Is This the Woman Who Held Up That Horrible Sign Attacking at Winsome Sears?

Townhall

Gov. Winsome Sears
"Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears attended a meeting held by the Arlington County School Board to discuss their bathroom policy after a convicted sex offender was allowed to use the ladies’ restroom by claiming to be transgender. It drew a rally of pro-transgender supporters, some of whom had deliciously racist signs for Ms. Sears, the GOP’s 2025 gubernatorial candidate. The Democrats in Virginia at least have embraced their party’s Klan roots." . . .

Gavin Newsom's Imbecilic Response to Bed Bath and Beyond News Prompts Smackdown From Executive Chairman

Sister Toldjah

"RedState reported on Wednesday about the announcement from Bed Bath and Beyond executive chairman Marcus Lemonis that his company had no plans to open locations in California.

"We will not open or operate retail stores in California," Lemonis wrote

"In addition to pointing out that the decision wasn't "about politics," Lemonis went on to note that "California has created one of the most overregulated, expensive, and risky environments for businesses in America. It’s a system that makes it harder to employ people, harder to keep doors open, and harder to deliver value to customers."

"Other businesses in California have either scaled back, closed down, or left the state for similar reasons in what some political observers and business commentators have called a mass exodus.

"Lemonis's remarks were made amid an attempt at a comeback of sorts for the online home goods retailer after the original Bed Bath and Beyond chain shuttered its brick-and-mortar locations in 2023 and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Rebranded by owners Beyond Inc. as Bed Bath & Beyond Home, its first location opened this month in Nashville, and the company has plans to open hundreds more stores in the coming months.

"Instead of acting like a real leader who was eager to work with the company to bring much-needed jobs to his state, Newsom and his unhinged social media team have posted some pretty imbecilic - and rather revealing - responses on X.

" 'The company that already went bankrupt and closed every store across the country two years ago? Ok," Newsom said in one tweet.

"In another, he bashed former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's (R-CA) criticism of his reaction, writing that "Next, he’s going to announce that Blockbuster wants to move back to California too."

"His press office posted this: After their bankruptcy and closure of every store, like most Americans, we thought Bed, Bath & Beyond no longer existed.  We wish them well in their efforts to become relevant again as they try to open a 2nd store.

Neighbors hurl antisemitic slurs at father of Georgia woman killed working for Israel’s border patrol: video

 NY Post

"A grieving father of an American woman killed while serving on Israel’s border patrol was verbally abused by neighbors who shouted antisemitic slurs [and called her death a "righteous murder"] and mocked him for his daughter’s death, according to the hurting dad and video."

Rose Lubin was killed after a teenage “terrorist” stabbed
her while on patrol in November 2023.

"Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, 20, was stabbed to death by a teenage “terrorist” while patrolling Jerusalem’s Old City in November 2023.  Lubin was a “lone soldier” living in Israel without her family after immigrating there in August 2021 and started her mandated army duty in March 2022 — more than a year before the Israel-Hamas war officially began.

"Her father, David Lubin, hasn’t known peace since his daughter’s untimely death.". . .

. . . " 'You are calling yourself a k–e, you know what you are. You know what you are better than me. You are a corrupt politician with a daughter in the IDF that went there to kill, and has killed maybe in friendly fire because the Israeli soldiers kill each other all the time, and you know very well,” one of his neighbors, Anna Bouyzk, insisted as they argued over the meaning of the Jewish slur.

"Bouyzk and her husband, Mark, the co-founder of the bought-out genetics company AKESOgen, went on to insist Rose’s death was okay because “she was fighting.”  More...

"The young policewoman who was killed was an Atlanta native named Rose Lubin. She was not a soldier but rather a policewoman. About a month after October 7, 2023, she was on patrol in the Old City of Jerusalem when she was killed by a terrorist on a motorcycle. Interestingly, she was living in Kibbutz Saad by the Gaza envelope on October 7th, and she was instrumental in defending the town of over 800 residents from the Hamas army that tried to conquer the town and destroy its residents."

