ABC moderators eviscerated for not asking Trump the single most obvious question at debate: 'This tells you everything'

Daily Mail Online
. . ."In an essay for The Federalist, editorial director Kylee Griswold slams the moderators for inquiring about January 6 while failing to ask VP Kamala Harris whether the Democrats' rhetoric could have lead to the attempt on Trump's life.

"Griswold wrote: 'Imagine refusing to ask the current vice president whether she regrets any of her hateful anti-Trump rhetoric and the Biden administration’s weaponization of the federal government against Trump that may have inspired an armed nutbag to fire at his head.' " . . .

. . ."Many social media users have also highlighted the moderators' failure to discuss the topic.

"One X user said: 'One of my favorite parts of the debate was Harris straight up not acknowledging the assassination attempt on Trump even though he brought it up clearly hoping that he could get into an exchange with her about it.'

"Another added: 'One of the funniest moments is the debate is when Trump wanted to talk about the assassination attempt and the moderators just muted him.'

"Muir and Davis have been accused of being biased and only fact-checking Trump - while letting Harris' claims go unchecked." . . .

A minor point, if I may digress: ABC/ Disney movie 'Jessie' Features Mean Girl Named ... Breitbart!  A quick look at the show’s IMDB.com pages shows that many of the program’s recurring characters are known just by their first names. Only the girl whose last name is - wait for it - "Breitbart"; perhaps soon a mean girl to be named "Trump" since we know Disney/ ABC does that. TD

Don Lemon slammed for mocking video of Melania Trump in deleted TikTok video - YouTube   Libs of TikTok on X: "Don Lemon mocks Melania Trump"

Lemon Blasted for Mocking Melania Trump in Assassination Attempt Video: ‘Do Better’ – IJR    . . ."Corey Comperatore, who was in the audience, was killed in the shooting.
"Lemon took to social media with a video of himself superimposed over Melania Trump and reacting to her words by making confused and frustrated faces, Fox News reported.
"“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” she said. “Now, the silence around it feels heavy. I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?”
"Lemon was seen “shaking his head, rolling his eyes, scratching his head and showing general bewilderment,” per the outlet.
"Those who saw Lemon’s video were not amused."
"Libs of TikTok posted, “Don Lemon mocks Melania Trump describing her distress over the attempted ass*ss*nation of her husband. Sick.' ”

Don Lemon ripped for mocking Melania Trump after she spoke out on hubby’s ‘horrible’ assassination attempt: ‘Sick’ (NY Post)  . . ."In the video, the scandal-scarred former anchor could be seen rolling his eyes and shaking his head repeatedly as he filmed himself watching the former first lady recall the “distressing” and “horrible” ordeal.

At one point, Lemon threw his hands up in the air when Trump’s wife questioned law enforcement’s role in the bloody ordeal, saying “there is definitely more to this story and we need to uncover the truth.”

"The backlash against Lemon was swift with many on social media slamming him as insensitive and “attention starved.' ”

Lemon deleted the video and now everything is just fine. Unless, of course, Muir and Davis care to discuss Lemon's antics. Don't bother apologizing, Mr. Lemon. TD

Poll: Most Likely Voters Blame Kamala Harris for Record Illegal Immigration

 Breitbart (breitbart.com)

My mother, the czar.

"The majority of likely voters say they blame Vice President Kamala Harris for record levels of illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico over the last three and a half years, a New York Times/Siena College poll reveals.

"The poll asked likely voters “How much blame, if any, do you think Kamala Harris as sitting vice president should receive for … problems at the border” — record illegal immigration, in other words — to which 63 percent said they place “a lot of blame” or “some blame” on Harris.

"In April of 2021, President Joe Biden asked Harris to lead the administration’s effort in “stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border.” As a result, many media outlets and lawmakers began referring to Harris as the “border czar.”

"Harris has since tried to distance herself from the issue of illegal immigration.

"The poll shows the majority of likely voters are not convinced by Harris’s attempt to distance herself from the border. Only 16 percent of likely voters said Harris bears “no blame at all” for record illegal immigration over the last few years." . . .

