Root causes of the #WalkAway movement

"#WalkAway Mission: Encourage others to #WalkAway from the Democrat Party through the restoration of the people's voice, a return to our founding principles, and support of politicians who personify #WalkAway values.

Long disappointed in the Democrat Party, the Biden Democrat Party was the final straw for so many including the founders of this movement, Brandon Straka and Cait Corrigan. TD

"Truth!
We tolerated President Obama for 8 years and kept quiet. Here is my issue with the whole, “let us all be a United States again” that we heard from President Biden. For the last 4+ years, the Democrats have gone and scorched earth. You have salted the fields and now you want to grow crops. The problem is 75+ million of us have memories longer than a hamster.
We remember the women’s march (vagina hats 😂 and all) the day after inauguration.
We remember the 4 years of attacks and impeachments.
We remember “not our president” and the “Resistance…”
We remember Maxine Walters telling followers to harass us in restaurants.
We remember the Presidents spokesperson being kicked out a restaurant.
We remember hundreds of Trump supporters physically attacked.
We remember Trump supporters getting Doxed, and fired from jobs.
We remember riots, and looting.
We remember “a comedian” holding up the President’s severed head.
We remember a play in Central park paid with public funding, showing the killing of President Trump.
We remember Robert de Niro yelling “F" Trump” at the Tony’s and getting a standing ovation.
We remember Nancy Pelosi tearing up the State of the Union Address.
We remember the total in the tank move on the mainstream media.
We remember the non-stop and live fact checking on our President and his supporters.
We remember non-stop in your face lies and open cover-ups from the media.
We remember the President and his staff being spied on.
We remember five Senators shot on a ballfield.
We remember every so-called comedy show turn into nothing but Trump hate fest.
We remember 95% negative coverage in the news.
We remember the state governors asking and getting everything they ask for and then blaming Trump for their problems.
We remember a Trump top aid verbally assaulted in two DC restaurants.
We remember people banging on the Supreme Court doors.
We remember that we were called every name in the book for supporting President Trump.
We remember that Hollywood said they would leave after Trump was elected but they stayed.
We remember being called Nazis
We remember being called Deplorables
We remember being called Fascists
We remember our sitting President calling us "garbage" and Kamala (and the media) trying to tell us to "get past it because Biden doesn't matter anymore"
This list is endless, but you get the idea. My friends will be my friends, but a party that has been on the attack for 4 long years does not get a free pass with me.
I will never give the Democrats a break for all the trouble they’ve caused. They’ve dug a very very deep hole and it’s going to take a very long time for them to crawl out of it."

‘Elon’s Nazi Salute’ Marks First Media Hoax of Trump’s Second Term

 John Nolte; Breitbart

UPDATE, 1/21 70pm est;CNN's New Star Talks Trump's Inauguration Speech, Absolutely Skewers the Biden Administration  . . ."There's real work to be done in this country. This stupid game Murphy is attempting to play doesn't work anymore, and it's an insult to Americans who expect their politicians to work for them instead of virtue-signaling for the too-online far-left. Newsflash: The legacy media doesn't have a monopoly on information anymore, which is why the claims about Musk were debunked almost immediately. Murphy can continue to beclown himself if he'd like, but all he's doing is showing exactly why his party got its tail whipped in November.

Right; the leader who had the nerve to move the US embassy to Jerusalem; who has brought joy to the leaders of Israel for assuming America's Presidency is leader of a Nazi movement.

They clipped the hand raise to isolate it from many gestures he made. Here it is in context.

"The regime media wasted no time launching its Hoax Machine. Within hours of Donald Trump being sworn in as our 47th president, these disgraced and increasingly irrelevant serial liars tried to fool America into believing Elon Musk threw out a couple of Nazi salutes.

"What Musk did was not at all confusing to decent people. Speaking to a crowd of Trump supporters Monday at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, he said, “I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you.”

"Then he touches his heart and makes a gesture throwing his heart out to the crowd. Then he literally says, “Thank you. My heart goes out to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured, thanks to you.”

"CNN just lost a defamation suit and here are a couple of CNN’s basement-ratings harpies defaming Elon Musk by removing all of the context from the moment — and by “context,” I mean the audio where he says “My heart goes out to you.” Without the only context that matters, of course, it looks like a Nazi salute.

