Soros-Walz dinner date reveals who pulls Dems' strings

 Matt Palumbo (nypost.com)

"Walz is of the same vein: As Minnesota’s governor he allowed rioters to burn and loot Minneapolis in 2020. Countless prosecutors backed by Soros refused to prosecute rioters that year, and Harris herself encouraged the unrest by boosting a “bail fund” in a tweet she has yet to delete. "

"Far-left billionaire George Soros has invested heavily in the narrative that anyone who notes that the web of influence he’s spun does in fact exist must be a conspiracy theorist — or worse, an antisemite.

"His son Alex Soros, who was handed the keys to the $25 billion kingdom last year, has gone the opposite route: He practically brags about his sphere of influence on social media, where he posts photos of all the heads of state and influential figures he’s cozied up to, including Chuck Schumer, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi — and Kamala Harris.

"Surely some of them wish Alex was a bit more private; when Soros met with Harris in June of last year (and posted the evidence to his socials) the tete-a-tete was excluded from Harris’ public schedule, implying that she thought that could prevent people from noticing.

"The younger Soros has visited the Biden White House two dozen times — with visible consequences, the latest being the FCC’s race to approve a Soros takeover of over 200 radio stations ahead of the presidential election.

"And the Soros influence will only increase further in a Harris-Walz presidency.

"During the 2024 Democratic National Convention, Alex tweeted out photos of himself and beau Huma Abedin (she sure knows how to pick ’em) with VP nominee Tim Walz — and this week, Soros dined with Walz in his NYC home, posting a snap of the two with the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop."   (Emphases mine, TD)

Why Did George Soros Buy 200 U.S. Radio Stations Right Before the Election?

A word from Miranda Devine

 Scott W. Johnson | Power Line

"Gina Raimondo, called for Trump to be “extinguished for good” during an interview on the Trump-deranged MSNBC."

"In her Devine Online newsletter this morning, New York Post columnist Miranda Devine takes up President Biden’s appearance on The View yesterday. For those of us who missed it, Devine writes:

Joe Biden is still president and, on Wednesday, when he appeared on ABC’s rancid talk show, “The View,” he showed himself, yet again, to be morally unfit for the job.

Just ten days after the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump, Biden pretended to squash his predecessor like a bug on the table. His unfunny slapstick came after host Whoopi Goldberg launched an anti-Trump rant in which she compared the former president to an annoying “bug.”

You’d think Biden might be less reckless after he called for Trump to be put in a “bullseye” days before the first assassination attempt.

The president’s callous disregard for the burgeoning Iranian threat against Trump’s life has set the tone for his administration.

Also on Wednesday, Commerce Secretary and Kamala Harris surrogate, Gina Raimondo, called for Trump to be “extinguished for good” during an interview on the Trump-deranged MSNBC.

At this stage, MSNBC ought to be investigated by the FEC for donations in kind to the Harris campaign.

We know that will never happen, But the dangerous rhetoric coming out of the Harris-Biden administration has to stop.

"Somewhat less harshly than I might, Devine speaks for me."

‘Important Truth’: Hillary Defends Calling Trump Supporters ‘Deplorables’

 Mary Chastain (legalinsurrection.com)

Kamala's incompetence can only be negated by making us all hate Donald Trump much more. TD

"Yes, Hillary. Let the hate run through you.

In her latest book, the failed presidential candidate defended her comments for calling former President Donald Trump’s supporters “deplorable,” which she posted in a Washington Post op-ed.

Leading up to her comments, Hillary described her time with former white supremacist Shannon Foley, who now reaches out to those and helps them shed their racism.

Hillary couldn’t believe Foley felt empathy for them. I get that because I highly doubt Hillary has ever felt empathy.

Hillary “marveled at the empathy Shannon managed to summon for even the most (yes, let’s say it) deplorable bigots.” Yeah, double down on it, Hillary:

I’ve struggled with this myself. In 2016, I famously described half of Trump’s supporters as “the basket of deplorables.” I was talking about the people who are drawn to his racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, Islamophobia — you name it. The people for whom his bigotry is a feature, not a bug. It was an unfortunate choice of words and bad politics, but it also got at an important truth. Just look at everything that has happened in the years since, from Charlottesville to Jan. 6. The masks have come off, and if anything, “deplorable” is too kind a word for the hate and violent extremism we’ve seen from some Trump supporters.

