Internet marketing company cancels accounts of Trump supporters, refuses service to Republicans, Trump voters

Joe Newby

Blanchfield CEO of 1st SEO bans Trump supporters

"Shortly after the November election, Mathew D. Blanchfield, CEO of the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based 1st in SEO announced that accounts belonging to supporters of President-elect Donald J. Trump would be canceled and the company would refuse to do business with Republicans and Trump supporters.
“ 'America has elected Donald Trump, a racist, sexist, fascist, to be our next president. 1st In SEO will no longer do business with any person that is a registered Republican or supports Donald Trump,” Blanchfield said in a blog post at the company’s website.
“ '1st In SEO will also not do business with business interests that support either the Republican Party or Donald Trump. 1st In SEO obviously has no actual means of determining our clients’ or prospective clients’ political standing. We will rely on the integrity of the men and women who are our clients currently to find another Search Engine Optimization provider if they are Republicans, voted for Donald Trump or support Donald Trump. If you are a Republican, voted for Donald Trump or support Donald Trump, in any manner, you are not welcome at 1st In SEO and we ask you to leave our firm.' ” . . .

. . . "And it seems Blanchfield’s actions may be legal, the Daily Caller reported:

"While it’s illegal for most businesses in the U.S. to discriminate on the basis of sex, religion, or race, there are no federal laws barring discrimination based on political ideology. A handful of states prohibit such discrimination. New Mexico isn’t one of them.

"The State Supreme Court, however, did side with plaintiffs who sued a photographer who refused to work a same-sex wedding. Perhaps that case could be used as a template, since Blanchfield’s business appears to be available to the public." . . .

Iraq: Kurds Replace Cross Destroyed by ISIS

iOTWreport  "ISIS has been a menace in Iraq and Syria. Unfortunately
for people there, President Obama has done nothing but sit on his hands.
He allowed ISIS to flourish.
"Thankfully, the Iraqis have beaten back ISIS and retaken a church in Bashiqa, Iraq
where they restored a cross to the top after ISIS was forced out!
"The video for this is pretty inspiring. Check it out!

"These are things we sometimes take for granted in the United States. These
Christians are always under the threat of DEATH for how they worship. In this
case, Kurdish fighters and local  people made a showing that they’re not afraid
of ISIS."

Electoral College Revolt Brewing? "A Republic. How does it work?"

"Democrats aren’t limiting tumult to their own side of the Electoral College. There’ve been numerous reports of Republican Electors receiving death threats from Hillary supporters:" . . .
Legal Insurrection  "As half the country learned two weeks ago, we do not select our president by popular vote, our president is selected by Electors in our Electoral College; a safeguard against pure democratic rule.

"As far as modern history is concerned, Elector’s votes are typically congruent with their respective state’s popular vote.

"Now, a handful of Democratic electors are threatening to vote their conscience:

. . . "One Michigan Elector, Michigan Young Republicans Chairman Mike Banerian, was forced to file a police report after his voice mail filled up with terrifying messages. “You have people saying ‘you’re a hateful bigot, I hope you die,’ ” Banerian told the Detroit News.
“ 'I’ve had people talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out. And I’ve received dozens and dozens of those emails. Even the non-threatening-my-life emails are very aggressive.' ” . . .

This map, which, fails to show all-red Alaska, tells us which portion of America would choose our President should the Electoral College be replaced by a popular vote:

Or, to put it another way, in the satellite photo below the very brightest clusters of lights will choose the President. Candidates will no longer care to campaign in other areas nor to be concerned with their issues.

