Hillary's day so far

Why a Criminal Prosecution of Hillary Clinton Might Not Happen
. . . "The answer is not a simple one, despite the apparent gravity of Clinton’s actions. Attorney General Loretta Lynch must first agree to open a full-scale investigation, and the DOJ must then find evidence of Clinton’s criminal intent in order to prosecute. National-security lawyers say the decision to charge Clinton would depend largely on whether the offending documents were actually marked “classified.” But given the Justice Department’s history of foot-dragging in cases involving high-level government officials mishandling classified documents, Clinton may well avoid a criminal investigation altogether — much less a prosecution." . . .

Biden Poses With Sam Power, Who Called Hillary 'Monster'
" Joe Biden, who is considering a run for president, posed today in front of reporters with Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Should Biden decide to run for president, he'd face Hillary Clinton, whom Power called a "monster" in the 2008 campaign."

Tim Allen Just SLAMMED Hillary In A HUGE Way, I Knew I Loved This Guy
" For many of us, we remember him as Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor from the family comedy Home Improvement, but as it turns out, Tim Allen is a staunch right-winger. Even better yet, he just took aim at presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in a huge way – this is going to be awesome." . . .

Tim Allen Just SLAMMED Hillary In A HUGE Way, I Knew I Loved This Guy
. . . “We’re going to drill Hillary,” Allen said during a Television Critics Association Q&A session. “It will be horrible personally if Hillary continued [to lead the Democrats], but it will be great for the storyline if she continues.”

"Fortunately, no one is off the table for Allen, as GOP candidates could even find themselves on the receiving end of a few shots. Now, we can only imagine how nervous the heads are over at ABC, as they’ve already expressed a certain level of concern when it comes to Allen cracking jokes at President Barack Obama – especially when he refers to him as a communist."

NC County Commission Chairman Walks Out after Muslim Invocation

Breitbart
 Muslim
"On Monday night in Lincoln County, North Carolina, Lincoln County Commission Chairman Carrol Mitchem walked out of the commission’s meeting when the invocation started with a Muslim prayer." . . .
" Within the last week, nearby Rowan County filed an appeal of U.S. District Judge James Beaty’s May ruling that the county’s practice of starting meetings with Christian prayers violated the First Amendment. The judge’s decision was prompted by a lawsuit from the ACLU in 2013. The commission had previously decided to allow all faiths access to the invocation in order to avoid lawsuits."

Hard Truth for the GOP from its Base

 Political Cartoons by Steve Breen
American Thinker   " The failure of the Republican presidential field (with one notable exception) to stand with its own voters on the burning issue of our time -- mass uncontrolled and unresisted illegal immigration to America -- is one of the most infuriating examples of electoral incompetence in living memory. Not only is this issue central to the concerns of an overwhelming majority of regular Republican and conservative voters, but it is the issue most likely to carve off substantial numbers of regular Democratic voters.  In short, vigorously opposing the ongoing, unprecedented, presidentially invited and abetted invasion of America across its southern border is not only obviously the right policy for the country on its merits, but very possibly the only issue with the potential to carry the Republican nominee not merely to victory but to decisive victory." . . .Read more

Why doesn't President Obama address the nation about the climate change crisis?

"My guess is that President Obama is avoiding Congress (and public opinion) because he knows he's got a very weak hand."

 Political Cartoons by Henry Payne
Silvio Canto, Jr.   "President Obama is flying solo again, as The Wall Street Journal tells us:

Rarely do American Presidents display the raw willfulness that President Obama did Monday in rolling out his plan to reorganize the economy in the name of climate change. Without a vote in Congress or even much public debate, Mr. Obama is using his last 18 months to dictate U.S. energy choices for the next 20 or 30 years. This abuse of power is regulation without representation.
The so-called Clean Power Plan commands states to cut carbon emissions by 32% (from 2005 levels) by 2030. This final mandate is 9% steeper than the draft the Environmental Protection Agency issued in June 2014.
The damage to growth, consumer incomes and U.S. competitiveness will be immense—assuming the rule isn’t tossed by the courts or rescinded by the next Administration.
"Yes, what about the damage to the U.S. economy?
"What about the damage to the U.S. Constitution and the presidency?
"Let me make this suggestion to President Obama:

