What if Senator Delicto had been our Secretary of State?

Yet if Romney was our only choice to run against Bernie or any other Democrat, I'd have no choice but to vote for him as was the case in 2016.

Senator Pierre Delecto ends the career of Senator Mitt Romney  . . . "The good news for non-quisling Republicans is that this should end the career of Pierre/Mitt to be the next John McCain as the go-to-guy whenever the Democrats and the media need a "Republican" to attack President Trump and conservatives.  Pierre/Mitt is now a joke, a buffoon.  The Dems and media may use Mitt, but nobody has any respect for him.  Who now cares what Mitt or Pierre says?
"It is difficult to believe that Mitt beat Newt Gingrich in the 2012 primaries, and we got stuck with him and Paul Ryan."

Leftist heroes of the Week? Hillary, Schiff, and Mitt
What does one say about Mitt Romney's descent into elitist madness?  A fake Twitter account!  It's as though he were in middle school.  Those of us who supported his bid for the presidency in 2012 are shocked and horrified by his childish attempt to take Trump down, to see him impeached.  What became of this man we all believed to be above reproach?  He wanted to be Trump's secretary of state.  That did not happen, so it seems he is bitter and has regressed to schoolyard bullying.
The Meaning Behind Mitt Romney's Secret Twitter Name "Pierre Delecto"
. . . " 'Total speculation: it's a pun based on 'in pari delicto.' 'In pari' is replaced by 'Pierre' because Romney did his mission in France and speaks French, and 'delicto' (offense) is replaced with 'delecto' (delight)," one user wrote. "This explanation is also super dorky, and thus likely correct."
"We can definitely see it." . . .

Kamala Harris drops a few notches

File under 'Dumb': Kamala Harris asserts she knows Rudy Giuliani committed crimes, but has no idea what  "Pearls, suits and heels aside, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris may appear to be smart, but reality shows she's actually very dumb.
"How else to explain this one from softball political interviewer, Anderson Cooper of CNN?" . . .
‘I, I, I Don’t Know’: Anderson Cooper Stumps Kamala Harris With A Single, Simple Question  "CNN’s Anderson Cooper stumped Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris on Friday night when he asked her what specific laws President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani has broken." . . .      How ignorant must a Democrat be to get stumped by CNN?

Hillary: ‘I Probably Came Off As Too Serious’ In 2016 Election

Ah, so that was the reason.

Daily Caller  . . . "Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Wednesday that she “probably came off as too serious” during the 2016 election.
"Clinton joined daughter Chelsea Clinton on “The View” to discuss the book they co-authored, “The Book of Gutsy Women,” which was published Oct. 1. The book tells the stories of women who have inspired the Clinton women – “women with the courage to stand up to the status quo, ask hard questions, and get the job done.' ”

Democrats loved to use the word "lynching" yet Joe Biden apologizes when footage of him blasting 1998 Clinton impeachment as a 'partisan lynching' is unearthed

'So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here - a lynching. But we will WIN!' he tweeted.
UK Daily Mail  "Joe Biden has apologized for using the word 'lynching' when describing the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in 1998.
"His apology comes after the former Vice President lambasted President Donald Trump for also using the exact same word as he described his current impeachment process.
" 'This wasn't the right word to use and I'm sorry about that,' Biden wrote in a tweet late on Tuesday night.

"Biden used the word during a 1998 CNN interview as he defended then President Clinton on-air.
"But the former VP went on to imply that unlike him, the current President used the word to 'deliberately' evoke racist connotations.
" 'Trump on the other hand chose his words deliberately today in his use of the word lynching and continues to stoke racial divides in this country daily,' Biden implored.
"Biden is now coming under fire for his double standard after he earlier described Donald Trump as 'despicable' for comparing the impeachment inquiry to 'a lynching'. " . . .
Video

But many were quick to pull receipts from Biden's past and point out that he made the same lynching comparison back in October 1998 in an interview on CNN speaking about impeaching Bill Clinton.