"CNN sucks.

Biden ends his presidency with hypocritical and terribly dangerous pardons

Andrea Widburg

. . ."The last thing I would do is let congresspeople ask the questions because the politicians will just bloviate and bluster. Instead, Republicans need to find the sharpest, best prosecutors in America to make sure that Fauci, Cheney, Milley, et al. tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, with no hiding behind squirrely language or bad memories."

. . ."Naturally, Biden wrapped the pardons in language saying that the people pardoned would be unfairly persecuted:

Our nation relies on dedicated, selfless public servants every day. They are the lifeblood of our democracy.

Yet alarmingly, public servants have been subjected to ongoing threats and intimidation for faithfully discharging their duties.

In certain cases, some have even been threatened with criminal prosecutions, including General Mark A. Milley, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, and the members and staff of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions.

"This is rich coming from an administration that, working on its own and in conjunction with corrupt state prosecutors and even corrupt bar associations, did everything possible to destroy anyone who was or worked for Trump. It’s also the same administration that has conducted a Soviet-style purge against almost 2,000 Americans for daring to assemble at the Capitol and, when the Capitol police opened the Capitol’s sealed doors, walking reverently through the building.

"But aside from the disgusting hypocrisy and the problem of pardoning a military officer who could rightly be charged with treason for boasting that he would consult with the Chinese before following an order from his Commander-in-Chief, there’s a greater danger in what Biden did with his preemptive pardons.

"Our nation is founded on the Rule of Law. Our Constitution is the bulwark for a government that is constrained by a contract with the People and the legal principles that flow from that contract. However, Biden created a new precedent that undercuts the rule of law entirely and unleashes the executive branch in a way that threatens to undermine the Constitution." . . .

The British Media Chimes In: Kamala's 'Devastating Humiliation'

RedState

"While today is America's day, it's interesting to watch what the rest of the world's media thinks of our affairs. In some ways, the British and Australian media give us more detailed and accurate reporting on American political affairs than the American legacy media does — not that this is a difficult hurdle to surmount.

"The UK Daily Mail, on Monday, was focused not only on the incoming President Trump but on his former electoral opponent — and her "final humiliation."

Kamala Harris faced her final devastating humiliation on Monday as she was forced to watch Donald Trump being inaugurated as President of the United States.

Harris looked grim-faced and forlorn as she arrived at the ceremony on Capitol Hill, failing to raise a smile as she walked in with President Joe Biden.

She kept her thoughts to herself but to onlookers it appeared as though she was quietly fuming as her time as Vice President came to a brutal end.

"The schadenfreude, it is strong with this one. And the 45th and 47th President of the United States didn't let her off easily." . . .

Karma: Brett Kavanaugh Delivers Fitting Coup de Grace to Kamala Harris' Failed Presidential Candidacy  . . ."The second time around had to be the most painful (and humiliating) of all for her, however, considering she lost not just to the Democrats' arch nemesis but also because it was Justice Kavanaugh who swore in her replacement on Monday as she looked on:

6 years ago, presidential hopeful Kamala Harris helped spread false accusations against Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation process. Today, Justice Kavanaugh stands in front of Kamala Harris while swearing in Vice President JD Vance.

Trump announces executive actions on immigration, DEI, energy ahead of inauguration

 NPR

"Trump is expected to declare a national emergency at the U.S. southern border, designate criminal cartels as terror groups and end birthright citizenship for children born to immigrant parents without legal status, according to incoming White House officials who spoke to reporters on a call on condition of background.Trump will also reinstate the "Remain in Mexico" policy, which would require some asylum seekers at the southern border to wait in Mexico for their hearings in U.S. immigration court, the officials said.

