"Village idiot loses her mind in response."
I see Mrs. Obama as being hyper-sensitive about racism after her complaint over being asked to help a lady in the grocery store. So if she doesn't see racism in this book, well....
I'm convinced that this librarian was looking for anything to justify a put-down to the First Family for her personal aggrandizement and praise from the academic community.
She speaks of how many books her library has, so I suggest she contribute some of them to those needy schools she names. The Tunnel Dweller

"No good deed goes unpunished … or in the case of First Lady Melania Trump, disrespected and rejected. Tuesday was National Read a Book Day, and in that spirit Mrs. Trump chose and gifted books to 50 schools, one from each state. Included with the books was a note from Mrs. Trump highlighting Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” and noting, as the White House releaseindicates, that it’s “one of her personal favorites that she and her son have read together over and over.”
"Millions of Americans have fond memories of reading Dr. Seuss books as children or to their children. In fact, Barack Obama himself was quite fond of the books and praised them before a group of students in 2015, saying, “Pretty much all the stuff you need to know is in Dr. Seuss.”
"But a librarian from Cambridgeport Elementary School in Massachusetts doesn’t share Obama’s or Mrs. Trump’s appreciation for the good doctor’s literary talents. No, it seems that Dr. Seuss was, what else, a racist. Upon receiving the books from Mrs. Trump, school librarian Liz Phipps Soeiro penned a rejection letter in which she claimed that Dr. Seuss’ stories and illustrations were “steeped in racist propaganda, caricatures and harmful stereotypes.” She concluded her letter with the following backhanded compliment:" . . .
This librarian is overflowing with self-righteousness, as pretty much most liberals are. Good grief; in my liberal days when Jim Crow was being fought, was I just like that? The Tunnel Dweller.
Virtue-signaling self-absorbed librarian rejects outstretched hand of first lady Melania Trump . . . "Her close just drips with condescension, in a final display of virtue, assigning a reading list and a recommendation that she get professional help, because, you see, the indoctrination hasn’t worked out well yet." . . .
. . . I nominate this blog post for the Virtue Signaling Hall of Fame, a website that someone should create."
Save The Children by Tony Branco "This week, an elementary school librarian called Dr. Seuss books “racist propaganda” leaving parents thinking that maybe it’s time to homeschool."
