The America-Loathing of the Daily Kos
Newsbusters "Apparently, in the land of the Kosmonauts, unless the radical left is in charge of the government, America is a predator nation that should be hated. Even now, with Obama and liberals in charge of Congress, these people still spit at the alleged awfulness of Americans to see the radical light."
MSNBC On-Air Talent Bails; Points Finger At Matthews
Pajamas Media "Lest you think this is a moderate or conservative who’s fed up with the poisoned atmosphere and “lefty games” at MSNBC, this is what passes for “level headed analyst” there. On the day of Teddy Kennedy’s funeral, Crawford (co-author of Listen Up, Mr. President with Helen Thomas) tweeted the following level-headed missives:"...
Syria Engagement, or How America Loses Its Soul
Jennifer Rubin " “Engagement” constitutes “appeasement” if it fails to change Syrian conduct, and the failure to change is overlooked while the “engagement” continues and accelerates. This would not just be fooling ourselves but condoning, rewarding, and thereby inducing even more bad conduct by the Assad regime. Which is precisely what has happened during this year of American engagement." Another "progressive" administration humiliates America before the world.
Weir Waves Napolitano's 'Right-wing Extremism' Report To Brand Bedell
Newsbusters "Patrick Bedell was a registered Democrat who believed George W. Bush was behind 9-11. So how does Good Morning America portray him? As a right-wing extremist, part of a pattern of anti-government violence that flares during Dem presidential administrations . . . " Bill Maher on Pentagon Shooter’s Death: ‘Why Couldn’t it Have Been Glenn Beck?’ "A conservative commentator would never in a million years be able to get away with [deleted] like this...."
SPLC's Democratic Party Mission
Legal Insurrection "The Southern Poverty Law Center issued a misleading and politicized report on hate groups for the purpose of smearing those who oppose Democratic Party plans to expand government."

U.S. criticized on Iran sanctions
Washington Post "One foreign official complained that the administration's efforts would encourage China to water down U.N. sanctions on Iran as much as possible and then push Chinese firms -- should the U.S. law pass -- to invest more in Iran's oil and gas sector."
Christian Science Monitor: Pentagon Shooter ‘Appears’ to Have Been a ‘Right-wing Extremist’
Newsbusters "...writings by Bedell, the shooter, "question whether Washington itself might have been behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks." However, the author didn’t point out that this world view is often associated with the left. "..."...the Southern Poverty Law Center is a liberal organization that often associates conservatives with hate groups. Additionally, the IRS bomber in Austin hated capitalism, hardly something to be associated with right-wingers. " And this: Don’t Believe the MSM: John Patrick Bedell, the Pentagon Shooter, was no Right-Winger "Let’s start by noting that Bedell was a registered Democrat. "The media has completely and conveniently ignored that little fact. They’ve also ignored that he was anti-military; he believed the military murdered Marine Colonel James Sabow. This is a conspiracy theory popular among left-wingers..."
Obama Nominates Far-Left "Progressive" Activist to 9th Circuit Court of Appeals
Fox News " "Applications of constitutional text and principles must be open to adaptation and change ... as the conditions and norms of our society become ever more distant from those of the Founding generation." That theme -- that the Constitution's text and principles must be adapted to changes in the world -- repeats throughout the book and raises eyebrows among conservatives." For the left, that's a resume' enhancement.
Throwing Shoes at Obama in Indonesia, the Country of his Childhood
Atlas Shrugs "He just doesn't get it -- he represents America, and whether he likes it or not, he cannot shed that. And we will not change and remake ourselves so that Obama is more attractive to the forces of evil in this world."
An attack that goes too far
Powerline "...it is appropriate to criticize lawyers who defend terrorists and terrorist suspects. Contrary to what Walter Dellinger would like us to believe, these lawyers have no professional obligation to represent terrorists and terrorist suspects. They did so by choice and this choice, like all others, is fair game for criticism. However, it is entirely inappropriate to suggest that these lawyers share the values of terrorists or to dub the seven DOJ lawyers "The al Qaeda Seven." Unfortunately, this is what a video released by the organization Keep America Safe does." Ouch. Tunnel Wall linked to this video.
Credit Where Credit Isn’t Due
Jonah Goldberg "On the merits, this is pretty pathetic stuff. The same administration that blames all of its mistakes on problems it inherited now wants to take credit for accomplishments it inherited. Still, it’s good news. First and foremost, it’s a sign that the war in Iraq, while costly and deservedly controversial, was not for nothing. Putting Iraq on a path to democracy and decency is a noble accomplishment of which Americans — of all parties — should be proud. Even if you think the war wasn’t worth it or that it was unjustified, only the truly blinkered or black-hearted can be vexed by the fact that Saddam Hussein’s regime is gone and the country is on the path to better days."

Pete Stark hands off gavel
Politico "Officially, Stark stepped aside to keep the gavel of the panel's health subcommittee. But lawmakers and aides said Stark faced a rebellion within the committee and the caucus over his sometimes bizarre behavior and penchant for making offensive comments. " Stark was elected by the people of east San Francisco Bay. Enough said.