"The moves are some of 10 sweeping executive actions on border security that incoming officials say Trump plans to sign on Monday:

  1. Declare a national emergency at the border: The officials on the call said this action will allow U.S. armed forces to finish the border wall and allow the secretary of defense to deploy members of the armed forces and National Guard to the border.
  2. "Clarify" the military's role in border security: This action "directs the military to prioritize our borders" and protect territorial integrity "by repelling forms of invasion, including unlawful mass migration, narcotics trafficking, human smuggling and trafficking and other criminal activities," the officials said.
  3. End "catch and release," continue building the wall, and end "Remain in Mexico"
  4. Designate criminal cartels as terrorists: This will allow the U.S. to more easily remove members of groups like Tren de Aragua, a transnational criminal organization from Venezuela, and MS-13.
  5. Suspend refugee resettlement: The official said the U.S. would suspend refugee resettlement for at least four months.
  6. End asylum and close the border to those without legal status via proclamation: Officials said they are planning to end asylum entirely and close the border to those without legal status via proclamation, "which creates an immediate removal process without possibility of asylum."
  7. End birthright citizenship: The officials said the White House plans to end birthright citizenship, which is enshrined in the 14th Amendment. They argued the amendment does not recognize automatic birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to parents without legal status. This action is likely to see immediate legal challenges.
  8. Enhance vetting and screening: The officials said they are going to "enhance vetting and screening of illegal aliens."
  9. "Protect American citizens against invasion": Officials said this "equips agents and officers of ICE and CBP with the authorities" they need to deport people from the U.S.
  10. Restore the death penalty: "This action in particular, directs the Attorney General to seek capital punishment for the murder of law enforcement officers and capital crimes committed by illegal aliens. It encourages state agencies and district attorneys to bring capital state charges for these crimes," the officials said.

Defining 'sex' and ending DEI programs Trump will sign an executive action on Monday that says it's the policy of the United States to recognize two biologically distinct sexes — male and female — an incoming White House official speaking on background told reporters Monday.

National energy emergency and "electric vehicle mandate  . . ."The action will end what incoming Trump officials call the "electric vehicle mandate" and will end "efforts to curtail consumer choice on the things that consumers use every single day, whether it be showerheads, whether it be gas stoves, whether it be dishwashers and the like," the official said." . . .

Iranian Mullahs About to Face a Trump Tornado

 Struan Stevenson; Townhall

[former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo . . .painted a bleak picture for the mullahs, stating that the fall of Bashar al-Assad was a precursor for the fall of the theocratic Iranian regime:

"The Iranian regime is at its weakest point since Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini hijacked the 1979 revolution to seize power. Their Shi’ite axis of resistance in Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon has crumbled with the decapitation of Hamas and Hezbollah and the fall of the brutal Assad regime. Even Vladimir Putin was unable to save their mutual friend and ally – Bashar al-Assad - from overthrow. Now they face the daunting prospect of another four years with Donald Trump in charge in America. He will hold the mullahs to account. He has appointed General Keith Kellogg, former National Security Advisor to Vice President Mike Pence, as his envoy for Ukraine and Russia.

"Addressing a National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) conference in Paris on Saturday, 11 January, General Kellogg said: “For the United States, a policy of maximum pressure must be reinstated, and it must be reinstated with the help of the rest of the globe, and that includes standing with the Iranian people and their aspirations for democracy.”He said that for Iran’s 95 million population, “2025 is the year for Hope, Action, and Change”. As a member of President Trump’s incoming White House team, General Kellogg's remarks were an Important Indication of the new administration's policy on Iran.

"Several distinguished former prime ministers, ministers, diplomats, and generals had also gathered in Paris to speak in support of a robust policy on Iran, expressing support for the main democratic opposition to the mullahs’ theocratic regime and showing their support for the charismatic and courageous NCRI leadership of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi. The mullahs’ predictable reaction to the Paris conference was absolute hysteria. They even summoned the French ambassador to remonstrate with him for allowing the conference to take place. This is the best possible indication of the success of the conference and the disintegrating weakness of the theocratic regime."

State Farm makes major policy U-turn following devastating LA fires

UK Daily Mail

"State Farm will offer renewals to policyholders affected by the devastating wildfires that it had previously planned to drop. In a major U-turn, the insurance company said it would renew policies in the badly-hit Pacific Palisades neighborhood , alongside thousands more in Los Angeles county, The LA Times reported. However, the offer does not apply to policies that had already lapsed when the deadly fires started on January 7."