In 2022, an editor at a major American newspaper reached out to ask if I would write an op-ed reflecting on my “basket of deplorables” comment six years on. A gunman in Buffalo had just massacred Black shoppers at a supermarket, reportedly influenced by the racist “great replacement” theory, which had been promoted aggressively by Tucker Carlson on Fox News and embraced by many Republican leaders. The New York Times had published a meticulous investigation finding that, on more than 400 episodes of his top-rated cable news show, Carlson explicitly pushed the incendiary claim that immigrants and people of color are displacing Whites. The newspaper editor said that he and his colleagues spent a half-hour at their editorial meeting talking about this report, and “the notion that the most racist show on cable news is also the most popular stuck with a lot of us.” Several editors, he said, brought up my “deplorables” comment and “how prescient” I had been. Did I want to write an op-ed about it?

It was tempting." . . .

Biden-Harris Admin Turning Migrants into Voting US Citizens at 'Fastest Speed in Years' as Election Draws Closer

  The Gateway Pundit | by C. Douglas Golden, The Western Journal

They are importing voters. It is obvious. pic.twitter.com/R9eSY3qH9u  — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) September 26, 2024

"It’s like they couldn’t even make it any more obvious for us.

In an election where razor-thin margins could decide who controls the White House, the Senate and the House, the Los Angeles Times reported that “a wave of new U.S. citizens” is “being sworn in across the country as immigration authorities approve citizenship applications at the fastest speed in a decade.”

"That might seem like a curious coincidence, as indeed the L.A. Times insisted it was: “The Biden administration says the uptick in new citizens is due to efforts to reduce a backlog of applications that began during the Trump administration and exploded amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” the paper reported Thursday from a naturalization ceremony in Riverside, California.

"It added: “Immigration officials said the timing is not driven by the election or any political agenda.”

"However, even the Times had to note that “American flags lined the stage as messages conveying the immigrants’ new power played on a large screen.”

" 'Today, I am an American. Today, I am a citizen of the country I serve. Today, I can register to vote,” the message read.

 "Just coincidental. Move along, folks. Seriously, move along or else this becomes disinformation, as the Times made clear:

“ 'Former President Donald Trump and his Republican allies have long repeated baseless claims that Democrats are admitting immigrants into the U.S. for political gain and allowing them to vote unlawfully,” the Times said in the piece.

" 'The issue even made its way into the government spending bill this month when House Speaker Mike Johnson tried unsuccessfully to insert a GOP proposal to require states to obtain proof of U.S. citizenship when people register to vote.” . . .

Acting U.S. President Stops By White House To Pick Up Paycheck (Parody; think Monty Python)

  Babylon Bee nails it again

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Despite fighting an ongoing war with Russia, acting U.S. President Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy appeared to be in high spirits as he dropped by the White House to pick up his most recent paycheck.

Though it required him to take valuable time away from campaigning on behalf of U.S. politicians, Zelenskyy was eager to stop by the Oval Office to personally receive his paycheck from his underling, Joe Biden.

"I love money," Zelenskyy told members of the White House Press Corpse as he picked up his check with a sly wink.

"When asked why he doesn't use direct deposit, Zelenskyy said he feels nostalgic about picking up a check in person. "There's nothing quite like holding a check for a couple billion dollars in your hand," he said.

"In recent weeks, Zelenskyy had been quite busy on the campaign trail, making the case to voters why they should give him a second term as the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces. Reports indicated he had traveled all over — flying from Ukraine to Pennsylvania to New York and back again. But he was sure to make time to swing by Washington, D.C. to get paid.

" 'Thanks, Joe!" he said, waving goodbye to the official White House Payroll Clerk as he left for another whirlwind trip to Ukraine.

