"If you're looking to retain an attorney, you might have heard: "Check their state bar's website profile, because it will reveal anything negative."

"While it's useful to look at a lawyer's profile to confirm that they're licensed to practice law, if there are complaints filed by dozens of clients over several years, you might never see them. Besides that, the absence of bad stuff on their profile is no assurance that you are dealing with an ethical attorney.

"Please take a moment and read my article Why a Law Firm Secretly Recording Client Conversations Is Wrong (and Illegal), written last year, and ask yourself, "Would I hire this attorney?". . . 

Here are some steps you can take to explore a lawyer's reputation with clients.

1. Begin your search with Google, typing into the search bar: (name of attorney) and then add each of these search terms (do the search for each term separately)" . . .

2. Next, read Yelp comments, beginning with the one- and two-star reviews. While the four- and five-star comments will be interesting, even though it is illegal to falsify glowing praise, some lawyers are just like Jim Carey's character in the film Liar, Liar.  Red flags to watch for include comments such as: . . .

3. Check local court records to see what might not be covered in reviews. Has the lawyer been sued for malpractice? What was alleged? Was there a settlement? How much?

"Has the attorney been sued often for stupid things, like not paying the rent or the company that repairs office equipment or even paying employees their wages? People are consistent, and you don't need that craziness." . . .

4. Ask around. "If you have a court case and know someone who works in your local sheriff's department, ask if they know a court bailiff who would be able to share their assessment of the lawyer." . . .

5. Once you get to the interview phase, watch for more red flags.   "If the lawyer says, "I can guarantee we will win," run the other way. It is illegal for a lawyer to guarantee a result.

"If you can't get a reasonable answer to, "How much will you be charging me?" find someone who became a lawyer to help clients rather than think only of their bank balance."

Disagreement wasn’t answered. It was condemned. People weren’t debated anymore. Instead, they were simply dehumanized.

They didn’t do it alone. They had lots of help. The press nodded along. Universities eagerly enforced the rules. And before long, those ideas were pushed straight into classrooms. Kids barely old enough to read were being told what to think about their country, their history, and even their own parents.

All the while, the sneer never went away. Folks in coastal cities looking down their noses at anyone from a flyover state. Calling whole regions a landmass. Acting like places like Mississippi were something to apologize for rather than call home.

They scoffed at the country’s founding as if it were an old mistake. Talked openly about tearing down America’s basic structures and rebuilding something new. Then they flirted with socialism like it was progress, acting confused when people who value independence recoiled.

They pushed social experiments into schools, workplaces, and private spaces without asking. Bathrooms. Locker rooms. The idea that biology doesn’t matter anymore. And not just acceptance, but celebration. Go along, or be branded hateful.

And always, there was the tone. Forever the tone. The lectures. The scolding. The moral superiority. The message that disagreement wasn’t just incorrect, it was immoral.

Eventually, Americans had enough. Not in some revolutionary way. Just worn down. Tired of the never-ending drama. Tired of being told they were evil for believing what they’d believed their whole lives. Tired of being told to change just for the sake of change.

I’m from Ellisville, Mississippi. Just another small town dotting the landscape. But down here, folks know what that feels like. Like anyone, we are flawed people. But we work. We raise families. We go to church. We mind our business. And we don’t take kindly to being called names by people who’ve never set foot in our towns but somehow think they know better.

Trump wasn’t a philosophy. He wasn’t a manifesto. He was a correction.

A blunt response to a ruling class that refused to listen. A way of saying enough is enough. Not because Americans wanted chaos, but because they wanted respect. And maybe to be left alone.

That’s it. No mystery. No hysteria. Just cause and effect.

So you wanted drama, and boy, did you get it. You pushed. You scolded. You sneered. And in the end, the rest of us should probably be thankful.

Because nothing opened the eyes of average Americans like being lectured to by unemployed twenty-something-year-old hipsters and perpetually disgruntled liberal women. And nothing could have done it faster than watching them do it in real time. You liberals didn’t persuade people. You woke them up. You didn’t win hearts. You hardened them.

And without ever meaning to, you became your own undoing."