Apparently Every Democrat In Existence Used The Term “Lynching” To Defend The Clintons  . . . "Of course, a little digging has turned up the reality that Democrats have used the term “lynch” in its various forms (lynch mob, lynching, etc.) many times. It’s pretty laughable just how prevalent their use of the word has been throughout the years. Worse, they did so specifically decrying impeachment, the very thing Trump is decrying. You can’t make this stuff up.

"Check it out." . . .
Flashback: Enjoy these videos of Democrats calling Bill Clinton’s impeachment a lynching  . . . "We know we’ve heard the word “lynching” before — both 2020 candidates Kamala Harris and Cory Booker called Jussie Smollet’s “assault” a modern-day lynching.
"But the Daily Caller has noted that the word had been used quite a bit during President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial; have a look: . . ."

Dems form lynch mob, the GOP holds the rope
As for the Democrats, we will simply share an ancient piece of Southern wisdom handed down the generations: “Ain’t never been a lynch town amounted to nothin’.”  We’ll find the same is true of political parties.

Mitt Romney about to become "corpus Delecto"?

Not Keith Olbermann
Mitt Romney Caught with Secret ‘Pierre Delecto’ Twitter Account to Champion Himself  . . . "Everything about this story says so much about Mitt Romney: his pettiness, his insecurity, his lack of character, honesty, and decency, starting with how it all unraveled: Romney doing business with the establishment media — in this case, the far-left Atlantic and activist-reporter, McKay Coppins, who was originally hired at BuzzFeed to destroy Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign.
"Back in 2011, Coppins was the affirmative-action hire of all affirmative-action hires. Determined to win Barack Obama a second term, BuzzFeed knew it needed a left-wing Mormon (or a “media-approved Mormon,” as I dubbed him at the time) on the team, someone who could trash Romney without being called a religious bigot." . . .
From the UK Daily Mail: Mitt Romney has secret Twitter account with alter-ego name 'Pierre Delecto' where he promoted his 2012 presidential campaign, nagged unflattering reporters and called Donald Trump's Syria pullout 'awful'
. . . "It was revealed Sunday evening by Slate that the 72-year-old Utah senator goes by the name Pierre Delecto, with the handle @qaws9876, on his undercover Twitter account that he admittedly uses to act as a 'lurker' on the social media site.
"In an interview with The Atlantic published Sunday, Romney gave some clues to his alter ego account, that lead Slate to be able to track down the Pierre Delecto account." . . .
Dave Granlund
The newly rebellious senator has become an outspoken dissident in Trump’s Republican Party, just in time for the president’s impeachment trial.  “ 'That’s kind of what he does,” Romney said with a shrug, and then got up to retrieve an iPad from his desk. He explained that he uses a secret Twitter account—“What do they call me, a lurker?”—to keep tabs on the political conversation. “I won’t give you the name of it,” he said, but “I’m following 668 people.” Swiping at his tablet, he recited some of the accounts he follows, including journalists, late-night comedians (“What’s his name, the big redhead from Boston?”), and athletes. Trump was not among them. “He tweets so much,” Romney said, comparing the president to one of his nieces who overshares on Instagram. “I love her, but it’s like, Ah, it’s too much.” (After this story was published, Slate identified a Twitter account using the name Pierre Delecto that seemed to match the senator’s description of his lurker account. When I spoke to Romney on the phone Sunday night, his only response was, “C'est moi.”)" . . .

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel: 'Socialist' Democrats 'Are Addicted to Power' and Will 'Never Let It Go'

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel: ‘Socialist’ Democrats ‘Are Addicted to Power’ and Will ‘Never Let It Go’  "Ronna Romney McDaniel, Chair of the Republican National Committee, has warned that Democrats have a socialist agenda and are addicted to power. McDaniel spoke to Fox & Friends on Tuesday about the RNC’s new ‘Victims of Socialism’ campaign.’
“Well, when you say socialism a lot of people in this country don’t understand what that means and so when you hear it firsthand from people from Venezuela or Cuba who have dealt with socialism, who’ve been driven from their countries, who have dealt with the poverty and the instability it brings to their government, I think it really resonates,” McDaniel said.
“ 'We’ve launched victimsofsocialism.org so we can hear their stories firsthand. And it is very powerful.”
"Following a clip of a video promoting the ‘Victims of Socialism’ campaign, Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy asked if any Democratic presidential candidates were featured in it.
“ 'We actually have in the video a man named Warner, who’s a former mayor,” McDaniel said." . . .