Barack Obama Move During Inauguration Weekend Fuels Relationship Rumors

RTM   I have passed over a number of posts regarding this, but am beginning to believe there may be some credence to this. TD

"In a notable appearance during inauguration weekend, former President Barack Obama was seen dining solo at one of Washington D.C.’s newest upscale establishments, fueling conversation about his wife Michelle’s announced absence from the upcoming ceremonies and offering a glimpse into the capital’s evolving political social scene.

"The former president made an unexpected entrance at Osteria Mozza, Stephen Starr’s latest culinary venture in Georgetown, on Saturday night.

"His arrival created an immediate stir among diners, who welcomed him with spontaneous applause before he proceeded to a private dining room upstairs.

"Some have even speculated that this move points to broader signs of a possible divorce amongst the Obamas, Resist the Mainstream previously outlined." . . .

Bye Bye, Bidens

American Thinker

"Well, when I say “Joe Biden tweeted,” I mean “whichever nameless White House guy with a lanyard controls Biden’s social media accounts tweeted.' ”

Rich Terrell

Biden: After I’m Gone, I Don’t Care What Happens   . . . "If you paid the slightest bit of attention, it has been obvious for years that Biden, always a mendacious back-bencher hack, was suffering from mental and physical disabilities and was merely a puppet for those pulling the strings. Speaker Mike Johnson related his experience in an interview on Free Press. When he was finally able to push back Biden’s protective phalanx for a one-on-one discussion, he asked Biden why three days before he had halted LNG exports to Europe, a move which made no political or economic sense. Biden denied having done that. (Did the twerps on his staff simply set the automatic signature device on and shove executive orders into it?)

"The New York Times wants us to believe their togas remain pristine -- that they had no idea the Oval Office was occupied by a marionette whose strings were pulled by unnamed puppet masters. They admit what we saw and what the legacy press so long denied: how his staff arranged meetings around his moods, delayed sharing information with him (like negative polling data), surrounded him as he walked to his helicopter to hide the fact he couldn’t walk normally, had him use a teleprompter for even small gatherings, and replaced the steps to his plane with a shorter set.  Mark Halperin is not giving them a pass: ”They print the claims of Biden aides and Biden friends as if they’re true, And there are so many examples of public loss of mental acuity they don’t even mention…. This should never happen again, We should never have an ‘emperor’s new clothes’ conspiracy between an administration of either party and the press corps.”

"The loss of credibility has been a significant factor in the loss of readers and viewers, but the media are now facing additional setbacks. Courts no longer give them the presumption of good faith when they engage in defamation. Trump sued ABC for defamation and received $15 million and an apology from George Stephanopoulos; this week CNN was ordered to pay $5 million for defaming a man who helped people out of Afghanistan during our disastrous withdrawal and apparently will pay out additional sums in punitive damages in a settlement the terms of which are not yet public; and the WSJ indicated CBS  may settle Trump’s $10 billion suit against it for election interference based on a doctored tape of an interview with Kamala Harris, apparently to make her seem more coherent than she was. Fingers to the wind, the owners of the Los Angeles Times and Washington Post are making efforts at fair coverage in a belated attempt to rise from the depths to the waterline." . . .

Jill Biden: The Worst First Lady Ever

"It’s easy to see why so many have compared Jill Biden to Lady Macbeth. She certainly seems to be a woman who, motivated by her own power, orchestrated her husband’s treacherous attempt to be reelected president. (Treacherous because Joe’s cognitive dysfunction made him unfit for office.)

"Jill Biden’s interview with the Washington Post served only to reinforce the narrative that it was she who was the animating force behind that widely denounced reelection bid." . . .

Crime Family – Joe Biden Pardons His Brothers, James and Frank, along with his sister Valerie, and their spouses.  "Literally minutes before he leaves office, Joe Biden just issued blanket pardons for his closest family.  Having previously pardoned Hunter Biden, the departing executive just pardoned his brothers, James and Frank, along with his sister Valerie, and their spouses.

"The Biden family crime syndicate, those who engaged in the benefit of Joe Biden selling the influence of his office for financial gain, are attempting to preemptively pardon themselves from any investigation or prosecution of their criminal conduct." . . .