"At publishing time, Zelenskyy had reportedly asked for a pay raise. "It's tough when you live paycheck to paycheck," he said. "Bombs are expensive.' "

The Democrats’ Joy Of Hating America

  Issues & Insights

"No one believes this nation is perfect, but only those who truly loathe its culture and place in the world would want to wreck it and replace it. And they’re easy to find because they all belong to the same party."

. . ."In the 21st century, nothing has changed. The Telegraph’s 2009 story recounts “the huge increases in migrants over the last decade,” attributing it “to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country” – this according to Andrew Neather, who advised the Tony Blair Labour government. Neather wrote in another British publication that mass immigration “enriched” the country and made London more attractive, more cosmopolitan.

"Another purpose was to “rub the right’s nose in diversity,” which lines up perfectly with what the American left has been up to for several decades, because the right unabashedly, and sincerely, loves this country, and that triggers the other side.

"The Democratic Party, Kamala Harris now its titular chief, unleashed illegal immigration after Donald Trump nearly closed the spigot. The lawlessness returned on Jan. 20, 2021, when the new president, Joe Biden, used executive orders to begin rolling back Trump’s border security policies. They were too successful for the left’s refined tastes, so Biden had to kill them.

"Two months later, Biden named Harris “border czar,” which only encouraged illegal border crossings. During Biden’s first three years, an estimated 7.4 million illegal immigrants invaded the country, more than three times the number that crossed during Trump’s four years. There were also nearly 2 million “gotaways” who jumped the border in Biden’s first three years but weren’t caught.

"The border crisis was not the product of incompetence. It was a matter of deliberate choice. Thomas Klingenstein, principal in the investment firm of Cohen, Klingenstein and the chairman of the Claremont Institute’s board of directors, laid this out four years ago when he said “the multicultural movement, which has taken over the Democratic party, is a revolutionary movement.” He was not talking about a “metaphorical revolution,”  but a real “revolution, an attempt to overthrow the American founding.' ” . . .

A modern pogrom through history’s lens | Though it has only been a year, some things have become clear since Oct. 7.

  Phyllis Chesler Organization (phyllis-chesler.com)

"Fifth: More people now know that the raging, masked, keffiyeh-wearing demonstrators who have been flooding American and European cities and campuses since Oct. 7 have been bought and paid for by Russia, Iran, Arab oil money, and woke American philanthropists and foundations."

Photo added by TD

"Can anyone really evaluate Oct. 7—the genocidal pogrom that took place barely a year ago and is not yet over?

After all, scholars are still analyzing pogroms that took place thousands of years ago all over the pagan, Christian and Muslim worlds. Only recently has the scholar Irina Astashkevich documented, in her 2018 work Gendered Violence: Jewish Women in Pogroms: 1917-1921, the terrifying but typical details of the rape and femicide of Jewish women during pogroms that took place more than a century ago.

"More than 1,000 pogroms took place in 500 locales. Lives, as well as minds, were lost. Entire communities were erased. In the aftermath, some women attempted suicide, others succeeded, some women stopped menstruating and others had to be psychiatrically hospitalized, most were afraid to go outside forever afterward.

"In Astashkevich’s words: “The carnival of violence, complete with scenes of torture, rape and murder, played out on the second day of the pogrom as ‘celebratory street theater.’ Pogrom perpetrators purposefully drove Jews into the streets and hunted down their victims … acts of torture took place in front of an audience of pogrom perpetrators, the local population and frightened Jews. The ritualized violence reiterated the previous pogroms, but often in a more grotesque and horrifying form … . Pogromschiki bayoneted their victims, careful not to kill them, but to leave the wounded to suffer and bleed to death in agony that sometimes lasted for several days … . Pogromschiki made sure that all the apothecaries were wrecked, and there was no medical assistance.”

"Even now, decades later, original and important analyses are still emerging about the Holocaust.

