they were not so little but they were little enough so that most people did not really notice them. Not all the medical forms demanded that you identify yourself as male, female, bisexual, non-binary, gay, queer, or transgender--until they all did, seemingly at once. Not every public, hospital, or school bathroom was renamed for any and all humans--until they all were.

"Not every Jewish or pro-Israel student was harassed, demonized, forced to flee the campus mobs--until far too many were.

"Jewish or pro-Israel psychotherapists and psychoanalysts were not all blackballed if they were suspected of having pro-Israel positions, only some were--until it became clear that there actual blacklists were being circulated and more and more fine analysts found their names on them.

"Not every pro-Israel or pro-science (and thus anti-transgender) academic lost coveted lecture dates, promotions, tenure, publishing contracts, invitations to appear at prestigious journals--until they all did.

"As for the feminists? Still-existing feminist bookstores and Women's Studies Programs stopped welcoming a feminist's work slowly, and then across the board, if the feminist in question was not solidly on board with intersectional feminism; i.e. was not pro-transgender and anti-Israel--and if his or her main areas of study were not about racism, Western colonialism, Western imperialism, and all things queer, all things Palestine.

"As for myself--I was purged from a feminist listserv group long ago, perhaps in 2004, and was forced to exit another professional psychology group over the subject of Israel/Palestine. To stay or to go from dangerous places has always been a Jewish dilemma--well, as they say, it may start with the Jews but it never ends with us. Dissidents, apostates, infidels--all, all have had to flee for their lives from where they were born or grew up or have lived all their lives.

"Those who critiqued Islam/Islamism, terrorism, and Jihad were not only dis-invited and defamed, their lectures were interrupted, mobs moved against them quite menacingly, they increasingly needed police protection or they were escorted out, mid-sentence, for their own protection. It began slowly--I both experienced it and saw it happen to others, at first, one by one--but soon enough this became the norm.

"Famed Nobel Laureates signed petitions and ads demonizing only Israel. At first, there were not that many and they did not appear all at once. Now--they do." . . .

29 Celebrities Who Have Spoken Out For Palestine

Musk’s Attack on Waste, Fraud and Abuse Threatens Status Quo

Ann Coulter

"Then there was Hillary Clinton, who was put in charge of remaking America’s entire health care system. She wasn’t confirmed; her only authority came from being the president’s wife." . . .

"Desperate to protect government employees who are paid upward of $100,000 a year to surf porn all day (or do something even more disgusting, like funnel money to USAID), Democrats are beside themselves about Elon Musk. His Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) clearly violates the very letter and spirit of government work.
"Fourteen states and dozens of “civil servants” (useless government employees) have sued to stop this madman. Luckily for the media, there are stables of law professors ready to assure the public that the lawsuits are based on solid legal theories, just like the Russian collusion investigation, Alvin Bragg’s criminal prosecution of Donald Trump, Colorado’s attempt to keep Trump off the ballot and so on.
"The gist of their argument is that Musk has been given enormous power and therefore requires Senate confirmation.
"What kind of president would give massive authority to an adviser who hasn’t been confirmed by the Senate? Only every Democratic president who’s ever lived.
"The difference is that their advisers are unconfirmed because they’re progressive lunatics who couldn’t be confirmed in a million years. The other difference is the Democrats’ unconfirmed advisers proceed to do things the American people don’t want and didn’t ask for — as opposed to Musk, who is doing something the voters definitely do want and did ask for.
"Neither voters nor the Senate voted for Soviet spy Alger Hiss to be President Franklin Roosevelt’s top adviser. But he sat at the president’s side at Yalta, as FDR cheerfully condemned tens of millions of people to live under communism.
"(Just think of the havoc Musk could wreak!)"
"Then there was Hillary Clinton, who was put in charge of remaking America’s entire health care system. She wasn’t confirmed; her only authority came from being the president’s wife. Hillary promptly hired the unconfirmed and unconfirmable Ira Magaziner, and together, they assembled a “task force” with more than 600 members, who not only weren’t confirmed, but whose names were hidden from the public. (Many, it later turned out, had a financial interest in the plan.) . . .

Senate aide who filmed a porno video on Capitol Hill monetizes his degeneracy and starts selling ‘content’ on OnlyFans

 Olivia Murray

"What is it about the Democrat party that attracts the scummiest and most despicable individuals, before giving them a platform and position in their movement?"

"Remember a couple of years ago when a young Democrat staffer filmed himself engaged in gay, anal sex with an unidentified partner in the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing room, which was then “leaked” online, before claiming that he would “never” do anything to “disrespect” his workplace.

"Yeah, okay.

"According to a new report out at The Washington Free Beacon, he’s now monetized his obscene proclivities and lifestyle, and is selling his hardcore “content” on pornographic social media platforms like OnlyFans and Just for Fans for just $9.99 a month… under the name “Senate Twink”, a nod to his time in government. (A “twink” is a gay man who typically acts as the submissive partner.)

"So much for the deep “respect” he claimed to have for his former job and workplace—nothing says dignity like monetizes one of the grossest scandals in American history (at least, to which the public is privy) and peddling cheap, gay pornography; he’d also been warned about his social media content before the workplace sex tape made headlines, once posting a picture from what looked like a work dinner with a caption about “trying to resist the urge” to suck on a (gay) congressman’s fingers who was also present for the meeting. Seriously, what is wrong with these people.