With the exception of a few on the right, European leaders have done their best to cover up the rape gangs, in which migrants routinely abuse young girls, some of them adolescents. Would American Democrats respond differently if it were happening here? The obvious answer is no. (And maybe it is already happening in our country, we just don’t know about it yet. We didn’t know about the daycare fraud in Minnesota and other states until a young independent journalist exposed it.)

The Europeans, as well as their American apologists, have also gone to great lengths to deny the existence of no-go zones, where “Muslims flood in, legally or illegally” and establish separate “communities where civil authorities dare not go.” The compromised and cowardly leaders on the continent are ignoring an “internal enemy that is destroying their countries,” says McGill University anthropology professor Philip Carl Salzman.

At the same time, migrants are capturing the West in chunks. French President Emmanuel Macron was handed last year a report that told him “Islamists are infiltrating France’s republican institutions and are a threat to national cohesion,” the BBC (shockingly) reported.

And then some of the more heinous crimes against children that are trafficked across the border that ICE and Border Patrol saw daily back when that border was out of control, over the past four years. I'll detail one for you, folks, that's truly heinous. Border Patrol agents there in the El Centro sector encountered, uh, a young child that was approximately three years of age, the child appeared to be drugged. Not with his parents. With strangers. 

Agents managed to wake the child up after doing what is known as a sternum rub, which is something that, which is a technique to wake someone up that may be induced by drugs. As the child woke up, we understood the child's parents were not, were not with him, and medical examination saw that this child had non-surgical sutures in his abdomen. Let me say that again. Non-surgical sutures in the child's abdomen. He was being trafficked across the border in that condition. That's not an isolated event with the U.S. Border Patrol where I face. We saw that many, many times. Drugged children, coming across the border, and guess what? Other than a couple of news outlets, I believe News Nation and Fox reported, nobody else would. "Last Thursday, Vice President JD Vance joined a White House press briefing to discuss initiatives the Trump administration is taking to investigate the pervasive welfare fraud that has been discovered in Minnesota. He was inevitably asked questions about the death of Renee Good after she attempted to drive her SUV over an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Vance described the media coverage of the death as “disgraceful,” and followed up with this question: “You guys are meant to report the truth. How have you let yourselves become agents of propaganda?” The collective response of the “reporters” was to disregard the question, but the answer is vital to the future of the republic.

"In a letter to the British philosopher Richard Price, Thomas Jefferson observed that “wherever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government.” Jefferson was, of course, an ardent advocate of a free press whose function would be to provide voters with accurate information about the government’s actions in order to assess the competence of their elected leaders. By that standard, it’s unlikely that the Sage of Monticello would dignify the corporate media with the appellation, “free press.” This term implies that, in addition to being free of government coercion, the press must be untrammeled by ideological prejudices which render it impossible to report facts objectively. Today’s corporate media have failed that test spectacularly.

That, despite the fictitious reports widely circulated by the corporate “news” media, is precisely what happened. This video, taken by the ICE officer she struck, clearly shows Good accelerating toward him before he fired on the SUV while trying to avoid being hit. *10 Signs of Sociopathy and How To Handle It . . ." 'Sociopath” is an outdated, harmful term once used to describe someone who’s been diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). Sociopathy itself isn’t a formal diagnosis. But the behaviors it describes are often part of the diagnostic criteria for ASPD. The most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5-TR) defines ASPD as a disorder that causes you to:

• Have a lack of empathy for others
• Disregard social norms
• Act impulsively without considering the consequences

"People living with ASPD often engage in consistent and repetitive abusive behaviors like gaslighting, manipulation and deceit — often without even knowing it or acknowledging it.

“We’ve turned away from using the term ‘sociopath’ because it’s been used in the past to demonize people,” explains Dr. Ford. “But in reality, someone who’s living with ASPD has a hard time developing empathy for other people. As a result, they may have a hard time trusting others and sometimes, fall into an isolated pattern of thinking.”

When confronted about their behavior, someone with ASPD may rely on misdirection, sarcasm, lying or invalidation to achieve their desired outcome.