Trump’s Debate Anger Reflects America’s Anger

 Hank Vanderbeek - American Thinker

"Trump’s anger is America’s anger. He won that debate, if only because Harris wants a rematch. Every red-blooded American should be at least as angry as President Donald J. Trump."

. . ." What they saw was someone who feels American’s hurt and who reflects their anger. Trump would not be human if he were not madder than a wet hen at what’s happening to the country and to him for trying to save the country, with the J6 lies, the lawfare, the avoidable attempt on his life, and a three-on-one ambush debate.

"Who in their right mind would not be angry at what’s going on with the get-Trump agenda, and the vile divisiveness of the radical leftist administration? Kamala smiled in his face with a disingenuous opening debate handshake and then proceeded to disparage him with lies, condescension, and abject disrespect. Trump is being criticized by the talking heads because he didn’t do this or that in the debate. His emotion was what was called for at that moment -- outrage! Ronald Reagan was outraged at 1980 GOP debate when he angrily said: "I am paying for this microphone.' ” . . .

Donald Trump’s anger might not take him any further | the Aspen beat  ..."There’s a place for anger in politics. Like a lot of people today, I’m angry. Like a lot of people today, I want to kick the glass doors of our government, media, universities, and big businesses for their censorship, their racial discrimination, their wokeness, their antisemitism, and their incompetence.

"Like a lot of people today, I like a candidate who feels similar anger. That’s why I voted for Donald Trump in 2016, again in 2020, and will again in 2024. He’s angry about the right things for the right reasons." . . .  "Donald Trump has done a ton of good for America, but his anger is reaching the limits of its effectiveness. On Tuesday, he seemed to be kicking glass doors that weren’t even locked."

Forget The Networks; Why Alternative Media Is Saving America   "In the recent debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris (and her debate partners, ABC’s David Muir and Linsey Davis), viewers were promised an evening of political discourse to allow the two candidates to clarify their policy positions.

"Instead, what America received was one of the most absurd displays of media bias in the nation’s history." . . .
Remember when KaBamala wouldn't attend Netanayahu's Speech in Congress coz she had an urgent meeting with her Sorority - Alpha Kappa Alpha?   "An X poster named “Black Insurrectionist” (aka @DocNetyoutube) claims to possess an affidavit from an ABC employee exposing ABC for having given Kamala the questions in advance and promising her that the moderators would never attack her but, instead, that they would only attack Trump: . . ."  There’s allegedly an affidavit claiming ABC gave Kamala the questions before the debate - Andrea Widburg

"Davis went viral for a ‘fact check’ of Trump on abortion, where she falsely claimed it is illegal to kill babies after they are born and then abruptly turned to Harris for a reply without giving Trump the courtesy of a chance to respond.

"In actuality, babies who survive abortions in the home state of Harris’ vice presidential running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), are allowed to be left to die without lifesaving care–thanks to Walz.

If True, the ABC News Presidential Debate Could Be Rocked by Explosive Scandal – PJ Media    . . ."This wouldn't be the first time that a left-leaning network helped a Democrat's presidential campaign this way. In 2016, Donna Brazile, the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and a CNN contributor, provided Hillary Clinton's campaign with advance access to questions for Democratic campaign events hosted by CNN.

"That said, I'm skeptical. If such a whistleblower exists, the individual would likely speak with someone well-known with a reputation that people would trust or negotiate with a news network. Who is this X/Twitter user and why is he getting this scoop?

"There were problems with the debate, for sure. There were conflicts of interest, and the unprecedented bias of the moderators, but what advantage would having the debate questions in advance really give? Each candidate knows the important issues of the election and would thus know what topics would be covered based on that alone.

"Further, remember that the first question Kamala got was about the economy and about whether people are better off today more than they were four years ago. She punted. She didn't answer the question and was clearly not prepared for it.

"So, frankly, I don't believe this report. I want to see receipts. Until then, don't fall for it. If we get the receipts, we'll go from there. That said, there are people on both sides of the aisle who say the debate was, in fact "rigged.' " . . .

