"Gavin Newsom descended to Biden-level gaffes when he told blacks that they’re the standard of stupid, and he’s right there with them:
"I’m basically illiterate and “can’t read” because I’m dyslexic, and I got an abysmal SAT score because I’m not an intelligent or intellectual guy—hey, now that I think about it, “I’m just like you!” To a black audience. Sounds like Biden’s “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids” moment.
"News flash buddy: The self-deprecating doesn’t work when you’re deprecating everyone else too.
"And this is just the latest gaffe, as Newsom has really been on a retard roll as of late—I’m taking that word back from the left and using it in the proper context, speaking to Newsom’s delayed and/or depressed mental faculties.
"Just the other day, Ted Cruz called Newsom “historically illiterate” when he critiqued Newsom’s comparison of American law enforcement, presumably referring to ICE, to the Nazis:
Senator Cruz did not refer to Governor Newsom’s ability to read but rather his knowledge of history. Historically illiterate refers to knowledge of history. Newsom left the word historically out of the original tweet which says “historically illiterate”
"Newsom then responded, condemning Cruz’s “new low” for attacking a guy with dyslexia, saying this: “Ted Cruz calling a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low, even for him.” Peachy Keenan summed it up best: “Thinking ‘historically illiterate’ makes you functionally illiterate is what tells me you are in fact illiterate.” (Literacy tests for politicians should be a no brainer.)"