(GALLUP) Democrats regain lead, but Americans dislike the party more than ever

Sharyl Attkisson   "Democrats have regained a slim lead in party affiliation after Republicans led through most of 2023 and 2024, according to a new Gallup poll.

"The shift comes even as the Democratic Party’s image is at a record low and slightly worse than that of the Republican Party. Americans are also no more likely to say Democrats are better than Republicans at managing the federal government or bringing about the changes the country needs." . . .

. . . Historically, the party that controls the presidency and Congress often loses supporters early in the first term, as has happened in multiple past administrations. Democrats’ current lead is built on soft support from independents, which could shift quickly if political attitudes change.

Bed, Bath & Beyond flees California, tells the world exactly why

Monica Showalter Bed, Bath & Beyond flees California, tells the world exactly why

. . . "As they ignore, mock, and abuse businesses that are fleeing, the chief of Bed & Bath knew that the only avenue left was to state, Trump-like, the raw hard reality of why businesses such as his, and many others, are fleeing the horribly governed blue state."

political-cartoons/afbranco

. . . "It follows from the statement last month issued by In-N-Out Burger's CEO, Lynsi Snyder, who pretty much said the same thing more informally.

"According to the New York Times:

Lynsi Snyder, the chief executive of In-N-Out Burger, has announced that she plans to move her family to Tennessee as the fast-food chain establishes a corporate office there, drawing a backlash in California, where her grandfather founded the company nearly 80 years ago.

“I’m actually moving out there,” Ms. Snyder, who was raised in Northern California, said on “Relatable,” a faith-based podcast that discusses culture, news and politics from a conservative Christian perspective. (In-N-Out prints Bible verses in small print on its packaging.)

“There are a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here,” Ms. Snyder, 43, said in the episode released on Friday. “Doing business is not easy here.”

"Unlike Lynsi, Bed & Bath's top executive wasn't gentle at all. Lemonis understood that California's ruling legislators need to be hit over the head with hard realities for any chance of getting them to listen, which in fact is very low. Notice from the New York Times account that Lynsi was trolled by anonymous trolls on the internet for stating she wanted to leave, (which sounds pretty manufactured actually), but we know that companies pulling up stakes have been mocked and abused for leaving the state. Recall how legislative powerbroker Lorena Fletcher bellowed the 'f' word at Elon Musk for moving his Tesla headquarters to Texas out of frustration at California's policies. He replied "message received" and left it at that.

"This CEO is different. He lays it right out -- the monster taxes, the monster regulations, the hostile climate for hiring. He said it was so bad he wasn't going to open any stores in California."...

Newsom: it's different when Democrats do it

Bitterness, "Racism",and Joy Reid

A Fired MSNBC Star, Joy Reid, Says She Received ‘a Tenth’ the Pay of Male Colleagues . . . "Who Worked ‘Less Hours,’ Calls Herself Victim of Racism"  "The former host says her male colleagues benefited from the ‘Elon Musk presumption.’ "

Joy Reid’s Race-Baiting Rants: A Fool’s Errand in the Age of Woke Backlash  Listen to Joy here... "In a recent  video (ABOVE) from conservative commentator Mark Dice, titled “Joy Reid is Even More Upset Than Usual Because of,” the former MSNBC host is caught in yet another tirade that exemplifies her obsession with race and history. Reid, now relegated to podcasts after her prime-time show’s cancellation earlier this year, lambasts the Trump administration’s efforts to overhaul Smithsonian exhibits by removing what she calls “wokeness” and emphasizing positive American achievements. She accuses conservatives of trying to “clean up” history by erasing mentions of slavery, claiming, “They can’t fix the history they did. Their ancestors made this country into a slave hell, but they can clean it up now because they got the Smithsonian. They can get rid of all the slavery stuff.” But Reid doesn’t stop there; she dives into outright racial essentialism, asserting that “We black folk gave y’all country music, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, rock and roll. They couldn’t even invent that. But they have to call a white man the king because they couldn’t make rock and roll.” Even more bizarrely, she links modern technology like Morse code, telephones, and computers to African drum rhythms, declaring, “They took that same pulsation and rhythm and now they call it a computer, which is nothing but African drum.”