The Hysterical Left Is Making NeverTrumpers Reconsider

"Then you're making one hell of a good case that Trump is less of a threat to democracy than his opponents."
PJ Media  . . . "So let's just be clear. I don't particularly like Trump. I didn't vote for Trump. I preferred him over Clinton, marginally, because Trump wasn't an outright criminal whose primary defense was that her political cronies refused to prosecute, and because I thought (as Glenn Reynolds has suggested) that I could depend on the press to at least actually scrutinize what Trump's administration was doing.
Well, in the intervening couple of weeks, I've seen:
  • violent protests against Trump
  • brutal assaults against Trump supporters
  • death threats against Trump, Mike Pence, and their families
  • concerted attempts to suborn the election by petitioning electors to change their votes, including by doxxing electors and overtly making repeated death threats against them,
  • and open plans to to not just protest, but to disrupt, Trump's inauguration.

Tim Allen Slams Anti-Bullying Hollywood Bullies Who Bully Trump Supporters

"The artist wishes to remain anonymous"

PJ Media  "Tim Allen is one of the last conservatives standing in Hollywood.

"Sure, the industry still has Jon Voight, Robert Davi and Scott Baio, but Allen is out there punching back every week through his ABC sitcom "Last Man Standing." The show regularly features little digs at the Left, one of the rare shows to even attempt that approach.

"You know, fair and balanced.

'Now, Allen is lashing out at his peers over the shock election of Donald Trump. He opened up about Trump and his colleagues' reaction to him defeating Hillary Clinton during a Fox News interview by Megyn Kelly.
“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully," Allen said. "But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a little bit hypocritical to me."

"Allen isn't the only comedian who feels that way. Heather McDonald recently said anyone thinking of voting for Trump in Hollywood might find their next gig at risk.
"Does anyone doubt other comics have similar stories? And why aren't the usual suspects furious at this clampdown on free speech?" . . .

The Silent Minority – Conservatives in the Arts  . . . "There are some people in Hollywood who are openly right leaning. Clint Eastwood, David Mamet, Jon Voight and Gary Sinise come to mind, but those are people with star power. A mid-level staffer at a non-profit arts organization has no such advantage.
"The cast of Hamilton is certainly entitled to free speech but I’ll leave you with this thought from Larry O’Connor:
My former colleagues in the theatre industry claim they want to foster discussion and they hope for a dialogue about these issues, but they are being disingenuous, at best. They don’t want a dialogue, they want a monologue.
That’s what we saw on Friday night from the stage on 46th street. A monologue. A speech. A lecture. It was patronizing and it was condescending and there was no room for rebuttal.

Another day, another policeman shot in the head

"So don't expect anyone in the MSM to connect these cowardly ambushes (only the most recent, but hardly the only ones) to the violent rhetoric of Black Lives Matter or to those marching and chanting "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon!' "*
Police officer Collin Rose (pictured) is in a 'grave' condition after being shot in DetroitUK Daily Mail  "A police officer has undergone potentially lifesaving surgery after he was shot in the head while on duty near a college in downtown Detroit.

"Collin Rose, 29, was shot just a few blocks from Wayne State University about 6.45pm on Tuesday, and was then rushed to the Detroit Receiving Hospital for surgery.
"He is now listed as being in a critical, but stable, condition and is recovering with his family. Rose has been with the force for about five years.

"Deangelo Davis (pictured, left) had been named as a person of interest in the shooting, according to ClickOn Detroit, before he was taken into custody about 9:45pm.

"The officer was shot shortly after radioing to say he was approaching a man while investigating car robberies." . . .

The case of the missing narrative  . . . "But the respective races of the perps and their victims have hardly been shouted from the rooftops – certainly not the way race would figure – and has figured – in any story in which the police did the shooting.  When the cops do the shooting and the person shot is anything but white, the narrative is straight out of the Ministry of Propaganda mainstream media playbook: cops are, like American society at large, inherently, intrinsically racist, and they go out each and every day looking for minorities, particularly blacks, to shoot for no reason whatsoever. " . . .

Chants at an Anti-Police Rally: 'What's Better Than 14 Dead Cops? 15 Dead Cops!'