Kamala’s Condescending and Mocking Debate Faces May Be What Voters Remember

 William A. Jacobson (legalinsurrection.com)

"Democrats were “thrilled with her facial expressions, thrilled with how she mocked him visually while he was talking, and that was deliberate. There’s no question that was deliberate—that was part of their plan. I just don’t know how that’s going to play. I don’t think it’s going to play well.' ”

. . ."So, it was anger at the moderators, frustration that Trump wasn’t making a lot of the points I thought he could have made, but he was being Trump. And I’ve misjudged his appeal to voters and his electoral success so many times, so it is what it is.

"But there’s something else I took away from this—and it’s showing on the screen just to the side of me here. One thing I really noticed throughout was the faces that Harris was making—very condescending, very mocking, very childish, actually. I think that’s the one thing I remember more than anything about the debate.

"Now, I think Trump did a very good job, even though he didn’t make the points I thought he could have, like showing how she flip-flopped. He hit hard on the border and the economy, and I think that may have a lasting impact.

"What’s showing up in the focus groups—ones I’ve seen not by right-wing groups, but CNN, Reuters, NBC—there seems to be a disconnect between who they think won the debate and how they’re reacting substantively.

"Trafalgar was consistent with the others, showing a 15-point win for Harris in terms of who won the debate, but no movement in who people were going to vote for. CNN was interesting—they had an even larger, 20-plus-point win for Harris, but found that on the key issue—voters’ most important issue—the economy, Trump actually improved over pre-debate polling. Similar findings came from Reuters and NBC." . . .

Former top Clinton adviser calls on ABC to launch internal probe into whether debate was rigged | Just The News
Mark Penn is not the only veteran Democratic pollster and advisor to criticize the moderation. In an editorial, Doug Schoen, an advisor to President Clinton and N.Y.C. Mayor Mike Bloomberg, lamented that Harris "was aided and abetted by two ABC News moderators who seemingly felt the need to fact-check virtually everything the former president said."

What's Going on With CNN? Jake Tapper Rips Into Kamala Harris' Debate Performance – RedState   . . ."When she was asked if Americans were better off, she went into a riff about how she was raised as a "middle-class kid" and she claimed she was the only one on the stage who had a plan that was about lifting up the middle class. So what was it? She wouldn't say. You mean like Joe Biden was always talking about lifting up the middle class while crushing them with the inflation and the border influx?

" 'It went on from there," Tapper scolded.

" 'Despite the economy being the number one issue facing the country," Tapper said, Harris "generally reverted to talking points about a few of her policy proposals. Even Harris allies today are saying that she needs to talk more about what she will do for Americans, if elected."

" 'On the border, she also dodged," he declared." . . .

Merrick Garland's failures

 Peter Olsson - American Thinker

. . ."Any American can see the difference between the FBI raid President Trump’s Florida home and the passive, gentle, polite way the FBI investigated Joe Biden’s homes and offices in search of important documents." . . .

AfterMath

. . ."The most glaring failure in Garland’s leadership occurred when his appointed counsel Robert Hur refused to indict President Joe Biden for his obvious classified records crime on the grounds of Biden’s compromised cognition and memory function. Instead of disciplining Hur or pursuing further duty under section 4 of the 25th Amendment to our Constitution, Garland stood silent. Garland could have appealed to Vice President Harris and other cabinet members to seek Biden’s removal via appropriate constitutional processes. Garland’s inaction has left our country with a president compromised cognitively and legally until January 2025. Did Garland ever notice Joe Biden’s cognitive failures during cabinet meetings? During individual meetings? Garland seems to maintain purity in his own performance and responsibilities by silence, passivity, or inaction." . . .