Honestly, I'm shocked that Joy Reid said this in front of the world. The most racist, insufferable rant ever. Yet, there is no real backlash.

Democrats rage at Trump’s every move but offer no real alternative—only fury, obstruction, and failed policies voters have already rejected.

 Victor Davis Hanson

"Nothing seems to destroy him—not the raid on his home, not 93 lawfare indictments, not efforts to strike him from state ballots, not two impeachments, not even two assassination attempts. Instead, all that only made him stronger—and thus more hated."

"The Pavlovian Left goes berserk at the mere prospect of each new Trump initiative.

"Its escalating reactive venom and hysteria are calibrated to the success of Trump’s latest policy.

"Yet the new hard-left Democratic Party offers no counter-agenda to explain its furor.

"Still less do Democrats attempt bipartisan efforts to craft shared legislation.

"Take foreign policy.

"Democrat senators trashed the recent Trump-Putin Alaskan summit as a failure. Then they became depressed when, just days later, an entourage of European leaders and President Zelensky of Ukraine suddenly flew to the White House.

"The Euros praised Trump for offering some sort of negotiated pathway to peace after over three years of war and some 1.5 million dead, wounded, missing, and captured on both sides—on Europe’s doorstep.

"So why did Democrats object to such negotiations by Trump?

"Was the reason that no such thing occurred during the Biden administration, when Putin invaded Ukraine, after his earlier invasions during the Obama era?

"What is the left’s alternate plan? The old Biden idea of supplying Ukraine with enough money and arms to keep fighting and dying, but with no path to either victory or a negotiated peace?

"Would they prefer a fourth, fifth, or sixth year of war, or an additional one million casualties?

"The more Trump pressed almost all NATO members to pay their promised two percent of GDP on defense, the more Democrats grew irate over Trump’s overseas influence.

"NATO members now want to raise defense spending to five percent of GDP and gush that Trump is “Daddy.”

"Democrats steamed at that, since Europeans are supposed to hate Trump, not admire him for rebooting NATO.

"Would they prefer the old, disarmed NATO?

"Under the Biden administration, over 10 million illegal aliens flooded the country, sometimes 10,000 a day at the southern border.

"More than half a million criminals swarmed in.

"Yet now there is essentially zero illegal immigration and over 100,000 criminal aliens deported. A million who entered illegally have voluntarily gone home.

"Yet the left has fought the enforcement of immigration law tooth and nail.

"Do they believe that it is lawful and moral to break immigration law but immoral and illegal to enforce it?

"What is their solution?" . . .  More...

LOOK! I GOT MY GENDER AFFIRMATION SCOUT BADGE!

Ann Coulter

"Given the Democrats' history of cheerfully inflicting harm on young men, I now realize it's appalling that Trump got only 75% of their vote."

"Democrats are panicking over the fact that young white men hate them.

"In the 2024 presidential election, whites were the only demographic group that gave Donald Trump a majority of its votes, as has been the case for every Republican presidential candidate since 1964. This rather important statistic is known by exactly zero Republicans.

"I wonder if Japanese political consultants get as excited about how many white votes they get as the GOP is about their non-white votes. How about consultants for the African National Congress? We've GOT to figure out a way to increase our white vote!

"Despite conservatives' 30-year obsession with winning over black voters (not to mention Jared Kushner's deep insights into the black psyche), in 2024, Trump "surged" to a pathetic 15% of the black vote.

"The only really surprising thing about last year's election is that Trump won white men under 20, with about 75% -- the highest percentage of any demographic by race and age. Gen Z and millennial white men were practically pikers compared to the 18- and 19-year-olds, giving Trump a mere 67% of their vote.

"Alarmed by young white men's poor "allyship," the Democratic National Committee recently rolled out a $20 million program to win over these selfish louts, who do not leap for joy at a party that wants them dead.