1) Address the nation, and tell us about the threat of climate change, in much the same way as previous presidents have spoken about problems.  Climate change is either a crisis or a lot of hot air.  Obama should treat it like a crisis if he believes that it is one.
2) Tell us how a failure to act will devastate our economy and national security and affect people all over the world.
3) Send Congress a proposal that he can eventually sign into law.
"Why won't he do any of this?  Why won't he make his case to the American people?
"My guess is that President Obama is avoiding Congress (and public opinion) because he knows he's got a very weak hand.
"In other words, all of this climate change doom and gloom sounds good until you actually put it to a debate."

Epic fail: Donald Trump turns Gawker cell phone attack into campaign gold

Joe Newby
Gawker thought it would humiliate Trump, but ends up on losing end of the stick.

Gawker thought it would humiliate Trump, but ends up on losing end of the stick.

"Gawker should have known better than to take on a media-savvy mogul like Donald Trump. On Monday, the publication released Trump's cell phone number in an apparent effort to humiliate him for releasing Sen. Lindsey Graham's number. But, Breitbart.com reported Tuesday, Trump turned the tables, using his cell phone as a tool to get out his campaign message.

" 'Thank you @gawker!" Trump tweeted. "Call me on my cellphone 917.756.8000 and listen to my campaign message." Now, thanks to Gawker, everyone who calls the number can hear Trump's message. We tested the number and sure enough, Trump can be heard telling callers how they can help "make America great." The voicemail box is full, however, so no one can leave a message.

" 'So what cellphone number do we use to book an interview with you, sir?" one person asked. "The Donald Trumps the Commie Journalist," another person tweeted. "It's evident considering the epic media fails in this orchestrated attempt to destroy Trump!" a third person declared." . . .

Thanks de Blasio! Crime Wave Hits Central Park
"Demonizing Police and empowering hoodlums works like a charm, every time"
"Under Democratic Mayor de Blasio’s tutelage, a crime wave has settled over Manhattan’s iconic green space. Beleaguered by muggers and other hoodlums, Central Parks is no longer the safe haven in the middle of Manhattan that it once was.

"With no substantive ideas or plans to curb the sudden onset of violence, Central Park’s degeneration seems be an indefinite, yet completely preventable misfortune.

"The New York Post has chronicled the increase of criminal activity in NYC’s beloved park where muggings have doubled from this time last year." . . .

Watcher's Council's Weasel Of The Week Nominees!

https://nicedeb.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/weasel.jpgNice Deb  "It’s time once again for the Watcher’s Council’s ‘Weasel Of The Week’ nominations, where we pick our choices to compete for the award of the famed Golden Weasel to a public figure who particularly deserves to be slimed and mocked for his or her dastardly deeds during the week. Every Tuesday morning, tune in for the Weasel of the Week nominations!

"Here are this weeks’ nominees…." Excerpts of the nominations below:

1. GOP RINO Heir Apparent Governor Jeb Bush!

https://i1.wp.com/www.cafeconlecherepublicans.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Debbie-Wasserman-Schultz.jpg2.  DNC Head,Obama Groupie And Walking Blonde Joke Debbie Wasserman-Schultz!\
. . . "With the likes of brain trusts like Joe Biden and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, you can see why the Democrats have fallen to the Marxists. The stupid are easily infiltrated and overthrown from within. As Charles Payne said, the Debster couldn’t answer the question because there is no difference between the Democrats and Socialists. None." . . .

3. City Councilman and illegal migrant enabler Jhonny Pineda!
. . . "Pineda just announced the appointment of two illegal immigrants to serve as commissioners on the city’s advisory boards.
"Francisco Medina was appointed as Commissioner of the health and education commission and Julian Zatarain will laud over the parks and recreation commission." . . .