Head Of Presidential Debates Commission Shreds ABC Debate Moderators

  YouTube

Explain America - YouTube

ABC Debate Scandal Explodes - Moderator's Shock   "The fact that Kamala Harris was anxious to debate President Trump on ABC, even though he never agreed to after Joe Biden was removed from the campaign trail, should tell you everything you need to know about her. She is a weak and unethical candidate who needed to rely on network surrogates to assist her in unfairly bashing Donald Trump. The two moderators, who repeatedly fact-checked Donald Trump while giving Harris a pass after she consistently lied against him should be fired and this debate should be dismissed!"

The 10 Harris Lies Moderators Let Slide at the ABC Debate

Victoria Taft  . . . "Muir's self-love could have made Tuesday night the most cringetastic event of the election cycle, second only to Joe Biden blubbering through the first debate, but for the selection of questions and the fact that only one candidate was required to answer them. Only one candidate was interrupted five times for "fact checks" in the middle of his exposition, which were not factual at all. Guess which candidate that was? Trump was on his own to fact-check Kamala Harris—if he got a chance, that is.

"Harris was allowed to lie with impunity, recite non-facts, and not participate in a "debate" to explain her positions. Her only tactic was to bait Trump.

"The game was afoot at the beginning when it was clear that the two moderators, Muir and some chick I've never heard of, asked Kamala Harris if the economy is better now than it was four years ago. They let her escape without answering. Now we know that "chick," Linsey Davis, was Kamala Harris's sorority sister.

"ABC News never mentioned it on debate night, but this video making the rounds on Thursday reveals that Davis was asked about their bond on the day Harris was sworn in." . . .

ABC Moderators Were Lying: EIGHT ‘Aborted’ Babies Were Born Alive & Then Left to Die in Minnesota – PJ Media

“There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born,” said ABC debate moderator Linsey Davis, as she smugly “fact-checked” the Republican nominee. “Madam vice president, I want to get your response to President Trump.”

“ 'Well, as I said, you’re going to hear a bunch of lies,” eagerly agreed Kamala Harris. And then she proceeded to tell a bunch of lies.

"But in this exchange, the first lie was told by ABC’s Linsey Davis. And either ironically or coincidentally, one of the places where babies can legally be killed post-birth is in the state of Minnesota — where her running mate, Tim Walz, is currently governor.

"The Daily Signal examined several years of data from the Minnesota Department of Health: At least eight babies who survived abortions — and were thus born alive — were later killed, or left to die.

"In fact, during the narrow timeframe of January 1, 2021, through December 21, 2021 (one year), five babies were born post-abortion operation. Of those five infants:" . . . Read more...

Either Linsey Davis — and by extension, ABC News — is guilty of an astonishing level of incompetence and flubbed a critically important fact during a presidential debate, or they were deliberately lying to the American people, hoping to trick us into voting for their preferred candidate. If the former is true, then they’re airheads who deserve to be fired. But if the latter is true, then they’ve become the literal embodiment of Fake News and misinformation.

"So it turns out the totally unbiased ABC moderator Linsey Davis and Kamala Harris are sorority sisters!" Linsey Davis and Kamala Harris sorority sisters

"Hate on 9/11: Actual footage of some Palestinians celebrating the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States in 2001. This footage was shown on CNN, MSNBC and FOX News. Still today, there are voices in Palestinian society who repeatedly embrace and praise terrorism - and it's not exclusive to Palestinian communities. There are voices of extremism throughout the Middle East and the world who praise and celebrate terrorism against Western countries. If we are ever to defeat the plague of terrorism, we must expose and speak out against not only hate, but the celebration of hate. #September11 #Honor911Make

Woman Who Made Career Singing About Her Bad Choices Endorses Kamala

Babylon Bee

"U.S. — A singer who has made her entire career out of writing songs detailing her horrifically bad choices has announced her choice for President: Kamala Harris.

"Pop icon Taylor Swift, who has written a veritable library of songs about her being a poor judge of character, made the announcement last night. "I know I'm internationally renowned for regretting every major decision in my life, but this choice will turn out different, I just know it," said Swift. "She's the one!"

"A longtime Democrat, Swift's songwriting is known for chronicling how each man she thought would be the one turned out to be a total scumbag, but she was too blind to see it. More recently, her writing has evolved to explaining how she's mentally unstable and makes terrible, destructive decisions about other things in her life outside of romantic relationships.