Part 4: #MeTooCNN Video Exposes Alleged Sexual Misconduct by CNN Exec . . .

. . .  and Possible Cover-Up by Senior CNN Management

Project Veritas  . . . "Last week, Project Veritas began releasing #ExposeCNN videos showing bias against the President, certain Democratic Presidential candidates, as well as the dissatisfaction of several longtime employees with the network’s current state.
"Today, we are releasing Part IV exposing CNN’s attitude towards sexual harassment and assault allegedly happening within the network." . . .

. . .
"Project Veritas Reaches Out to CNN Employees for Comment
"As a result of the audio and video recording acquired by Veritas journalists and CNN insider Cary Poarch, Veritas journalists approached Steve Brusk, Jake Tapper and Rick Saleeby in Washington, D.C., in order to ask for comment on our Expose CNN series and the Brusk allegations.  Project Veritas also reached out to Matt Dornic, Vice President of Communications and Digital Partnerships at CNN.  Neither Jake Tapper nor Rick Saleeby commented, but Steve Brusk said:
“ 'I, I, I don’t. Um but uh, I’ll let our PR people talk to you about that”…“No, sir. I’m happy to put you in touch with our PR people.”
"Call to CNN President Jeff Zucker’s Office
"In an attempt to get comment from Jeff Zucker on the released materials, Project Veritas received the following response from Zucker’s administrative assistant in a phone call: “We don’t have any comment, thanks for calling.”
"We need your help as we continue to hold CNN accountable.  If CNN Politics Supervising Producer Steve Brusk has sent you inappropriate messages or behaved inappropriately around you, tell us about it.  We will protect your identity.  Email veritastips@protonmail.com or send us an encrypted Telegram message at 914-653-3110.
"Project Veritas intends to continue its broader investigation into corruption in the Mainstream Media. We encourage the public to push for transparency within these Media organizations in order to get to the truth about any potential cover-ups of misconduct or inappropriate activity."   More here.

Joe and Barack. Well...Joe at least

Political Cartoons by Michael Ramirez
. . . "On Thursday, a reporter asked Biden why Obama had yet to endorsed him for president, to which the former VP replied, "I asked President Obama not to endorse, and he doesn’t want to. "Listen, we should — whoever wins this nomination should win it on their own merits." That's when things got awkward.". . .

Michelle Obama Has Bad News For Biden About Barack’s Endorsement
. . . "The apology could very well backfire on the embattled Biden because as has repeatedly been seen when dealing with the social media outrage mob, giving into them has been the worst option and once they have sensed weakness, like sharks they move in for the kill.
Mrs. Obama’s comments on withholding their endorsement nonetheless have to sting, especially after the human gaffe machine sent Barack a friendship bracelet last month."

Nancy Pelosi speaks nonsense to power

Photosnark by Rich Terrell who, being from California, must have been tormented by having to do this to a fellow Californian.
The mother of all hissy fits  "By now, you've all heard about Speaker Nancy Pelosi walking out on President Trump.  I'm still a bit confused about "he said," but "she said" that he showed no respect.
"My theory is that Speaker Pelosi was trying to pick a fight with President Trump to compensate for the announcement that there'd be no impeachment vote anytime soon.
"What else do you do when the left wants to hang him from the tree outside of the Capitol Building?
"No matter what, Speaker Pelosi did not look good for a woman who is third in line to assume the presidency.
"Furthermore, it did not help the image of women, as Miranda Devine wrote:
She must imagine it portrays her in a good light. It doesn’t, no matter how many progressive women share it triumphantly on social media as a symbol of female empowerment.
It’s more a symbol of female entitlement.
It’s an embarrassment to women who want to be judged on their merits, not given special treatment by men through melodrama and flouncing hysterics.
"To be honest, it'd be better if our leaders would be able to talk and not scream at each other.
"At the same time, this was a premeditated attack intended to show the left that the speaker hates the President as much as they do."