"Just this year, my friend and colleague, Shulamit Reinharz, published an extraordinary book, Hiding in Holland: A Resistance Memoir, which breaks new ground about how some Jews may have survived the Nazis by hiding and by being hidden. Reinharz’s work, which relied upon her father’s “hidden” memoirs letters and conversations, required her considerable academic skills and access to a vast and still-growing literature on the Holocaust and the perspective that more than 80 years in the future can provide.

"I immediately knew that Oct. 7 was a pogrom, yet my understanding of what was unique about this particular Iranian-funded crime against the Jewish people and humanity overall has evolved in the months since the initial attack. As we approach the first anniversary of that horrific event, a number of items stand out.

"First: Hamas terrorists recorded live video footage of their atrocities and released it on social media. They even sent it to the families of those who were tortured, raped, murdered or kidnapped.

"Second: The attacks unleashed an ugly and increasingly ominous global firestorm that has cheered on Hamas’s sadism as “resistance” and condemned all Israeli civilians—be they Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Druze or Buddhist. It has also led to a seemingly unstoppable, propaganda-driven, worldwide siege against the Jews." . . .

The Real Kamala Harris

 Beware of elected officials who have never run a business, never made a payroll, never felt the pressure of earnings, deadlines, regulations, or downsizing. TD

(terrellaftermath.com)
"Harris has unfailingly, aggressively, in every possible way, opposed law enforcement, while supporting criminals and illegal aliens." AC
Ann Coulter (townhall.com)  "It's crazy for Donald Trump not to agree to another debate. While he may not be everybody's cup of tea, his opponent is an absolute lunatic who could do permanent damage to our country, in addition to the damage that she's already done.

"The media sure aren't going to alert the public to this looming danger. It's up to Trump.

"Among her other plans for us, Kamala Harris is for:

-- Slavery reparations;

-- Defunding the police;

-- Taxpayer-supported transgender operations for prisoners and detained illegal immigrants;

-- Paying bail funds for violent BLM rioters;

-- Decriminalizing illegal immigration;

-- Abolishing ICE, (or, as The Washington Post put it, "she signaled an openness to a sweeping overhaul of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency");

-- Banning fracking, offshore drilling and gasoline-powered cars;

-- Mandatory confiscation of "assault weapons"; and

-- Abolishing private health insurance.

"The media act as if she's changed her mind on only one or two little things, like fracking -- as opposed to on every single position she's ever held -- and proceed to coach her on how to explain these trivial reversals.

"Here are a few ideas from The New York Times:

"Todd Purdum: "One person's flip-flop is another's proof of a stateswoman's maturation. Why not own it?"

"James Carville: "The retort can be simple: I learned from my time governing in the White House. These are my positions. Take it or leave it."

"Frank Bruni: "We're always learning and always growing, or at least we should be: That's a sign of humility, curiosity, openness."

"Except the problem is, there's no evidence that Harris has, in fact, changed her mind, and a lot of evidence that she hasn't. For one thing, she has come out in favor of these policies repeatedly, recently and on tape. Worse, every chance she got, she actually implemented them. Kamala Harris urges ending Senate filibuster to pass abortion rights legislation

 Chris Benson UPI

"Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Vice President Kamala Harris said this week she supports an "elimination" of the Senate's filibuster rule in order to push federal legislation to codify reproductive freedom.

" 'I think we should eliminate the filibuster for Roe, and get us to the point where 51 votes would be what we need to actually put back in law the protections for reproductive freedom and for the ability of every person and every woman to make decisions about their own body," Harris, the Democrat's nominee for president, said Monday in a Wisconsin Public Radio interview that aired Tuesday, "and not have their government tell them what to do."

"The current make-up of the Senate is complicated with 47 Democrats, 49 Republicans and 4 Independents -- some former Democrats -- and Harris as a tiebreaker vote per constitutional order.

"But the progressive wing is not able to codify the medical procedure into law. The filibuster requires 60 votes for any such effort to pass. That means that at least 10 Republican senators would have to buck their party to favor abortion-rights legislation, which is a hurdle in its own." . . .

Eric Adams, former NYPD captain, becomes first NYC mayor indicted in office after being ensnared in federal corruption investigation

  Daily Mail Online

"More federal investigations and resignations have ensued since, spurring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to demand Adams to resign on Wednesday night."