"As the Free Beacon item notes, none of this really rules out his return to American (Democrat) politics. David Hogg somehow secured the DNC’s vice-chair position, Anthony Weiner is out of prison after spending six years in the can for sexting a young girl and ready to do some damage on New York’s city council, and a new report today revealed that Andrew Cuomo, the former governor who resigned in disgrace amid credible reports of sexual harassment, is preparing a run for New York City mayor." . . .

Democrats defend the indefensible

 Chris Talgo

President Donald Trump is putting the Democrats on defense as he marches forward and delivers on his campaign promises. Unlike his predecessors, he is more than happy to wage war on the deep state on behalf of the American people.

. . ."Make no mistake, the vast majority of Democrats still suffer from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). Why else would they cavalierly oppose popular policies that their own constituents generally support?

"While TDS may play a role in the Democrats’ staunch antagonism to Trump’s agenda, it also must be noted that Democrats have benefitted mightily from many of the backwards policies and wasteful spending programs that the Trump administration is finally undoing.

"For several decades, the Democratic Party has embedded operatives throughout the federal bureaucracy. As the New York Post recently reported, Democrats far outnumber Republicans in nearly every federal department. The lopsided makeup of these agencies, nearly all of which skew heavily towards Democrats, inevitably shapes the nature of their priorities.

"In other words, the Democrats are going apoplectic about DOGE revealing the rampant waste, fraud, and abuse that is all too commonplace throughout the federal bureaucracy because they fear that this is the end of their lavish government gravy train.

"For many decades, deep-state Democratic Party-aligned apparatchiks have used these agencies to further their progressive, big government agenda.

"The problem is that this fourth branch of government has become much too powerful. Today, unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats, most of whom espouse progressive values, think they can micromanage our lives better than we can. Moreover, they assume that they have the right to spend our hard-earned tax dollars on pet projects and assorted wealth redistribution schemes." . . .

"The View"; False knowledge is damning.

The View and a host of others demonstrate that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing -- and no knowledge is pernicious

"Over the years, there have been some intelligent conservative women on their panel, but they do not last. They are hounded off the show or quit for obvious reasons – there can be no rational conversation."
Ian Macfarlane toon added by TD

. . ."Hmmm.  For Hostin, apparently skin color is quite literally everything and her barely black skin color makes her smarter than all those other women who voted for Trump.  Has the woman never heard of MLK, Jr.?  About the content of character?  Does she understand the meaning of the word ‘character’?  Perhaps not.  That people like Hostin continue to believe that skin color is relevant to how one votes is both astonishing and lamentable.  She only betrays her ignorance with such statements.

"That she could not see and realize that Kamala Harris was monumentally unqualified to be vice president, let alone president, is a sad commentary on the lack of basic, essential knowledge of those in the media who presume to tell their viewers what to think and how to vote.

"What Hostin revealed with that statement was her own lack of historical knowledge that informs one’s ability to judge who is and who is not capable of leading in any profession.  It is not, and has never been, about skin color.

"Our greatest living Supreme Court Justice is Clarence Thomas.  Our greatest living economist is Thomas Sowell.  Both are black.  The left loathes them both.  Like the other women on The View, Behar and Goldberg in particular, they seem to be mind-numbed morons, determined to impart their oh, so seriously biased and uninformed opinions to others.

"The same can of course be said of countless other news readers who pretend to be journalists.

"Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan of CBS tried to tell Secretary of State Marco Rubio that the Holocaust was the result of free speech!  Not Hitler, not antisemitism, not national socialism but free speech!  Rubio, shocked at the sheer silliness of her statement, eloquently refuted her.

"Scott Jennings, who so far is surviving being on CNN, has the unenviable job of correcting the absurd commentaries of his fellow CNN panelists who, likewise, seem to know nothing beyond that which their far-left, woke superiors have filled their heads. " . . .

$2B of the EPA Stash Zeldin Found at Citibank Was Going to Stacey Abrams

Hot Air

. . ."The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) reportedly uncovered that the funds were allocated to "Power Forward Communities," a nonprofit tied to Abrams, which had only $100 in its account months prior. Granted by the Biden administration’s EPA in April 2024 . . ." Nuff Said? Racism claims begin in 3...2...1...

"That's billions with a "B" designated for the election denying real Georgia governor and former President of Earth, Stacey Abrams.

Not that I don't have anything against the woman's perpetual hustles - girls gotta make a living, I guess. But why does it always seem to be taxpayers getting fleeced whenever that name comes up?

Now, she hasn't kept a low profile since the Trump takeover. She's been busy doing her duty as a loyal drone to insinuate dark deeds afoot and sinister motives to every move that the president and his housecleaning sidekick make, even when she has to lie to do it.

"For instance - I'd be happy if they could cite a single court order that's been 'defied' as they claim. Every TRO attempt has been answered by a Trump legal response or challenge and settled accordingly.

"It's simply easier for the progressive foot soldiers to spew than attempt a reasoned argument with a fact or two thrown in for legitimacy.

"So, only a week ago, brand new EPA head Lee Zeldin and his team had their own 'Look what we found!' moment." . . .

In addition: "Well, Stacey Abrams *is* coming after your gas stove"...