Hillary's Attacks on Tulsi Gabbard Appear to be Backfiring

"Is Hillary really crazy? Or is this some kind of bizarre strategy to get Democrats to begin calling for her to save the party from the loony left? The former is possible. The latter is delusional. So maybe her close loss to Trump has finally taken its toll on her mental state and she's lost touch with realityRick Moran
Townhall
Rick Moran  "Hillary Clinton's bizarre accusation that the Russians are "grooming" Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard for a third party run at the White House appears to be having the exact opposite effect she intended. “She’s the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far,” Clinton said on a recent podcast.
"That comment has led to an outpouring of support for Gabbard and harsh criticism of Clinton. In fact, Gabbard, who is barely registering in polls, is now fundraising off of the comment." . . .
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday backed out of  Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C. because Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard and former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen are also scheduled to speak,  Fox News reported. Her team, however, said it was because of "scheduling conflicts." . . .
If the nesting doll fits....

"WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to sources at a DC-area Costco, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was asked to leave Costco again after repeatedly accusing a lady handing out food samples of being a Russian asset.
"It wasn't clear how Clinton had ended up in the Costco, as she usually has her servants' servants go to the market for her. Some suggested she wanted to disguise herself and go be among her subjects to see how the other 99% lives." . . .

The Bee added, "Asylum Orderlies Return Hillary Clinton To Padded Cell Disguised As Oval Office"

Bobby O'Rourke says it's not Tulsi...it's Trump!   . . . "First off Beto, it’s not a false media narrative. It’s your fearless leader’s Russian smear campaign.
"Secondly, I think it’s been pretty well established that regardless of Trump’s faults, he is no Russian asset. How can you take a Clinton screw-up and redirect it at Trump? Welcome to partisan politics. "  Sheeesh!

Law Enforcement Says NOPE To Beto’s Gun Confiscation Plans

Victory Girls  Video...from CNN yet

"Law enforcement agencies will be perfectly fine going door-to-door confiscating those eeeevil AR-15’s and AK-47’s says Beto O’Rourke. The problem with Beto’s assertion? Law enforcement agencies and organizations are NOT fine with it.
“National law enforcement organizations harshly criticized Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s plan to send police officers to collect AR-15s and AK-47s from those who refuse to turn them in under his mandatory buyback scheme.
In interviews with the Washington Free Beacon, leaders from groups representing hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers described Beto’s gun confiscation plan as “ridiculous,” “asinine,” and likely unconstitutional.”
"I’m with them. You see, his plan goes way beyond asinine. But he’s so down with his plan that he’s using his young son to drive the point home." . . .
. . .
"Understandably, members of law enforcement are not on board with Beto’s plan.
“”I’m not sure whether his statements are naive or just plain ignorant and arrogant. Maybe it’s all three,” said Eddy County Sheriff Mark Cage. “The thought of anyone utilizing my sheriff’s office or any other law enforcement agency in this country as their personal Gestapo to go door to door violating citizen’s(SP) rights is disgusting, unrealistic and downright un-American.”
Cage is concerned if any law enforcement agency participates in O’Rourke’s plan on a large scale, “bloodshed would be inevitable,” adding that “some of my constituents are already adopting the mantra of ‘Come take mine Beto!’…His rhetoric has gotten old and I look forward to the day when he shuts up.' ”
The Morning Briefing: Beto Is Wrong About Everything and He'll Soon Be Gone
From PJ Media: . . . O'Rourke is the dumbest Democrat still standing, which is saying a lot in a field that includes Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Because most celebrities are stupid, Beto still has a lot of entertainment industry support.