Biden's Latest Unbelievable Statement on Hamas Has People Calling Him 'Nuts'

 Nick Arama

Plus, no, Biden isn't going to be involved with this deal in the future. Once he's out the door on Monday, he's done. Even on that, he appears delusional. Maybe this isn't surprising when this guy is inventing a 28th Constitutional amendment out of thin air. Biden has left so many messes for Trump to unspool. But finally, one day left, and then we'll be free.

"Joe Biden is of course taking full credit for the ceasefire currently in effect right now between Israel and Hamas, refusing to acknowledge that it wouldn't have happened without President-elect Donald Trump. Trump threatened there would be "hell to pay" if they didn't turn over the hostages and that moved the needle on the deal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, recognized Trump's critical role." . . .  "Even Biden's own State Department spokesperson Matt Miller acknowledged it. "

Matthew Miller: "When it comes to the involvement of President-elect Trump's team, it              has been absolutely critical in getting this deal over the line."

"It's just Biden who stubbornly wants to reject the obvious.

"But he's completely clueless, as he revealed again on Sunday when he was asked about Hamas. This may be one of the most ignorant, dumb comments he's ever made (and that's saying something). " . . .

"Others pointed out how this just continued Joe Biden's foreign policy ignorance. Here's his clueless take on Afghanistan, claiming the Afghan Army would beat back the Taliban. He also lied about the intel on it, and had an empty-eyed look. That was 2021. It was that bad even then.

"Commenter Douglas Ritz responded to Yashar Ali on X:" . . .

Trump Tags Space Force Officer Dismissed by Biden Over Criticizing DEI for Role in New Administration

 Ward Clark

LTC Lohmeier was, before moving to the Space Force, an F-15 pilot. He was a Space Force Squadron commander (roughly the equivalent of a battalion commander in the Army or Marine Corps) prior to his dismissal.

"The incoming Trump administration is still staffing up key roles, replacing the Biden appointees with people who actually know what they're doing. That's an unalloyed good thing, but in this process, President-elect Trump is also bringing some justice to some people who were unfairly separated from the Armed Services. People like former Space Force Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Matthew Lohmeier, who was discharged after criticizing the Space Force's "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion" (DEI) horse squeeze. LTC Lohmeier will be serving the Trump administration as Under-secretary of the Air Force.

President-elect Trump announced Friday that Matthew Lohmeier will serve as the under secretary of the Air Force.

“Matt is a former fighter pilot, and Space Force Squadron Commander, who has devoted his life to serving our Great Nation,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “He is a proud graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.”

In 2021, Lohmeier was fired from the Space Force, where he served as a lieutenant colonel, after criticizing the U.S. military on a conservative podcast. Lohmeier joined “The Steve Gruber Show” to discuss his book “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military,” which claims that Marxist beliefs have become increasingly common in the military. In the same appearance, he also called The New York Times’s 1619 Project “anti-American.”

"Bear in mind that there are certain restrictions on active military members appearing at political events in uniform, but service members do not surrender their rights under the First Amendment, and appearing on a podcast to promote a book is not a prohibited activity." . .

Female Israeli prison guards make demand of terrorist to be released who raped them

World Israel News

"Terrorist Mahmoud Atallah, who is scheduled to be released in exchange for Israeli hostages sexually assaulted the Gilboa prison guards."

"Female guards at Gilboa Prison appealed to the Supreme Court that a prisoner who raped them be released abroad and not within Israel.

"Terrorist Mahmoud Atallah, who is scheduled to be released in exchange for Israeli hostages, was convicted of serious crimes, including the sexual assault of the Gilboa prison guards.

"In their appeal, the guards said that the decision to release Atallah within Israel did not take into account the fact that he was a danger to others as well as to the guards themselves.

"The female guards said that if Atallah is released to Shechem as planned, he may be a danger to them, since he has threatened them directly and told them he has their personal information.

"The guards urged the court to approve an arrangement that would preserve their safety and not endanger the hostage release deal by sending Atallah abroad.

" 'The defense echelon has once again failed to protect the safety of female prison guards—this time, however, it is also permitting their blood to be shed,” said the guards’ attorneys."