Adams initially welcomed the concept of New York being a sanctuary city - with the then campaigning mayor, just
days before he was elected, celebrating the then new arrivals as 'keeping our city running' during the pandemic

"New York City Mayor Eric Adams painted himself as a victim of persecution after being indicted on federal charges last night, saying he was singled out by the Biden administration for his stance on the migrant crisis.

"Adams, 64, became the first New York City mayor to be charged criminally while still in office on Wednesday. The indictment remains sealed.

"In a pre-recorded video statement released on Wednesday night, Adams chalked it all up to a political witch hunt. He believes he is being unfairly cast out for speaking out against the Biden administration's disastrous handling of the migrant crisis.

"While the indictment remains sealed, Adams has came under fire in the past for questionable donations to his 2021 campaign from associates of the Turkish government.

"The New York Times reports that Adams' dealings with Israel, China, Qatar, South Korea and Uzbekistan are also under the federal microscope.

"His indictment on Wednesday comes after a turbulent month of investigations and subsequent resignations from senior members of the NYC government." . . .

A splendid little rat's nest of discord for Kamala Harris: Rashida Tlaib lays down a support-Hezb'allah-or-else marker for her

 Monica Showalter - American Thinker

Might Tlaib just queer it for Kamala on the Michigan matter as the terrorist war goes on in Lebanon? One can only hope so. It's delicious to see one's enemies get Medieval on each other. Fight and thrash away against Kamala, Rashida. Go get her.

"Now here's something we can assign to the binder called "Good Trouble":

"Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a full-blown Democrat squad member and Palestinian-American who represents a Detroit-area seat in the swing state of Michigan, is mad as heck about Israel bombing Hezb'allah in Lebanon and has laid down a marker for Kamala Harris: Stop Israel from bombing them ... or else." . . .

. . . "It reads like a Hezb'allah press release, given that Iran-backed Hezb'allah has been bombing and displacing Israeli citizens on their own land for nearly a year, most notably in the wanton murder of a group of Druze children as they played soccer on a field, in addition to displacing tens of thousands of Israelis in the north from their homes.

"They've getting away with it for years, they've stepped it up in the last year, Israel is tired of it, and has decided to take them out.

"Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's public approval ratings have soared as
a result.

"Now Tlaib is upset about these surgical strikes on terrorists in their nests.

"How anyone can defend Hezb'allah, without being Hezb'allah, is something of a mystery.

"But here we are -- she's as mad as an old wet hen about Israel taking care of business, and is demanding Harris do something to stop Israel, as if Bibi would pay any attention at all to the rude clowns in the White House who treated him so badly on his last trip to the states." . . .

Kamala delivers another load of evasive gibberish to fawning MSNBC interviewer

 Monica Showalter - American Thinker   "Kamala Harris doesn't have any idea what she's doing, let alone any idea about what she'll do if she gets into the Oval Office.

"That was obvious enough from her second interview with Stephanie Ruhle on MSNBC, apparently the only interviewer she trusts won't make her look stupid, and still she looked stupid. No matter, though, Ruhle tried to spin for her afterward.

"Among other things, Harris repeated herself, like someone who doesn't know what to say, or who's used to not being listened to:

. . ."Joel Pollak at Breitbart News gave a comprehensive overview describing the extent of the problem:

Vice President Kamala Harris gave her first solo interview Wednesday on cable news as the Democratic Party’s nominee for president, and failed to answer questions even in a friendly interview by MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.

"MSNBC's host asked better questions than she did last week, but after getting the ridiculous answers to them from Harris, tried to excuse it and explain it away: . . ."

And that is, in a nutshell, the Harris campaign. There is no there, there. It is a manufactured facade run by a cabal of Democratic Party insiders who have no perception of what life in America is actually like. Harris' "opportunity economy" is nothing but a consultant-driven catchphrase. There's no plan to implement it because it doesn't mean anything. A theoretical Harris administration would just be a continuation of Biden's policies, and everyone with a brain knows it.