4. The ICE Otay Detention Center  " My nominee for Weasel of the Week is the ICE Otay Detention Center who are still detaining 27 Iraqi Christian refugees in the San Diego area. The 27 men, women and children fled Iraq earlier this year after ISIS took over the territory where they used to live. Members of the local Iraqi Christian community said that the government knows full well that the people being held are not criminals."
. . .  “These are people that have escaped ISIS, escaped slavery and refused to convert, only to be imprisoned by ICE with no explanation,” said local Iraqi Chaldean Christian leader Mark Arabo who appeared on Hannity on 8/3/15." . . .

"Well, there it is. What a despicable group of  Weasels…ANY OF THEM COULD WIN! Check back Thursday to see which Weasel walks off with the statuette of shame!"

Kill Dylann Roof

David Lawrence   . . . "Killing Roof won’t bring his victims back.  That’s impossible.  It will say that the crime was so horrible that to look on the killer kindly would be encouraging future killers to kill, as if their crimes didn’t matter.

"Every day I pick up a newspaper and pick up another story about a shooting.  This should not be.  The more we punish the killers, the more we admit that crime is wrong.

"How irresponsible to have a society where forgiveness supersedes punishment and violence is encouraged by its lack of penalties.  The families of the dead at Charleston owe it to the rest of society to petition for the death penalty.

"Lame, academic sociologists feel that the death penalty  doesn’t inhibit crimes.  Why don’t they go to death row and visit with prisoners who are constantly writing legal briefs to get their sentences commuted to life in jail?
No one wants to die.  And murderers' aversion to their own deaths is the reason why they must be executed: to discourage future murders.

"If I killed someone, I wouldn’t want to be forgiven.  Criminals tend to have more honor than academics.

"Liberals don’t know how to fight evil and the milieu of evil.  Kindness toward evil turns the scales of justice on the side of evil."

Flashback: Obama Supported Coal Plants – Before 2008

http://comicallyincorrect.com/2014/06/05/obama-epa-regulations/

Sweetness & Light   "But that was when he was running for office. He’s been elected and re-elected now.
"From the July 2008 archives of USA Today:

Obama shifts stance on environmental issues

By Ken Dilanian | July 18, 2008
WASHINGTON — In May 1998, at the urging of the state’s coal industry, the Illinois Legislature passed a bill condemning the Kyoto global warming treaty and forbidding state efforts to regulate greenhouse gases. Barack Obama voted "aye."
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee now calls climate change "one of the greatest moral challenges of our generation," and proposes cutting carbon emissions 80% by 2050. But as a state senator, from 1997 to 2004, he usually supported bills sought by coal interests, according to legislative records and interviews…
Obama, who touts his independence from special interests, made a point of embracing the coal industry as part of his quest for statewide office. When he ran for U.S. Senate in 2004, he was flanked by mine workers to proclaim that "there’s always going to be a role for coal" in Illinois.
"He understands how important coal is to the state of Illinois and to the Midwest," said Illinois state Rep. Dan Reitz, a Democrat and former coal miner who sponsored the anti-Kyoto language and campaigned for Obama during the West Virginia primary.

LIBERALISM: Goes From “Mainstreaming Dumb” To “Mainstreaming Crazy”

Screen Shot 2015-08-04 at 11.17.57 AM

John Hawkins at Townhall   . . . "If there is a part of America that’s important or works, liberals are systematically trying to destroy it. We HAD – emphasis on the word HAD – the best healthcare system in the world before Obamacare. Under Obama’s incompetent leadership, the economy STILL hasn’t recovered from the housing crash of 2007. Marriage was already in trouble; so rather than trying to fix it, liberals were like, “Hey, let’s kick that all the way down the stairs with gay marriage! Then we’ll push a refrigerator down the stairs behind it with polygamy next!” Despite the fact that we now have the first black president, his supporters have spent practically his entire presidency trying to create race riots and foment hatred between black and white Americans.