"Plan A: Send a fat, Latina lesbian to hold pizza parties with frat boys. Result: four fraternities invited; zero acceptances.

"Plan B: There is no Plan B. Consequently, every liberal is brainstorming ideas to appeal to young white males. In The New York Times this week, authors Robert Putnam and Richard Reeves propose appealing to young men's innate yearning for honor, self-reliance and heroism by bringing back the Boy Scouts.

"Whatever happened to the Boy Scouts, anyway? Oh, I remember! The Democratic Party vaporized them."

"One of the exhibits in my Museum of the Democrat Party shows a troop of Boy Scouts taking the stage at the 2000 Democratic convention -- and getting loudly booed by the delegates. It seems the Supreme Court had recently declined progressives' demand that the group allow gay men to take young boys on overnight camping trips". . .

No Surprise: 88% of Students Confess They Pretend to be Left-Wing Just to be Left Alone

Ace of Spades

"It's not a surprise, but I'm glad there's confirmation. We can only roll back this evil once it is acknowledged.

On today's college campuses, students are not maturing -- they're managing. Beneath a facade of progressive slogans and institutional virtue-signaling lies a quiet psychological crisis, driven by the demands of ideological conformity.

Between 2023 and 2025, we conducted 1,452 confidential interviews with undergraduates at Northwestern University and the University of Michigan. We were not studying politics -- we were studying development. Our question was clinical, not political: "What happens to identity formation when belief is replaced by adherence to orthodoxy?"

We asked: Have you ever pretended to hold more progressive views than you truly endorse to succeed socially or academically? An astounding 88 percent said yes.

These students were not cynical, but adaptive. In a campus environment where grades, leadership, and peer belonging often hinge on fluency in performative morality, young adults quickly learn to rehearse what is safe.

The result is not conviction but compliance. And beneath that compliance, something vital is lost.

Late adolescence and early adulthood represent a narrow and non-replicable developmental window. It is during this stage that individuals begin the lifelong work of integrating personal experience with inherited values, forming the foundations of moral reasoning, internal coherence, and emotional resilience.

"Of course, this is the whole point: You can only mold impressionable minds, not older, more mature minds whose beliefs and political leanings are already set.

"Get 'em while they're young, says the Groomer Cult." . . .

Adam Schiff, Facing Criminal Investigation, Forms Legal Defense Fund UPDATED, Thur; 8/21

. . . "The whistleblower also claims that his/her concerns about the criminality of such actions were blown off by “unnamed members” of the group that Schiff reportedly assembled:" . . .
Adam Schiff, Facing Criminal Investigation, Forms Legal Defense Fund
"After failing to convince the Senate to convict Trump, Schiff went on to serve on the one-sided January 6 Committee, which protected then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and again held secret hearings in which witnesses had few due process rights. The committee later destroyed its documents to cover up its work.
Newly declassified FBI reports allege that Schiff and Swalwell knowingly leaked classified information
. . . "Nevertheless, Schiff and Swalwell are unlikely to face prison for their alleged wrongdoing. That’s because the limitations period for what they allegedly did is five years from the date of discovery. Someone in the DOJ, who must surely have known that leaking classified information to the media does not have constitutional protection, wanted to ensure that these men and their staffers remained free."

Matt Gaetz Interviews Ed Martin: Did Adam Schiff and the January 6th committee mishandle or even destroy key evidence?  Video

On Monday, Just the News broke the news that a Democrat whistleblower told the FBI in 2017 that Adam Schiff okayed leaking classified documents with the intent to harm President Trump.   . . . "This same Democrat whistleblower told the FBI agents from the agency’s St. Louis office again in 2023 that he personally attended a meeting at which Schiff authorized leaking classified information. The FBI brass did nothing. Chris Wray did nothing. The FBI under Chris Wray allowed these criminal acts to take place. Chris Wray has a long record of allowing the bureau to engage in criminal acts under his direction."
