The Lone Juror: Even braver than we thought

 J.R. Dunn - American Thinker

"This is simply the latest of a series of own goals by the left, and we’ll be seeing plenty more to come. Eventually, moribund Republican Party aside, they’re going to create an effect."

"The revelation that the Holdout Juror was a “person of color” has sent the internet and the left as a whole into gyrations usually limited to taser victims.

"The revelation came on CBS Mornings. Reporter Gayle King was questioning the juror, an admitted “feminist,” when, in one of the most extraordinary exchanges you’ll ever see, it slowly became evident that the holdout was black. King, pulling tooth after tooth, asked if the juror was a “person of color,” then if he was a man, then if he was, like, y’know… the man?  When the juror answered “yes.” King stared at her aghast and then said, in a subdued voice, “I’ll have to sit with that for a moment.”

"This one fact has pretty much wrecked the case of Lindsay Clancy while gutting the entire campaign that the left-wing media was building around it. The assumption was that the juror was a white man -- a throwback, some kind of Christian, maybe even MAGA. (Note that the three jurors interviewed by NBC were careful to make no reference at all to the juror’s race.)

"The juror has wisely decided to keep his head down. The left may not be as lethal as the old KKK, but they are certainly as vicious.

"NBC Boston was the first to open fire with an “investigative report” that, without naming him, revealed a dismissed 2021 assault case, a divorce, and a restraining order taken out by a nephew. Of course, there are no details – why, those might identify him, and NBC would certainly never do a thing like that – but that, of course, also means that we can’t hear both sides of the story, and that there’s no way he can mount a defense. So this “investigation” amounts to nothing more than doxing – about what you’d expect from legacy media." . . . More.

Lindsay Clancy and the cuckoos

"The female foreman’s note to the judge about permanent deadlock is also cuckoo — to wit, “it is with a heavy heart that we report we are unable to come to a unanimous decision and will not be able to.”  “Heavy heart”?  How dare she invoke such emotion?  What a bunch of feminine fluff."