" 'Who better than Taylor Swift to decide if a person will work out or not?" said Swift fanatic David Muir. "If you stacked all of her ex-boyfriends on top of each other, you could reach Neptune, okay? That's what we call 'experience'. She's got so much experience making wrong decisions, who better to decide what's right?"

"At publishing time, Swift had reportedly begun penning a breakup song after learning that Kamala is really more of a Britney fan."   Maybe. Maybe not.

Are Harris supporters ignorant or do they just hate Trump more than they love this country?

 Patricia McCarthy - American Thinker

"On Israel, she stupidly spoke of a two-state solution!  Where has she been?  It is Hamas that refuses any cease-fire because they want Israel destroyed.  Anyone still dreaming about a two-state solution is an ignorant fool." . . .

Israelis visited by Hamas

"Given everything we know about Kamala Harris by now, it is astonishing that a single American would consider voting for her.  She is clearly way out of her depth, and until she suddenly became the designated candidate of the Democrat party, most people on both sides of the aisle considered her to be unqualified.  She did virtually nothing as Biden’s vice president these past three-and-a-half years beyond casting tie-breaking votes on numerous bills that have led to destructive inflation and trillions more in our national debt.  Most everyone agrees that she was the most radical of leftist senators while she held that office; she is to the left of Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist.  Harris is, and would govern as, a communist. The record of her political beliefs, going back to her terms first as San Francisco DA and then state AG, proves just how radical she is.  Now she claims she has “changed her mind” on all those annoying issues like defunding the police, ending all fracking, decriminalizing all drug offenses, no border wall, the decriminalization of all illegal entries into the U.S., mandated gun confiscation, etc., and she claims as well that “her values have not changed.”  She wants to have it both ways.

"Now we have heard the one and only debate during which the two ABC moderators clearly sought to cover for Harris’s many, many lies. To those of us who follow the campaign closely, just about every word out of her mouth was a lie.  So, one has to assume that those people who support Kamala Harris are wholly ignorant of her plans to complete Obama’s transformation of America into a Marxist nation without any constitutional protections.  If they continue to support her after the debate, then they are so deeply indoctrinated they are unable to think critically." . . .

Ms. McCarthy leaves us with this quote from Deitrich Bonhoeffer back in the Nazi era in Germany:

And so the Nazis killed him.

. . ."For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous."

Email mishap exposes Biden-Harris spokesman ridiculing American veterans, saying there’s ‘no use’ in responding to their concerns over Afghanistan exit

 Olivia Murray - American Thinker

This is one more real “suckers and losers” scandalous moment, spoken from the mouths of progressive Democrats, as always.

"Talk about a fail of epic proportions: John Kirby, the White House National Security Council spokesman for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, hit “reply all” on an email thread, not realizing that reporters were in on the conversation, and exposed himself, putting into writing his own dismissive attitude toward our nation’s veterans who are displeased and deeply upset over the way Biden, Harris, Kirby, and anyone else involved in the decision, decided to leave Afghanistan. Let me just emphasize again with what these veterans take issue: A haphazard and poorly-planned exit leaving a wake of chaos and death, including the needless loss of life of thirteen precious American soldiers, and more than $80 billion in equipment going right into the hands of the terrorists these veterans had been fighting, for twenty years.

"This man can’t properly avoid hitting “reply all” but he’s supposed to be trusted with classified information? It’s amazing we’ve actually lasted this long under a Biden-Harris administration."...

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby was met with intense criticism Wednesday after he inadvertently emailed a reporter that there is ‘no use in responding’ to veteran concerns about the Harris-Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Kirby, 61, apparently intended to send his dismissive response to White House staffers but accidentally hit ‘reply all’ on an email chain that included the Fox News reporter making the inquiry.

‘Obviously no use in responding. A ‘handful’ of vets indeed and all of one stripe,’ read Kirby’s email, according to the outlet. . . .