"As a rule, liberals support stupid, counter-productive policies that do more harm than good to the country." . . .
To have so many Americans embracing this kind of depravity and madness doesn’t bode well for the future of the country.

Life with Obama: U.S. Pays Black Comedian to Deliver Anti-White Racist Tirade at Fed Agency

Is there no Obama voter out there who is sick of this administration? Is there no Republican candidate that will speak in anger at what Democrats have done to this nation?
Gregory

Judicial Watch  "The U.S. government paid a controversial civil rights activist/comedian to deliver an anti-white racist tirade at a major federal agency during Black History month and Judicial Watch has obtained the disturbing transcript of the offensive political rant.

"It took place at the United States Census Bureau earlier this year and the paid speaker was Dick Gregory, a self-professed humanitarian and drum major for justice who claims that his social satire changed the way white Americans perceive African American comedians. But Gregory’s angry outburst at the Census Bureau was not funny to some employees and the agency was forced to explain that it will thoroughly review its procedures for selecting future speakers to “ensure their views are appropriate for the federal workplace.”

"Based on Gregory’s well-known reputation as a fiery race-baiter, it’s unlikely that the government officials who booked him didn’t know about his discriminating, shock-based performances. The Census Bureau paid Gregory $1,400 to “share a wealth of history as a Civil Rights Activist,” according to the records obtained by JW under the federal public records law known as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Instead, American taxpayers funded a disgusting stand-up routine filled with the “N word” and replete with conspiracy theories about whites and the U.S. government targeting prominent blacks—including Martin Luther King and Malcom X—for assassination or career destruction (golfer Tiger Woods and beleaguered comedian Bill Cosby)." . . .
" . . . advised his black audience not to obey “white racist cops,” which he also referred to as “filth.”
The rioters who destroyed Ferguson after a cop fatally shot a black man with an extensive criminal record who had just committed a robbery, didn’t steal enough merchandise from the businesses they looted, Gregory told his government audience. “I was complaining about Ferguson because the N_ _ _ _ _ _ wasn’t getting enough,” Gregory said, according to the transcript obtained by JW. “Did you see the brother go in there and walk out with a half-pint, I said ‘Get some tips.’ And, y’all be trying to trick them White folks and say rebellion. No rebellion is put together, predicated, on some White person shooting a Black person and that tips it off. Those was riots, riots.”
Related:  Farrakhan Tells Blacks To ‘Rise Up and Kill’ If His Demands Aren’t Met; Is This War?
"The infamous leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, made a chilling call for violence after the group provided a list of demands. It’s only adding fuel to the already raging inferno around race relations in America.
" . . . Referencing the Quran, Farrakhan said that “retaliation” is commanded by Allah in cases where people have been persecuted, as “persecution is worse than slaughter.' ”

After Obergefell, can Christians withstand the pressure to change their teachings?

http://terrellaftermath.com/
http://terrellaftermath.com/
Culture Witness   " Post-Obergefell, the war for the heart and soul of Christianity has begun in earnest. Less than a week after Emperor Anthony Kennedy issued his fiat of 'love conquers the Constitution', the Episcopal Church rushed to rescue their dinner party invitations. They quickly voted themselves into the new era, approving same-sex weddings and replacing the outdated and homophobic words "man and woman" with "couple" in their marriage canons." . . .(Published previously here)

I’ll Cry on Saturday, but I’ll Laugh on Sunday (July 2015) " . . . I can only weep at the decision of the nation’s highest court to somehow discover a Constitutional right to same-sex marriage that, for all intents and purposes—at least at the federal level—leaves in question the freedom of institutions (such as the church, not to mention Christian colleges and seminaries) to disagree and remain tax-exempt, much less to receive government accreditation and funding for student aid." . . .
On Saturday, we were lamenting the decision. But then this response came back from one friend, who happens to be a U. S. Senator: “Yes, it’s a big disappointment, but tomorrow’s Sunday, Christ is risen, and ‘trust not in princes.’”