"[Warning: this video contains adult language and disturbing content.]"   Video

"This is pretty definitive proof that the the Black Lives Matter and anti-Trump movements are anti-police. And it's one thing to not like our men and women in blue, but these protesters, in Austin, Texas, were actually calling for the killing of police officers. This is so beyond offensive, and is not how our system should work."

Obama never did this. However, Obama did send five representatives to robber Michael Brown’s funeral in Ferguson.

National Review: The Left’s Double Standard Discounts Cop-Killings
"Where is the progressive outrage when police officers are murdered?"
"Pro-life protesters who condemn all violence are blamed for the bloody attacks of their more fanatical fellow travelers. Why, then, is a movement that actually incites riots and venerates murderers subject to fawning coverage in both mainstream and progressive media outlets? To read the “Black Lives Matter” tags at ThinkProgress and the Huffington Post is to enter a bizarro world, where America is a cauldron of racial hatred and the real problem of anti-police violence is the way in which “right-wing commentators” use it to advance the “War on Cops myth.' ”

Good grief.

Liberals Are Losing Their Minds

Power Line Blog  "A couple days ago I wandered into the Berkeley Bowl Market, which is where upscale hippiedom of Berkeley shops for its fair-trade kale and such. Oh my! The experience does not disappoint. The people watching was even better than the Whole Foods in Boulder, which was the size of a Home Depot. One of these days I’ll take a hidden video camera for some candid shots. Maybe I’ll wear a “Make America Great Again” cap just to watch people  clear out of the unsafe food space faster than a botulism scare.
"Over at The Federalist, David Marcus relates the amazing story of what happened at a crunchy food co-op in Brooklyn when “Sweet Home Alabama” came on the store’s background music rotation:
After getting our Brazilian Arabica ground for drip (I know, I should really use a French Press), Libby and I walked towards the organic maple syrup. That’s when it started. I suppose there had been music playing in the store, but I hadn’t noticed until a familiar guitar lick pierced the air and a soft voice said, “Turn it up.”
Libby and I both stopped and looked at each other. “Seriously?” said my wife, a very disappointed Clinton supporter. She started gripping her soft Tomme Crayeuse a little too hard. By the time Ronnie Van Zant’s drawl started in with “Big wheels keep on turnin’,” everyone in the store was standing in shock. Brows were furrowed, people mumbled to each other. The song seemed to get louder as one of those New York moments happened, when everyone was thinking the exact the same thing.
A woman in her fifties, wearing a Love Trump Hates button, turned to her Brooklyn-bearded husband and said loudly, “This is unbelievable!” She found the nearest store clerk, a young woman in a green apron who was staring up at the ceiling, looking for the invisible speakers blaring this message from the other America. “This is so inappropriate,” the woman said. “Can we turn this off?”
"Just wait until Trump has “Dueling Banjos” played at his inauguration."

Town Renames "Good Friday" for the sake of "Cultural Sensitivity" UPDATED

They never touch the Muslim holidays, do they? When was the last time you saw a liberal lawmaker launch a crusade to rename Ramadan?

Todd Starnes  "Whenever you hear a liberal talking about cultural diversity and sensitivity it normally means something insensitive is about to happen to Christians.
"The latest case in point: Bloomington, Indiana - the home of Indiana University and a nesting place for a gaggle of intolerant liberals.
"Mayor John Hamilton recently announced that are renaming two paid holidays for city workers -- in an effort to respect "differing cultures."
"Columbus Day will henceforth be known as "Fall Holiday" and Good Friday will be known as "Spring Holiday."
"Mayor John Hamilton told Fox 59 the name change will “better reflect cultural sensitivity in the workplace.”
"According to our Fox television affiliate -- some folks around town got upset when City Hall posted a closing sign referencing specific holidays.
“ 'As a mayor we are in charge of government. We do not set religious policies, we are not supposed to be part of religion and we are just trying to make sure that our government is open to all people and inclusive,” the mayor told the television station.
"And apparently the only way to achieve cultural diversity and sensitivity is by disrespecting Italians and Christians." . . .