How duplicitous or clueless are those who feed us current events daily?

Clueless CBS Pushes Constitutionally Ineligible Ocasio-Cortez as Bernie’s VP
"How excited are CBS journalists about the combination of socialist Bernie Sanders and socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? So thrilled that they didn’t bother to check the Constitution. Or even Wikipedia. CBS This Morning journalist Nikole Killion on Monday conducted a joint interview with the two far-left politicians.
"She asked Sanders, who just secured Ocasio-Cortez's endorsement, “If you are the nominee, Senator, would you consider the Congresswoman as your running mate?” The 2020 Democrat looked confused and even Ocasio-Cortez noted, “I think I’m too young for that.” . . .
Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution says:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. . . .
. . . "Proving that everything is about race and gender, she demanded to know: “As a woman of color, why back an old, white guy? And is this the future of the party?' ”

Free Beacon Reminds Us of Lefty Double Standard Between Brewer, Pelosi Finger Wags
"The Washington Free Beacon’s Andrew Kugle released Friday morning the site’s latest indispensable SUPERcut. This time, the topic centered around the not surprising but nonetheless horribly biased double standard between when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wagged a finger toward President Donald Trump versus when then-Governor Jan Brewer (R-AZ) did so to Barack Obama in January 2012.
“ 'Waving your finger at the president of the United States is disrespectful only if the president is a Democrat, according to members of the media,” Kugle began, stating the obvious fact."  . . .
"In the video, Pelosi soundbites included Morning Joe’s Mika Brzezinski calling it an “iconic photo” of Pelosi standing “among a room full of men” while CNN’s Dana Dash swooned that everyone “look at that photo of one woman standing up” and “giving it to the President of the United States.”
"But when it came to Brewer, there were no proclamations but denunciations ranging from anger to dismay to even cries of racism.

"Kugle’s video noted that it was condemned by Jonathan Capehart as “incredibly disrespectful” and “off-putting,” to the office of the President, by CNN’s Don Lemon as something that you don’t do to people you disagree with, and by both then-MSNBC hosts Tamron Hall and Alex Wagner as an “infamous” display.
"And there was this quote Kugle included from then-CNNer Jack Cafferty: “All that many saw in that famous photograph was a white woman wagging her finger at the first black President.' ” . . .
Out of view at the top in the illustration below is the US media.
Spectator
Sharyl: "Is there such a thing as an objective press?
Howie Kurtz: "There may not be such a thing as a purely objective press, because everybody brings their own biases. But, I think there is such a thing as a press corps that strives to be fair. I think there are reporters and journalists and even some anchors that do try to be fair, even in this hyper-polarized environment, where whatever you say or do, you get hammered by one side or the other as being pro-Trump or anti-Trump. It happens to me every hour or so. But, I think we’re seeing fewer and fewer organizations committed to the notion of trying to be fair. There is this tone. Sometimes, it’s snarky. Sometimes, it’s disgusted about, what did he do today? How is he undermining democracy? Look, there’s a lot to investigate in this administration. There was a two-year investigation of the Russia matter. Even when Bob Mueller came out and recommended no criminal charges, it seemed like there was a brief pause, and then the press was back at it night after night, day after day, in what Trump supporters would see as pretty hostile coverage.
Sharyl: "You were on the leading edge in a way. You wrote before the Special Counsel Robert Mueller Report came out that the press had overreached too often when reporting on that.
Howie Kurtz: "I don’t think there is any question, even though I never said that this is a witch hunt or the Mueller investigation was somehow illegitimate or a coup. I’ve never bought into any of that language. Of course, there were a number of indictments. But, it seemed to me that every little development, somebody hiring a lawyer, some new peripheral player being interviewed, some subpoena battle on Capitol Hill, got the breaking news banners, crisis treatment, constantly, to the point where I think it exhausted the country. Especially, now, the President is not going to face any criminal charges, I think a lot of people are just tired of it. But, the media are not tired of it, and I think it’s still working for them as a narrative and working for them as a business model. (Continued…)
